A cozy-ish cabin scene with a few spooky characters doing small things in the background.

Here's an animation I rendered in Blender 4.1. It's a cozy-ish nighttime cabin scene with a few spooky characters reading or doing small things in the background, along with some spooky music playing and some ambient fire crackling sounds (basically mimicking those lo-fi videos a bit). The characters are Karaka and Kiduna, both by an artist called Merafume. The models were made by Sumsnermin. I used a procedural toon flame material for the fire This animation was actually made last year for Halloween , but all of the materials and modifiers that the models had were a lot for this meh-level computer to handle. Rendering it took over 70 hours total over about a month of separate sessions. I couldn't meet the Halloween deadline, so I saved the video for the next year. Trailer for an animated short film about wendigos coming soon

This is a trailer for a short film that I have been working on for the past few months and which will come out very soon. The short film is called 'Wendigo Hillbillies'. It's about a man who is lost in a snowstorm. He seeks shelter in a cabin which happens to be inhabited by wendigos who dress and act like rural hillbillies, but are actually out to devour him the moment he drops his guard. The film's look is supposed to resemble old school animation in a way, with hand-painted backgrounds and 2D animated characters, but now inside a 3D environment. The 3D environment is entirely made in Blender, and the 2D animation is made with Callipeg (tie-down), Moho (clean-up) and TVPaint (coloring). And the music is composed by a cousin of mine. I'm very excited to share the full short film with y'all when it's ready to be released! For now though, you can enjoy the trailer!

Wendigo Hillbillies - TRAILER

Keaton’s quiet night is interrupted by a rustle in the bushes… KARO NOTES:So you may sorta know Keaton from the Nov 2024 animatic I did. This time, he’s been redesigned into a more Felix the Cat shape (some people thought it was a Sonic thing) I think it’s the best he’s ever looked throughout his decade of existence, it’s fun to express with and see in action. This short was largely done in December, so I had to add back in a few PINGtreon supporters from the time. It was also originally supposed to be a part of a different larger project I had in store related to the Donkey Kong Country TV Show, but I plucked it from there because I liked it enough to keep it independent. That said, there are a lot of small nods to the DKC show in this. The statue of Vin the Mothman was made to resemble the DK statue Cranky has in his hut. The record player was based on the one used in “Double Date Trouble”, as well as it being used to ward off the Kritters. The cloth that Keaton drapes over the windows is based on K.Rool’s cape, he has pots of cacti similar to the ones seen in Funky’s place, he has Cranky Kong’s globe with Kongo Bongo Island mapped in there, the lantern, alot of Keaton’s RV was based on Cranky’s Cabin. For the music to this one, I went out and got a panflute and a pipehorn to bring in a more naturalistic feeling to this one. I wanna tie Keaton’s movements to the panflute and have that accentuate the way he acts. I had a finger piano laying around for a few years now from a reptile zoo gift shop, so I used that here. I knew I’d use it in relation to a Keaton short at some point, and now I have. I wanna go more complex with the music I do in these shorts. There shall be more to come for Keaton… ~KARO '26 TO JOIN THE PILLOWFORT► https://patreon.com/CountessKAROWHERE ELSE TO FIND ME►https://countesskaro.carrd.co/STORE►https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/

A short film about a captain who underestimates a monster. An animation exercise

Few parts of the animation were surprisingly challenging. The ocean movement and waves were fun to animate, but the boat shots required a bit more thought. Since the boat is drawn in 2D and not a real 3D object, rotating and changing angles had to be done manually to keep the illusion working. For example, when the boat tilts and the camera angle changes, I had to adjust the drawing so it feels like the boat is turning in space, even though it's really just a flat drawing. The top-down shot of the boat was also tricky. As the camera pulls away, the captain had to look upward toward the viewer, and the cabin needed a slight backward tilt. In the real world you would naturally see a bit more of the top surfaces when the camera moves farther away, so I had to fake that perspective shift in 2D. Interestingly, the sea monster itself wasn't the hardest part. The most challenging bit was actually the water splash when the monster emerges from the ocean. Getting the motion of the water to feel energetic and believable took a lot more tweaking than I expected.Everything in this animation was created using Arttista, a 2D illustration and animation tool that I built myself. I've been using projects like this to experiment with different animation workflows and features while developing it. It is a high quality, fully voiced (by yours truly) audio/image series presented in episodic video format that features a purple hair girl called Claire who, after a series of events, finds love and sexual interest in the arms of her husband’s grandfather. Project is fictional of course and it is mainly focused on telling a deep, engaging and slow-burn, but hugely satisfying porn story between a younger adult woman and a much older man. This is a story driven 18+ porn content that gets more and more interesting and hotter with each episode, which is kind of a break from a lot of other content out there that is focused on immediate action or just animations which are straight to the point. Series will have a lot of interesting surprises, twists and turns, unexpected new characters, porn scenes and situations that are not that common out there in 3DX world as we go deeper into the story. I think it is safe to say that Claire will have a wild ride throughout this series! ;) Thanks for watching this video and have an awesome day! Much love!❤️
