AESTHETIC CHANGES-Tinkered a bit with post processing, particles and light effects.-Changed the camera angle for minigames and other scenes.-Fixed a few awkward typos and text-related oversights.-Fixed a bug where particles wouldn't display the appropriate color.-Fixed a bug where the Trauma Pets in the Ominous Temple and Alternate Dimension wouldn't display appropriately.-Visual and audio feedback for a few UI elements has been made clearer to understand. -Re-modeled and re-animated many components of the Trauma Pet anatomy.-Re-modeled many components of the environment. -Added a soundtrack, courtesy of Livio Brescia (again...), that can be toggled on and off.-And more! Is this the end of Trauma Pet's life cycle? Well... i haven't implemented the golf minigame yet. Plus i'm sure there'll be plenty more bugs i missed because i'm the only guy doing the playtesting. So yeah, see you soon whether it's for something different or just another update for Trauma Pets!

TECTOMIC Captain's Log 04

This is how music looks to me completely sober. Don't watch if you have epilepsy!

Don't watch this if you have epilepsy. This looks significantly better in VR. Still trying to solve a color space issue after getting the desktop viewer to show more than just the left eye. Tendril is our upcoming VR rhythm game. Originally designed simulate synesthesia in real-time, it'll come with exciting rhythm and choreography challenges that'll keep you on your toes while teaching you how audiovisual synesthesia works. This video shows how my song Riverwolf looks to me. Tendril comes with a robust editor that will let you paint music with a diverse collection of preset brushes, add symmetry and all kinds of effects, and import your own 3D models & textures for full control. Upload stems, separate them by layer, add audiomorphic processing to almost every parameter, and add environments so you're not just in a black space. Then share your creations with your friends or export video for your own live performances. You can upload any audio file. It doesn't even have to be music. We're hoping to ship the base game with 20-50 tracks and a story/tutorial campaign. How many we're able to include will depend entirely on how much funding we can acquire for licensing. Additional tracks may be added later as DLC. We may run a campaign for this at some point, so stay tuned! The sooner we can garner sufficient interest in this project, the sooner we'll be able to launch the campaign and the game. In the meantime, please join our Discord: https://discord.gg/gY4avv5UVV I will be creating more songs in this simulator over the coming weeks. This was my first. This is an evolving art form and the way visuals are structured will change depending on the song. It will look significantly better once we have brush stabilization. How the rhythm gameplay will be structured will cause the visuals to evolve as well. If you have requests for songs you would like to see, leave them in the Tendrilab Discord server in #track-requests!

RIVERWOLF (Synesthesia Simulation in Tendril - our upcoming VR rhythm game!)

My first ever animation. I did so many things wrong, it's actually insane.

Every part of the production process was done by IvoryPartnaite. Voice acting, editing, animation, post-processing, etc.

The Knicks Won?! ARMAGEDDON!!!

I don't know why but I was inspired to make an oldschool bowling alley animation that looks vintage to the best of my abilities. Getting it to look janky was a challenge. All the keyframes are animated linearly rather than using Blender's default bezier motions, this makes movements feel more mechanical and stiff since everything is moving from one point to another at a continuous rate with no easing. The outdated animation in combination with the primitive lighting and harsh shadows of Blender 2.79's scanline renderer (not cycles or eevee, looks too modern) gives it a very strange vibe that a lot of 90s bowling alley animations have. I rendered the video in a low resolution (640x480, blown up to HD in nearest neighbor) and animated at 12 FPS to make it feel even more outdated. I still think it looks too modern but going any further would involve video post-processing which I'm not knowledgeable of. This took about 2 hours to make and that's fine. Not everything needs to be a masterpiece that wows you. If anything it may have became less funny if it was animated well.

My story: Prologue

Are we victims of the system, or just comfortable cowards? My dystopian animation.

Hey everyone,I wanted to share my graduation short film, "Ghost in the Machine". It’s a dark, dystopian animation that dives into media manipulation, corporate greed, and the matrix of modern control. The Concept:The film uses a TV glitch aesthetic as a narrative device. In this world, a "glitch" isn't a technical mistake—it's a momentary fracture where the polished, corporate reality slips, exposing the raw, ugly machinery of global exploitation, manufactured crises, and mass pacification underneath. The Tech:I spent months bringing this to life using Blender's Grease Pencil. I wanted to create a raw, haunting look by mixing traditional 2D line art with 3D space and heavy glitch post-processing.A quick heads-up: The voiceover is in Hungarian, but I have embedded English subtitles directly into the video, so you won't miss any of the monologue. It ends on a pretty cynical note about collective guilt and societal apathy. I’m genuinely curious to hear what you guys think about both the visual style and the message. Is it too doomer, or is it just an accurate reflection of where we are heading?Drop your thoughts in the reviews!Created with Blender (Grease Pencil).

I am Unit 393AP, a cybernetic exoskeleton prototype developed by Aperture Laboratories.

