Read the description for lore and detailed programme information.

Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: <a href="https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7</a> We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: <a href="https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/">https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/</a> We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: <a href="https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/</a> We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: <a href="https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/">https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/</a> We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:<ul><li>Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.</li></ul> Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: <a href="https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial</a> NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. So uh this was really just made to enact my character, Ultra B's story in visuals, which is why it isn't full on animation. But, I tried my best to make it a character pilot with all those constraints (like it being my first pilot, letalone animation, ever). I did make some artistic decisions, like construction lines at certain time for lore reasons, but I realize now to people who dont know the lore its a whole bunch of terrible drawing..but I hope you enjoy!

If you were a superpowered stranger in a new city? Would you take up the mantle of its hero or solve problems your own way? WIRD is the action comedy show that I've always wanted to watch as a kid. It combines my artistic inspirations to create a humorous but deep and compelling story about players vying for power in an ever-changing metropolis. One hypothesis is that the tape's original purpose mayhave been artistic or persuasive, but the absence of dialogue, signs and context makesdrawing conclusions difficult. Another hypothesis notes similarities between personsobserved in this footage and in the footage for archive #001, which suggests a potentiallink between locations. After the huge impact of atla left us with, We decided to dedicate our own tribute!

So what is this all about?A reanimated collab (or multi-animator project) is a fan-made tribute where hundreds of artists reanimate a small scene from an existing show in their own unique style. In this case, over 300 animators, voice actors, sound designers and music producers are joining forces to recreate the first two episodes of classic nickelodeon show - “Avatar: The Last Airbender” —shot by shot— as a tribute to the show. This passion project, titled "Reaired", is entirely non-profit and made out of love for ATLA, showcasing the creativity and dedication of the fan community. It’s set to be released in 2027, honoring the series in a fresh, artistic way through hundreds of different interpretations. Each participant can choose only one scene to reanimate in their own style and after they finish it, it is possible to choose another one and of course after they finish with the second scene, it is possible to choose the third and so on. You can reanimate them in your own style. It can be anything! From 2d animation to 3d to stop motion and even live action remake. Avatar: The Last Airbender Re-Aired | Official Teaser

I'd animated this after hearing variations of that phrase a few too many times.

Assuming the audio stays in stereo, this will sound better with headphones on. I had animated and uploaded this on August 31st, 2024. I was using Clip Studio Paint back then, but haven't been able to get CSP 1.0 to work since I switched to Linux, so I only use Rebelle for 2D now. The other VA was @ Cannon_Plop on YouTube. Go give him some love!! I had grabbed random stock sounds off of YouTube that were all listed as royalty free to go with the VA lines from myself and my guest VA. <a href="https://youtu.be/GxiJt-g14Jg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Original upload</a>

"But you don't LOOK autistic."

This is a short animation for a friend who made me smile after my Fiancée died.

My friend recently left town and apologized for what he said "Was the most autistic thing he'd ever done".Little did he know, it was actually the one thing that me back to reality.

Back to Reality

Corrin finds a sword gem, accidentally awakening the town-destroying golem.

Corrin explores the ruins of a long abandoned valley town, searching for a gem to power her sword. However, while her search is successful at first, it also wakes the golem responsible for the towns destruction. Our debut animated short is finally here! This has been a passion project for us that we worked on whenever we had some spare time, meant to test the limits of our artistic capabilities. We hope you enjoy it! Check it out on our YouTube <a href="https://youtu.be/bFZRaHH7KG0" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://youtu.be/bFZRaHH7KG0</a> (No generative AI was used in the making of this video)

RISE - Abcent Original

Finally got around to animating a dream I've had (many times.) Ran up against my self imposed time frame, so please excuse the lack of furniture, but to be honest, dreams don't make sense so take it as artistic liberty. Also had to render in 1k, I mainly stitched this scene together from older projects, but managed to fuck up the assets so badly that I pushed the texture memory past 16gbs (many duplicate shaders), it could only render a few frames before crashing blender and subsequently my desktop manager. I could have fixed it but the render wouldn't have been done before my mini vacation. I need to fix the assets anyway so maybe at a later date, I can come back and update this to 4k, but don't hold your breath.

