Short skit using my characters from "The Glare" and an audio by Glopsicle

A short skit I did using audio by Glopsicle and my characters for my indie animated pilot in the works called "The Glare"! Some character designs are exaggerated, and I made the background pinker than it usually would, but please enjoy this small snippet of character interaction

That one friend | The Glare

A cozy-ish cabin scene with a few spooky characters doing small things in the background.

Here's an animation I rendered in Blender 4.1. It's a cozy-ish nighttime cabin scene with a few spooky characters reading or doing small things in the background, along with some spooky music playing and some ambient fire crackling sounds (basically mimicking those lo-fi videos a bit). The characters are Karaka and Kiduna, both by an artist called Merafume. The models were made by Sumsnermin. I used a procedural toon flame material for the fire This animation was actually made last year for Halloween , but all of the materials and modifiers that the models had were a lot for this meh-level computer to handle. Rendering it took over 70 hours total over about a month of separate sessions. I couldn't meet the Halloween deadline, so I saved the video for the next year. A small robot finds himself in a "checkup." But what's really going on?

A small robot finds himself in a quick checkup. But for what? The full purpose of this video was to check how much can I shove into a Moho Pro character. And truth be told? As clunky as the software can feel, it is impressive how much mileage you can get out of a single, simple character. Moho has a lot of versatility, but the issue is that the Moho Folks themselves don't give you great workflow tutorials or what, and even the tutorials they DO give you don't quite get across the insane versatility the software can do if you know how to handle it. Nonetheless, I am quite excited for the coming weeks. This is a character I've had in mind for quite a while, and I wanna see what else I can do with him. This took a total of 5-6 days, since I was also working on other things happening too. A Small, Quick Checkup [Original]

Nevada turns into a hellish landscape plagued by demons and destruction.

Following the events that occurred during Madness Combat 10 and 11, Nevada has been compromised by hundreds of improbability events that have made reality itself completely unstable. During that period, massive energy readings originating from the most remote places of the Other Side began to appear. In the depths of Purgatory, far away from Nevada, in places beyond the Machine, a reality that had remained hidden all this time beneath Nevada begins to emerge: a new, deeper Hell, even more chaotic than Purgatory itself, where all the remnants of the improbability and madness that occurred in Nevada had been accumulating, until it finally escaped toward the surface. In a small AAHW base, a massive energy leak originating from that deep Hell emerges. Everything depends solely on an ATP soldier, who will have to make his way through an entire Hell if he wants to survive and alert his fellow agents of the events about to take place. Madness Nevada's Hell started as a small animation idea that over time became something more ambitious, and there are plans to make more episodes about this universe, with new characters, a completely different Madness Combat world, an entirely new and elaborate story and narrative, and above all, lots of demons, violence, madness, and heavy Cheshcore-Metal.

Madness Nevada's Hell | Prologue

A man attempts to drink a bottle of water to quench his thirst, but it goes very wrong.

good mornable folks! i'm finally back! i SERIOUSLY apologize for the long break between animations, though i am not quite sure if yall care anyway because my last animation was blammed out of the site (i don't feel bad, though, it was a macromedia flash 8 animation test). this one was very quick to finish, though then again i put absolutely zero work on the backgrounds and the character. i thought of this idea right before i went to bed one night, and i figured it was funny enough to make it real thing. this was also the first animation in which i drew storyboards for, shown below.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/663/iu_1663919_26161781.webp" alt="iu_1663919_26161781.webp" data-smart-scale="764,573"><img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/663/iu_1663925_26161781.webp" alt="iu_1663925_26161781.webp" data-smart-scale="764,573">the voice work was done by me. literally just me. the coughing sounds were also real. i actually did drink a bottle of water through the wrong pipe for this animation. anything for entertainment! overall, i'm quite proud of this animation. it doesn't look terrible (TO MY STANDARDS!!!) and the lip syncing was on point. even though this was my third animation i've done on flash 8 (the first one was the aforementioned test and the second one was a small scene of a show that was uploaded on youtube - search "bgesvil" on that site and click the most recent video to see it, it's like the second or third scene), i feel this stupid little video is a favorite of mine. i hope you enjoyed this small animation. if you didn't, that's okay. i'm still learning this 21-year-old software (i couldn't make up my mind as to what animating software to use on my computer), so some constructive criticism is appreciated. will i continue to make animations? hell yeah! HOWEVER, my output's gonna remain as slow as it is right now because i'm starting technical college in 3 days (at time of writing), and i don't want to fall behind on any work.

