Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

<blockquote>Eh, might as well post that one there...</blockquote> So, I made this "animation meme" to test out some character designs and this monochromatic artstyle. Feel free to give your criticism, I really appreciate it! Also, I didn't know if I could use the Charlie's Inferno song, so I replaced it with a basic metronome... Don't wanna get Newgrounds in trouble. Anyway, character names, in case you were wondering:Marte (first guy)Pontes (sunglasses guy)Jaqueta! (chin guy)Miau (hat guy)MJJ (phone guy)H-P (robot guy)Lázaro (eyepatch guy)Vetor (square guy)Senhora Helena (woman)Hércules (scarf guy) Big thanks to Krita and Shotcut. They are very cool animation and editing programs, respectively!

"Cirno is the coolest" Happy Cirno day Everynyan, this year i decided it would be cool to finally upload the old cirno day stuff i made to NG, This animation was the first ever video i ever uploaded when i began the Forgedmaid channel like 4 years ago, so now it will also be my first video here on NG and probably the only one for awhile cuz of copyright (i really wanted to post the campfire song song one here but alas), the other cirno animation will be posted as an art gif I remember showing this anim to my mum when i was making it and she tought i didn't know bow to draw and was coloring some else's drawing (ouch)I really hope it's noticeable just how much i improved in half a decade (Jesus it didn't feel like THAT long ago) Also [screw] youtube for cutting the right side of the video to automatically turn it into an short (there was text on the side saying "im the coolest") &gt;:[

[Old] Cirno Day 2022

A classic. Check it here: <a href="https://youtu.be/XoJFz9ZJPxI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://youtu.be/XoJFz9ZJPxI</a> I'll be really occupied post this point, so expect uploads to slow down significantly from here on. I'm planning the release for my game as well when things get sorted out, so that'll be an additional time hog. Stay tuned and stay cool! The game demo's here on Newgrounds: <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1047354">https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1047354</a> Check the teaser too if you're interested in The Good Stuff!

The dude and the frog

So these are the first two videos I did for Cirno Day 2020 and 2021. Holy hell, really forgot how bad the resolution was for that first one. Back then I was using Premiere Pro CS6, and it really can't render for shit. One of these days I might remaster it, if I ever get around to it. Really just a big homage to Breaking Bad though. For Cirno Day 2021, that one was inspired by both Zone's <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/372005">4chan 4evar</a> video and also Mio Honda. I remember cramming this one in two weeks at the start of the semester and was just vibing like crazy. Also met a chill bro who was also into Touhou so that was pretty cool. The actual Cirno art in these videos are not mine, legit just pictures I found on Danbooru or iFunny back in the day. Like I mentioned last year, this was during a time where I just didn't really think too hard about how far I'd take this, so I have no clue as to who made like 99% of those Cirnos (also it was like almost 5-6 years ago). So please please please, if you know the artists behind some of these, please give them your love and support. I legit would've never been inspired to make any of these without gazing upon their talent, and I did a pretty crap job of giving them the credit they deserve. Stay tuned for this upcoming Cirno Day!

Take a peek at a Cat's definitely "non-stolen" merchandise.

It's Zoey's Shop! The place where other felines can get themselves some goodies. Her owner keeps wondering how some items in his house get lost without a trace, furthermore, he keeps wondering why his cat suddenly has a new house, toys and yarn balls. Naaaah... must be his imagination. Song is from MINDWAVE, from that one clock minigame.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I recently got myself Aseprite, and wanted to do an animation so I could get used to the Interface and Shortcuts. As a test, I made a small walk cycle with a character of mine. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/659/iu_1659262_27833284.gif" alt="iu_1659262_27833284.gif" data-smart-scale="320,320">His name is "Shell" Perhaps some day you'll learn more about him? Who knows... Anyway, I wanted to make an "actual" animation with the software, so I kept brainstorming ideas for what it could be. At the time, "DELTARUNE Chapter 5" came out, and there's a certain section with a Shopkeeper, it features a really nice pixel art background. So I decided to make it a Shop. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/659/iu_1659261_27833284.png" alt="iu_1659261_27833284.png" data-smart-scale="764,397"> I quickly got the hang of it (Well... most of it). The CRT Filter was just a neat little touch I wanted to add, I think it looks cool :) Hope you enjoyed the animation!

