A mysterious cybernetic warrior awakens after centuries to begin a new mission.

Skorn is a short motion-comic series I created as a personal project while learning animation, editing and visual storytelling. The story follows a legendary warrior who vanished long ago and awakens in the modern world under mysterious circumstances. As he uncovers his new purpose, old skills and ancient conflicts begin to resurface.Looking back, I can already see things I'd improve today, but I'm still proud of these episodes and wanted to share them as part of my creative journey. These episodes were originally created in January 2026 and first released on YouTube. I completed three episodes, although I had a much larger story planned.I'd love to hear what you think!

Skorn Episode 2

A new host is introduced and the contestants collect moon rocks.

Originally posted January 18, 2026. YouTube Description: 3rd episode, already?!?!?! In all seriousness this was so painful to animate that I am glad I am done. There is a new co-host in town, Eye! He was originally going to be in the 1st episode, but that was the second iteration/idea for Geo! This show is number 3, and the only one to actually have any episodes. But now, here he is, in full glory. He is voiced by my sister<a href="https://www.youtube.com/@StayGoldPonyboyStayGold1965" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">‬</a>, who now voices both hosts. Yay! Also the quality of the video is bad, which I apologize for. The file for the video was too large, so I had to shrink it down. Tbh it makes the video have a certain... charm.

Geo! 3: This Episode Is About Moon Rocks

I started working on this back in January of 2025, when I was younger (and stupider) and I ended up scrapping it mid-2026. I still have plans for the fox, and I have other works planned, with slightly better animation quality and slightly tweaked character design

KARO NOTES:HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE DONKEY KONG COUNTRY TV SHOW!! This cartoon took alot of different changes over the time it was being made, and the first couple parts were done in January (hence I added back the PINGtreon supporters from that month) This was initially meant to be a collection of skits based on the show like my previous DK vid, until the Rasslin' idea came to me. Most the production time went to that, so for something simpler, I dug up some of my previous cartoons, and had K.Rool intrude them. Adds to the main theme of this more, that way. This is my biggest production yet in terms of the length, and that's largely because of the rasslin' part with King Koopa, which I liked because it gave K. Rool the shot to earn legit respect as opposed to trying to take respect by force. Not to say he won't take both methods, still. Just the kinda croc he is. Also not gonna turn down the opportunity to dunk on Nu DK a lil' as well. The music track I used for K. Rool's Takeover is called "Afterburner", a Nelvana stock track from "Rock Smackdown" of Nelvana's stock music library. Composed by Paul Koffman and Timothy Foy, as is the other music used in the show. There was a second song I had planned for this using another Koffman/Foy track, but couldn't fit in, so I'll have to save it for something in the future with the Kongs. This mocap monkey show means the world to me, so I'm glad I could get something like this done and out for the 30th anniversary. ~KARO '26 TO JOIN THE PILLOWFORT► <a href="https://patreon.com/CountessKARO" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://patreon.com/CountessKARO</a> WHERE ELSE TO FIND ME►<a href="https://countesskaro.carrd.co/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://countesskaro.carrd.co/</a> STORE►<a href="https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/</a>

KING K. ROOL'S KRUEL KARTOONS

After dying, a cat must get used to the peculiarities of existing without a body.

The Amazing Story of the Phantom Cat is an animated short that I wrote, animated, and scored between December 2022 and April 2023. It was my first experience making a 2D animated short, so it was a cascade of challenges that turned into countless learning experiences.I made the animation using Krita. Hours and hours of drawing, erasing, and drawing all over again. I had already composed the music long before, but I arranged it specifically for this short, trying to understand the logic of timing and repetition in animation, using LMMS.I was lucky enough to have some great ghostly friends—José Haidar, Marcelo Cáceres, Agustina Conti, and Daniela Barrionuevo—lend their voices to the narration and characters.I hope you enjoy The Amazing Story of the Phantom Cat! Beyond the joy of bringing this project to life, this short film allowed me to connect with incredible people from the world of animation, mainly through its participation in film festivals. In October 2023, The Amazing Story of the Phantom Cat was screened at FAN – Festival Audiovisual de Neuquén (Argentina), as part of the Official Selection of National Animated Shorts. In December 2023, it was also part of the Official Selection of Animated Shorts at AnimaVerso Festival, held in Florianópolis (Brazil). In January 2024, it was screened in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia) as part of EDO 2024, and in May of the same year, it was screened at Anima Latina in Buenos Aires, Argentina.I never imagined the cat would get to visit so many places. SINKING ROAD | INDIE ANIMATED MOVIE