Wrong Pipe

Small experimental animation project I did for a class Spring 2025. You may recognize it's characters from Screwypilled Tooncels as at this point in time a lot of ideas for that series were starting to come together. I was working on test animation and writing Rick's Demon Dilemma so River, Styx and Lavathorn appearing here was my way of previewing them to people. Likewise, you can see a Hellhound from Hellhounds, and Fuzzy and Fluffy from Fuzzy and Fluffy, who first appeared in a 3D animation project. You can tell I was really starting to plant the seeds for my future work here. This was actually a part of a VR installation where people could watch it in a virtual world and it was projected up drive-in style. My professor was kind of a zealot for all this dumb techy gimmick stuff that I can't even begin to understand I just wanted to make silly cartoons. My pitch for this was Roger Rabbit meets FNAF. It's actually called Liminal Locust, in reference to the name of the warehouse the final exhibition took place(some of the photos here are even from the warehouse) but obviously that doesn't make too much sense out of the building. And let me tell you, that night was PAINFUL. They focused on our VR work for like 30 minutes max and the rest of the night was devoted to listening to these awful ''experimental'' musicians who were just screeching and playing noise from a box, I was laughing so hard and holding onto my friend for dear life. <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kneesuschrist/weirdcore-toons">Other Weirdcore Toons art</a> <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y85HiIt4m_8" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Watch on the 'Tube</a>

Weirdcore Toons(2025)

A neat little animation (with sound effects!! wowzies!!)

Hihi agaaiiiin, its been a small little bit, but I've been enjoying the break i have before universityso i decided to make this!! I used this animation to explore another monster instead of Gertrudethat being the absconder .o. a dark reflection of Ruth that lives in bitterness and envy in acknowledgement of what she losti also implemented a secondary character: Abigail! A homeless woman who ended up getting wrapped up in whatever torment the abyss of the hospital has to offer. the sound effects are also a new thing :D i got them from freesounds.org, i think it wouldve been a bit too flat if i didnt include any lol (If i need to credit someone ill happily add them) and the music during the later part is the track "Is that the door" by Zero-Gthe voice of Abigail is done by my friendo at <a href="http://www.youtube.com/@WildNeo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.youtube.com/@WildNeo</a>(they did splendificus!!)and the voice of Ruth and the absconder was done by mei was originally going to implement actual vocal noises for the voice indicators, but I instead decided to go with sound effects to indicate whos speaking, perhaps ill do that next time when im more experienced .O.critique is appreciated :3 thankyouuuu

Maternity Leave - Absconder encounter

Take a peek at a Cat's definitely "non-stolen" merchandise.

It's Zoey's Shop! The place where other felines can get themselves some goodies. Her owner keeps wondering how some items in his house get lost without a trace, furthermore, he keeps wondering why his cat suddenly has a new house, toys and yarn balls. Naaaah... must be his imagination. Song is from MINDWAVE, from that one clock minigame.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I recently got myself Aseprite, and wanted to do an animation so I could get used to the Interface and Shortcuts. As a test, I made a small walk cycle with a character of mine. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/659/iu_1659262_27833284.gif" alt="iu_1659262_27833284.gif" data-smart-scale="320,320">His name is "Shell" Perhaps some day you'll learn more about him? Who knows... Anyway, I wanted to make an "actual" animation with the software, so I kept brainstorming ideas for what it could be. At the time, "DELTARUNE Chapter 5" came out, and there's a certain section with a Shopkeeper, it features a really nice pixel art background. So I decided to make it a Shop. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/659/iu_1659261_27833284.png" alt="iu_1659261_27833284.png" data-smart-scale="764,397"> I quickly got the hang of it (Well... most of it). The CRT Filter was just a neat little touch I wanted to add, I think it looks cool :) Hope you enjoyed the animation!

Zoey's Shop

Spaced out! (sort of). Also new character: presenting Olive!

Sinopsis: Bobby, Nitwit, Small and Olive (new pink roach character) fly to space to go to an currently unknown planet. However, they get arrested just when they step in there for the first time.

I realised in the original project that my writing just wasn't going to cut it. I kept coming back over time to rewrite and expand ideas, even changing protagonists twice. During this time the setting was also integrated into Mr. Sarge's Shards of Imphyror universe, hence the new title. I want to give the full project the best chance it can, so I'm keeping these entries very small and manageable. I also wanted to balance action and character interaction sequences more evenly this time. This is the kind of experimentation I always enjoy doing. It pains me that I have no idea how any of this will turn out but I'm excited to finally realise a project I thought would never happen. Enjoy, or maybe don't.