Zoey's Shop

So my dad died and I wanted to express myself, and the jam gave me a good excuse

My Cook Off Jam Entry? Ehh, I mainly wanted to deal with the whole dad dying stuff I've been going through, he was my hero, my mentor, my best friend... It's been hard working on this, countless nights I just stopped after working for 5 minutes to cry. After completing it though I feel a lot better, I think art is cool like that, The Recipe is how my dad would write it down, not really in a good way and just expected you to know how to make it lol... I don't think this'll win but I'm hoping for 3rd place, it's not everyday you see animations on 1's and 2's nowadays huh? Anyways before all of yall start saying "Sorry for your loss" in the comments I'm better now and thank you for the concern, It means a lot!

It is a high quality, fully voiced (by yours truly) audio/image series presented in episodic video format that features a purple hair girl called Claire who, after a series of events, finds love and sexual interest in the arms of her husband’s grandfather. Project is fictional of course and it is mainly focused on telling a deep, engaging and slow-burn, but hugely satisfying porn story between a younger adult woman and a much older man. This is a story driven 18+ porn content that gets more and more interesting and hotter with each episode, which is kind of a break from a lot of other content out there that is focused on immediate action or just animations which are straight to the point. Series will have a lot of interesting surprises, twists and turns, unexpected new characters, porn scenes and situations that are not that common out there in 3DX world as we go deeper into the story. I think it is safe to say that Claire will have a wild ride throughout this series! ;) Thanks for watching this video and have an awesome day! Much love!❤️

A wild, weird, crazy lyric video for my song grungy rock song Kim Gordon

This song is called Kim Gordon. I wrote it during a depressed winter (for me that’s every winter) when I was living in a small town, writing a ton of music but lacking anywhere to really share it. I wrote more than a whole album and now I'm finally ready to put it out there If I didn't name it that, maybe I would've named it Pulling For You, which isn't as cool. Also, Kim Gordon's music has sometimes felt like a supportive friend, turning to music she's made and artists she's mentored when I needed the kind of emotional support no one I knew could give: understanding 2. The song is about the way we try to help depressed friends and family get through suicidal thoughts but don't always do a great job because it's hard to know what to say. And it's about being the suicidal person (note: I'm NOT suicidal, at all) and having other people talk to you. And the things they say aren't always super helpful. And then when the shoe is on the other foot, you only know how to say what has been said to you. And it's about the way we sometimes act as support for people when we need support, but I didn't always know I needed support and I didn't always know how to give it, especially when I needed it and didn't know it. You know? lyricsAliens coming for your brain and I’m running my mouthYou can’t stop your little drain and I’m running mine southI’m a little bit insane but I love you Oooh yeah yeah I keep stopping for the rain all smelling seaI could see into your brain a melodyI’m a little overconfident but I mean well Oooh yeah yeah Please, I’m writhing on the ground. ARCHANGEL [Fan-made Lyrics Video]

An old collection of animations I made in 2020. In this project, I started experimenting with 3D using basic tools like Panzoid (Clipmaker) and Paint 3D. The Illuminati animation looks like it's in 3D, but it's actually just a clever way of moving polygons to make them look 3D. Here are just a few of my 100% original animations (Well, for the vaporwave-like animation, I used a free default 3D model from the Paint 3D app).I can't show you the really cool animations I've created using nature footage, because I can't remember where I got them from. Enjoy the full compilation here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UavudMblISw" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Trippy Visuals III</a> (The original audio cannot be played here due to copyright restrictions)

Trippy Visuals III [Demo] - 2020

Guy named Tim absolutely guns down many people.

