Whaddup, it's been a minute. I already wrote my thoughts on the longer break down in the recent patreon post I made, so I'll only talk about the animation itself here. I really fucking struggled with this one! (evidently) This is definitely one of the more challenging animations I've done so far despite technically being so simple (conceptually). One big issue I had is that I want to be able to trust my own roughs, so I've started putting extra time into them - which raised the bar for what I'm happy with as early as the roughs stage now, which in turn means I spend like 4 times the amount of time on the whole thing that I usually would've.I also tried out some tricks to raise the fidelity of the shading by doing the full blockout cel shading frame by frame, then erasing it in certain spots to give a softer look. I'm quite happy with how it turned out overall, definitely worth the effort. More coming soon as before, hopefully without a 2 month gap this time. Peace-Burst

'Andrew in Drag' by Magnetic Fields with my OCs

This is not a test. This is an application of what I've learned in Toonsquid so far. It's small, but it's cute!

Lacey in drag

I made this because I wanted to test Toonsquid.

I'm mainly posting this here because I am seeking constructive criticism and advice from other Toonsquid users. I also want to make my animatics look good, so if you have tips, I'd love them.

Another animation of the bunny girl, this time from behind!

I'm still new to the whole animation bussiness to there are errors I can see but slowly learning how to animate using Spine2D and After effects! It's been fun so far. This is a closeup of the previous animation of the bunny girl. This slime seems to be a bit more evolved than the other one! I have another idea I want to pursue, I might make a tiny comic for that one as well! Is there anyway to upload more than 1 video in a project?

The Dungeon - Slime closeup

An animation of my bunny girl riding a slime

I have a small concept in my head and I will be working on getting it out of my system through animation. Here's a bigger blurb that wouldn't fit in that page I really need to come up with a better name than The Dungeon haha but it's whatever for now. Slimes are a common enemy in The Dungeon and can be found at any level of exploration, any biome although its appearance may differ depending on what it has consumed thus far. It is a creature that envelops itself in a gelatinous substance in order to protect its fragile core. Its only care in the world is to consume and grow in order to protect itself. More often than not a slime will remain at its primary stage as it cannot procure enough materials or minerals in a timely manner in order to evolve, but the ones that stumble upon differing types of lucky finds (forgotten storages, defeated adventurers that carry many different types of ingredients, treasure chests, etc) are able to use the excess minerals in order to create a new shape for themselves. The shape they evolve to be is not consistent and it depends on many factors such as what they’ve eaten, environmental traits and obstacles etc but they all consume in the same way as illustrated below. One consistent thing is the way that they consume. For example, a mace lodged in a slime from an adventurer that succumbed to the slime's attacks. The slime will use the next few days, sometimes weeks, to dissolve the mace in the weak acid found within the gelatine. The slime can speed up the process by moving its body and agitating the object to create more friction between it and its “flesh”, however this takes a tremendous amount of energy and most slimes prefer to go about their business, letting their protection take care of the process

【MMD】Spore MOD Showcase: World Is Mine - Supercell/Ryo ft. Hyacynthia

Happy Mother's Day and Maid Day! Free Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Rojava, Ukraine and all colonized people! Welcome back with another creation remake, this time we have Lady Hyacynthia, the MILF Hyacinth Fae, demonstrating the stackable lower jaw part that works with my new dance animations! Note: This isn't MMD, this is all in Spore! The human lower jaw here was made with dark injection parts, and is not a custom mouth. This is a new techniques that create a new "lower jaw" rigblock that animates with the mouth during animation. This work by aligning the mouth and the lower jaw on the same point. Additionally, here, I demonstrate the full facial animation she can do! Tell me what you think in the comments!
