The Boy In The Revival Factory

Two unemployed stoners brainstorm a new business venture.

Calvin and Mikey are completely unemployable, but that doesn't stop them from brainstorming ideas for a new venture... Start Up is a home-made, low-budget, adult animated comedy concept series about an optimistic idiot and a drug-addicted koala, who start a company together. It's the perfect cartoon for stoners, adultswim fans, and lovers of animated sitcoms. Only one episode was animated to completion, but several episodes are written. So, I guess if this blows up and gets a hundred thousand views, I'll finish animating the series for you. Otherwise, this one is being kicked into the vault along with my other cartoons. Though, I must say, I'm most proud of this one. START UP characters, concept, imagery, and script is Copyright as per Australian copyright act 1968. OVER THE HILL IN CLACKERVILLE – Official Trailer

Footy

Glitchart / Videoart short film featuring spacey visuals and surreal soundscapes

The April Lyrids cometh ~ look to Lyra & Hercules (the constellations) ~ Vega (the star) lights thy way! The April Lyrids = a meteor shower lasting from about April 15 to April 29, originating from dust particles shed by the comet Thatcher ~ the strongest annual shower of meteors from a long-period comet. Observed / reported since 687 BC, no other observable shiny space shower has been recorded as far back in time… In 687, the Zuo Zhuan (an ancient Chinese narrative history) described the meteor shower: “On the 4th month in the summer of the year of Xin-Mao… fixed stars become invisible; at midnight, stars fell like rain.” In the Australian Aboriginal astronomy of the Boorong tribe, the Lyrids represent the scratching of the Mallee fowl (represented by Vega), coinciding with its nest-building season. …may your eyes be filled with & your nests be built with shooting stars… (datamoshing + soundscaping = me)

Hey everyone, this was a project I had floating around for a while, i started fresh with new animation techniques, previously i was creating everything as PNG images and building puppets in OpenToonz. If you have used this before you know its a massive headache, there is a lot of issues, including not being able to preview before you could render, or even not being able to render anything over 50 frames. Thus i took a leap of faith and learned how to us Moho! This program has been a game changer, I'm glad i really knuckled down committed. Anyway this project started as a pipe dream, i had wanted to get some funding from the Australian government to really create something special, unfortunately i didn't fit their criteria (shocker i know). So once again, im on my own, but shit, i honestly loved this, i promised myself i wasn't going to make something with an huge story, but hell, i cant help myself! The Island and the town of Eldridge is built around the U.S.S Eldridge, a ship that was used in the Philadelphia experiment, the island itself is inhabited by people from different timelines, all survivors and all without knowledge of how they got here, Chad from the mid 2000s, Dante from 1105, and Suzie from the far future.Everything was built around the philosophies of Plato, mainly The Cave. not only does this humanise the past, present and future, but it tackles everything from who we are, what are we doing here, and what does this all mean. Chad was a character I've always wanted to make, he essentially just me when im angry, which is why i enjoyed doing his voices so much! i wasn't sure using my normal voice would work as i had used them with previous characters and actually hated them. Suzie was my attempt at actually doing a fun quirky robot character as ive always loved Gur (Invader Zim) and Clap trap.she will be interesting going forth, i have some great ideas for her! Dante was always such a fun character to create! im still honestly not 100% on the design, i tried different designs but nothing landed like this, its basic, i know. Id love to hear some feed back, don't be shy, i appreciate that anyone has watched it, that's enough for me!I do this stuff because i love it, i work all the time! im a qualified baker, but my dream has always been animation and writing, ill never stop, this is my heroine. Much Love, Ryan.

Truck Hargrove and his class "field trip"

This shit took me so long lmao (First half of the animation was done back in 2024 when this was a budding idea so forgive for the shift in quality from beginning to end, and the video sat on my system for months) Programs used: Flash mx 2004 (Animation) Fl studio, Audacity and Beepbox.co + live recording (Music) Notepad (script) + my own voice acting and audio sound effects added Subtitles experimental and generated from the original script + some google translate help, Some of it might have not translated well but i just wanted to try to expand the reach of this dumb video of mine and make it more understandable (Short intro summary: As the students of Hargroves classroom act unruly in his eyes, he takes matters into his own hands and sends them on a field trip (One of them) will never forget..)

