LEVIATHAN HORROR SHOW Ch. 3

Jaiden’s Bitesize Hobbies - Conspiracy Boards (SNEAK PEEK)

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying #IndieAnimationDay so far, and all the Sneak Peeks / Showcases / Previews of all the RAD & EXCITING Animations by all the Fabulous Indie Creators! (I know there’s a bunch of Animated Shorts & Series I’m looking forward to seeing more of!!) For the Past 8-9 Months, I have been working away on trying to create a New Animated Short, one that I would (Hopefully) like to become something bigger on my channel and that project is… JAIDEN’S BITESIZE HOBBIES • SYNOPSIS: “Jaiden’s Bitesize Hobbies” is a Character-Focused, Slice-of-Life Anthology, delving deeper into glimpses of the Day-to-Day Hobbies & Activities between our Main Duos - Jaiden & Kianna and Byron & Sabrina, including others like Brenda and Eleisiya, as they find themselves in plenty of hijinx, such as pulling an All-Nighter to fall down a Conspiracy Rabbit Hole, catching themselves a Billy Bass by the Harbor Side, or getting too hopped up with Caffeine during a Basketball Game in the Park. • The Series is Based on My Self-Produced Comic Series - Jaiden’s Wildlife Journey (Available for Purchase via the Link Below)- (https://ko-fi.com/s/5ebd202364) ——— Storyboards have been COMPLETED Since January, Voice Recording has been COMPLETED Since May, and I am Almost Half-Way Completed with Animation on the First Short, even though that’s a ton of progress made, Animation is still Very Time-Consuming to create… and since I am the Sole-Animator behind this Project, and have conventions planned for the Fall/Autumn like IN-MOTION (London), THOUGHT BUBBLE (Yorkshire) & INKBLOT (Manchester)… I’m not able to get “CONSPIRACY BOARDS” ready for the Initial Mid-Late Fall Release (as it is a 4-Minute Mini-sode, and i’ve only just finished nearly the First Minute / ACT I); but I have simultaneously been working on a “Shorter Mini-sode” (1-Minute) that I’ve gotten (1/3) completed, so that’ll take over the Mid-Late Fall Slot! The Other Mini-sode titled: TABLE FOOTBALL - As they both wait for their refreshment orders to come back, Jaiden notices that there’s something playing on Kianna’s Mind… so to help take her edge off, she suggests they practice playing Table Football to pass the time. ——— While it may take longer to see the release of these Animated Projects - like “Jaiden’s Bitesize Hobbies”, Please be sure to follow the Official Instagram Page over @jaidensbitesizehobbies for More Updates on the series! Bullshit is used during Production)

Motion graphic thing to learn after effects

I hate to admit it but I have been sleeping on After Effects. Definitely much better working with 2D stuff in there than Blender or Godot or trying to write motion graphics with code with Motion Canvas like I've done before. I still used Blender for & Godot rendering some 3D planet stuff because I didn't feel like experimenting with the After Effects 3D tools just yet. And Godot will probably be a main stay as I really love the shader & rigging setup I have in there!

A song I made about creative block Made in FurnaceTracker, and animated in Flash CS6, all by yours truly You can listen to the song on its own here!! I know its been a while since I posted on NG, but I haven't exactly had much to post... sorry about that!!After I finished this though, I thought it would be a crime to not post it teeheeTook about a week and half to make between making the song and the music video... please enjoy the fruits of my labor!! Lyrics:GET ME OUT OF HERE Pick at the walls of my enclosureDays slip away all while I'm losing my composureA fleeting life, a death deniedBetween the bars, outside the box, my freedom lies Trapped in a cell built of my own designHow can that be? Beauty beholden the eye...The will to go on fated to disappear, I'm begging-(You gotta) x6Get Me Out of Here. Watching the clock as hours fall byDrawing a blank, ideas left on the floor to dieLook through the window watching all of the stars go by (Stars go by~)Time's running out, a mental drought, nothing to show Trapped in a cell wrought by my own declineHow can that be? Success is mine to define...The will to go on fated to disappear, I'm begging-(You gotta) x6 Try as I might to create~Over and over the mistake~Getting wrapped up in your head~Just stop caring go get up and make instead~ [Dance Break] Pen to the canvas and drawing the lineEnough standing here I'm all done wasting my timeIt doesn't matter if it ends my career, I've got to-(I gotta) x6I'm getting out of here.

Penelope has painful pimples and she wears a mask to melt away these blemishes.

Scary Terry tells the Short horror story of Penelope whose skin is covered with pimples. The Dealer sells her a mask that will get rid of all her blemishes. It is a mask with eyebrows, mascara, and pink lipstick. She puts it on at night as instructed. By morning she pulls off the mask and her face skin drips off. it did, indeed, get rid of all human blemishes. I didnt think I did very well with this one.Even after asking for help and ideas from multiple people my brain couldn't come up with a truly solid idea. art block maybe but am unsure. I went with the background first since i needed to put something on the canvas, and i just thought to keep it in that shot and have her expand, keep it simple. Thats why i went with the preggo scenario. I don't know why i didn't start her expanding as soon as she walked through the door. probably shoulda got the tummy going straight away but... i dunno. again, was a struggle. That being said, I think it turned out okay, pretty simple, a bit of a mess in places, tho thats pretty normal. my fave bit ended up being the Nami inclusion at the end after all a that.

