BANGBANGBANG - TADC (Old animation meme)

Since it’s the spooky month I wanted to draw one of my characters doing the iconic dance. I drew some random backgrounds for the video and now I see what I should consider while drawing backgrounds yet I’m not willing to change these ones. The OST is scary swings but everyone already knows that :)

TERRERΔ - PILOT (part 2)

Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

Zee and Lisa try to log the Umibozu into their creature index, the Collectio Obscurae

The Umibozu is a giant sea beast found all over the coasts of Japan. They were thought to cause terrible storms, drowning ships and sailors. It is often depicted as a large black mass, occasionally appearing vaguely human-like. It is also thought that they would use ladles to drown entire ships.

I've decided to upload some of my older drawings and animations from the past few years, so here's my Revolutionary Girl Utena fan animation, the first animation I ever did back in 2021. Back then I didn't have a drawing tablet or animation software, so I had to draw every frame on A4 paper and scan them in one by one on the printers at my university library. Good times!

Chu-Chu does a flip - Revolutionary Girl Utena fan animation

I love to animate. I love to color too. But If I color and shade I'll have to make a background.I love animating voice syncing too and stuff. But you need voice actors you need a background artist you need people to help you. But those stuff cost money tbh. "you should learn how to make backgrounds''. I don't like to draw backgroundsif I have to study how to do backgrounds then animating wont be fun anymore. Why do I have to make backgrounds if FlashGitz and other big animators have someone making them backgrounds and a team helping them out? ANYWAY, I love to animate and I don't want to give up on it because of lack of help. So, I'll be animating uncolored animations or lineart animations every now and then. I wanted to get atleast 5 animations out this year but looks like that isn't happening lol Don't worry though, the next 3 animations I'm uploaded will be colored and have backgrounds. But i'll poop some uncolor ones every now and then=========================================================================================== The audio for the animation came from Haunted Hotel. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reels/DP_0maVkXKv/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.instagram.com/reels/DP_0maVkXKv/</a>

Ghostface Loop Animation Test

A fast paced and graphic music video animated in Aseprite.

The style was inspired initially by Flipnote studio, but then took a turn and became its own thing. Limited to 2 colors and a small resolution of 128x96 to challenge myself. Drawn entirely in Aseprite, with some rotoscoping techniques. I decided to release the video here first, so Newgrounds gets to see it before anyone else! :) This is the first track off of "In Order to Remove a Limb" our second album that was released earlier this year.Enjoy!-Bastard Feather

Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:<ul><li>Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Frizz, Jemima and Camo find a present for Ginger's birthday!

Frizz, Jemima and Camo find a present for Ginger's birthday! We have reached episode 9 everyone! Making this one took forever and felt like it wouldn't end. I had to draw a new backdrop for almost every scene, and I made some new background character designs. You may notice an error or two towards the end of the episode because I wanted to get it done with already. Animation took about 50 days to do, compared to the other episodes where they usually take about 20 - 40 days. We now have one episode left before season 1 comes to an end, I hope you're excited to see it! Cast:Camo - Corey LeVierFrizz - Kat MackayJemima - Kat MackayStore worker - Christina Roberts

Hello, I am System Unit 393AP. In this animated video essay, I describe how the 21st century Cold War is being defined not by a competition of ideological economic systems, and fought not just by conventional military strategies, but also through an accelerationist push with AI and genetic engineering technologies to redefine the essence of what a "human" will be. Factor X: Posthumanism and the Fracturing of the Liberal Order