A report between 3 Petrieu on a small planet located near the borders of Riquis territoryA world where Riquis forces have partially withdrawn to join the Great Battle, allowing small research teams from the Voxsaria Empire to investigate Riquis worlds, which remain extremely hostile This video was not made with AI in any way (clanker) everything comes from my own imagination The dialogue can be quite long, but I tried to make it sound like military radio communications, inspired by the original MW2 and the Combine from Half-Life 2 Because I absolutely love listening to military radio communications and having them playing in the backgroundIt also gave me the opportunity to practice writing conversations between characters As for the voices, they come from Apple, because my English is not good enough yet to use my own voice in my animationsAs for the sound effects used in this animation, most of them come from Epidemic Soun I hope you enjoyed it, and I wish you a good day

WIP teaser and Idea of a VR NSFW game in the Nescience CORP universe!

The very first rough idea of my VR game!I apologize for taking so long but working on 3 different apps, games, and teaser, plus preparing everything here and the printing/etc with the resin prototype minis for casting was quite a lot, but I'm happy to show you the main idea and what I'm working towards. The one person voting on the Patreon poll will be happy as this has the potential for a full-body VR experience! A seated VR viewer in connection with NFC minis for all animations and fun interactions with the dolls of Nescience. I'll finish the seated VR version first, making at least 1-3 new animations/clothes/events/IK physical interactions and settings for it and everything for the NFC minis in customization/saves, etc, while printing the first test resin minis like you see here! Keep in mind most of it is already ingame and also very rough WIP, as I am already reworking most of the props and animations etc right now :) If everything works out in the production of the minis, the main idea is; you can paint the blank polyutherne version of your minis and customize them in-game and save it to your own mini creation, really making it your own, while forcing me to work more in UE5 and on my VR game/thirdperson shooter which will have the same technology as the minis so you can inject your creation into it! You'll hear more when I have a small lvl finished for it or more videos showing the main idea or story for it.(I know that painting twice is more tedious but scanning and somehow getting all the paint detail etc on it from the mini to UE5 may be impossible with the current budget, for a small payment I could paint it in UE5 for those who really want a specific color pattern or clothing) First I'll finish this VR/flatscreen demo fully working with NFC stickers. Then if the minifigure manufacturing works, I can extend the VR game, make it free with the Fuelp pup as a free2play choice and I add more customization to your mini in UE5. So you can customize the UE5 characters so they're the same color you painted and save files in the chip inside the mini for your own special character experience! Even when the NFC minis and printing stuff don't work out, you'll still receive a VR game with/or without merch :D Give me your points and ideas! You'll find more detail and behind-the-scenes in the Patreon post :)

Hiiiiiii!!!!!!! :3 I'm Xilanii/BrainSpill_Toons welcome to my channel (trailer)like i said in the video, this isn't my first one. sooo, sorry to anyone who felt scammed.If you like to support small creators who are into multimedia, or you like simplistic but unique animations and characters then you're in the right place. :DI would like to do more than Animated shorts and animated music videos, maybe things like commentary, rants or tutorials. but that will depend on how much time I have for that stuff, so yeah.*Note For Newgrounds People: This Video was for my YT, so there are some things you might not understand if you don't have YT, sorry.But I still hope you are looking forward to my content :&gt;

Animation test that got bigger than I thought it would

I was thinking about doing something like this for one of my characters instead, but I was pretty far into this already so I just decided to finish it [ I might do the full thing at some point, I already have the whole thing choreographed ] Thought I hadn't listened to this song enough yet so while I was working on my 3rd Yume Nikki model, I wanted to do a small animation test, this was fun ! I think I got a bit better by doing this, and I can carry that over to make my other stuff look better too The main singer of the band gave me permission to use their music in my animations<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/626/iu_1626407_25644733.webp" alt="iu_1518874_25644733.webp" data-smart-scale="653,602"> [ CREDITS ]FlashDream [ 3D models and animation ]gobou-san on YouTube [ The Monoe animation at the halfway point, and the inspiration behind the model's designs ]Cheem [ The song used, Version/Inversion from Power Move : Victory Lap ]