Happy Mother's Day from the Heart of Linphea! In the magical world of Skyla the Dragon Knight – an official indie spin-off inspired by Winx Club – we honor Poppy, the future Queen of Linphea, devoted mother of Princess Lyna, granddaughter of the legendary Queen Krystal, and beloved future wife of Flora and Helia’s grandson, Herb. Spaz meets a scary guy after his Slop video gets interrupted. (Stop Motion + Animation)

I figured I should upload this here because this is an artistic project I am quite proud of, obviously I'm still a stop-motion beginner so I won't give myself TOO much credit for my work. Spent a whole weekend on this one, took me a while to upload here on Newgrounds. Sorry for the hold-up, I'll try to hop back on the creative saddle real soon!

Cora snaps back at Pat for bragging about who he sleeps with.

WIP. This is basically an artistic palette cleanser animation I worked on this for maybe an hour and a half today - currently figuring out how to use toon squidI like to think of this monologue as Cora snapping at Pat who often brags about who he is sleeping with. On another note I love the rasp of the og audio…I also came across “T voice” and love the buzzing. Currently playing with the idea of Cora having “T voice” or a “T voice”/Richard Horvitz adjacent voice. audio source: @/zachary.plus on TikTok

SOU FERA - JULIA MESTRE

Antisocial is a handcrafted stop-motion animated music video created over seven years.

ANTISOCIAL is a fully handmade, non-commercial stop-motion short film and animated music video created in Gera, Thuringia, Germany. Created by Studio RE-ANIMA-TRO for the German death-metal-punk band Pedagogic Torment. The entire project was produced independently by one person over the course of seven years — from designing and building puppets and miniature sets to frame-by-frame animation, photography and final post-production. No studio system. No external funding. No shortcuts. More than 6,000 individual frames were created using traditional stop-motion techniques, handcrafted puppets, practical effects and physical materials. There is no spoken dialogue and no subtitles. The film relies purely on visual storytelling, movement and music. Rough textures, handmade surfaces and visible imperfections are intentional and part of the artistic language of the film. ANTISOCIAL explores themes of isolation, resistance and absurd inner conflict through a surreal and darkly humorous story. Instead of explaining everything, the film focuses on atmosphere, movement and interpretation. The soundtrack was written and performed by Pedagogic Torment and acts as the backbone of the project — somewhere between an animated music video and a narrative short film. Since 2024, ANTISOCIAL has been screened internationally at 100+ film festivals across 32 countries and six continents, receiving 29 awards and distinctions. Selected recognition includes:- Winner – Best Story (FEEDBACK Animation Film &amp; Screenplay Festival, USA)- Winner – Best Animated Short Film (FECIS – Salto Independent Film Festival, Uruguay)- Winner – Best Music Video (Mannheim Arts and Film Festival, Germany)- Winner – Best Stop Motion Animation (UK Film Awards)- Winner – Best Animated Film (Global INDIE Filmmaker Awards, United Kingdom)- Winner – Best International Music Video (Zepstone International Film &amp; Music Festival, USA) This project exists because stop-motion is slow, physical and handmade — and because some stories only work when they are built one frame at a time. EXTREME GORE WARNING! An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with the audio by Alex the Doggo and a little something extra The amount of custom models in this is insane. I ported all Postal 4 assets seen, even The Dude, as the current version is different than the Gmod model. This has been done with the personal blessing of Running With Scissors. Some easter eggs:<ul><li>The dude is smoking crack when Art enters.</li><li>The Rocket Launcher is running DOOM in reference to an easter egg in Rage</li></ul><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508323_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508323_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"><ul><li>The Rocket Launcher also has The Gandalf head bob gif loop</li><li>The Chainsaw scene is based off the climax of Evil Dead 2013</li></ul><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508321_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508321_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508322_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508322_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,314"><ul><li>When Dude shoots Freddy, it's based off the climax of Ghost Rider when he shoots the gun at Legion, but it's too short to tell that</li></ul><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508319_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508319_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508320_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508320_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="500,250">This is what I consider my Magnum Opus currently because I feel proud for managing to make the trash bag move like a trash bag does, especially when Art is trying to rip out of it. This was done purely through experimentation and guesswork using flexes and custom bones on the Left 4 Dead trash bag model, and I am extremely happy that it turned out as something very comfortable and easy (for the most part) to animate with no issues in the final product. Art ACTUALLY rips out of the bag, the bag shakes around like he's inside of it, and the hole actually expands as he rips out. Also, despite all of that, the hardest part to animate was "Gucky"<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508325_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508325_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">Not because of the mask, or the rig of the model, but because of how precise the movement had to be to look convincing. I spent two weeks on it alone out of the 30 days I spent animating this. The perk of being an autistic unemployed fuck (thanks for the genes, mom!) (no, seriously. Diagnosed in 2005, baby!) is that you have all day to do nothing but animate. I even kept experimenting with re-rigging the bones on the coat to make them move more realistically, but it didn't turn out how I wanted.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508327_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508327_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">Notice how GUCKY is in an awkward pose. I wanted him on a better pose, but the rotation looked very unsmooth when I did so and this segways into the next frame better. Also notice the coat's strange dome-like shape. I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Hopefully Postal 4 one day adds physics itself and re-optimizes the model to have it. The model "supports" it "for a future update" that was teased years ago - this pretty much means that its legs and the coat are separate. However, the shirt and coat are fused, so I can't get it as loose as I want, so I've decided to add a belt to future edits, although my last belt edit is totally gone due to a hard drive crash on my secondary workstation. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508328_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508328_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">Dude has re-kindled his inner child and loves playing with toys again. The lore I came up with is that Chucky's spirit was transferred into a mask of his own face, and then Chucky put it on and Gary took over his body. Gary can only rest when he kills his killer. Being that this is Postal, the timeline diverges from ours, but nobody in Postal stays dead, either due to psychosis or something from the local military bases, maybe even both. I just know that it smells like shoe polish all the time in this fucking shithole of a city. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/508/iu_1508329_7642109.webp" alt="iu_1508329_7642109.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430">SO LONG AND GOODNIGHT! Music used: BFG division I'd also like to thank my Autism for making my special interest Postal instead of something cool like trains, computers (it is one, but not THE one), or Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the Playstation 2. Postal Dude in a Slasher Movie