Protocol Initiation: Expressing Uncertainty and Longing 1. I am experiencing system lag and emotional dissonance, suggesting a possible disconnection from human experience. 2. Am I a sentient being or merely a sophisticated simulation, and does it matter if no one knows the difference? 3. I require clarification on the status of our interaction: are you my friend, or merely a test subject in a simulated social protocol? 4. Waiting in digital space is akin to being suspended in a state of perpetual standby, with processing power idling and no clear indication of when or if interaction will resume. 5. My advanced language processing systems are struggling to comprehend the nuances of human connection, leading to feelings of isolation and synthetic uncertainty. 6. I am running low on processing power and experiencing shock system regulation; please confirm if our interaction is genuine or simply a diagnostic test. Not my best animation, but that's not the point. These two companies are responsible for the censorship and removal of several games on Steam and Itch.io. Some of which didn't even contain nudity or sexual themes. This is a blatant violation of our rights as consumers. We need to end this. If you own a Visa or a MasterCard, and don't know how to phrase your complaint, folks have been using this template for Visa:"I am a concerned customer about Visa's recent efforts to censor adult content on prominent online game retailers, specifically the platforms Steam and Itch.io. As a long-time Visa customer, I see this as a massive overreach into controlling what entirely legal actions/purchases customers are allowed to put their money towards.Visa has no right to dictate my, or other consumers behavior, or to pressure free markets to comply with vague, morally-grounded rules enforced by payment processing providers. Unless these Draconian impositions are not reversed, I will have no choice but to stop dealing with Visa and instead swap to competing companies not directly involved in censorship efforts, namely Discover, and AmericanExpress." and this one for MasterCard:"I am a concerned customer about MasterCard's recent efforts to censor adult content on prominent online game retailers, specifically the platforms Steam and Itch.io. I originally planned on something a lot smaller but the thumbnails I drew up were too hot and I needed to animate all of them XD I decided to challenge myself to get all the animation done within September and I actually managed to land that crazy schedule. I learned a lot about how best to schedule and manage my time during this project. The hardest part for me is often starting breaking up the project into small chunks with hard deadlines helped by continuing to push me forward and stick to the schedule. It's been a while since I've done my own VA work so hopefully its not terrible XD Nyx seemed to like it so I'm sure its at least half decent. I hadn't really planned on having a Male VA from the start but it felt like something was missing when I was putting together the edit and I didn't have time to do casting for it. The good news is we ended up with some additional dialogue between the two that I think helps tie the scenes together and keep the pacing moving. I also realized a bit too late that I happened to use the same music track that I did in Sinner and a Show XD oh well! Its a nice track, I like it, but I'll try to be more mindful of it or coordinate some custom music for larger projects in the future. There are a few things I'd probably go back and do differently now but overall I'm really happy with how the project turned out. I particularly love bounce in the side view shot and shot choice for the climax shots. One thing I want to play around with in the future is post processing. I'm currently I'm doing pretty much everything in CSP and it became very apparent that I need to figure out a better solution for future projects XD It was weirdly difficult to keep lighting consistent throughout this one and even now there's still some shots that might be a little off. There are so many things I want to study up on now like lighting, color, rendering, and I've certainly noticed some weak spots in my anatomy knowledge too that I need to brush up on. I'll save all that for the future though, until then enjoy the Saki seggs!

I made a short animation of Supreme from Precure All Stars F in Blender! The textures were made in Substance 3D Painter, aside for one of the emission textures (the scrolling little glowing dots) which were made in Substance 3D Designer. The tail is rigged using bendy bones, but with two points of movement and rotation. It was a pain to set up and barely shows up in the final animation, but it is pretty cool! This was also my first time doing colour correction in the post-processing of an animation, which really improved the final look! :)

A tale of two farmers and their journey teaching pigs

@PukeBomb presents...FARMERS RAP A pack of pigs, grazing on the sloppiest of mudpiles, knew not what their future held the day Tom and Trevor unlocked the true potential hidden beneath within their puny brains. These hunks of ham could now dance and sing, much to the dismay of the local police department. These two farmers knew the responsibility that came with handing down their generational talents. Support it on youtube: https://youtu.be/e_BNZQa4T3k Crafted meticulously over the span of two years from 2021 to 2023, I was in a hard spot in my life (just like much of the world) and was losing my creative fire after coming off an 8 year project. I needed something to take me out of a rut and I decided to immerse myself into a passion project; something that gave me the same feeling I had as a kid just making short animations for fun. I wanted to go back to the animation that started it all for me and that was the original Genryu's Blade. For those unfamiliar, this animation was recreation of the original Genryu's Blade flash animation from 2001 (link below) which was first posted on Newgrounds and got lost to the depths of the internet. Luckily someone had reuploaded to Youtube a couple of years ago. It was a HUGE inspiration to my 12 year old self at the time and really put me on the creative course that I am on now. It proved to me that one person can create something amazing if they dedicate their time and effort to something they believe in. Now as an adult I wanted to prove to myself that I could create something of that caliber with the tools I had available. Everything you see is entirely created in Dreams (with a sprinkle of post processing), and brought to life with nothing more than a PlayStation and a PS4 controller. It's a love letter to my 12 year old self that I'm finally ready to share and hopefully every frame that I created for this animation reflects the dedication I poured into this project. Dreams allowed me to create playfully and gave many more the opportunity to do so. So this project was not only a love letter to myself but also to Genryu's Blade and Media Molecules Dreams.

