Kassen from Out of Placers becoming other creatures from the webcomic!

"What ze FEK?!" - Kassen, probably. An Out-Of-Placers fan animation! A retro anime style animation of a yinglet (a bird-rodent creature) waving her tail idly, before being splashed by a strange green liquid that turns her into a large dinosaur-like woman, then a bug-girl, and finally a burrowing armoured worm creature. All while a speech bubble with his face shows the blonde-haired Ran is very excited, saying: "This new Antiquity is astonishing! Don't you agree, Kassen?" in yellow subtitles. 💜 I drew this live on Twitch!💜 Check me out in other places too!

A new Antiquity! [OOPs Animation]

At first glance, Angry Birds is absurd: small, round creatures with no arms, no real strategy, and an unwavering commitment to being launched at high velocity into architectural malpractice. It looks like chaos for the sake of chaos. But sit with it for a moment, and it starts to feel less like a game and more like a quiet philosophical confession. The birds are angry, yes—but their anger is focused. Purposeful. They do not rage randomly at the sky or at each other. Their fury is aimed, quite literally, toward structures that symbolize theft, imbalance, and fragile power. The pigs hide behind walls of wood, stone, and glass, believing that complexity equals security. And for a while, they’re right. The towers stand. The pigs laugh. Power appears stable. Then the birds fly. Each bird is an argument. The red bird is brute persistence: the belief that force alone can still mean something. The blue birds split themselves apart, suggesting that adaptability—becoming more than one thing when the moment demands it—is a form of intelligence. The yellow bird accelerates midair, a reminder that timing matters as much as direction. Even the black bird, who destroys itself to destroy others, asks an uncomfortable question: Is sacrifice meaningful if it guarantees change? You never launch all the birds at once. You wait. You measure angles. You accept failure. Often, the first attempt collapses nothing. The second only weakens a beam. Progress arrives not as triumph, but as cracks—tiny, satisfying signs that systems built on greed and shortcuts were never as solid as they appeared. And the pigs? They are not evil masterminds. They are complacent. They grin. They assume the past will protect them. Their downfall is not caused by genius villains, but by persistence from creatures who refuse to stop caring. In the end, Angry Birds isn’t about destruction. It’s about pressure. About how enough small, determined actions—aimed with intention—can bring down structures that seem immovable. It’s about the idea that anger, when shaped by purpose, becomes agency. The birds don’t ask if the tower deserves to fall. They simply line up, one by one, and prove that it can. Pawns and Pieces is a claymation project I began working on in 2022. I came up with the premise for the film shortly after completing Clash of the Clay back in 2020, initially titled "Clash of the Clay 2". After making A Grand Day for Fishing in 2021, this project became my centre focus of that year, through to 2022. As I developed the idea, it became more complex than the Clash of the Clay sequel I had planned. The film was to follow a chess game, the queens of either side playing to impress a mysterious creature that lives inside one of the vases of the table (the lizard-like green thing sitting in the brass goblet), with the gormless pawns and pieces going along with it, the greatest threat to the game and the entertainment of the green thing being the friendship of the White and Red Kings. The game I chose to base my story on was Game 15 of Spassky vs Fischer 1972 - the reason for this being that in order for the third act to work, I needed a game that ended on a draw with all of the kings and queens in tact. You can view the game here and compare the movements to that in the film: https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044730 What you see here is the second act of the film, mostly animated and partially storyboarded. The first and third act were never animated, but the former was fully storyboarded. The reason I began with the second act first is because (on paper) it moved at a nice slow pace, which would allow me to ease myself into the more complex parts of the film. It was also the seemingly shortest of the three! Production was halted to work on my final University project; The Curse of Dracular. I had planned to continue working on it afterwards, but it became evident that the idea I had developed was far too large for me to complete on my own - the second act of the film coming to around ten minutes, which was only partially animated and the rest left to an animatic. In the middle of 2023, the company that produces the plasticine I use (Newclay), also announced their closure, and I’d still need tons of the stuff to complete my film (still have a bulk load knocking about somewhere, though). This spanner in the works allowed me to take a step back, evaluate the uphill battle this project was going to be, and accept that I would not be able to complete it. So for now, it is shelved. Initially I was very sad about this as I felt I had come up with some great scenes and gags that would never be brought to life, along with many sketchbooks filled with concept art and storyboards. However, I now appreciate this little venture as a great learning curve; sculpting and animating more detailed characters, prop-making and animating walk cycles. I’m sure elements of this film will also be reused in future projects. Perhaps down the line I might even reboot it with a team of people to refine it and finally get it completed! Getting this thing posted is long, LONG overdue, but getting it out there is a weight off my shoulders. I hope you enjoy! Additional music provided by Musopen.