Hey folks, been a while huh? It's been like, 30 days since my last upload. Anyway, this is what I've been working on for all that time, yes, I know the movement is a little stuttery and yes, I know my microphone is a little too quiet, I'm sorry. I'm working with MS paint and Clipchamp studio over here, and the only microphone I got is the one on my headset. That being stated, I am really proud of this animation, I think it came out pretty well despite what I was working with (and despite how lazy I am for that matter) For those who it will concern, I won't be doing any more P0stalVertig0 after this 2026. This year is the last you'll see of Benn and Larah for a while, at least in the realm of storytelling. I might draw some art of them here and there, but not as much as I used to. I've got about 3 to 4 art projects going before I go on a hiatus for the rest of the year. And on that note, on to the news. The year is almost up, just 3 more months till 2027 hits us. Overall, I'm really proud with my output, I can actually see the improvement and evolution in my art style from the start of the year to now, and I hope to keep improving. There were times where I would rush out a piece the was perhaps half-baked or just not up to par with the rest of my output simply so I could meet a made up deadline that I thought up. I don't want to do that no more, starting in 2027, my art output might slow down, and hopefully that means an improvement in my art. I want to improve my shadows, character design, backgrounds, boobs, stuff like that. With that in mind, I got something y'all might like, a new project in my mind, and not just that, 2 OF THEM TOO! The first one in store will be a continuation of my UnderDurst Yello' series. (if you have not seen that, please check it out) This time, instead of Undertale Yellow, I'm gonna plop Fred Durst off into the cozy town of Hometown, where he will meet a whole slew of new and inviting monsters, deers, birds, barney the dinosaur, OH MY! And it is in this town where he will begin another journey of death, music, comedy, and furries. Yeah, okay, enough beating around the bush, I'm parodying Deltarune, we're doing DeltaDurst. For anyone interest, just check out the banner for my Newgrounds page to get an idea of what's in store. Secondly, Backwash. In the year 2012, God came down to earth to take those worthy souls back to heaven to be spared judgement day. Finding nothing but a world conquered by sex, drugs, and violence, he brought no one back, there was not rapture, yet there was judgement. 1000 years later, in the year 3012, a man by the name of Byron Scotch finding himself transported from the past into a dark a dreary world where he must fight off a slew of animalistic super soldiers, and by some miracle, get back home. I'll only be releasing concept art in 2027 for this one. I want to plan it out a little more, but what I just told you is the basic premise. Thank you all for checking out my art, it truly means a lot to me. I hope that whatever I make is up to your standards of what you expect from me. I wish you all nothing but the best, God bless each and every one of you. The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: <a href="https://youtu.be/2xDUeHmDdMI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Super Mario Over the Years! 1</a> - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following: <ul><li>Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game</li><li>References to different Nintendo game console generations</li><li>5 cherries to give you "invincibility"</li><li>2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"</li><li>Franchise game/console codenames</li><li>A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):</li></ul>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. Hello, guys. I know that there's quite a few flaws with this animation but hopefully I will get better skill-wise soon, no bully pls. "Cirno is the coolest" Happy Cirno day Everynyan, this year i decided it would be cool to finally upload the old cirno day stuff i made to NG, This animation was the first ever video i ever uploaded when i began the Forgedmaid channel like 4 years ago, so now it will also be my first video here on NG and probably the only one for awhile cuz of copyright (i really wanted to post the campfire song song one here but alas), the other cirno animation will be posted as an art gif I remember showing this anim to my mum when i was making it and she tought i didn't know bow to draw and was coloring some else's drawing (ouch)I really hope it's noticeable just how much i improved in half a decade (Jesus it didn't feel like THAT long ago) Also [screw] youtube for cutting the right side of the video to automatically turn it into an short (there was text on the side saying "im the coolest") &gt;:[

Animatic of 2001: A Space Odyssey with the song A Human's Touch.

This is my very first animation. I drew it in the winter and spring of 2026. You can also see it on <a href="https://youtube.com/@tomzy6969?si=y5IrCPwt2I0FXAJ-" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">my YouTube channel</a>. A short fan-animated tribute to Sam Raimi's classic The Evil Dead (1981).

This is a short fan-animated tribute to Sam Raimi's classic The Evil Dead (1981).A parody of that scene where Cheryl draws a clock, and her hand starts doing... things. But what if it wasn't scary at all?Made with love by Fan Palette Garden.

Toss: Meet Drawing Tablet! - Meet the Crew Short

Been deep into tryna draw all these different hand poses and close ups for some more in detail expressions but I do still need some work on those. Been thinking again about uploading more animations based on movement and practicing camera work, using less detail and colouring and saving that kind of work for more close up animations like this one!

Bad Hair Day

Musical Animatic which based on my favorite Marilyn's song over the whole time

Due to the copyright reasons I can't show the lyrics and original audio, so I changed it to <a href="https://youtu.be/pUW49uXWd8c" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MIDI cover</a>, watch the YT version on my channel for the more experience! Well...in conclusion, it's worth saying something important: Throughout this year, while I was creating this short video series, I received various comments on Newgrounds and YouTube about how strongly my work resonates with some people who have also experienced terrible things, and for whom my work not only responded but also managed to evoke certain thoughts, for me, this is very valuable. Showing dark scenes and immersing the viewer in this harsh and triggering atmosphere in order to convey a certain idea. One such comment is more valuable than any pseudo-intellectuals from Twitter to be honest. Thanks. Despite the minor flaws, I really enjoyed working on this short clip. With this work, I want to take a long break from my PS and FNF AU. I think I've said everything I wanted through my own lens and personal experiences. Now I'll focus more on my game, which isn't related to those fandoms, (Papa's Cannibalia). Also I'll be starting college very soon, and I won't have the time to draw like I used to. But thanks to everyone who left comments under my work. It's always interesting to read, even after a year! Music: Marilyn Manson - The Nobodies. The animation was done in Callipeg. Playlist with whole PS/FNF horror stuff on NG: <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/series/558587/pico-s-school-fnf-horror-au">https://www.newgrounds.com/series/558587/pico-s-school-fnf-horror-au</a> *I also noticed a small grammatical error in the YouTube version: "Somebodies" was "Sombodies." My apologies in advance.

A short animatic/animation of Gianni and Cordelia

(Audio is from <a href="https://youtu.be/EaAPaJDbyoE&amp;t=47" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">outtakes from Black Butler II</a> with both Michael Tatum and Brina Palencia) I started this while sleep deprived almost two weeks ago and while this was just going to be a quick bit about how while I draw during a stream I looked up to just see Cordelia, I could not tell you what possessed me to lock in and not only animate something, but also shade it While I'm happy with it, it also took forever, so even though I've been released from whatever fugue state I was in to return to Romeul bullshit don't expect him to be buttery smooth [Also, as a side thing, I think it's immensely ironic that Michael Tatum is not only in two Yana Toboso created anime but that he voices entirely opposite ends as a hypercompetent demon butler (Black Butler) and a severely incompetent headmaster who just delegates bullshit onto his students (Disney: Twisted-Wonderland The Animation)]
