Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/ We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Conquer The Foe

This was without a doubt the craziest thing I've ever done in my life lol. This animation is a sequel to "Shonenfication 1," which I made for the previous Madness Day.Last year, I only had a month to prepare.I was really happy with the result, but I never imagined I'd get so much supportespecially after seeing Krinkels watch my animation on a livestream.I felt compelled to outdo myself this year. So, I decided to give myself three months of prep time to really polish it this time around. You have no idea how much work went into this lol.It was three long months of non-stop work on this projectcountless sleepless nights to achieve this result. I know there are people who prepare for much longer and create much longer animations. I know it's not perfect; the animation has some issues with audio direction and music syncing Still, pulling this off entirely on my own at this level of quality was a hell of a lot of work, but every second was worth it. Words can't describe how grateful I am for this event. I might not have a huge following here on NG, but Shonenfication gave me a massive boost on other social media platforms. Thanks for watchingI gave it my all. I hope you enjoyed it, and I'll see you at Madness Day 27 ;) Youtube: PiuyNGTikTok: piuy0111Insta: piuyng Madness Combat by: Matt Jolly "Krinkels" /// Isso sem dúvida alguma foi a maior loucura que eu já fiz na minha vida até agora kkkk Essa animação é uma continuação do "Shonenfication 1" que eu fiz no Madness day anteriorAno passado eu tive apenas um mês de preparo. Day 27 ;) Youtube: PiuyNGTikTok: piuy0111Insta: piuyng Madness Combat by: Matt Jolly "Krinkels"

Thrill-seekers are executing crimes across the city. Can Devin & Max stop them?

Omega: Episode 4 A former rival of Devin from his powerball days is involved with a notorious crime syndicate: The Triune. Officer Max Spencer, offers Devin a position on his metahuman task force. ------------------------------------------------------------------Episode 4! And we're back...8 years later! Starting development back in the Summer of 2018, I wanted a huge episode to showcase all aspects of the series. I didn't fully comprehend how big of a task that would be. Single scenes have more frames than entire previous episodes and we've finally clocked in at 30 minutes long! All animated by one person. So many life events happened in-between creating this. It's been a journey. Sound design has always been a major blind spot with the series so I wanted to spare no expense. Kyle Bird came on board pretty early in development to make it happen. Hope this was worth the wait, enjoy! ******Let me know what you think below! Constructive criticism is always welcomed!******* Special Thanks to: Terrance (KingCrowleyVA), Dashawn, and SailorSilverStar for your incredible work! sorry yet again for not posting for a while x_xThis is a remake/remaster of my previous work involving Gertrude Lawson and my final major project for college, it serves as a trailer for a hypothetical RPG that I wish to make in the future, but for now concept art and this trailer is all I have. hoping to one day be able to post more :D the music was edited together by one of my friendssss (thank you btwww)the music in question is as listed below:https://youtu.be/BNSllfaUkvA?si=3kTtA8AAfsYXK02yhttps://youtu.be/ksnCQEDW5BQ?si=4BG-3X-S8BCVqL3Ihttps://youtu.be/2-ok_i3W3Zg?si=fBE7EFLEXKwRXhqe

I’m sorry this took way longer than expected. People always assume that this channel is run by multiple people, but no, I am a one-man show. I was getting major burnout. Animating these scenes dragged so much these past few months. But I refuse to scrap projects that i’m dedicated to and I’ll always deliver, hopefully in a better, timely manner next time.At one point towards the end when animating the post-credit scene with Christopher and Glep, the file got corrupted and I lost a LOT of animation work. Thankfully, I saved a video version of before that happened so I didn’t lose too much. It could have been bad. But I would have loved to have added way more final touches and details to the animation as a whole, I hope you guys enjoy anyway! Laughter of Heart (2026)

