Tim & Mom's KOOl ARBITRARIOUS KARTOON

We TST hosts apparently spend our weekends quite differently from eachother.

I'm still not sure where this footage is coming from, but I keep finding VHS tapes around the studio. Apparently this is what E;R is doing when he say he needs a "Rain check for this week." This was the animated intro for The Today Show Tonight - #44, and originally aired August 28th, 2026. I created, animated, and edited everything seen in the video, outside of the audio. (And the ant) This animation was admittedly a bit thrown together at the last minute, so it's a bit rough around the edges, but I'm putting together more dynamic environments and props. The ant was a free model I found online, that I have since lost the link to, but it was under CC license so I think I'm good. I don't think I would've gotten to do the gag I wanted if I hadn't found that model, as it's a throwback to an older episode of the podcast where Johann was eaten alive by ants. Go check it out. The audio is from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" | S2 EP10 | Super Trivia Pictured in this AnimationMyselfE;RPancreasnoworkJohanntheButcher

Miska Day 2026

A very short video I posted to my Instagram a few months ago.

This is an older video so the animation is real rough, but I'm still pretty happy with how it came out. This was the first short I spent more than a couple days on. Probably not very relevant right now considering I made this just after the backrooms movie but figured I'd post it here to kick things off.

Backrooms Catastrophe

Hi! Here is an animation showing the origins of one of my main characters.

Hi! Here is an animation showing the origins of one of my main characters. I have to admit that the animation looks a bit rough in places because it was a project from a long time ago; I recently decided to finish it by adding sound and a few extra scenes. I plan to remaster this animation with better quality and so on—it might even become the first episode or pilot for *Shoort Toons*! I hope you enjoy it. (Apologies that the animation doesn't have English subtitles.)

Origins of Karry

Unfinished, rough animation I’m I finished and moving onto the eighth rough animation

Currently, I’m working on the rough version of the project and I’ll probably be done with all of it in like a year. I recently started using rough animator(the app) and procreate and there both actually pretty good so I’ll probably be using them to animate for a while. See y’all in 2027.

To avoid any music copyright issues on the platform but still be a part of Madness Day 2026, I’m hosting my animatic on YouTube via this embed <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0Wri9Uc5S1w?si=TABAhDtyAwZqbwpt#ngq:560:315" data-smart-scale="560,315"></iframe> Happy Madness Day 2026, everyone! Honestly, I only remembered about Madness Day toward the end of August. I guess I realized just in time that I needed to finally make something after all my time in this community—especially for the anniversary celebration!Originally, I planned to make this project in 3D. But I ended up wasting a whole day just trying to make a stylized Hank model, so I eventually gave up. I realized it would take way too long. With only 20 days left before Madness Day, I just animated the scenes as fast as I could to make the deadline. That’s why it’s in a rough sketch style. I don't have many fully finished animations under my belt, but overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out! And by the way, my cat did all the animation<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/672/iu_1672898_29108901.webp" alt="iu_1672898_29108901.webp" data-smart-scale="764,523">

The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: <a href="https://youtu.be/2xDUeHmDdMI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Super Mario Over the Years! 1</a> - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following: <ul><li>Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game</li><li>References to different Nintendo game console generations</li><li>5 cherries to give you "invincibility"</li><li>2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"</li><li>Franchise game/console codenames</li><li>A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):</li></ul>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. I'm finally back after a long time away. This is my very first attempt at animation, ever. Hope you enjoy it :) It was really rough and I stepped on every rake there was, but I've fallen in love with the craft and I'm planning to keep growing in it. I got super lucky having some background in sound recording and mixing. Princess Luna

Kid on an imaginary trip to space from the hospital elevator.

This animation is based off of my experience (imaginary and non-imaginary) as a kid who has been to the hospital more times than I would like to count. Since I am (was?) a rare case with a non-cancerous tumor, it was dangerously close to my brain resulting in surgery. So ever since then I have had one eye closed from the age of 2. Maybe a parody of my experiences will come next, I dunno, the possibilities are endless. The music in here is also what I created from scratch by me with the app Garage Band. Rough Animator was used for the animation. It’s also on my youtube channel, Art Bomba, no need to go there though since that place is crawling with AI &gt;:( BLEH!