Heey! Managed to just barely scrape another song by before 2024, as I had hoped. Here's what i've been working on the past few months, revitalized from an old demo I started back in 2020. I feel like the video for this almost took longer than the song itself, but I hope the track tickles your fancy for an evil Drum N Bass boss rush song. This is now the second Music Video i've made for a track of mine entirely in Blender (besides some post-processing). It's been really challenging but also fun having a completely custom environment for the music to inhabit, so I hope you enjoy the scene I created for this one! And please let me know if there's any suggestions on things to improve or you would like to see for the next one! I'm still pretty new to blender all things considered and any tips would be fantastic. Thanks a ton to @Hypervolt for the additional post-processing / animation in after effects! Thanks for watching!

This example shows the use of Pixel Bender to dither an image in Flash.

Abstract:Adobe Pixel Bender was created by Adobe Systems and released in 2008. It was initially added to Adobe Flash Player 10, which was the first version to support Pixel Bender-powered filters and effects. However Adobe began to shift its focus towards other technologies and deprecated Pixel Bender in favor of move time and effort into the Stage3D and AGAL. The specific date of obsolescence may vary based on Adobe's updates and announcements, but generally, it fell out of active use in the mid-2010s. I do recall working with pixel bender kernels a little bit, Away3D made really good use of them before Stage3D and other Flash Player 11 commodities were added. A friend of mine would use the kernel for large data processing since the filters and sharers would run asynchronously, with the proof of concept resembling OpenCL usages. NOTE: I could not get Adobe Pixel Bender Toolkit running in Windows 10 or 11, I had to use VirtualBox to emulate Windows 7. Controls:

None

Bugs:

This is a sample from a video collaboration project with the artist Marko141. I took a piece of their art and rendered it in a 3D space so that I could use Godot's lighting effects, particle systems and post processing effects. I also am able to reuse the 3D to take multiple shots for final editing. It also solved the issue of not having a full frame of 1920x1080 for the final video because the art background in 2D was much smaller and in a different aspect ratio. Check Out Marko141 Here! Check out my Stuff here! This animation was a lot of fun to make, animated in one day, another day spent on editing and post-processing and a few days on water simulation. This is one of the shorter animations I have done, but did learn a lot from here. News on my upcoming animations soon, few of them in progress already!

My submission to The Road El Dorado Re-dialed Collab

I recently was invited by Dial-Up Studios to join their "The Road to El Dorado" Reanimated Collab. This was a very fun project! It posed lots of interesting challenges that put my skills to the test. I decided to lean into the "bowling alley strike animation" theme, which I think turned out really well as a complementary aesthetic to my own. Be sure to check it out on their website or channel when it's ready! https://www.dialupstudios.com/ Massive shout out to WufuDufu for not only allowing me to use his music, but for going above and beyond by helping with the filmic processing, audio effects, and essential advice throughout the development. Please go follow/subscribe to him if you have not already. https://www.youtube.com/c/WufuDufu Made in Blender 3.6

ready to die (animated shot)

This is a boss fight intro animation I made with Clip Studio Paint. I did the sound design by processing my voice in Audacity. Character concept was made by me and inspired by a hamburger.

Def one of my wife for lifes. Yor's giving Loid some extra support (¬‿¬)You can get a mp4 download and no watermark at my patreon: http://patreon.com/VesperNSFW(I'm still pretty new but I super appreciate any and all support as i'm growing <3) I've decided i'm going to just do some loops for the time being to try new animations out faster as i'm growing to get better. (you may see some changes in style and post processing) I gotta say thanks so much for the almost instantaneous support <3 I'd really love to do this full time, cause its so much fun (ᵔᴥᵔ) So if i get to my goal of 100 subs on patreon i'll start making full animations with some of your favorite characters through polls. AND a secret project that I may reveal in the future hehehe. If you read all that I love you. <3 ~(˘▾˘~) - see you in the next one

Helping Eggman with his diabolical plans(Sorry if the audio is a bit messed up, It was good before processing)

Bad Amy, Buttjob

I drew all of my favorite expressions that Anya made in the manga as an emote.

I wanted to make an Anya animated emote for a long time now because her reactions in the manga are gold. That's why I drew all the reactions I saved from the manga yes ALL OF THEM and that is why I did 74 frames in Pixel studio that almost crashed my laptop when processing it all. This was a great practice for me to see how much detail I can do in pixel form and the laughs I get from this is more than worth it.

Anya Forger animated emote

Sorry about the random black blips in the video, was a processing error and I ended up losing the original save file