Tim, an overzealous runaway marksman, decided his new career path involved roaming the streets during a war and stealing anything cool he finds off of the ground. How did he pull any of that off?? He should've died to the big Gordo Mask with the spike mace!! This man is a reckless menace. There's no way he could possibly live more than a few months. Then again, that Bob guy should've been dead, too, already. I wonder if they know each other. ======================================================I spent a little too long on this one, but I really, really enjoyed it! Still working on evening out the pacing, but everything was such a step up from how rushed it all was during 0-3 vs. how it is now. Had a ton of fun adding effects and sounds, and animating such a flashy, excessive by-nature character was a really fun change of pace (even if I love animating all of them)! In the same way that Bob is inherently "Just a random guy," Tim is the same too. But one doesn't even bother talking or expressing much independent thought, while the other is running wild with his free will! They have many many parallels I hope to convey soon. Everyone in this world is "just some guy," so that should only make the things you do even more insane or impressive. Good or bad! Since this is done, it's actually really time to get started on 0-5 and end the Prologue Chapter after almost 2 years. I seriously can't believe not only am I still going but also it took this long!! It was worth it, we really have so many characters, sprites, and weapons! And I've met a good amount of people who helped along the way who made everything just 10x more worth it. Including you, because you watched this! Thank you Music - <a href="https://youtu.be/zUrUoCDrcdo?si=AcaYgPpTLa5NSlRw" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Return to Ashes</a>

This is a story for the prompt "field" and a bit of "distance" i made in flash use arrow keys to toggle pages music link use arrow keys to toggle pages i tried to be a bit creative with it Special Thanks for im-leia for musicJamirot for this amazing oppurtunityand Newgrounds for their amazing website here is the story (for mobile users) : It was just a regular day at home, chilling, when I heard a voice from above — it was my mom. She told me that tomorrow we are going to take a trip to the fields with my grandparents. "OK," I said. Well, we'll see. Every month we travel to the fields in the countryside just to have a nice day with our grandparents. I really like the fields; it is a silent place to put your thoughts aside and maybe stretch or meditate. When I heard about this, I was excited to go, especially with my grandad. I loved staying with him; he always teaches me cool stuff. Like last year, where he taught me how to make a wooden tent and also taught me how to catch fish. Life here was simple and we were happy. That was until tomorrow, when my mom told me something really tragic. "So, we are going to the fields, but your grandad isn't joining us." "WHY?" I said. "Because… Because… your grandad got a heart attack and passed away," she said while she was sobbing. "WHAT? That can't be…" I said. "It's impossible." I couldn't go to the fields without my grandad. I felt my heart broken from the inside. Then we took the road to the fields. I felt depressed. Now, who would teach me how to make cool things and tell me old trivia? And now he's dead. What's the point of going anyway, you might ask? So, they're hosting my grandad's funeral in the fields. I needed to go; it will be the most important day of my life. That way, I can tell him my final goodbyes. The trip felt long, way too long than it should be. Every mile we crossed, I felt sadder, more depressed. As he was my only best friend in this whole universe, I never had