I was losing my marbles when animating this, and a documentary was made to prove that fact

While working for Invader Zim: Lost and Found, this piece of animation took me from January 24 to April 8, 2026 to get it done. However, it's not just me who worked on this. CreditsBackground + Editing: Flamgo's Crashpad<blockquote><a href="https://youtube.com/@flamgoscrashpad?si=1VYr7wuwaSnUdLgt" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Flamgo's Crashpad</a></blockquote> Nick's Voice Actor: Bryce BarrettCharacter Animation + Table: HEC-Z The only reason it took me longer to upload it was due to also wanting to make this lil video to show what it went through during its production (I finally have free time, the focus, and drive to make it). However, it's not just this scene alone.<blockquote><a href="https://youtu.be/NJLDVHK5_Fk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Squishy: Hugger of Worlds | What I've Done Behind The Scenes</a></blockquote> The inspiration for the thumbnail is Saul Bass's movie poster for Bonjour Tristesse. That's all for now!Yours truly,-HEC-Z-

I created this in January 2025 as part of my "A new year of youtube each day" and this was the 2006 upload ✩you can check out the full series on my youtube channel although im not trying to market lmao This is a "parody"?? (i think) of <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/285267">https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/285267</a>It was pretty silly to do and has tons of errors but there's something beautiful about that imprefection ♡ I decided to upload it here because I have no idea why I didn't when I created it, it's still work I've done and represents my qualityless silly content xD

Jaiden’s Bitesize Hobbies - Conspiracy Boards (SNEAK PEEK)

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying #IndieAnimationDay so far, and all the Sneak Peeks / Showcases / Previews of all the RAD &amp; EXCITING Animations by all the Fabulous Indie Creators! (I know there’s a bunch of Animated Shorts &amp; Series I’m looking forward to seeing more of!!) For the Past 8-9 Months, I have been working away on trying to create a New Animated Short, one that I would (Hopefully) like to become something bigger on my channel and that project is… JAIDEN’S BITESIZE HOBBIES • SYNOPSIS: “Jaiden’s Bitesize Hobbies” is a Character-Focused, Slice-of-Life Anthology, delving deeper into glimpses of the Day-to-Day Hobbies &amp; Activities between our Main Duos - Jaiden &amp; Kianna and Byron &amp; Sabrina, including others like Brenda and Eleisiya, as they find themselves in plenty of hijinx, such as pulling an All-Nighter to fall down a Conspiracy Rabbit Hole, catching themselves a Billy Bass by the Harbor Side, or getting too hopped up with Caffeine during a Basketball Game in the Park. • The Series is Based on My Self-Produced Comic Series - Jaiden’s Wildlife Journey (Available for Purchase via the Link Below)- (<a href="https://ko-fi.com/s/5ebd202364" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://ko-fi.com/s/5ebd202364</a>) ——— Storyboards have been COMPLETED Since January, Voice Recording has been COMPLETED Since May, and I am Almost Half-Way Completed with Animation on the First Short, even though that’s a ton of progress made, Animation is still Very Time-Consuming to create… and since I am the Sole-Animator behind this Project, and have conventions planned for the Fall/Autumn like IN-MOTION (London), THOUGHT BUBBLE (Yorkshire) &amp; INKBLOT (Manchester)… I’m not able to get “CONSPIRACY BOARDS” ready for the Initial Mid-Late Fall Release (as it is a 4-Minute Mini-sode, and i’ve only just finished nearly the First Minute / ACT I); but I have simultaneously been working on a “Shorter Mini-sode” (1-Minute) that I’ve gotten (1/3) completed, so that’ll take over the Mid-Late Fall Slot! The Other Mini-sode titled: TABLE FOOTBALL - As they both wait for their refreshment orders to come back, Jaiden notices that there’s something playing on Kianna’s Mind… so to help take her edge off, she suggests they practice playing Table Football to pass the time. ——— While it may take longer to see the release of these Animated Projects - like “Jaiden’s Bitesize Hobbies”, Please be sure to follow the Official Instagram Page over <a href="https://jaidensbitesizehobbies.newgrounds.com">@jaidensbitesizehobbies</a> for More Updates on the series! WAITING

