Unraveling

This is a turnaround of my very first 3D project. The assignment was for us to create a 3D model of a character on Blender, but there is no need to make it overly complex. Since I didn't have any experience in 3D animation, I chose to make my model based on the lucky cat since it's simple, cute, and doesn't require too many layers. Now making the model was by no means easy, but I stuck through the hardships and this is the best I can offer.

Character Head: Lucky Cat

Hello, guys. I know that there's quite a few flaws with this animation but hopefully I will get better skill-wise soon, no bully pls. That's one of the first full 2d animations I did for public with everything hand-drawn by me, and the first time ever I did audio mixing. I have been working recently on a few others short animations more complex and longer than this one, so I'd appreciate a lot your follow on Twitter for emotional support and to know that I did not just waste dozens of hourshttps://x.com/Kapchynskyi/status/2100259224714424729?s=20

I have tried everything within my power to slay this beast of nightmares, but as we draw closer and closer towards the eleventh hour,I must finally acknowledge its place as the true king of this accursed land.I know now that there is only one plan I can enact that has any chance of producing an acceptable outcome. If I do return from what I am about to do,it will not be for a very, very long time. This unfortunately means that,if someone is reading this, they have most certainly been left to fend for themselves alone in the dark…along with the rest of my beloved people. To whoever is reading this,I implore you to inherit my duty to The Void and keep your fellow man safe from the terrors of the night–” In The Void there exists a man,he has no past,no future and barely anything that resembles a present. The people of The Void begin to dub this strange man “The Warrenless”. If you asked him, The Warrenless would probably tell you that he considers himself a pilgrim of The Void. He tells himself and those who cross his path that his travels are in search of something important; an escape from The Void,or a safe haven from its madness,or perhaps even a one true love. He of course realises to some degree that these goals are nothing more than hopeful half-truths, for The Warrenless has no true goal in mind, he wanders The Void aimlessly in hopes that someone can finally provide him with a purpose,a wonderful purpose, one that can finally outclass the one given to him long ago by that…thing. In The Void there exists a woman, from a very young age she has been well acquainted with her true purpose in all this. The employers that watch her every move, whose visages resemble that of cats, have taken to calling her “The Inheritor”. She hates this name, hates it with every fiber of her being. In spite of this fact, she still uses it, mostly because her employers refuse to acknowledge her as anything else but also because, as time goes on, she seems to find her true name slipping further and further away from her memories. The Inheritor is now standing directly in front of The Warrenless. She was warned countless times by her employers not to do this. That this was one accursed beast not worth adding to her little caravan of creatures. Unfortunately these warnings mean nothing to her at the moment……for the impending disaster she has been trying to avoid is proving itself to be the kind of problem only an accursed beast can solve. As The Inheritor looked up at The Warrenless, she waited for either a formal response or complete annihilation. After what must have felt like an eternity of silence, The Warrenless finally asked her a question…“So…what’s your favorite color?”

Void Complex- Prologue

A short AFTER EFFECTS animation assigment

Music: Spiedkiks - The day before This short was made for a college assigment where we had to animate a character in a 3D scenario, all of this done with the After Effects tools. It was amazing to make a 2D rig, I am sharing down some pics of the Behind the scenes for this animation:

Idea + Sketch: for this assigment I used an old design I made in 2022 for a X QUEST thing, it has been forever so I gave a proper redesign that follows my current style and character design ideals, I think he looks amazing now

The RIG: Drawign the model and separating the body part was the fun part, the hard part was putting it all in After Effect in order, properly connected, and masked.

However the addon "Duik Angela" made the whole Rigging process so satisfying to do, I even got the chance to experiment with it a little, now his Bucket Helmet was completely 3DIMENSIONAL, If I had more time I wish I could make this rig even more complex

3D SCENARIO: Working on 3D with AE is PAINFUL, specially with these looping objects and camera that just pans out, but the tower was a even bigger pain in my ass, in fact I had to cheat on the second scene because making a 3D cone that spins around only on AE is basically impossible, so that cone is actually a 3D object

Plus this fuckass scene wouldn't render for some reason and it almost made me late for the assigment deadline

THE SKY-HIGH TOWER

i spent a ton of hours on this, so you better like it mfs.The rough lines and style i went for with this animation allowed me to focus more on the movement itself, the character was really difficult to get right as it has a really complex design, but i managed to make a lot of frames keeping him consistent enough. this is definitely my best work yet.