any friends. Everyone likes bullying me for some reason. He was the only one who understood me; he was ME. So, finding out that he's dead just didn't feel right, but I had nothing to do. That's life — people live and die. That's why we need to live the best of it, spend every little second with your family, because you won't be seeing them again. The road went on and on, like it was stretching. It felt like eternity. "Honey, wake up," mom said. I thought we had arrived at the fields, but no — we just stopped at the gas station for a quick rest. I felt devastated. My family went inside to order a quick snack. I didn't have the appetite to eat anything; I just waited in the car. I really wanted to see my grandad one last time in my life. I felt like they took forever to finish ordering. I couldn't wait to go. I saw them exiting the gas station. "FINALLY!" I said. They came back with snacks. "Take some," my sister said while trying to give me a bag of chips. "No thanks," I said. I wasn't that hungry anyway. We took the road, driving our way to the fields — slowly but surely — crossing beautiful landscapes, giant farmlands, and stunning mountains. For a second, I forgot about everything. I was mesmerized by the magnificent views of the wilderness: giant trees, long stretching lakes, and fascinating wildlife. And before I knew it, we finally arrived at the fields. "Oh, here they are!" our grandma shouted while waving her hands. I saw her from far away. When we parked our car, we were greeted by our grandma, but something felt off, like a missing puzzle piece — my grandad was that missing puzzle piece. The trauma hit me again. I instantly remembered everything. I really missed him. I didn't have the chance to see him again. "SNAP OUT OF IT!" my mom said. My grandma led us to the house, where I saw a lot of familiar faces — my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin. "Wanna play something?" he said. "What the hell? Are you SERIOUS? It's a funeral! A FUCKING FUNERAL!" Everyone started staring at me. "Sorry!" I said, but he dragged me away anyway. We went outside in the beautiful sunset, playing soccer and passing the ball. "So, what are you into right now?" my cousin said. "Yeah, nothing, what about you?" I said. "The same," my cousin said. We were kinda just awkwardly passing the ball over and over again with basically no purpose. After passing the ball for about 20 minutes, my mom called me. "Get in here, son," she said. I went to her. "What's the matter, mom?" I said. "Your grandma wants to give you something." She said. I was curious. "What is it?" I said. "Follow me and you'll see." I followed my mom, then I saw my grandmother holding a big can of some sort. "What is this?" I asked. "It's your grandad's time capsule," she said. I was shocked — my grandad's time capsule, that's so COOL! I really wanted to open it. My grandma gave it to me and I started to open it in no time. I found a lot of vintage stuff, like old Star Wars action figures, his old yo-yo that looked SO OLD, old newspapers from the 1970s, and a letter? I picked up the piece of paper. It read: June 23rd, 1982 "Hi there, it's me. I am 15 years old now. I fell in love with this year. I met a lot of new friends and learned a lot of cool new stuff. When I grow up, I will become an engineer, establish a new family, and maybe even meet my grandchildren in the future." I was touched by it. I felt better with this letter. It felt like my grandad was still alive with us. This letter was the cure to my depression and my sadness. I challenged myself to also meet new friends, learn new cool stuff, establish a family, and someday meet my grandchildren in the future. But for now, I just sat down to observe the nature around me. "I wish I could meet you again." THE END