A supervillan uses his measures at his hand to try to search for his nemesis!

ooohhh boy, another school project uploaded hereeereuhhh... anyways, made for my Pipeline and Product Fundamentals class in CCAD during my sophomore year. Uhhh... this one was a bit of a ball buster to do, not only was this was first time doing an animation with multiple scenes rather than just... one, but also this initially started as a 12 (then downsized to 9) page script that took a month to write, and ended up being way longer than I had anticipated it being. It all made this a bit of pain to do while juggling other assignments (+ frequent desires to take a break for once... and play RE9 lul), thus this wasn't actually done when it was due (which was actually expected)... but took over a whole ass week afterwards to finish it up and uh after nearly 200 hours... now it's here! Idea wise, it was initially made right after I rewatched James Gunn's Superman from last year back in January (alongside some smaller things), thus some inspiration struck and it lead to this. VO quality is also a little inconsistent as it was recorded with two different mics, a decent condenser mic I've had for about 6 years, and my school's audio recording studio (which used Adobe Audition... which I have zero clue how to use), as I wasn't confident about my dorm room's acoustics for the line or two where I screamed n shit lol. Animated using Toon Boom Harmony Premium, backgrounds done in Adobe Photoshop 2025 (when working in classrooms) &amp; Clip Studio Paint (when working at home), and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 Music: "Archimedes" &amp; "Dreams of Cruelty" from Team Fortress 2, intentionally bad superhero MIDI trumpet thing by me. <a href="https://youtu.be/pkX3hUO7GdI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Behind The Scenes on my second YouTube channel!</a> Socials:<a href="https://bsky.app/profile/smitty462.bsky.social" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BlueSky</a><a href="http://twitter.com/smitty462" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Twitter</a><a href="https://www.instagram.com/smitty_462/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a><a href="https://www.youtube.com/@smitty462" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YouTube</a><a href="https://smitty462-stuff.tumblr.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tumblr</a>

Koalafied - Kenny's Big Presentation

This is seventh episode of Roasted Meatloaf, made in 2023 just like the previous one. This is also shortest and simplest of the episodes, clocking in at less than a minute as opposed to previous shorter episodes that at least lasted a little more than a minute thanks to their outro segments. This episode addresses the fact that the sixth episode skips straight to April Fools day from New Year's (the theme of the fifth episode.) It kind of prioritizes the fact that I skipped Valentine's Day, though it also mentions some other ones. I'm not really sure why I skipped from January to April, but whatever. Maybe plots for those holidays would have been too hard to think of? I guess at least it allowed me to take a break from porting episodes. The lines for the main episode were recorded all in one take. The dialogue that plays in the outro also was recorded all in one take, albeit a different take than the main episode. I probably could've thought of a better name for this episode, but whatever. Like the previous episode, the outro for this edition is now done using Blender, though Clipchamp was still consulted for some stuff. I actually hadn't typed out any credits into Clipchamp this time before switching the edition's development to Blender, but there was a weird audio syncing issue that I had kind of consulted the Clipchamp version to fix, so I guess that earns it a spot in the credits. The animation here, as opposed to previous episodes, was primarily handled by qStopMotion and did not involve screen-recording myself flipping through an image viewer. Thus, no screen recorder or image viewer is in the credits. Since pretty much the only audio here is dialogue, nothing had to be replaced for copyright reasons. However, I did still slightly tweak the audio's volume to make it a bit more audible in some parts. I think it was during development on the Newgrounds Edition of this episode that I realized I forgot to put the "Thanks for watching!" card in the previous episode's Newgrounds Edition. Oops. I guess that's all I to address about this episode here. Watch and enjoy if you'd like, or watch and not enjoy, or just not watch. Up to you.