Kho'ram hammer spin

Keaton’s quiet night is interrupted by a rustle in the bushes… KARO NOTES:So you may sorta know Keaton from the Nov 2024 animatic I did. This time, he’s been redesigned into a more Felix the Cat shape (some people thought it was a Sonic thing) I think it’s the best he’s ever looked throughout his decade of existence, it’s fun to express with and see in action. This short was largely done in December, so I had to add back in a few PINGtreon supporters from the time. It was also originally supposed to be a part of a different larger project I had in store related to the Donkey Kong Country TV Show, but I plucked it from there because I liked it enough to keep it independent. That said, there are a lot of small nods to the DKC show in this. The statue of Vin the Mothman was made to resemble the DK statue Cranky has in his hut. The record player was based on the one used in “Double Date Trouble”, as well as it being used to ward off the Kritters. The cloth that Keaton drapes over the windows is based on K.Rool’s cape, he has pots of cacti similar to the ones seen in Funky’s place, he has Cranky Kong’s globe with Kongo Bongo Island mapped in there, the lantern, alot of Keaton’s RV was based on Cranky’s Cabin. For the music to this one, I went out and got a panflute and a pipehorn to bring in a more naturalistic feeling to this one. I wanna tie Keaton’s movements to the panflute and have that accentuate the way he acts. I had a finger piano laying around for a few years now from a reptile zoo gift shop, so I used that here. I knew I’d use it in relation to a Keaton short at some point, and now I have. I wanna go more complex with the music I do in these shorts. There shall be more to come for Keaton… ~KARO '26 TO JOIN THE PILLOWFORT► https://patreon.com/CountessKAROWHERE ELSE TO FIND ME►https://countesskaro.carrd.co/STORE►https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/

Keaton's Cryptid Safari - "Keaton Gets Bushed"

Preview of my animated Pilot Mechanic Artwork showcasing one scene

Mechanic Artwork is a stop-motion steampunk series with elements of 2D and 3D animation. The Lobroach scene showcases the coast of Central Island, Gearman's City - the show's main setting, its locals and the native sealife. The lobroach is a mutated lobster-like being birthed from red chemicals in the air which alter most flora and fauna. This is a mainly worldbuilding focused scene, where we take a short break to catch a glimpse of the island before going deeper into its city, events, conflicts and people behind them all... Show Premise:The show is about human nature, war and never-ending conflict present in our day to day lives, highlighted through altered events of its original universe. After the events of The Great Chemical War turned the skies red, introducing a never seen before otherworldly element to an already alienated by conflict surviving human population, an oasis arises in the name of Central Island. In its core, however, wounds of the past remain to swell, infecting the island throughout. The infection of ideology and division, human greed and hunger for power, as well as pure hatred toward it all, boiling within the blood of the Island’s citizens. The government of Central Island – Hometown, and the rebels – Liberta Clan, now at constant war for who gets to enact and define the laws amidst desperate post-apocalyptic times. A detective, thrown into the fire of all the conflict to solve a seemingly unimportant case, spiralling into madness discovering its true purpose. A complex story intertwining the many factions and characters awaits your judgement.Welcome, dear viewer, to the world of Mechanic Artwork! ANY SUPPORT FOR THE SHOW IS ENCOURAGED AND WELCOMED! my first animation using CS4 Flash, Tiffany and Phantome doing Caramelldansen

I've wanted to make this for like months now, finnaly got around to doing it I used Adobe Flash CS4 to make this one, and a copyright free version of the original Caramelldansen by TeffyD, you can listen to it here this is my first animation in adobe flash, so it's a bit simple, I do plan on making more complex animations that aren't just animation loops. This took me 6+ hours to make, most of that time was trying to figure out how to make the music not overlap when looping The two characters in this animation are Tiffany and Phantome, two OCs of mine that are supposed to be old flash game characters from the early 2000s, not necessarily lost flash game characters, but more of less obscure characters that nobody has heard of in universe Note: I tried to upload the SWF file and it kind of didn't work properly on Newgrounds, so the upload here is just a mp4 sadly, hopefully I can learn to properly export SWF files to Newgrounds and not fail like a chud Update: had trouble uploading this, kept uploading the wrong version, hope this works now I do have this gif version tho

So in terms of making anims it'll be safer to just keep him in Blender , He was also made using Blender 5.0.1 so I'm unsure how compatible he is with other versions of blender. Teaser trailer for the game I started working on this year

ENG:Happy Pixel Day, everyone! It's time for me to tell you about the project I'm currently working on. To your attention: "X-Caliber". This is a rouge-like game, where the main feature will be the use of mathematical thinking to advance through the laboratory complex in order to steal the legendary artifact. I will gradually provide the rest of the details through the dev-logs in parallel with the development of the game itself. I made the animation, and the talented Atom Wave helped with the music.