Fur—a powerful Phantom possessing a consciousness far superior to that of other creatures. Furnoc’s darkness owes its very birth to this being. It stole the sun, moon, and stars back when they took forms other than the Primary Lights known in Lumak’s era. Using its powers, Fur created a wide variety of creatures and guarded its fellow Phantoms like a sentinel. It is said that the existence of Light-Eaters is like a lingering remnant of this Phantoms memory. The story of Fur was recorded in ancient Phantom writings. How Fur disappeared is an apparently lost mystery... I want to create an own video game that will uncover this secret. It will be a prequel to the times of Raining Ink, when Phantoms were an oppressed species. It contains elements that exactly match my inner world. Everything I write about it is a rough concept. The very first rough idea of my VR game!I apologize for taking so long but working on 3 different apps, games, and teaser, plus preparing everything here and the printing/etc with the resin prototype minis for casting was quite a lot, but I'm happy to show you the main idea and what I'm working towards. The one person voting on the Patreon poll will be happy as this has the potential for a full-body VR experience! A seated VR viewer in connection with NFC minis for all animations and fun interactions with the dolls of Nescience. I'll finish the seated VR version first, making at least 1-3 new animations/clothes/events/IK physical interactions and settings for it and everything for the NFC minis in customization/saves, etc, while printing the first test resin minis like you see here! Keep in mind most of it is already ingame and also very rough WIP, as I am already reworking most of the props and animations etc right now :) If everything works out in the production of the minis, the main idea is; you can paint the blank polyutherne version of your minis and customize them in-game and save it to your own mini creation, really making it your own, while forcing me to work more in UE5 and on my VR game/thirdperson shooter which will have the same technology as the minis so you can inject your creation into it! You'll hear more when I have a small lvl finished for it or more videos showing the main idea or story for it.(I know that painting twice is more tedious but scanning and somehow getting all the paint detail etc on it from the mini to UE5 may be impossible with the current budget, for a small payment I could paint it in UE5 for those who really want a specific color pattern or clothing) First I'll finish this VR/flatscreen demo fully working with NFC stickers. Then if the minifigure manufacturing works, I can extend the VR game, make it free with the Fuelp pup as a free2play choice and I add more customization to your mini in UE5. So you can customize the UE5 characters so they're the same color you painted and save files in the chip inside the mini for your own special character experience! Even when the NFC minis and printing stuff don't work out, you'll still receive a VR game with/or without merch :D Give me your points and ideas! You'll find more detail and behind-the-scenes in the Patreon post :)

Megatron Obliterates Ironhide - The Transformers The Movie Reanimated

After working on shots for <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1044252">Unleashed ReAwakened</a> in 2022 and <a href="https://www.tumblr.com/celticwerewolfdraws/746843266696232960/my-scene-for-gguycools-rayman-sings-sex-bomb?source=embed" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rayman Sings Sex Bomb ReAnimated</a> in 2024 (I can’t upload my shot for the latter onto Newgrounds as it uses unlicensed music -_-;; ) I hadn’t animated anything in about a year due to life, mental health and whatnot. Realising this, decided I should continue to flex my animation muscles, using Rayman again! (cause he lives in my head rent-free :P ) The aim of this piece was to practice character acting and lip-syncing, and I think it was pretty successful in those areas. This was originally just meant to me a pencil test but I had the itch to ink and colour it so I just went along with that. I took way too long to finish this thing, having started it in April 2025 and completing it this month (July 2026) Once again this was due to life and my mental health struggles getting in the way. For my next animation however, I'm gonna aim to keep at it and try not to let my anxiety and insecurities get in the way. Whaddup, it's been a minute. I already wrote my thoughts on the longer break down in the recent <a href="https://www.patreon.com/DasBurstling/posts/so-last-two-huh-165004952" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">patreon post</a> I made, so I'll only talk about the animation itself here. I really fucking struggled with this one! (evidently) This is definitely one of the more challenging animations I've done so far despite technically being so simple (conceptually). One big issue I had is that I want to be able to trust my own roughs, so I've started putting extra time into them - which raised the bar for what I'm happy with as early as the roughs stage now, which in turn means I spend like 4 times the amount of time on the whole thing that I usually would've.I also tried out some tricks to raise the fidelity of the shading by doing the full blockout cel shading frame by frame, then erasing it in certain spots to give a softer look. I'm quite happy with how it turned out overall, definitely worth the effort. More coming soon as before, hopefully without a 2 month gap this time. Peace-Burst

I'M OPEN TO WORK! (Freelance | WFH or Cebu City-based | Media for all ages, especially kids media) It's been a long time since I've had a paid character design gig, so after further consideration, I've decided to dip my toes into animation! I'm currently a part-time animation teacher and I have been teaching for almost 3 years already.