What is a rock? Well, that is a hard question to answer that is overlooked because of how sedentary everyday discussions tend to get. We should strive as a species to move away from the sedentary and delve into the sedimentary, even if it's initially elementary. The answer is usually just a stone's throw away, but then again, so is rock bottom. It takes a bolder person to really understand what a rock is. People might answer with such primitive descriptions on what a rock is, usually classifying it as: "In geology, a rock (also called a stone) is any naturally occurring solid mass or aggregate of minerals or mineraloid matter. It is categorized by the minerals included, its chemical composition, and the way in which it is formed. Rocks form the Earth's outer solid layer, the crust, and most of its interior, except for the liquid outer core and pockets of magma in the asthenosphere. The study of rocks involves multiple subdisciplines of geology, including petrology and mineralogy. It may be limited to rocks found on Earth, or it may include planetary geology that studies the rocks of other celestial objects." This is simply only a fragment of what a rock truly is, and the truth will ground anyone. All of these words are just a nugget of wisdom, but a lot of value can be held within just a single nugget in a coal mine. Sometimes, the canary is nowhere to be found, and the only gold in sight is the one you carry with you, so please use it wisely.

I hope you all enjoy!

Ivan decides he is going to take over Locktopia in the name of Bulgaria

Happy Lock Day 2026 yall <a href="https://discord.gg/GFea9FfCa8" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lock Legion Discord Server</a>Man how time flies, I haven't made anything for the Lock legion in a long time, at least since 2024 if I can recall. Hell the last "animation" I made myself was my shitty New Years Animation (cringe don't watch it). But 22 years, happy damn birthday. That's about a year older than me and I can drink in the United States, though I mostly use that on grass lol. But seriously, time fuckin flies. One day I'm 15 during covid and trying to be edgy on Discord because I had no real irl friends. Then I'm 21, I got the coolest girlfriend in the world and a few actually good friends in my life. But in between I had the Lock Legion, my og hood, fuckin love yall still. But really, I been having the scratch in my brain to make stuff again and I had fun making this, even if I did just want it to end. There was more to the script but I cut it half way through and remade the last part. I made this in like 4 hours and it's 1 AM right now and I got work tomorrow. So I just added who was gonna be in it to the end. Also funny thing about this, Instead of Smashed / Leaf it was going to be Samegame / Ducky. But I decided I wanted to only do stuff with people actually active in the Discord. I also swapped the lines that Smashed and Leaf had, idk why but Leaf's lines and voice on Smashed scratched mah brains better, I also almost replaced Zteagh with Banana but I didn't get that far so I just kept Zteagh in, also he is the only real admin in our server so I guess he is the one that actually runs things. Also Ivan is a dude from Bulgaria that keeps posting Bulgarian nationalism and vegan activist stuff, but it's entertaining to watch, I been watching him do this for years and now he finally gets into a flash. Also here is a really cool Imp Lock figure my younger brother made (he doesn't understand that his face is a keyhole but I still love it)<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/600/iu_1600679_7885193.webp" alt="iu_1600679_7885193.webp" data-smart-scale="764,1232"> Also here's a sexy drawing of Samegame that got turned into Smashed<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/600/iu_1600682_7885193.png" alt="iu_1600682_7885193.png" data-smart-scale="502,523"> Funny thing is, if I'm remembering right I actually joined on Lock Day, we aint gotta talk about my original Lock because it embarrasses me. But that would mean today is the 6th anniversary of me being here. It may not seem like much, especially with how many people both new and old have vanished from the LL since 2020 but god damn I'm putting my heart into writing this, almost makes me want to cry. Time spent working on this: Roughly 4:19:58.17 Credits:Music - Exhilarate by Kevin MacleodSounds - Team Fortress 2 and RobloxImages - Idk lol, google Also I get the Key Of Glorton if nobody else but me posts an animation this year

Hallucination

Song - All Bliss (Garn47) The rules were to tell a comprehensive story though a film that's only one minute long. and i chose animation. And i think i missed the comprehensive part lol. it was very clumped together due to the 1 minute lock, but im half proud of how it came out. This is guy actually won first place in my school county for a Technology Competition. I really don't like it. at all...it could've been better to be honest. but i know people love art period, So ill post what i made. I just used Rines Story from STS, a story me and my twin brother are writing. Here's the the context. (EXTRA INFO GIVEN TO THE TEACHER.) In this Animated Music Video, about loss and new beginnings, this will be almost storyboard like with a small hint of life. its about how rine and youth end up in somewhere entirely new. the video will be hand-drawn, and the characters will vary in color to showcase main feelings and emotions. mostly purple to show how privileged Rine's life was before the war. it will also feature an absence of faces to keep the simplicity. The music will be a somber opera like music. It's All surrounding the theme of loss. ---let's be honest. This story wasn't made on the spot. But it was dumbed down in creation for this music video. It's a plot for something much larger that is currently being worked on. The reason I chose this story of mine was because of its symbolism for my personal life. Growing up me and my family were moving once every 2 years mostly during Halloween. Which led to us missing some pretty cool memories. Me and my twin brother were forced to make new friends over and over and this story kind of resembles that. Rine would be me, struggling with identity and just moving into high school, And G.Y would be my brother. Quiet, Smart. Etc. I know the loss of home more than anyone when it comes to this sort of stuff. That's why I believe this story will be great when others can relate. Even if they don't relate, It's still a pretty dang interesting story.

