The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: Super Mario Over the Years! 1 - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following:

Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game

References to different Nintendo game console generations

5 cherries to give you "invincibility"

2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"

Franchise game/console codenames

A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. Super Mario Over the Years! 2

Zoey picked a bad day to go out in nothing but body paint and a pair of shoes

Zoey decided to be a bit of an exhibitionist and went outside in nothing but a pair of shoes and some body paint. I'm personally not a big fan of body paint so let's summon some rain to take care of it. I'm using some of the unused voice lines from the recent leak Left 4 Dead content. This might be the first F-bomb dropped in one of my videos. I was so taken aback by that line that I just HAD to use it somewhere.

Longest Amgry Burds animation yet!!!! 10 whole amgry minutes!!! wow!!!

One day Kimg Big bought a secret hidden pomni videotape from a strange salesman in a back alley, aaaand let's just say THINGS got crazy..... there were no w goons.... just a shitty pg animated funslop movie!!!! bleurgh!!!! disgusting! I guess he'll have to HATEWATCH the whole movie then.... whatever.... Rod meets Liver who's hoaxpreg and uuuuuuuurrrrghhhh im so boreeeedddddd FUCKKKKK Some of you might wondering: Samusplat, why would you possibly feel the need to make a 10 minute long Amgry Burds animation???? are you stupid!!!! crazy even!!!!! But no dear viewer who's TOTALLY reading this! okay actual serious commentary here, i'm planning on making my very own indie pilot soon, i've even made a full blown script for it, so before making it i wanted to test the waters by seeing if i could even be able to pull off a longer animation than usual, and what would be the perfect occasion than to make one based on the upcoming Angry Birds movie 3!!! Seriously why are they making a third one. no seriously what the hell.I think for the time being this might as well be my magnum opus, really proud of how everything in this one came out, including all the fantastic voice performances from all the wonderful people that i got to voice act in this! an all time record of like 6 people! wowie!!!! i had so much fun doing these little animations! But i'd have to admit that working for an entire month on this animation DID burn me out a little bit, so don't expect anything big in anytime soon, besides a birthday animation for one of my friends coming at the end of septemberyeah that's it stay tuned for more project astro stuff in the coming months goodbye Credits:Kimg Big, Cuck, Hel, 4chan Big and Groudon voiced by: ‪@CartoonySid‬Crocs Burd voiced by: https://x.com/NandoFeverPeanut Burd voiced by my friend HellyPiss Baby voiced by and Piss Blast™ gif animated by:":-)" voiced by my 8 year old cousin

A short animation about my very good friend Pancreasnowork

This was the animated intro for The Today Show Tonight - #42, and originally aired July 24th, 2026. I created, animated, and edited everything seen in the video, outside of the audio. I put a lot more work into this animation, and I found myself a lot more comfortable in blender, navigating, animating, lighting, making props. A lot of this was me experimenting, but I had a lot of the ideas for this animation bouncing around in my head for a good while before I actually started working on it, which might have helped? In any chase I hope you all enjoy, if you have any advice or critique, as always please let me know in the comments. Newgrounds viewers are harsh, but I don't think that's such a bad thing, I don't mind my animations getting low scores but I would like to know what people disliked. I'm always looking to improve! After working on shots for Unleashed ReAwakened in 2022 and Rayman Sings Sex Bomb ReAnimated in 2024 (I can’t upload my shot for the latter onto Newgrounds as it uses unlicensed music -_-;; ) I hadn’t animated anything in about a year due to life, mental health and whatnot. Realising this, decided I should continue to flex my animation muscles, using Rayman again! (cause he lives in my head rent-free :P ) The aim of this piece was to practice character acting and lip-syncing, and I think it was pretty successful in those areas. This was originally just meant to me a pencil test but I had the itch to ink and colour it so I just went along with that. I took way too long to finish this thing, having started it in April 2025 and completing it this month (July 2026) Once again this was due to life and my mental health struggles getting in the way. For my next animation however, I'm gonna aim to keep at it and try not to let my anxiety and insecurities get in the way. The first 9 episodes of The Stickman Object Show Alternative!