The return yall probably didn’t expect and didn’t care for, but THE RETURN of PuggyPugsonYT’s version of TomSka’s AsdfMovie (both 15 and 16 combined in this one!)As mentioned in my previous animation’s description (FEEL LIKE YOU: <a href="https://youtu.be/jP4fbf8TvD8" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://youtu.be/jP4fbf8TvD8</a>) I’m officially back to animating random bullsh*t!Back in like 2024, I announced I would quit animating due to lack of motivation, and with that, the Mr. Caring Carl’s Cheeseburger Making animation I was working on at the time was cancelled, and the footage I worked on up to the cancellation was posted to my IG, and ever since then, I was more focused on Puggy’s Piggy Shorts, my series based off of Roblox Piggy! With now especially, with the lack of uploads recently, lesser and lesser ideas for PPS content, I’ve suddenly gained the motivation again to animate stuff, especially with me currently on summer break, might as well pass the time with making some animations during this drought of content on the channel, starting with not only that animation meme I made about my OC, Sir Geminore Staticus II, but with the return of AsdfMovie (PuggyPugsonYT Edition!) another one of those Asdf recreations that you’d see back in 2020-2021, a lil even now!Along with this, I’m considering reviving Mr. Caring Carl’s Cheeseburger Making again, along with another animation story idea I have (all previous ideas like Kyle The Cat and others never seeing the light of day) are now just scrapped, due to them being just bad ideas overall with it clearly being because I was at a younger age at the time of making those ideas. But anyways, enjoy this Asdf recreation of 15-16, but with MY characters! AsdfMovie 14 (PuggyPugsonYT Edition!) THE RETURN

"I am the Vend-a-cure 9000, please proceed to urinate, try not to splash me!" Boy, ain't this a full circle moment, the first episode of season 6 has the same villain as the FIRST episode EVER, tho history didn't fully repeat itself, but it did rhyme :D Special thanks to <a href="https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UCw3Bu8ReZqIIwssMsSx9myA" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> @jozatheman </a> for voicing Orbit Presley &amp; <a href="https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UCHWavg0YD6Dn3ip3UDqxG-g" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> @fraffron3473 </a> for voicing Dr Franklin! Despite some complications behind the scenes, it was still fun and I like the final result. It's not without flaws of course, sadly the sound design can still be hit or miss. I am sadly never home alone, so I always have to lower my PC audio to not bother others while the actual video audio becomes unintentionally louder (Or sometimes it's the opposite) But at least most of the dialogue is normal! The Music is from Quake Scourge of Armagon &amp; Half Life 1: <a href="https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/quake-mission-pack-1-scourge-of-armagon" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/quake-mission-pack-1-scourge-of-armagon</a> <a href="https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/half-life-original-soundtrack" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/half-life-original-soundtrack</a> I'm also gonna be "sharpening" my normal art style in future episodes, the more 3-Dimensional Looney Tunes Esque character designs (Whether it's the one off characters or background characters) not only don't fit with the already established cast but the intentionally limited smear movements just don't lend themselves with the more detailed designs of the older episodes, so going the UPA route is not only more fitting but it's what I prefer anyway! Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this animation, it's not super impressive or ambitious, I decided to start out small cause I haven't animated in a month cause I was on a break, but hopefully in the future, I'll be slightly more ambitious. Thanks for watching and cya in the future! you dig!

The Robot from Uranus

THIS MOVIE WAS CRAZY AS HECK! Uh this is my first video so lemme introduce my characters The pair of Sunglasses is Sunny, a 21 year old with autism who loves collecting vintage gaming items like figurines and posters! Odbert (or OD for short he likes using OD) is the main mascot of this account and the studio! he is optimistic but realistic and (like me) likes to animate! OC Animation of Thing Mimic Cover with Geminore Staticus (or Sir Gemini II)

Starting to get motivated again to make animations, starting with a little animation meme on Thing (Mimic edition) but with my OC, Geminore Staticus (or Sir Gemini II). Who is Geminore Staticus (Sir Gemini II)? Geminore is VHS Horror entity inspired by SMG4’s “Mr. Puzzles”, where I thought of making a vhs tv like character, with the inspiration of course being Analog Horror!Story: Geminore was made by an old pig by the name of Pablo Pigsworth as an advanced AI assistant to show the future technology of assistance from robots, but Geminore starts to become self-aware, wondering if this is his only purpose, or can he unlock his true potential. This makes him go rogue, making his owner “unrecognizable” and running away from home, later being captured by cult members worshipping their god known as “Bete Noire”.As a sacrifice, they use Geminore to feed the black beast, but this makes Geminore gain unspeakable powers beyond his own comprehension, and above anyone else, proceeding to slaughter the whole cult. With this new abilities Geminore (Telekinesis, Technokinesis, etc), he realizes from this moment forward, he’s unlocked his full potential, and that’s creating Tormented Entertainment! Giving him the idea to control the world he lives in, and turn it into a horror show, with survivors, and monsters under his control! This was originally a story for Puggy and his friends, but was later reformed into a story for an idea I have for a piggy fan game called “PIGGY: TORMENTERTAINMENT” a CHOICE-DRIVEN game inspired TellTale franchises. Pretty much about it, again I had a period of time where I didn’t have motivation to animate content no more, but now i do again, and I’m also currently working on the RETURN for AsdfMovie 15 (PuggyPugsonYT Edition!), along with a few animation remakes from like 2020/2021, anddd two original animations, one completely new, and another I’ve worked on before and talked about A LOT then got cancelled for my demotivation! For now, hope ya enjoy this small animation meme I made on Sir Gemini II (He’s named after Gemini Home Entertainment btw) #Animation #AnimationMeme #AnimationMemes #AnimationVideo #AnimationVideos #Vhs #VhsHorror #OC #OriginalCharacter #OriginalCharacterAnimation