hello again all! this one's actually an archival, posted around a year ago, but I think it's one of the best stuff I've ever done haha. it's the last MV for my 2nd album, "seeyalater stratocaster" which came out 3 years ago. time really flies huh!!! I've always had the idea to make an MV that put 2D characters in a 3D world, something like CN City back in the 2000s, or early Gorillaz stuff haha. but because I am just one small bean, I ended up letting the 3D scenes dominate the composition, and only drew for a few scenes haha. drawing is tough!!! much tougher than composing 3D scenes with premade assets, I can say for myself. but I still had stupid fun in the process, and seeing everything come together was a major make-brain-and-eyes-happy-moment. this song's also the last track in the album, and I really wanted to make it feel as such - real bittersweet and stuff haha. people tell me they've cried to it, mission accomplished yay! in the end, it's a project I think I'll look back fondly on forever. :"^) and hopefully y'alls over here would like it too! hehe. enjoy!!! song and visuals by ippo.tsk (me!)https://bsky.app/profile/ippotsk.bsky.socialhttps://www.ippotsk.comget the song:on bandcampon ampwall lyrics: All of the thingsWe hold so dearLet's keep them closeFor as long as we stayBefore my mind forgets itAnd before my heart regretsLet me put some words and notesTogether as you sleepI'll join you in a bitAnd yet the town movesEver so slowAs if one's in spaceThis world can still beSo beautifulI wish I had just beenA little bit smarterBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)Though I fear, I still walk aheadSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into this lifeDid you get some decent rest? The weather's been not so friendlyBetter days will surely come bySooner or laterBut did you worry about me?Might have been a fool, but frankly"Better" ways don't always work forSomeone like meAgain the town movesEver so slowAs if one's in spaceThis world can still beSo beautifulI wish I had just beenA little bit braverBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)Though I fear, I still walk aheadSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into this lifeSee you some other timeBut before it comes (before it comes)The day when I'm out of range (I'm out of range)I still have to say my duesSo thank you for all the colorsYou've breathed into my lifelet's meet again somehow

The Deep End

A short animation based on one of Piet Mondrian's art paintings

CREDITS Animation: Fermín Pousada and María Belén Sanjuan Music: I. Allegro (abridged) from Concerto For Mandolin, Strings and Harpsichord in C Major Hi! I'm new here. This animation you see was an final assignment from my collage. The assignment is about choosing a work of art and making an animation following the rythm of the music. I, of course, not good when it comes to complex art work, so my brother gave me the idea of using a painting of Piet Mondrian with the music of "I. Allegro (abridged) from Concerto For Mandolin, Strings and Harpsichord in C Major" (I know, the name is too long) I did it in a couple of months with my partner, who now we are friends, we animated it on after effects with the lines and colours and then we added camera movements while also trying to sync with the music. It wasn´t easy, but we made it work. The teacher loved it so much, we got a 10 for the project (which is the equivalent of an A+). She's said she was gonna miss me because I was one of her favorites studients. Luckly, we still are in contact. Enjoy!

A little dragon having sexy fun at the stables

Welcome to the dragon stables! After over 6 months of work I'm so happy to finally be sharing this animation with you guys :D It's not perfect, but I feel it's the best animation I've made so far. I really hope you all enjoy your lil stay at the stables! This is my second Major Project release (the first being the Cookie v2 rework and reveal animation) since I changed my monthly content to short animations, whilst working on Major Projects in the background.Since making this schedule switch, my mental health has been so much better, but I've received a lot of comments stating that I'm not doing enough each month - I'm always working hard on longer form content in the background, please be patient with me, I have lots more fun things in the works! ❤️ Moving forward from this project, I'm now setup on my new PC and ready to start moving my 3D workflow over to blender. It will be a long and weird transition but will mean I can make big projects faster and better. This should be an exciting new year for animations :D Amazing voice actors are Phosphorus_VA as all the Angus's and Pleasedbyviolet as Cookie! SubscribeStarPatreonAnimatic.fun

An animated fight of an army of men vs a Swordie pikachu

I made this for YouTube to remember that animation when I was a child, but improving in certain aspects... in a working time of about 3 days (cuz I rarely have time to not working on my major project or doing life stuff), so it's not absolutely all the fighting movements that I wanted to include, but whatever. Btw, I don't know if you can watch that option, but all the videos I publish here have the "allow Embedding" option marked, so no worries on using my videos for your work as long as you give me credits. Same applies to my videos on YouTube. The video has sound and (other) music originally on my YouTube channel, you can watch it here:

PKMN Colosseum AMV Scene 2 (WIP)