This project originally started off as a joke, but it seems like it's begun to develop its own storyline! I mostly just come up with quick ideas to throw into episodes to eventually lead towards the randomized placements, but since every character's gotten their own present-day description and updates, I've had to start making sure that this series leads towards them. Production first started in 2024, then went on hiatus for 2 years before I returned back to it. I'm a solo animator, so pretty much everything was created in Scratch all by myself, Prism! This project has also been supported by many of my pals, even slowly gaining crossovers and references to other media. I sure hope this huge thing got a laugh out of y'all! Can't believe I got so far in just a few years. Anyways... this Newgrounds release needed to have some stuff cut out, such as the music used in Episode 5 near the end, and the full outro part from the YouTube release. So... what's next for the show right now? That's still yet to be decided by me. I'll TRY to not let procrastination take over again this time, heh... (random fun fact: Episode 8, To the Summit, has the longest runtime out of the entire season as of its release.) Miao Miao is left in charge of the bowling alley. Can she handle it?

Miao Miao is left in charge of the bowling alley she works at. It's her first time being trusted with this large of a responsibility, can she handle it?_______This is my longest video, by far. and my first real video in almost a YEAR. lol. All in all, took me about 2-ish weeks to get this together? It started out as my lowpoly day entry, but as that deadline passed me by, I decided to slow down and give it some more time in the oven; if the pacing feels.. all over, that would be because about 70% of it was done before I slowed myself down. Oops! Regardless, I am happy to have completed my first large animation; what I've learned here is invaluable. I've wanted to do this episode for a long time now, so finally being able to give Miao Miao her spotlight was an honor for me. It's hard to describe what has lead me to this little story specifically, but it comes from a place of love. shoutout dad. and thank you to my buddy Kingblue for the music. day one's 4ever.______kingblue's bandcamp

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:📽️ This is probably my best composited animation so far! I’m proud of how this one turned out in the end. This one is also the first to have a watermark (So just in case you steal,) It’ll be obvious. And also the first one to be rendered in 4K!!! 📽️ 🎞️ Work started on this video immediately as I finished the DING! Animation on September 11th, and I fully completed it and uploaded it privately on September 20th. The reason why it took slightly longer was because of my schoolwork this week and unavailability to my house. 🎞️ ✍️ For this video, I implemented the 2-3 resting frames that I only done briefly previously. I think it looks a ton better and more bouncy. Also new is the fact that I have animated multiple head angles for myself and made the soulfire effect in FancyGhost’s hand. (Seriously that’s what I’m most proud of..)✍️ 🥂Anyways.. Enjoy the video! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and let me know what you think, the next animation is already planned and should come out not too long away from now. Anyway, Cheers!! 🥂

HAPPY PICO DAY! This is my first (and probably insignificant) contribution to the event.Seriously, this took me WAY too long to make. I did everything by myself, and yeah… I animated the whole thing with my finger (don’t ask how I’m still alive 💀).That’s what being a lazy bum does to a person, I guess.Anyway, hope you enjoy this cinematic disaster 👍Time spent: 2 weeks (two full weeks doing absolutely nothing but this) Yo, if you also wanna watch it on YouTube(I don’t know why you would, it’s literally already on Newgrounds)Here it is:https://youtu.be/7SaKhI03oWA?si=YQWvg2FUCf0QHXR1Go support me there too… I can’t afford to starve 😔👍
UPDATE (yeah… again):
So… I might have gotten a little too excited. And yeah, that “6th place” was just the daily ranking. Not the final result. Not a big deal.Just me doing what I do best — talking nonsense over a ranking nobody really cares about(let’s be honest, you weren’t even checking that ranking 🦅) So yeah… that emotional speech?Let’s just… pretend it never happened(so you can come back and read it again when the actual results drop) But still, thanks a lot guys — I really appreciate it 👍
*EXTRA*
Now that it’s all over, I can show a bit of the storyboard I made before animating. A little “gift” for those who have nothing better to do and decided to spend their precious lifetime watching some random guy on the internet thanking other users he also doesn’t know. Anyway, thanks a lot, and see you around 🛬🏢🏢