FEEL LIKE YOU (Thing - Steampianist but Geminore / OC ANIMATION MEME)

Hello everyone! ✨As promised -the bed deformation update is finally here! 😏Beds now react to characters and objects placed on them. This is something I’ve wanted to add to the game for a very long time, and I finally figured out a way to make this system work with minimal impact on performance.Besides that, this update also introduces the ability to change characters’ hair colors and hairstyles. For now, this feature is only available for Azumi, but in future releases I want to gradually add more appearance options for the other characters as well. For VR mode, I’ve added a quest journal. Now you just need to turn your hand toward yourself, and you’ll be able to see your active tasks directly in the game.I also gave Elera a small rework: added a new outfit color variation, new lingerie, and replaced her hairstyle with a completely new look.I also updated all the other characters with prolapses and added two large paw-shaped fisting toys.Overall, I’m continuing to gradually improve the visual quality of the game, polish older content, and add new interesting features ❤️And very soon, you can expect the announcement of a new character we’re already working on!Thank you so much for your support. It’s only thanks to you that I’m able to keep developing and improving this project!Update build info:<ul><li>Added bed deformation system</li><li>Added hair customization for Azumi</li><li>Added a quest journal for VR mode</li><li>Added new hair for Elera</li><li>Rework base costume Elera</li><li>Added underwear for Elera</li><li>Added anal prolapse for all characters in custom mode.</li><li>Added two large fisting paw toys</li><li>Added functionality for hiding lines from VR hands for video recording</li></ul> Fixed:<ul><li>Fixed collision issues with some toys (candy dildo)</li><li>Azura's eyelashes are now visible properly</li></ul><a href="https://www.patreon.com/elera" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patreon</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/ewoera" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Twitter</a> <a href="https://discord.gg/Mkj8sFw" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Discord</a>Music licensed via Wondershare Filmora

A relaxing Blender animation with a small group of jellyfish folks

Summer is getting closer, so here's a relaxing Blender animation with a small group of jellyfish folks just chilling out at a reef. This was a project I had been doing on-and-off work on the side for two years, and I finally finished it. Animated in Blender 4.1, the scene assets come from the Gmod map "Oceanic Depths". The jellyfish lady is a model by Riceballer3D on Gumroad. The smaller jellyfish characters are Jelliette and Jelroy from Palworld. The music is the Zora's Domain theme from Ocarina of Time (if you didn't know that already) Rights/Credit to their respective owners.

Preview of my animated Pilot Mechanic Artwork showcasing one scene

Mechanic Artwork is a stop-motion steampunk series with elements of 2D and 3D animation. The Lobroach scene showcases the coast of Central Island, Gearman's City - the show's main setting, its locals and the native sealife. The lobroach is a mutated lobster-like being birthed from red chemicals in the air which alter most flora and fauna. This is a mainly worldbuilding focused scene, where we take a short break to catch a glimpse of the island before going deeper into its city, events, conflicts and people behind them all... Show Premise:The show is about human nature, war and never-ending conflict present in our day to day lives, highlighted through altered events of its original universe. After the events of The Great Chemical War turned the skies red, introducing a never seen before otherworldly element to an already alienated by conflict surviving human population, an oasis arises in the name of Central Island. In its core, however, wounds of the past remain to swell, infecting the island throughout. The infection of ideology and division, human greed and hunger for power, as well as pure hatred toward it all, boiling within the blood of the Island’s citizens. The government of Central Island – Hometown, and the rebels – Liberta Clan, now at constant war for who gets to enact and define the laws amidst desperate post-apocalyptic times. A detective, thrown into the fire of all the conflict to solve a seemingly unimportant case, spiralling into madness discovering its true purpose. A complex story intertwining the many factions and characters awaits your judgement.Welcome, dear viewer, to the world of Mechanic Artwork! ANY SUPPORT FOR THE SHOW IS ENCOURAGED AND WELCOMED! Song - All Bliss (Garn47) The rules were to tell a comprehensive story though a film that's only one minute long. and i chose animation. And i think i missed the comprehensive part lol. it was very clumped together due to the 1 minute lock, but im half proud of how it came out. This is guy actually won first place in my school county for a Technology Competition. I really don't like it. at all...it could've been better to be honest. but i know people love art period, So ill post what i made. I just used Rines Story from STS, a story me and my twin brother are writing. Here's the the context. (EXTRA INFO GIVEN TO THE TEACHER.) In this Animated Music Video, about loss and new beginnings, this will be almost storyboard like with a small hint of life. its about how rine and youth end up in somewhere entirely new. the video will be hand-drawn, and the characters will vary in color to showcase main feelings and emotions. mostly purple to show how privileged Rine's life was before the war. it will also feature an absence of faces to keep the simplicity. The music will be a somber opera like music. It's All surrounding the theme of loss. ---let's be honest. This story wasn't made on the spot. But it was dumbed down in creation for this music video. It's a plot for something much larger that is currently being worked on. The reason I chose this story of mine was because of its symbolism for my personal life. Growing up me and my family were moving once every 2 years mostly during Halloween. Which led to us missing some pretty cool memories. Me and my twin brother were forced to make new friends over and over and this story kind of resembles that. Rine would be me, struggling with identity and just moving into high school, And G.Y would be my brother. Quiet, Smart. Etc. I know the loss of home more than anyone when it comes to this sort of stuff. That's why I believe this story will be great when others can relate. Even if they don't relate, It's still a pretty dang interesting story.