Another weekly, this time it's a scug. I was planning on doing a more complex animation but decided to go back to basics, something simple I could make easily.Slugcat model by Bruhboi https://bruhboi69420.gumroad.com/l/RWSC?layout=profileHuman model Koomer https://smutba.se/project/305b3eb7-ea16-4165-8b52-2987830ab643/Scene by BarraPike https://open3dlab.com/project/f6af8672-160d-4183-a017-375646424fcd/

Ghost in The Shell: SAC 3rd Gig Parody

This is the fourth episode of Roasted Meatloaf, originally made in 2019 (just like 2 and 3.) This animation gets a bit more ambitious, though it doesn't always have the best results. This episode was kind of a struggle in its original development due to some stuff shaking up production. Initially there were some very direct audio and visual references to copyrighted material involved, but those were removed or replaced before the original version was rendered because it was around that time that I started getting more concerned about copyright and related stuff. For this version, I actually made a minor additional change to help dodge some potential personality/publicity rights issues. I don't know if it's likely for me to get in a scenario related to that, but I try to lean on the side of caution. Additionally, because I had moved to a new computer in the middle of development and didn't get GIMP reinstalled for some reason (I was still a kid and had to have my dad install things via admin password), I decided to complete the rest of the graphics using Inkscape (which I did have installed for some reason.) I guess it was good to start getting into Inkscape because I would eventually employ it more in future episodes, but it does create a bit of a weird shift in the animation's appearance after a certain point. I tried to create more complex character movements for the parts where the "Santa" character approaches, which led to some mixed results. I think some animations turned out pretty decently, though other ones have some pretty obvious errors and I probably could have done them better if I made this today. Not to mention the sort of continuity issues with the character's appearance. Other visual flaws in this episode include some rather egregious examples of inconsistent aspect ratios and a bit of poor compositing. It was with this episode that I started branching out beyond recording myself flipping through an image viewer and re-recording sped-up versions of initial recordings by making use of qStopMotion to animate some parts. As the name of the software suggests, qStopMotion is primarily intended for stop motion animations as it is derived from another application called Stopmotion. However, I found it rather suitable for animating my digital images in sequences. The video quality gets a little weird in some parts, as if it's ripped from some degraded videotape or film reel. This wasn't intentional, but rather part of some weird rendering issues with the original. That original process was rather complicated as it took the effort of two different programs, Pitivi and OpenShot, to get some things the way I wanted. The renders for this version had even more problems with quality degradation, so alongside Clipchamp I had to employ the help of Blender's video editor to get a cleaner export. I didn't necessarily have time to clean everything up however. Since both of my grandmothers (the one on my dad's side and the one on my mom's side) had passed away before December of 2019, I decided to put a thing honoring them in the credits (well, after them is actually a bit more accurate, but you know what I mean.) That's all I got to say for right now. Enjoy if you would like, don't if you wouldn't like. Merry Christmas and whatever else people celebrate this month.

It's incredibly powerful brain time, imo...

Franks finds himself finding out even more shit about the case before he finds himself at Priest’s house. He admits that the location where Spinky’s car was found has him stumped and therefore he has no choice... but to get into a trance-like state and use his INCREDIBLY POWERFUL brain to solve this complex case. Thank you for watching. Frank

Seven New Episodes for Season Two... coming soon.

It was a hazy afternoon back in May 1981 when I first ever heard of a place called ‘Rendlesham Forest’. Join me as I investigate a retired RAF Pilot who claims that he and his wife were allegedly abducted by alleged aliens who later killed his wife by allegedly pushing her out of their alleged flying saucer thingy-jig. I didn’t believe a word of it, of course, and, of course, I eventually had to use my incredibly powerful brain to solve this complex case, of course. CASSANDRA COMPLEX FAN ANIMATION

When the walls start moving, it’s already too late.

A strange golden insect crawls into a bedroom on a stifling summer night. As it invades the sleeping body, the walls begin to shift and pulse — and the nightmare begins. This film was created in just two weeks, in collaboration with friends from different countries. On the surface, it unfolds like a fever dream, but beneath that, it serves as a metaphor for the experience of body dysphoria at the onset of puberty. Many trans people feel more at ease with their bodies during early childhood, before any visible traits begin to define them by sex. But as their bodies start to change, a sense of terror can emerge. The invading bug in the film symbolizes that moment when unwanted changes begin, and a cascade of complex feelings and thoughts takes over. It's about that invasion, both physical and psychological.