In the first episode, Paul was a background reaction character for a single appearance... but I like how he looked so much that I decided maybe he is another regular. Of course, he is now a regular. Expect to see him haunting the shop more often. Some behind the scenes.I use blender for all the animation. I designed and made all the characters, painted their textures, rigged them... that has taken the longest to do. But now that I have them, essentially it's all about writing, animating and editing the final episode in premiere pro.You have to wear many hats with indie animation, often you do a bit of everything in the production pipeline. And to every animator that has had sleepless nights doing "one more shot" or "one more frame" to make their production happen. Well done. This stuff is HARD. AudioA lot of audio I gather from freesound.org Or i'll record some bits of foley myself. In this episode I sat in front of a microphone shaking a real VHS tape around to get the sound of it in the characters hands. The sound is something I try to spend a lot of time on. Panning the voices through different shots to make the characters feel like they are in the world, adding a subtle room ambient reverb, panning the voice audio when the character turns their head... Such a small thing, but it's the difference between audio that feels "in world" and audio that feels "stuck on top" Time ScalesEpisode 1 took around 2 weeks to do (not including building all the props and the sets etc) , but Episode 2 I managed in 4 days. The context of the episode matters too, If i need to make a bunch of unique props for the story that can take more time. but I could factor in an extra day to just model all the scene specific props. The exterior of Paul's house in this episode for example was a last minute addition. I had time to quickly model it. and light it. so was happy to get it in. Cinematographygetting those nice cinematic shots is important to me, so I spent a lot of time studying the rule of thirds, and other techniques like the golden ratio. If you want to up your game on camera shots. look into this stuff, it'll take you from a bad framing loser to a Hollywood champ in no time! Simple rules to follow and they yield good results. (knowing when to break them is important too) I'm enjoying discovering what kind of show this is turning out to be, I don't have a plan or massive future goal, I just want to explore, introduce new ideas, experiment with different skill sets and channel them all into this video shop.I've got a lot of ideas about more scenarios and characters to make. I'm always open to ideas too so if you want to add something to Voodoo Vids in some way get in touch, let's talk. If you've read this far then thank you, Some people aren't interested in this stuff, but I'd like to include it for those that do enjoy some more content to read after they (hopefully) enjoyed the short. Love to hear your feedback, thoughts in general. drop a comment even if its just to say Hi :) Bren.

Voodoo Vids - #2 The Recommendation

Hecho con stop motion a mano, ellis deberá enfrentar a unos de sus mayores miedos

If You want to support this animation go to My YouTube channel (cub0_cinic0) and watch it there... I really appreciate all the support the channel has received during this time despite the inactivity (remember I’m in university).I’ve always wanted to make a longer video that breaks away from the usual. Animating with Tricky started to feel boring and repetitive—that’s another reason I stopped using him. I enjoy doing stop motion, but not to the point of being stuck with just one character. And of course, I love L4D2—an amazing game full of life (and not just zombies), with a huge community, mostly from Peru (key country gaaaa).I wanted to make it a horror video, but you know me… I’m not exactly the type to take that genre seriously. There might be another L4D2 video like this coming soon—maybe focused on Azumanga, or even TF2 but with the Azumanga girls. I really liked the anime and I’d love to make an animation as a tribute.Tricky won’t be coming back for a while… only in shorts and stuff… try to understand… I also want to enjoy doing this…#l4d2 #left4dead2 #animation #shrekMusic used (most relevant):L4D2 – The Monsters WithinL4D2 – Save Me Some Sugar(I should’ve used more L4D2 tracks but I was lazy)Golgo 13 – Command G13 (Ellis vs Shrek battle)Rest in peace Mr. Saito, a great composer from his era :( And that’s it… leave your thoughts in the comments. This wasn’t easy to make, especially bringing you another detailed stop motion since Among Us. But I’m excited to see how the channel keeps growing…

[L4D2] ELLIS'S NIGHTMARE

Twilight and Sunset need to make a stop after streaking throught the neighborhood to shit.