[Letter from the External Species Diplomacy] To Successor Nick...Here is the response to your inquiry regarding "The Dietary Habits of Orcs." As you are aware, Orcs primarily consume meat.Their appetite often cannot be satisfied with livestock like cows and pigs, nor even with monstrous beasts. It seems that if something has legs, they will try to eat it—perhaps with the exception of tables... or maybe not. Recently, we have discovered that they consider green insects, often found in dark, shadowy forests, to be a delicacy.Yes, those very bugs you sometimes spot in the gloom of dense woods. Four legs may not have been enough for them—can you imagine deciding to eat such creatures?Their boldness (or, more aptly, their foolishness) astonished our research team. Their savage and crude dietary habits, as you are well aware, also include humans. As you well know, multiple incidents involving Orcs are reported each year. “Know your enemy and know yourself, and you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles.” We appreciate your curiosity and dedication to understanding the ecology of your adversaries. - External Species Diplomacy Dept. a silly project I did for school. Audio is a WIP until I get access to recording room :P

So I made this as a final project for school. While making a portfolio, I began to build a world where humanity gets its stuff stuff together and develops better. With the earth now sustainable, magical influences return. With magic's return, humankind and the androids they developed now share a world full of spirits, demons, and all sorts of creatures. Goose is from an unknown origin and is only interested in the rare and unique artifacts found across the realms. It just so happens that he reaches green earth. Wouldn't you know it, the museum is displaying some old relics of long ago wars.

Nybal voices his concern for the future to Cyran under their new leader, Rastor.

Been on an original charcater content kick lately. There's no vocal lines in this animation. This is what i've been working on all June. Characters: https://toyhou.se/mansa1212/characters/folder:4517993If you do want to know the story basically:Rastor (Old goat man) is the leader of the town and Nybal (green main character) is the choosen guardian. The island they live on is kept healthy and alive by the crystal core of the world. Crystals in my world are powerful sources of energy that can be absored, distributed or used to destory even the most powerful of deities. Rastor for decades had been planning to take the crystals for himself, by doing that it can kill all of the island's life, but would make him one of the most powerful beings to exist. Nybal as the guardian is the only person on the island who can communicate with the other crystal guardian and visit the heart of the island's cavern through a physical and mental state. Due to the status of both, Nybal must obey Rastor's commands to protect their town and the people of the island. Nybal was tricked by Rastor, he had a tenebrous crystal which he used to suck out the darkness/shadow out of Nybal. Creating a new shadow enitity of Nybal known as Labyn (purple dude). Because it is still technially him, the role of guardian still belongs to even that of Labyn. Rastor uses Labyn against his will to enter the heart of the island and the danger of this plan had Nybal alert Cyran (the deer guardian). The rest of it is more symbolic than literal, but yeah.Oh yeah btw because Labyn is Nybal's shadow the only way to kill him is to kill Nybal. Note: Tenebrous are ancient creatures created by the darkness in their hearts, if someone experiences uncontrollable amounts of negative emotions to where it eventually engulf the person then they turn into a pure being of darkness knonw as a tenebrous. Mainly characterized by black eyes, spikes, dull or grey colors, impulsive behavior, void of light, uncontrolable anger. These creatures live in misery and constant emotional pain if not reformed. Tenebrous and their opposing speices Luminous each had their own kinds of crystals.

Good morning to you!

Alpha-Nuva returns to the world of Madness.

EDIT 9/24: Thanks for the awesome reviews and the Daily 4th guys! And thanks to Tom for the frontpage. Really satisfied with how this all turned out. **Please Submit to Madness Collection** Worked 4-5 months on this. Probably one of the fastest toons I've whipped out. Enjoy. **SPOILER WARNING**:
Murkier trivia about movie:
-Red syringes causes chemical alterations (mutations).
-Green syringes reverse mutations and revive.
-The crab-beast was a mutated agent killed behind the glass.
-The plant creature was the agent with white glasses who kept returning.
-Red glasses signify weak agents.
-Green glasses signify moderate agents and have the ability to give the wearer nightvision.
-Black glasses signify advanced agents. These agents have permission to seal off doors.
-Yellow glasses signify elite agents and have the ability to manipulate any agent of lower status.
-Orange glasses signify prison guards and have the ability to give the wearer enhanced strength.
-The prisoner shot the agent with the yellow glasses because he manipulated him.
-The agent who allies with the protagonist only joins him because he threatened him.
-The protagonist's mission was to save the prisoner and blow up the facility. He knew he was a time bomb and he knew he was going to die at the end.
-There were 71 kills overall.
-There will be a sequel. I also have a character sheet located here: http://alpha-nuva.newgrou nds.com/news/post/520648