A whole movie made by me and a few friends!

After Stealing some plutonium, SKINNY MAN is now able to power his masterpiece, The DOOMSDAY, which can destroy entire cities and take over the world. FATMAN and Pretzel boy find out about this and take off to Area 57 to get help in destroying it! The FATMAN Movie is a feature length Australian animated film created and directed by Saxon135 for Comic Bros. The film released on September 7th, 2025. it features the voices of Ashkan Firouzmandi as FATMAN and Harvey Kane as Pretzel Boy. It is the first film to be released by Comic Bros. Hi everyone, I am so proud to finally publish my very first movie! this has been an overly ambitious project that has been in the works since April 2024! and while it is not as long as I wanted it to be, I am still very pleased with the finished product. compared to the FATMAN episodes, the colour and animation have improved a ton! I especially loved playing around with the lighting that is seen in the explosions and lasers, as you could not do that on the DS. I hope you enjoy this movie too, and I really hope that this achievement allows me to make even more animated content for you guys! If this gets featured on NewGrounds then I would be very grateful for that! Make sure to like, share, comment, and hype the video! OFF GRID IS A SHORT ANIMATED FILM MADE BY A SMALL TEAM IN BLENDER.

OFF GRID is a short animated film made in Blender by a team of four university students. We thank you for watching and hope you enjoyed the project. We put a lot of effort into it, and it’s the first thing we’ve produced at this scale. We had a ton of inspiration for this project—some less obvious than others. Our team wanted to create a Dick Figures × Love, Death & Robots × Regular Show vibe, and we think we achieved that within the short runtime we were given. We hope this finds an audience here, as the Newgrounds community was definitely something we considered when developing the project. Welcome to Steel City.

New Australian cartoon series.

From the guy that had a newgrounds account from 2005 but had it deleted in 2021 to try and join the police but got rejected so instead decided t…

Steel City Cops 01

So it was like 2023 (yes this took a long time mostly because my day job got in the way and when I'm too tired I just sit and play really long 4x games) and I was getting back into making my own cartoons again. I was talking to a co-worker at my day job about how he would go to a shisha bar with friends and they decided he smoked too much and used that as an excuse to ditch him and the one guy was smoking a cigar. I was like 'ehh lets base it very loosely on the essence of that but do something different to try and push myself before I get to writing my web series 🤡 ' and I came up with this idea of comparing different types of smoking. It wasn't even necessarily meant to be all that straightforwardly funny but as it went and I was desperate to move on to other projects jokes just kind of emerged from going stir crazy or hiding shortcuts because it was taking too long. I actually really enjoyed designing these guys and they're definitely showing up again, the tall guy was not iterated at all and was exactly how I wanted him to look right away. All the voices I just mimicked from other Australian YouTube shit I liked over the years (see if you can guess them!) because they just fit the specific type of dude I was imagining and this was originally not going to be a big thing but something I put out in a few months that wasn't just something I had to throw together for a jam. God I'm so happy this is out of my brain and people can stop asking if I 'still make cartoons?' for a while before I inevitably make a project way too big again. LMAO. Tried some editing tricks I learned doing a lot of live action editing the last few years too and I think I did okay on that front, a few things compositionally that I'd change but that's for next time, there's a point where you just have to finish and move on. I still have a lot to learn about sound design though, I really want future soundscapes to be a lot richer and to really figure out how balancing works. I regret never having the time to do the classes available when I was doing my masters at film school but I had so much editing to do back then I needed all that time to put docos and short films together. Fuck even my description is taking way too long I just kind of lived this thing forever. Got more cool shit planned for the future! Hope you like xoxoxoxoEDIT: DAILY THIRD!? THANK YOU GUYSSO MUCH!