“After a few moment of streaking around the block near Sunset’s house, along her Girlfriend Twiligth Sparkle, both girls felt the sudden urge to empty their bowels. Unfortunatelly, it would take a bit more of time to return to their starting point where they left their clothes hidden, and enter once more at Sunset’s house to use the bathroom. So they opted to detour and use the bathroom in the backyard of some unsuspectful neighbor, who has no idea that two lovely chicks, naked from head to toe, were taking a dump just a few feet away from their windows…” The uncensored video has been out since a while in my other media, but i noticed that there's no copy in here, so i wanted to provide as well. If you're into seeing two hotties from the EQG series, completely naked, squatting and taking a big fat shit while nobody is looking, then you're in the right place. If not, just drop you dislike and move along :3 Stuff like this is always given first to my patrons, via Discord DM system. hello again all! this one's actually an archival, posted around a year ago, but I think it's one of the best stuff I've ever done haha. it's the last MV for my 2nd album, "seeyalater stratocaster" which came out 3 years ago. time really flies huh!!! I've always had the idea to make an MV that put 2D characters in a 3D world, something like CN City back in the 2000s, or early Gorillaz stuff haha. but because I am just one small bean, I ended up letting the 3D scenes dominate the composition, and only drew for a few scenes haha. drawing is tough!!! much tougher than composing 3D scenes with premade assets, I can say for myself. but I still had stupid fun in the process, and seeing everything come together was a major make-brain-and-eyes-happy-moment. this song's also the last track in the album, and I really wanted to make it feel as such - real bittersweet and stuff haha. people tell me they've cried to it, mission accomplished yay! in the end, it's a project I think I'll look back fondly on forever. :"^) and hopefully y'alls over here would like it too! hehe. enjoy!!! song and visuals by ippo.tsk (me!)https://bsky.app/profile/ippotsk.bsky.socialhttps://www.ippotsk.comget the song:on bandcampon ampwall lyrics: All of the thingsWe hold so dearLet's keep them closeFor as long as we stayBefore my mind forgets itAnd before my heart regretsLet me put some words and notesTogether as you sleepI'll join you in a bitAnd yet the town movesEver so slowAs if one's in spaceThis world can still beSo beautifulI wish I had just beenA little bit smarterBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)Though I fear, I still walk aheadSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into this lifeDid you get some decent rest? The weather's been not so friendlyBetter days will surely come bySooner or laterBut did you worry about me?Might have been a fool, but frankly"Better" ways don't always work forSomeone like meAgain the town movesEver so slowAs if one's in spaceThis world can still beSo beautifulI wish I had just beenA little bit braverBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)Though I fear, I still walk aheadSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into this lifeSee you some other timeBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)I still have to say my duesSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into my lifelet's meet again somehow

[Gmod] Turn Around~

Music by Armin Jusuframić, performed 2025, https://arminjmusic.com/Thank you so much for this fantastic dark ambient reinterpretation! The original version of this comic-animatic was drafted around 2010. Dead Space was the game that motivated me to buy my first proper gaming computer back in the 2010s.Back then, during a gaming party with some friends, one of them introduced us to Dead Space which he played in his Xbox 360. I was Blown away. I was unaware of the advancements in horror gaming and loved the immersive environment and creature designs. So I started saving for both a custom gaming computer from a small PC building business(a Rig which would also serve me for art and design) and a physical copy at an Office Depot (I didn't know of Steam until the sequel came out). While I was setting apart the money to buy my gaming rig, thanks to the immense hype and anticipation I started drawing the original version of this comic. This scenario was drawn thanks to the lore that my friend who owned the game at the time, told us while he was playing, and I also listened to the lullaby posted here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpYz4EQVo1w&list=RDbpYz4EQVo1w&start_radio=1, Something to note is that, prior to drafting the original version I didn't see the marketing trailer, I didn't watch other gameplays or youtube videos, I didn't check the Wikia, and the character references for drawing were scarce on the internet. As you see that version was left incomplete. I was lacking some art skills, and the figures and books from the game were not very available in my country until much, much later. I got my PC and my game and forgot about it for a long while. I picked up this fan art piece, after many years as it was a fun exercise in graphic narrative, and now I learned a bit of extra skills to properly finish comics. For the storytelling, I took inspiration from the Lullaby and used the lyrics as symbolisms to narrate the sequence within these pages. This is the tought process and break-down of the panels you see: Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star (glowing eyes)How I wonder what you are (a lifeform, a necromorph)Up above the world so high (necromorph falls from the ceiling)Like a diamond in the sky (Necromorph's glowing eye+ The Miner looking up)When the blazing sun is gone, (Sun=Miner's life)When the nothing shines upon, (Darkness=Miner's death)Then you show your little light (Little light=Infector's Proboscis, sign of reincarnation/life, tunnel of light while dying or near death)Twinkle, twinkle, all the night. (All the night=Time Passing, transformation ongoing, preparing to return to life as a new form) Then the traveler in the dark, (Isaac)Thanks you for your little spark, (living monster=uncleared area )He could not see which way to go, (path unexplored, exit level is near)If you did not twinkle so. (if Isaac didn't find a living Necromorph) When the blazing sun is gone, (Marker blocks sunlight)When the nothing shines upon, (Darkness=Marker is the source of the nightmare)Though I know not what you are, (the necromorph looming behind)Twinkle, twinkle, little star. (necromorph glowing eyes, little star= a lifeform) I haven't checked newest sources or lore expansion to see if what I "saw" in the lyrics was accurate to the story's representation XD. But still, wanted to finish this. Thanks so much for watching! I hope to get/play the reboot and buy its artbook soon!