Or so it seems.-----Not too happy with this one to be honest. It's the biggest interlude segment thus far, with just a bunch of meandering and not much happening or progressing. Really wanted to give up several times because of it, but I'd already finished too much of it to just let it go to waste, so I pushed through. Long-term video projects are really difficult when you don't have eternal free time on your hands, as I've come to learn.Hope you enjoy despite all of this. Spooky Month - Piercing Tricks

this animation is based on madness combat

Hello everyone! This is actually my first time creating a full Madness Combat-style animation. Since Sanford is one of my favorite characters, I decided to animate him in this project. So yeah… that’s it. Enjoy the video! 🎨 Sprites / BackgroundSanford: made by meSanford’s weapons: made by meMAG Agent: made by meOther weapons: some from Madness CombatBackground: made by meGore effects: made by me 🔊 Sound EffectsSFX: from CapCut &amp; Madness CombatBackground sound: from CapCut 💡 Fun Fact (not important 😆)The term “Sanfording” was inspired by a comment from Gabriel Barsch on the video Madness Combat: Interworld Part 1.The comment said: “they're sanfording and deimoing the whole place”I thought the word “Sanfording” sounded really cool… so I decided to use it 😄 ⚠️ DisclaimerAll content related to Madness Combat belongs to Krinkels.I do not claim ownership of Madness Combat. If there are any issues or concerns regarding this video, I am willing to take it down. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to like &amp; subscribe 😎🔥 subscribe lord 😎 krinkels: <a href="https://youtube.com/@krinkelsng?si=myl_bmPib8VFiIRi" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://youtube.com/@krinkelsng?si=myl_bmPib8VFiIRi</a>

Sanford VS MAG AGENT

What do you get when you combine two of the most powerful mutants ever? Well...

I've had this X-Men gag idea for the longest time, and only a few months ago I decided to bring it to fruition. Lots of people on Instagram were saying that his name should be "Wolverclops" or "Cyclorine", but I just think they're wrong. "Cycloverine" rocks. Some were suggesting that he should shoot lasers out of his knuckles too, that'd be cool, I wish I had thought of that, now I'm too lazy to go back and update the gag... The original video had Yngwie Malmsteen's "Rising Force" for the soundtrack, but since Newgrounds doesn't allow you to upload videos with unlicensed music, I decided to use this track made by Ichavasse that I found here on the website and I think it suits the video really well, maybe even better than "Rising Force". Really dope track too. In case you wanna watch the original video on YouTube: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/shorts/k5L44-gz_7c" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/shorts/k5L44-gz_7c</a> Instagram: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/guycxanimation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.instagram.com/guycxanimation/</a>YouTube: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@guycxanimation" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/@guycxanimation</a>Website: <a href="https://cargocollective.com/guycharnaux" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://cargocollective.com/guycharnaux</a>

Just a simple lip sync test. Nothing special :)

This was a project for my animation class, I got the audio from Satam or that one really cool Sonic cartoon from the 90’s. Funnily enough, we were only told to do 5 or 6 seconds. If you saw the run time, yeah. When I found the clip, I wanted to do what was basically the whole joke of the scene which made it twelve seconds. I’m pretty sick in the head, so I got this in on time the day it was due. So enjoy! btw, this is the art from the thumbnail:<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/573/iu_1573910_23404997.png" width="764" height="461" alt="iu_1573910_23404997.png" data-smart-scale="764,461"> see ya around :)

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571748_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571748_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,296">VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 3: THE CLAW! Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571729_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571729_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="341,606">THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571750_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571750_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="248,419"> WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband &amp; wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/571/iu_1571751_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1571751_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,316">

Wanted to really make this one feel unique so went with a more creepy vibe for Makima. Haveing her prey locked up somewhere to savour until shes feeling peckish again and teasing those who are next with a big tum~ Was a fun one to try make. Her having a tum at the begginning is up to interpritation, cos i just wanted her to have a tum from the start. so either is just left overs from preivious prey, or shes just been stuffing herself and wanted something to finish, or shes preggers... up to you. I really tried my best to keep her on model as much as possible. I still struggle a lot with faces and proportions so it was a real challenge. Giving her that shadow across the eyes was something i wanted from the beggining and to sell it as much as i could I went in and gave her eyes some focus with soft colours and tried to make them pop as much as i can. Please tell my if it worked cos i like it but am unsure. Also tried lip syncing for that end piece, hope that looks decent enough too!