Aaaand We're back!

Exploring 4 emblematic paintings from belgium artist, Rene Magritte

Explorations is a collection of 4 emblematic works of Rene Magritte, recreated with current technology and the power of 3D modeling and animation. Starting with

Sheherazade, Rene Magritte (1947)

'Sheherezade is the name given to the pearl-woman object in memory of The Thousand and One Nights' (Magritte, quoted in D. Sylvester & S. Whitfield, René Magritte, Catalogue raisonné, vol. II, Oil paintings and objects, 1931-1948, Antwerp, 1993, p. 387). Shéhérazade appears to have been painted in May 1947 and is considered to be one of the earliest pictures to feature one of René Magritte's iconic motifs, the pearl woman. This picture shows the woman, whose mouth and eyes are shown as islands of flesh surrounded by a mysterious framework of strings of pearls, against a backdrop of a sky hewn out of monumental arches of blue. Next to her on the tabletop are two tall pyramids, a glass of water and a thick, claret-coloured curtain. This manages both to invoke the tradition of the Old Masters of Magritte's native Belgium and also to create an intimacy, a domesticity, a normality, lulling the viewer into a false sense of security that is prised apart by the mirage-like vision of the woman who so bracingly stares out from the canvas like some Orientalist incarnation of the Cheshire Cat. She is some form of apparition, perhaps conjured by the rituals of which the pyramids and water may be the paraphernalia. At the same time, she is the alluring and ornate hostess introducing the viewer to a world that has been rearranged in order to reveal its infinite wonder.

The Liberator, Rene Magritte (1947)

'The Liberator' presents a mysterious scene likely intended to provoke thought and curiosity. It depicts a figure seated against a surreal backdrop of floating architectural structures, with soft clouds embedded within. The figure, shrouded in a red cloak and adorned with a straw hat, lacks a discernible face; instead, there are symbolic images such as a key, a wine glass, a bird, and a pipe on a blank canvas where the torso should be. The enigmatic character holds a peculiar wand-like object topped with a bouquet of facial features and eyes. The figure’s attire and the walking stick it holds suggest a sense of journey or pilgrimage, while the suitcase placed by its side further emphasizes this theme. The overall composition resonates with Magritte’s distinctive style, blending reality with dreamlike elements to challenge perceptions and evoke deeper interpretations.

The Rights of Man, Rene Magritte (1947)

In 1948, while musing on the purpose of the titles he assigned to his paintings, René Magritte proclaimed: “I think the best title for a picture is a poetic one. In other words, a title consistent with the more or less lively emotion we feel when we look at the picture”. Across a series of handwritten manuscripts—now preserved in the Archives of Contemporary Art in Belgium and collectively known as “On Titles”— the artist offered a collection of short statements on some of his recent work. Among these brief notes, Magritte wrote about Les droits de l’homme: "Here, man is reminded of his right to act on objects and change the world"

The Annuntiation, Rene Magritte (1930)

The Annunciation brings together many of the themes, both iconographic and philosophical, that engaged Magritte during his stay in Paris from 1927 to 1930, a period in which he was closely associated with the French Surrealists. The painting shows an unlikely combination of objects. Two large bilboquets (Magritte's term for the objects in his works, which, though imaginary, recall wooden balustrades or chess-pieces) stand next to an oddly shaped piece of paper with a decorative cut-out pattern. Behind them looms a grey metal 'curtain', hung with sleigh bells. Despite its incongruity, this collection of objects seems disconcertingly 'at home' in the rock-strewn landscape beneath the grey clouds in the blue sky. The size of the painting (it is one of the largest the artist ever executed), together with its traditional composition and subtle allusions to paintings of Old Master like Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, and Caravaggio, are signs of the ambitiousness of the work.

Canvas Forest

I made this to test out a animated effect I made

I used xp and 95 ms paint. 95 was so I could save/open color pallets, and xp was needed to make gradients. to make the water effect I scaled the spray paint brush to about the size of a 1920x1080 pixel canvas to just place random dots for a few minutes. I saved 12 images of that. I made a short 6 frame animation of a wave moving, then copied it out using the 12 images. I then like sorted the 72 frames into 22 folders so they could be combined into single frames in ms paint using paste from. The frames consisted of 6 images starting with each of the images per frame being about a position apart. They where arranged so they started at the shortest point in the animation, then worked to the largest frame in the animation before reversing the animation back to the smallest point. After a cycle they would be swapped out for a second set that would do the same. The first and last frame would be a repeat so the total count of frames is 22 for the wave animation. Also important to mention that anything and everything in ms paint can be used as a brush as long as it is selected and you are to press shift. Anything selected can also be used as a stamp with ctrl while something is selected in ms paint. Shift select takes ms paint transparency into account as well. The leaf animation was made on the spot and I lost the template I made for it.

Apocalypse Pizza | EP2 - Pizza for Lost Punk kids

A short tail swish animation I did on Procreate Dreams

I was running into an issue in Affinity Designer where I couldn't upload separate layers without there being a white background. It turns after (After I watched a movie and came back to it) that the issue was actually just turning the canvas transparent with a small setting. Anyways, a short animation just to get the handle of Procreate Dreams and Affinity Designer. It's a 'test' animation so I guess this could be experimental.