A thinkpad gets recued by a linux mascot and questions its gender identity

Hand animated music video for Xenia. This took so much time, but it's so worth it.This is my first time animating something this long, I've only done short loops before. It's a little janky here and there but, hey! It helps with the early internet animation style doesn't it?Music by myself, 6th track from my Baby Trans AlbumXenia is CC0, original design by Alan Mackey.Used parts seller in scene 2 : NIKKI_ @wuffcore.bsky.social (I thought her character's design fit the function very well).Other characters depicted: Tux, Kiki, the C programming language, Rust crab, Bash logo, a Thinkpad.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lyrics: I'm in love with a girl and her name's XeniaShe brought me back from the dead: tech taxidermy-ahOh Xenia She tuxed me hard with her VentoyPushed my buttons all nightNow she opens me up all the timeShe leaves me no respiteNever lets me overheatThough she keeps me nice and warmMakin' me work all night longAs she writes in long free-formShe's a witch I swear she speaks in tongues I can't understandBut she always finds a way to talk to me when she has me in her handsThat's why.. An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with audio by Alex the Doggo

EXTREME GORE WARNING! An SFM recreation of that JayDaddy video with the audio by Alex the Doggo and a little something extra The amount of custom models in this is insane. I ported all Postal 4 assets seen, even The Dude, as the current version is different than the Gmod model. This has been done with the personal blessing of Running With Scissors. Some easter eggs:

The dude is smoking crack when Art enters.

The Rocket Launcher is running DOOM in reference to an easter egg in Rage

The Rocket Launcher also has The Gandalf head bob gif loop

The Chainsaw scene is based off the climax of Evil Dead 2013

When Dude shoots Freddy, it's based off the climax of Ghost Rider when he shoots the gun at Legion, but it's too short to tell that

This is what I consider my Magnum Opus currently because I feel proud for managing to make the trash bag move like a trash bag does, especially when Art is trying to rip out of it. This was done purely through experimentation and guesswork using flexes and custom bones on the Left 4 Dead trash bag model, and I am extremely happy that it turned out as something very comfortable and easy (for the most part) to animate with no issues in the final product. Art ACTUALLY rips out of the bag, the bag shakes around like he's inside of it, and the hole actually expands as he rips out. Also, despite all of that, the hardest part to animate was "Gucky"Not because of the mask, or the rig of the model, but because of how precise the movement had to be to look convincing. I spent two weeks on it alone out of the 30 days I spent animating this. The perk of being an autistic unemployed fuck (thanks for the genes, mom!) (no, seriously. Diagnosed in 2005, baby!) is that you have all day to do nothing but animate. I even kept experimenting with re-rigging the bones on the coat to make them move more realistically, but it didn't turn out how I wanted.Notice how GUCKY is in an awkward pose. I wanted him on a better pose, but the rotation looked very unsmooth when I did so and this segways into the next frame better. Also notice the coat's strange dome-like shape. I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Hopefully Postal 4 one day adds physics itself and re-optimizes the model to have it. The model "supports" it "for a future update" that was teased years ago - this pretty much means that its legs and the coat are separate. However, the shirt and coat are fused, so I can't get it as loose as I want, so I've decided to add a belt to future edits, although my last belt edit is totally gone due to a hard drive crash on my secondary workstation. Dude has re-kindled his inner child and loves playing with toys again. The lore I came up with is that Chucky's spirit was transferred into a mask of his own face, and then Chucky put it on and Gary took over his body. Gary can only rest when he kills his killer. Being that this is Postal, the timeline diverges from ours, but nobody in Postal stays dead, either due to psychosis or something from the local military bases, maybe even both. I just know that it smells like shoe polish all the time in this fucking shithole of a city. SO LONG AND GOODNIGHT! Music used: BFG division I'd also like to thank my Autism for making my special interest Postal instead of something cool like trains, computers (it is one, but not THE one), or Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the Playstation 2.