An animation dedicated to the fans SMRPG and Geno

(THE STORY) In the Mushroom Kingdom, the powerful Wishing Stars from the Star Road went missing and began to throw Super Mario's world into chaos. From the skies, the Starman ♡♪!? (nicknamed Geno) came down into a toy puppet. His mission was to bring back the stars. Mario and his new friend Mallow join with him to set things right in the Mushroom Kingdom. (THE FANS) Many fans such as myself wondered when we would finally see Geno again. Little mentions here and there would give us a little glimmer of hope, but alas, things did not quite turn out the way we had wished. It was almost 2 decades of waiting to see him appear in a new game. Many have wondered what fans of Geno saw in him. In the hope of answering some of this curiosity, this is a slice of his story in Super Mario RPG. He is a very different type of character for the Mario Series and stands out as a canonically powerful ally. It was a shame to just forget him along with Mallow, the cloud prince. (THE ANIMATION) Through finishing university and many other commitments, here is the fruit of a 5 year labor. It was a let down seeing companies want to put him away into the past. Here is a send off to the Smash Bros Series addition wish and a look towards the future. The animation was started in Blender upon its Greasepencil tool alpha release back in 2017. The latest version in Blender's recent release is one powerful tool now days. The animation is a testament to its evolution over the last 5 years. I would like make some behind the scenes soon to explain how it was utilized to make the animation. (THE MUSIC) If you like the song, give it a listen on all major music streaming services! We all remember him.He stood up with his friends... against the evils in his world. We, had hoped he'd be back soon Chorus x2 What a shame that the powers that be have tried to erasehim from history. All he's done, and who he was.... he would not be lost to time. Breakdown He is the past, he is nothing.Forget! All that! He means to you!He is the past, he is nothing.... Second Chorus He down from the Star Road and Higher Authority. They were once lost, but then found the Seven Stars above. What a shame, that the powers to tried have to erase...his history all that he's done and what he means to all of us No we won't forget, he's not lost to time, he is Geno, and he's more than just the name. A song by Major Danger about finding different angles and perspectives, Enjoy!

Yo, what's good everyone? It's Major Danger here, and I'm excited to share with you our new track, "Perspectives". This song is all about lookin' at things from different angles, and findin' your own perspective. And let me tell you, the official music video, animated by Vincent Uy, is out of this world. First and foremost, I gotta give a big shout out to all our fans out there. You guys are the reason we do what we do, and we couldn't do it without your support. You keep us goin' and we're forever grateful for that. Now, let me tell you about the animator of this video, Vincent Uy. This guy is a genius, let me tell you. He brought the song to life in a way that I never thought was possible. Every single frame of that video is a work of art. He really knows how to capture the essence of the song and bring it to life in a visually stunning way. The idea for "Perspectives" came to us while we were thinkin' about the importance of seein' things from different angles.Ya know, in today's world, it's easy to get caught up in our own perspectives and miss the bigger picture. But this song is all about steppin' outside of your comfort zone and explorin' new perspectives. It's about growin' and learnin' and never settlin' for one point of view. And let me tell ya, there's no greater message than one that talks about followin' your dreams. No matter what obstacles you may face, it's important to remember that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. We hope that our music can serve as a source of inspiration for those who are chasin' their own dreams. But let me tell you, it wasn't always easy for me to believe in myself and chase my dreams. I remember I had a near-death experience a few years back, and it changed my life forever. I was in a terrible car accident, and for a moment, I thought it was all over. But as I was drifting in and out of consciousness, I had a vision. I saw myself traveling to other dimensions, communicating with extraterrestrial beings, and even time traveling. It was the most profound and life-changing experience of my life. In that moment, I realized that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. I knew that if I could survive that accident, I could do anything. And that's when I decided to chase my dreams, no matter what anyone said. I wanted to share that message with the world through my music, and that's why "Perspectives" is so important to me. I know that some of you might think that traveling to other dimensions and talking to aliens is a bit far-fetched. But let me tell you, anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. I've seen it with my own eyes, and I know that you can too. So, I encourage you to keep an open mind, and never stop chasing your dreams. The possibilities are endless, and you never know what you might discover. So, check out the official music video on our YouTube page, and join us on this journey of discoverin' different perspectives. And as always, we appreciate your support and couldn't do it without you. Stay true to yourself, and never stop chasin' your dreams. Peace out! Seven raids were launched each with two British Vulcan bombers and eleven Victor tankers. The raids targeted the airfield as well as radar and surface defense positions on the isles using bombs or new American supplied Shrike Anti-radiation (radar seeking) missiles. The raids would go down as the longest bombing missions of the 20th century, however, they are also generally considered to have been ineffective, causing only light and quickly repaired damage to the airfield and radar sites. The raids were criticized as being an excuse for the airforce to justify its existence and avoid budget cuts in what was shaping up to be mostly an army and naval operation. The raids did have a demoralizing effect on the Argentinians and caused them to shift some of their air assets in order to ensure future raids couldn't target cities on the mainland. ---------------------------------------------About me:--------------------------------------------- I'm Imperial Scribe, I make animations about military and naval history as well as war theory. In St. Giles, London, an iron band slipped off a wooden beer barrel at the horseshoe Brewery. This resulted in one of the weirder industrial accidents in history, as a 15-foot wall of beer burst from the barrel, swamping the brewery and several surrounding houses. All told 8 were killed in the beer flood.