A short film about a captain who underestimates a monster. An animation exercise

Few parts of the animation were surprisingly challenging. The ocean movement and waves were fun to animate, but the boat shots required a bit more thought. Since the boat is drawn in 2D and not a real 3D object, rotating and changing angles had to be done manually to keep the illusion working. For example, when the boat tilts and the camera angle changes, I had to adjust the drawing so it feels like the boat is turning in space, even though it's really just a flat drawing. The top-down shot of the boat was also tricky. As the camera pulls away, the captain had to look upward toward the viewer, and the cabin needed a slight backward tilt. In the real world you would naturally see a bit more of the top surfaces when the camera moves farther away, so I had to fake that perspective shift in 2D. Interestingly, the sea monster itself wasn't the hardest part. The most challenging bit was actually the water splash when the monster emerges from the ocean. Getting the motion of the water to feel energetic and believable took a lot more tweaking than I expected.Everything in this animation was created using Arttista, a 2D illustration and animation tool that I built myself. I've been using projects like this to experiment with different animation workflows and features while developing it. Sea Monster Hunter

Not my first rodeo, but first animation upload!

Finished April 15th 2025 Welp, for some reason, Brek has gained access to a news station for his very own news broadcast, and his friends also came to help out too! I wonder what can go wrong... I did all of the voice acting and animation, the music is royalty-free and is produced by Kevin MacLeod, great guyAnyway, this was made a year ago, and its kinda cringe, but its still cool! Please enjoy, and if you have questions about any of these guys (because the lore goes really deep), feel free to comment!(P.S, I didn't have a thumbnail ready, so i just put my pfp art in there, but its not technically false advertising, right?) Starring Brek (The blue/magenta rabbit robot thing)Rivit (Pink/yellow robot microwave)Ribzin (The orange mean cat)Blizzard (The white/turquoise cat)Radical: The Stickman who got forgottenPedro (The redhead who's tweaking out for some reason)Radium (The toxic green and yellow fox who owns a big giant soda company and helped pay for this very broadcast)Made with Adobe Premiere, Animate, and Garageband for recording the lines

Awesome Sauce: A News Spoof

Introducing my solo game project, Misfit Company!

Hey everyone! I left Newgrounds a while ago to pursue some projects, and now I want to come back to start sharing my art and other projects! I am thrilled to finally share what I have been working on through a lot of late nights over the past year! Here is a teaser of my first solo indie game, "Misfit Company."Lead a squad of specialists deep behind enemy lines in a gritty, boots-on-the-ground struggle to dismantle the enemy's war machine from the inside out. You will face down engines of war on land and in the air, all in an effort to prevent the launch of a mechanical abomination that threatens to reshape the continent. The goal of this project is to combine the handcrafted frame-by-frame visuals of the most captivating aspects of today's animated films and television shows while giving the player a seamless action-packed narrative experience where every finisher and interaction feels like a scene from a top-tier animated series. Now that I am finally sharing this project, I want to give some context on how this project has progressed over the past year. I am currently working on this project as a solo developer, and everything you see in the screenshots and teaser was created entirely by me. It's been a ton of fun but a lot to manage while balancing a full-time job and children to raise. In the fall of 2024, I was laid off and was just coming off Halo Infinite, so I took some time to reset, and after a few weeks, I was interviewing with Riot and actually received an offer to join the team down in Sydney. I sadly didn't take the job at that time because I had the opportunity to work with a few past colleagues on some really cool stuff at Meta, and it allowed my kids to stay close to their relatives here in Canada. In November, I was watching Arcane, and I had an idea for a project that hit me like a freight train, and that would become this story of a band of Misfits. As I went into 2025, I already wrote out the foundation for the story and was starting to storyboard out every cinematic the game would require while scouring my film and game libraries for as much storytelling reference as possible. As the year progressed, I started working on the prototype, but also created a large library of concept art, 3D assets, and fully polished characters that would help establish the art direction. What has been really exciting is that I am producing everything on my own with a fresh mindset towards production compared to my AAA experience, and creating a purely handcrafted experience using my 10+ years of experience in games.