This talent usually kills people but not our favorite undead ghoul Nancy :))

Currently experimenting with the 2D animation style again, was too lazy to provide proper voicing for this test animation lol but I got a good feel for how I want to continue the series in a more raw fashion EDIT: Removed disclaimer, if dark humor offends you then turn away now ;P

AWESOME PARTY TRICK DUDE 😭

The First Internet Animation On Three-Strip Technicolor.

So….Uhh…Sonic The Hedgehog is back on my animation production after 2 years? Kinda because it actually a competition of short subjects that I created during the Late 2022-2023 Period and been rerelease (or reissue) under my film distribution “Saturn Vision Media Film Distribution” including new yet nostalgic-like title cards. but there a catch but an artistic catch to enhance my animated shorts color wise. That would be The Ol’ Three-Strip Technicolor Process from the Golden Age of Hollywood or Animation that make colors look very vibrant. Because keep in mind that I’m very fascinating on vibrant colors or the aesthetic of retro cinema for god how long. Why am I using an old technology that has now dead for 7 decades or 42 years if you count Mickey Christmas Carol being the final animated short to be produced on Three-Strip Technicolor. To revive lost aesthetic or art from the retro Hollywood. enjoy this animation competition. For context, I thought it'd be funny to recreate that slightly cringy PF cutscene with Scar, but with

Scar Kitty

[Release] Ivy and Viper - Artistic Appraisal (Climax Edit) 'What can I say? I'm a work of art!' Stone on stone, you would think that it is rather a tough action, but Ivy is much more soft in certain places than you would think! Beel Clintong o.o This is NOT meant to spark political discussion lol. I'm not even American and don't know a lot about Bill Clinton, I'm just kind of autistic about unidentified Bill Clinton song parodies, which has led me to finding the character Bill Clinton really funny unfortunately. Song is created by me - it's the theme to my game Whack-A-Bill (it's what you think it is).

Slick Willie's Slick Moves

Based off of an old Eroticphobia animation

How are y'all rockin with the casting choice that Megan Fox is going to be Toy Chica? You think it'll work or is it going to be a repeat of her Nitara from MK12? I'll tell you one thing, Scott knows what he was doing. This is diabolical. Anyways have my first porn post on this website. It'll be one of many, but Imma try and treat newgrounds as a more "professional" place for my work, so not as much as my DA or Twitter (I say professional but I'll forget this website exists if I don't post on it for another week, just you wait) I also want to say that most of my NSFW or at least very suggestive renders will feature this Toy Chica model/design. Eroticphobia's Toy Chica is an autistic fixation of mine, and you will accept it.