A tribute for Towno’s old object camp and hiatus-Bfdi era

My first complete animation in a long time!Taking from January to March to complete… 2 minutes. But even then I’m really proud of this! This is meant as a tribute to TownoYT ‘s “show” or camp Battle for Replica island. Which I remember watching as a young lad back in the day. I Mostly remember the final few episodes 5B to 8B(which 8B is currently gone) I always get really nostalgic over the Bfdia-hiatus era of the OSC and I thought doing a fan animation for this long forgotten camp would be nice to visit back to it! Not to mention easy I did add some new characters here as this is based on a reboot concept, which honestly I regret leaving out TV, Roboty, Tree, Magnifying Glass and Spikey Mervert but oh well I hope in the future I can do more animations and take less time on themshort under a minute to 3 minutes to maybe one day even more Thank you! The power of Great Days

Male jester booba for your enjoyment pleasure.

After I wrapped GAL SHXXXT back in August, I set out to make a (not-so) vaguely homoerotic song for my own tastes-- by September, "Benny the Jester" was unleashed to YouTube. While the song had a slow start, since December/January it has surpassed Sewerslidal Idol as my most successful original; It currently has 5,278 views at the time I'm uploading this (Fun fact, it also took 78 days for BTJ to breach 2k views, while it took 228 days for SSI to reach 2k!). With it's relative success, I figured it was time to bring it to Newgrounds. I mean hey, at least a FEW people here have got to appreciate big-chest jester man, right? This time, the lyrics were written in Japanese; I am HARDLY fluent in the language, so I had a LOOOOT of help from hocho-knife-cutters, massive kudos to them! As for the artwork, that's courtesy of <a href="https://misterpanncake.newgrounds.com">@MisterPanncake</a> on Twitter, who I discovered from Vane Lily's "DEVIL KICKBACK" (itself a large impetus to write a sexed-up song with this voicebank). ENGLISH LYRICS: My name's Benny the Jester.Would you like me to entertain you?How do I earn my daily living, you ask?By making the king laugh, of course. Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la~I'm happy to make a fool out of myself like thisFa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la~After all, this kingdom will be mine soon! (Yahho~!) I don't think this place is as fun or colorful as it could be...So, wouldn't it be great if it all became a Jester's World? Spinning, spinning, take control; The kingdom's going to belong to meNo time for some dull-ass square of a king, no no no!A blue and white motley, the power of laughter sure is greatIdiots rule the world already, so why not kick it up a notch?I don't need a queen, my true love is a crazy night. But if you're funny, then you can come closer, darlingThe ringing of the final bell echoes through the castle hallsWhen I'm the king, everyone's gonna have fun! My name's Benny the Jester.Did my yellow eyes petrify you just now?I specialize in the art of trompe l'oeilHehehe, the plan's moving along as intended Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la~I wonder how I'd look in a crown?Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la~Taking my seat on a jester-styled throne I must be patient, I must stay on trackGood fortune comes to those who wait, it will be mine soonSo, I'll diligently apply my face paintCause in just one month, I'll make my grand debut If you believe in what I believe, laugh and dance aroundEVERYONE in my land will say "Ah, Mr. Jester, I love you, I need you~~!!!" Exciting, isn't it? A great political restructuring!Who's the big top dog of it all? ✧I-T-S M-E✧It's showtime until the job's done, so go ahead and get the popcorn!Snacks are a must for fun scenes like this~Ah, it's close enough to grab, ah, it's close enough to tasteA jester's victory has such a sweet taste, so let's all dig in~!Do-re-mi-fa-so, listen up, everyone! This is a jester's endgame song! When the music stops, I'll have everything I want! Spinning, spinning, take control; The kingdom's going to belong to meNo time for some dull-ass square of a king, no no no!A blue and white motley, the power of laughter sure is greatIdiots rule the world already, so why not kick it up a notch?Oh god, I'm feeling sick, oh god, I'm feeling greatEither which way, this mission HAS to be seen throughSomeone, help me, I'm totally losing my mind!I'm so lost in excitement I just can't stop laughing!
