Facing Myself — An Original Audiovisual Artwork

hey guys! Just testing Rotoscope with a silly animation, i hope you enjoy!

Sup guys, Edd here! Or just Duda. (i love say this) so here's my shorten animation, i wanna just test the "Rotoscope" but i made bettter, with a funny, lazy and silly animation, is not the perfect video, but i guess it's cool. Idk, just enjoy and blablabla...

Can you turn in a Rotoscope?

a traditional animation; complex loops are one of my favorite ways to work with and teach animation, so i found a way of turning those into a short and exploring all the noise that accumulates. 24 sheets of paper. color correction and camerawork in Blender, sound in Ardour, final export from Kdenlive

Unraveling

This is a very short funny little video that I just made in only a few days because why not. I was sort of inspired by the style of Stephen Hillenburg's old college films from Cal arts after watching a first part of a documentary about him. so, I was trying to be a little experimental with my animations just like him. Enjoy!

The Explosive Chain-Smoking Grandma

music video i made for my band. half animated, half live action

music video i created for one of my band's songs. here's the 4k upload on youtube to preserve some of the dark information. youtube compression still sucks though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjhyHgUvXVA the first half was created in Blender 2.79 for that proper old Blender Render look. then, i ran it through my VCR and recorded it onto VHS, then did that 4 times for generation loss. the second half was shot with a Canon C100 Mark II with a Super-Takumar 55mm f1.8 and Kollmorgen-Kosaka 2x anamorphic adapter. it was edited and graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio 21. music was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Ableton Live 11.

NETSCAPE NOMADS

Uploaded on YouTube a year ago, I intended to use Newgrounds but forgot about it. However there's no time like the present! This is an animated album that I began to conceive the idea of back in 2022 and worked on throughout 2023-2024. The (loose) concept is about the surprising turns life can take and not knowing where you can end up. https://www.nathmusic.co.uk/

The Somewhere Lottery

A short animation I've made for university to experiment with After Effects' tools

So... time to upload a bunch of projects from University! This was the first work I have made finally using After-Effects, which at least for now, it didn't seem that much different from Adobe Premiere, which I have been using for many years... Anyway, the project was about animating a 30 second short that HAD to begin and end with the following frames respectively, as a way to connect our segment with the ones form our classmates: First frame: Last frame: Alongside that, the animation had to correlate with the audio provided by the teacher at the beginning of the test, and had to be about a key word (which in my case was "camarita").And... that's all I can comment about this really... hope you like it!

Citadel! Citadel!

IM FINALLY BACK, I was really itching to get out of my slump and make something so I made this. Yes I am aware that @bryanv made an augueably better animation of this bit which you should totally check out btw. This was just something I made just so I could finally get back into the dark arts of animation, and truth be told I went through a lot of frustrations while making this I was dealing with school, my FLA file corrupted on me, and I was quite depressed, which is why it took as long as it did. And before any final words, I just want to make it abundently clear that this is absolutely not the best I can do, I am very aware that I can do much better, this was just an experiment just to get back into the game. I dont know what im going to make next, I might experiment with toon boom, I might branch out and make something experimental; who knows! But in the mean time Im gonna be chillin' peace out fellas <3

A day with my cousin Beni

Small experimental animation project I did for a class Spring 2025. You may recognize it's characters from Screwypilled Tooncels as at this point in time a lot of ideas for that series were starting to come together. I was working on test animation and writing Rick's Demon Dilemma so River, Styx and Lavathorn appearing here was my way of previewing them to people. Likewise, you can see a Hellhound from Hellhounds, and Fuzzy and Fluffy from Fuzzy and Fluffy, who first appeared in a 3D animation project. You can tell I was really starting to plant the seeds for my future work here. This was actually a part of a VR installation where people could watch it in a virtual world and it was projected up drive-in style. My professor was kind of a zealot for all this dumb techy gimmick stuff that I can't even begin to understand I just wanted to make silly cartoons. My pitch for this was Roger Rabbit meets FNAF. It's actually called Liminal Locust, in reference to the name of the warehouse the final exhibition took place(some of the photos here are even from the warehouse) but obviously that doesn't make too much sense out of the building. And let me tell you, that night was PAINFUL. They focused on our VR work for like 30 minutes max and the rest of the night was devoted to listening to these awful ''experimental'' musicians who were just screeching and playing noise from a box, I was laughing so hard and holding onto my friend for dear life. Other Weirdcore Toons art Watch on the 'Tube

Weirdcore Toons(2025)

An experimental, surreal 2D animation with a VHS texture. The piece follows a bizarre yell

A normal day with GraveGirth

What if the ill and sick were the ones with true power?

"In a not so far future, humanity was found by Advanced alien races from this galaxies and others far far away from ours, ravaged by horrific mistakes milennia ago... What simply began as cooperative and benevolent negotiations quickly escalated into something darker, something unethical, The creation of the Freaks. The sick, the ill, the disabled. All those who seemed weak and useless were given a great power and a purpose...As weapons, as tools. Deep below the surface of a distant planet, the story of 4 Rouge freaks began. Their strife for freedom and to return home will spark a fight even bigger than themselves. What will follow is not a story of heroes saving the day, this is a story of the defiance, resistance and endurace from those who refused their fate as monsters of those who will bleed for a city that has bled for them as well. This is the story of The Alger freaks." (This is a short film i made in AE earlier in college (Mid 2025) so yeah, the artwork is a bit outdated...But! it is still loyal to the idea of the freaks and the ill!) (Hope y'all like it : )

....is a complicated thing... ...you can't wash it off in the shower...

Decided to put something together for the Portal. Had to basically problem solve throughout the whole process as I've never used most of the software in this, nor clay, nor even done much photography. Not experimental because I want to be experimental, experimental because I'm literally experimenting with all of this.

“Okay so uhhh hi everyone, I’m just an everyday loser who does everyday loser stuff. One day I was epicly breaking into some poor grandma’s house where I found this vhs tape of “The Slur Slugs” cartoon in a box that says PLEEEEEASE DO NOT OPEN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! which seemed more like a suggestion than a demand. But while I watched this, I remembered this airing on TV when I was a little kid! I was watching my favorite show tadc where Jax had a baby until suddenly the video crashed out and started playing a bunch of weird videos about the fnaf pizzeria, Mandela Catalog, and even some urbanspook paintings, an employee training tape like I was watching the Walten Files in here, even Toy Story showed up at some point. It was easily the spookiest thing I’ve ever seen in my life and I even had a heart attack it was so frightening!!!! So here I am in the hospital rn after recovering this whole vhs and spending it on YouTube, I hope other people get a kick out of how creepy and spooky and scary this is so my sacrifice was not in vein! This totally isn’t a big parody of analog horror videos and their cliches and how funny they are, that would be ridiculous!! Heh….yeah…. ANYWAYS, ENJOY WATCHING!” -Anthony Hi Connor here! This video was very experimental since me and a friend thought this would be a funny idea. So after a few delays it’s FINALLY finished!