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586310_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586310_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317">VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 4: IN BRUCE WE TRUST Episode 4 is upon us and I hope you enjoy it! I'm aware that many people may not have seen the original Evil Dead movie. And you don't need to have seen it to have some fun in this episode, but there are a lot of references here that are connected to the Evil Dead series. If you want some more context before watching, maybe check out the last edition of the <a href="https://voodoovids.newgrounds.com/news/post/1619729">Spooky Zine</a>. ABOUT THE SPOOKY ZINEThe spooky zine is a once a month mini mag that explores some more of the local lore and connects with the episodes and world of voodoo vids in a way that's external to the animation. They are a bit of fun, but also can contain wider context for viewers that want to have some additional context. Or maybe you just want to read more about what's happening in the wider universe. A LOVE LETTER TO EVIL DEADThis episode is a love letter to Evil Dead and nods to the horror classic in certain ways I hope you would find nostalgic and at the same time, perhaps encourage some new people to seek out The Evil dead movies if you haven't seen them. You have to have a passion for old school splatter gore horror. But it's got a great blend of gore and comic styled over the top supernatural elements that are sure to delight, and Bruce Campbell is just brilliant as Ash Williams. I'm super excited to learn that there are rumors Bruce may even return to the movies in some capacity. I know currently Bruce is battling cancer, which is awful news, but as he said himself, "Fear not, I am a tough old son-of-a-bitch".I along with many fans are wishing him a good battle and hope he gets well soon! I'd love to see him on the big screen in Evil Dead again! Beyond this point there will be episode 4 spoilers so return to read the rest after you've seen the episode. <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586325_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586325_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> BEHIND THE SCENES OF EPISODE 4This episode took a lot longer to make than the others, I hope that shows and also thank you for your patience. The script went through a few re writes and last minute changes that extended the runtime. Having every character in a single episode comes with more challenges, making sure to give each of them a good scene. But I think it was worth it as if you like any character in particular they are all present in this one. THAT ICONIC INTROIf you are familiar with Evil Dead you will have noticed I did my best to pay homage to the opener from Evil Dead 2 that explains the Necronomicon's origins. Making that was so much fun, animating the front cover of the book, combining it with some stock footage of an ocean that I tinted red, and for the "ink effect" on the page reveals I used some simple track mattes of real ink drop footage to do that. I love how it turned out.I also did the narration in the intro, I rearranged elements of the original script to work better with the set up for this parody. My goal was to allow people who've never heard of, or watched Evil dead to get up to speed as quickly as possible with the idea that "this book is bad news" TECHNICAL STUFFOne of the biggest challenges is creating new environments and props. Something you see on screen for a few seconds in a few shots has had to be created from scratch. Some times I over engineer stuff too and I probably could've made the chainsaw without an actually animated chain... but because I did, It allowed me to get some cool camera angles of it in action.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586351_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586351_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,317"> Same can be said for the shotgun that Franklin is using. it is based of the same model they used in Evil Dead 2, the original film Ash used a single barreled Winchester, but the sequel it was a 12 guage double barrel Stevens model, and later in the 3rd movie it was a double barrel Stoeger Coach Gun, which is lovingly referred to now as "The Boomstick"Ash famously saws the barrel off in Evil Dead 2. Of course I needed a forest. Not any easy set to build but I made it easy by cutting a lot of corners, the whole forest set is just a simple plane with a particle system placing tree images randomly across the surface.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586349_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586349_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,495">I made it within an hour and the lighting is doing most of the heavy lifting. which is again fairly simple. I like my renders to not take AGES. Most of the animation scenes take about 4-5 seconds per frame. So the forest was as basic as it needed to be. Paul's date cutaway was another external set that required a suburban feel to it. so I modeled some simple houses and kept camera angles to a minimum and focused only on what I needed. it was a very short scene so keeping the set small was important... but I could probably use it again in future should the need arise.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586352_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1586352_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,295">Voodoo Vids itself as a set is the biggest and most detailed because I wanted a space where I can point the camera pretty much anywhere and have a great shot. A lot of time was spent on that, but it still needs work and more will come to the set eventually. Another huge time save has been using multiple cameras within the same scene and swapping between them. traditionally I would've worked on one scene per camera shot, but using Blenders camera marker system I can have multiple cameras that I can cut to whenever I need. so I can animate the whole scene in one blend file. This also makes it easier to alter small parts or fix things in post easier without having to dig through a load of different scene files. MUFFINMuffin the Dog was referenced in the <a href="https://voodoovids.newgrounds.com/news/post/1619729">Spooky Zine</a> and fun fact, he is voiced by our own dog Podrick. Recording his various noises is fun. To get his taco crunching sounds we used a Poppadom, he very much enjoys working with us when there's food involved.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/586/iu_1586356_28415006.jpg" alt="iu_1586356_28415006.jpg" data-smart-scale="764,764">The next two episodes will probably be a little shorter again too not keep the gaps too long between them. AND for the finale there's going to be another great addition to the page that you can all experience and join in. more on that soon.We may even see some more new characters too!! FINAL NOTEThank you all for watching and a special thanks to Bruce Campbell and Director Sam Raimi for making a bonkers horror franchise that inspires fans and creators still to this day.As for Voodoo Vids please share it if you can, tell people about It! Your support is greatly appreciated with every like, vote, comment. It will be available on youtube next week, right now they remain as Newgrounds exclusives at launch. If you want to know anything else about production or things I've not mentioned here, then please ask. more than happy to answer any questions.See you in the next one! and look out for the next edition of the Spooky Zine for some more info soon!

Voodoo Vids - #4 In Bruce We Trust

My take on Zoey in ANC's old style. Not animated, but made in flash.

Small stuff. Tried emulating ANC's old flash comic style. On a different note, my apologies if you were expecting non-vore content. I am working on some but since most of my audience is there for a specific fetish, I don't usually do it, but I do have awesome stuff planned up for regular NSFW content too! Please tell me (comment) if there is anything wrong with the art. If you don't tell, I can't improve The Babyfat series belong to Adjectivenouncombo. I have his permission to use his characters. Small animation of Emera (an elf who loves showing off) the green guy doesn’t have a name yet. Anyways, not my usual content but I am branching off to other characters too besides my norm. Also I guess corn animation lol used: procreate dreams and the audio is original by me (I did a slight slap to the knee but realized it’s quite)

Emera’s sexy life

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/567/iu_1567331_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1567331_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,318">Second short for Voodoo Vids! slowly introducing new characters, here we meet Paul! In the first episode, Paul was a background reaction character for a single appearance... but I like how he looked so much that I decided maybe he is another regular. Of course, he is now a regular. Expect to see him haunting the shop more often. Some behind the scenes.I use blender for all the animation. I designed and made all the characters, painted their textures, rigged them... that has taken the longest to do. But now that I have them, essentially it's all about writing, animating and editing the final episode in premiere pro.You have to wear many hats with indie animation, often you do a bit of everything in the production pipeline. And to every animator that has had sleepless nights doing "one more shot" or "one more frame" to make their production happen. Well done. This stuff is HARD. AudioA lot of audio I gather from freesound.org Or i'll record some bits of foley myself. In this episode I sat in front of a microphone shaking a real VHS tape around to get the sound of it in the characters hands. The sound is something I try to spend a lot of time on. Panning the voices through different shots to make the characters feel like they are in the world, adding a subtle room ambient reverb, panning the voice audio when the character turns their head... Such a small thing, but it's the difference between audio that feels "in world" and audio that feels "stuck on top" Time ScalesEpisode 1 took around 2 weeks to do (not including building all the props and the sets etc) , but Episode 2 I managed in 4 days. The context of the episode matters too, If i need to make a bunch of unique props for the story that can take more time. but I could factor in an extra day to just model all the scene specific props. The exterior of Paul's house in this episode for example was a last minute addition. I had time to quickly model it. and light it. so was happy to get it in.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/567/iu_1567332_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1567332_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,318"> Cinematographygetting those nice cinematic shots is important to me, so I spent a lot of time studying the rule of thirds, and other techniques like the golden ratio. If you want to up your game on camera shots. look into this stuff, it'll take you from a bad framing loser to a Hollywood champ in no time! Simple rules to follow and they yield good results. (knowing when to break them is important too) I'm enjoying discovering what kind of show this is turning out to be, I don't have a plan or massive future goal, I just want to explore, introduce new ideas, experiment with different skill sets and channel them all into this video shop.I've got a lot of ideas about more scenarios and characters to make. I'm always open to ideas too so if you want to add something to Voodoo Vids in some way get in touch, let's talk. If you've read this far then thank you, Some people aren't interested in this stuff, but I'd like to include it for those that do enjoy some more content to read after they (hopefully) enjoyed the short. Love to hear your feedback, thoughts in general. drop a comment even if its just to say Hi :) Bren.

Voodoo Vids - #2 The Recommendation

Bonobo gives you important life tips so that you can live a better life.

A couple of years ago or so, I had this idea of creating a TikTok page for a fictional character named Bonobo that would perform small random acts every week. The idea evolved into him giving people random advices by means of his little dances. I don't know where this idea came from, but Kevin MacLeod's music (incompetech.com) surely played a huge role. I gave up on that idea quite quickly, the moment I realized I'm not a fan of TikTok. Thus, I made this little compilation of "Bonobo's Life Tips"'s greatest moments - well, all moments, actually. I really like him, it's a fun character to draw and play with, maybe one day I'll do something else with him... Bonobo's Life Tips

A short animateds shot combining a 3D background with hand drawn characters.

This small piece of animation served as a proof of concept that a 3D background and hand drawn characters could be combined in a Blender work space. It was really just supposed to be a small experiment, and fast forward 3 months later it goes without saying I got a bit lost in the sauce...For just a tiny bit of context, the main rat that we focus on in this shot is supposed to be a pizza delivery boy (which explains the pizza box in his hand) and the car chasing after him is a rival pizzeria.

SVF E3 ALL CUTSCENES

Welcome to Voodoo Vids, life with a girl running a haunted, strange video rental shop

Welcome to Voodoo VidsThis short has been a real passion project of mine. I wanted to create something that introduces a couple of characters and gives you a small glimpse into a wider world I’ve been building. If you enjoy this, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. Comments and shares are always appreciated.

Voodoo Vids - Welcome

headcanons for my upcoming indie pilot, necrosis

hey guys!! i just wanted to make a small video displaying my voice headcanons for most of the characters that will be in the pilot, which prob will be used for future voice actors to reference when i need some in the pilot. btw the pilot is still gonna take a LONG time, this was a sorta test on how good i can work with animatics (which is what the pilot will be) but it was still annoying and still looked really shitty, so ima prob do more test or such before i begin animation work. i just hope yall check it out and follow my other socials for future updates, anyway, see yall next time!! background music by Dan Van Nard (instumental cover of polly by nirvana)no sounds or voices in this video are owned or created by me

necrosis voice headcanons!!

A small animation I did of my character, Nathan giving you a warm hello! (Featuring his friend, David!) Also, watch it on YouTube!: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWHd2mJA4WE" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWHd2mJA4WE</a>

Nathan Says Hello!.flv

For context: Ezekiel Lindberg(The man holding the cigarette) is one of my many OCs and is the main villain in the fanfic "Pills 'n Needles". Laura(the woman behind him)is meant to be the woman behind him in the animation, but I hadnt came up with an appearance for her aside from describing her as "brunnette", I think I also said she had a ponytail? Thought I'd clear it up so you dont get her confused with a young CJ. Lore: Ezekiel is a car dealer with some skills that would be considered "legally questionable" by most people(specifically, hotwiring a car). He is the toxic boyfriend of CJ Valley, and to put it nicely, he doesn't treat her well and would gaslight her. He lives off of his father's inheritance along with a dark secret involving a generational curse. He is also implied to be a narcissistic, a-hole who may be obsessed with whoever he brings into his life due to them having anything that benefits him. He also has a affair partner that helps him carry out his wishes(it being unaliving CJ for her life insurance money). Note: Anything depicted within this small animation is not a reflection of the creator nor is it meant to glorify the mentioned topics and is meant to be a form of character exploration.
