"Wells Met" | Ante Up! E1

In the bustling present day of December 2026, Chris Chan was living his best life in the spotlight. His hit 90s-style sitcom, "Chris Chan: Electric Dreams", penned by the legendary Chuck Lorre of Mike & Molly fame, was topping the charts. Better than any throwback show, it turned Chris's quirky world into laugh-out-loud gold: episodes full of Sonichu zapping trolls, awkward dates, and family moments that hit right in teh feels. Fame had finally arrived. Billboards, fan meetups, custom merch. He even won a snap election to become mayor of Ruckersville, Virginia in a landslide! His first executive order was to rename the town CWCville for real, obviously. Chris was on top of the world! As a kid, Chris had a rough start. His dang ol' dad, Bob, was a gruff handyman type, always tinkering and dropping wisdom like, "Life's full of splinters, son...watch where you step." And his mom, Barbara? To Chris, she was the most beautiful, stunning, gorgeous woman alive, an angel in human form who sewed his favorite shirts and cheered his wild ideas. Through bullies, Sega ruining the color of Sonics arms, and so, so, so many girls who were NOT boyfriend free, his parents guided him toward this moment of triumph. But one ordinary afternoon at the local Starbees, everything shifted. Sipping a Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte (Available at select Starbucks near you!), Chris spotted a familiar crew of dirty trolls in the corner: the OneyPlays gang. Cory Spazkid doodling hot ladies on a heavily used napkin, Chris (Not Chris Chan. A different Chris with an epic Youtube channel) cracking up, Lyle rizzing up some baddies, and Tomar casually munching on a delicious tree star as always, green and crunchy. "OMG, it's Chris Chan" Cory whispered. They waved him over awkwardly. Chris beamed, spilling latte while attempting to wave back. His Iconic Red stripped shirt was covered in the sticky goodness. This was it. His lowest moment. Then, his phone buzzed: breaking news. Electric Dreams canceled. Ratings crashed, critics slammed it as "too much," Chuck Lorre publicly un-alived. Fans flipped to a better show like Smiling Friends overnight. Chris froze, medallion dropping into the puddle of coffee. The cafe fell somber, fame evaporating like steam from a forgotten cup. Back home in his cluttered room, surrounded by faded dreams, Chris crumbled. Dad long gone, Mom too frail, loneliness hit hard. But a soft zap glowed from his medallion. Sonichu appeared, holographic and loyal. "C'mon buddy, let's run away to some other dimension, together." Chris hugged his old friend tight, tears falling. Fame's peak had led to the deepest valley, but in the quiet tragedy, that spark of imagination endured. The end. I have tried everything within my power to slay this beast of nightmares, but as we draw closer and closer towards the eleventh hour,I must finally acknowledge its place as the true king of this accursed land.I know now that there is only one plan I can enact that has any chance of producing an acceptable outcome. If I do return from what I am about to do,it will not be for a very, very long time. This unfortunately means that,if someone is reading this, they have most certainly been left to fend for themselves alone in the dark…along with the rest of my beloved people. To whoever is reading this,I implore you to inherit my duty to The Void and keep your fellow man safe from the terrors of the night–” In The Void there exists a man,he has no past,no future and barely anything that resembles a present. The people of The Void begin to dub this strange man “The Warrenless”. If you asked him, The Warrenless would probably tell you that he considers himself a pilgrim of The Void. He tells himself and those who cross his path that his travels are in search of something important; an escape from The Void,or a safe haven from its madness,or perhaps even a one true love. He of course realises to some degree that these goals are nothing more than hopeful half-truths, for The Warrenless has no true goal in mind, he wanders The Void aimlessly in hopes that someone can finally provide him with a purpose,a wonderful purpose, one that can finally outclass the one given to him long ago by that…thing. In The Void there exists a woman, from a very young age she has been well acquainted with her true purpose in all this. The employers that watch her every move, whose visages resemble that of cats, have taken to calling her “The Inheritor”. She hates this name, hates it with every fiber of her being. In spite of this fact, she still uses it, mostly because her employers refuse to acknowledge her as anything else but also because, as time goes on, she seems to find her true name slipping further and further away from her memories. The Inheritor is now standing directly in front of The Warrenless. She was warned countless times by her employers not to do this. That this was one accursed beast not worth adding to her little caravan of creatures. Unfortunately these warnings mean nothing to her at the moment……for the impending disaster she has been trying to avoid is proving itself to be the kind of problem only an accursed beast can solve. As The Inheritor looked up at The Warrenless, she waited for either a formal response or complete annihilation. After what must have felt like an eternity of silence, The Warrenless finally asked her a question…“So…what’s your favorite color?”

Ozzy Osbourne meets actual Prince of Darkness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSWBZONXCz0

Ozzy always claimed to be the Prince of Darkness, it seems his convictions even manage to bamboozle the legions of Hell. Get Off The Stage

In this animation, I tried to express my personal understanding of the Parable of the Weeds. Why does God allow evil to remain in the world? Perhaps because many still have the chance to change — to grow, to overcome what was sown in their hearts by the enemy. Each person faces a choice: to give in to these inner weeds and vices, or to struggle against them and bear fruit before the harvest. The Parable of the Weeds

Welcome, all who venture here!So much time has passed ever since I uploaded my first animation ever (that one pixel animation from ages past). But now that I have reconsidered animating again, I have finally chosen to pursue it seriously. To those who are out of the loop, nearly two weeks ago, I wrote a very lengthy letter ("A Note To Self") congratulating one of my animator friends on reaching a new subscriber milestone. I was really at a low point both physically and mentally, all because I couldn't stop comparing myself to others, and I couldn't simply forgive myself for so many misdeeds I had committed before. So many missed projects, so many ideas wasted simply because I "weren't in the mood". But with what I had done for the entirety of last week, I can now bid farewell to all that negativity, and leave the past where it belongs. This Miniature compilation is the first one, a milestone in a long and winding path. All the way back in late January, I had my first chance to animate after so long. Stuck in a room, with my little sibling, I grabbed a stylus, turned on my phone, and started this journey. Thank goodness it was nighttime, and even though the lunar new year fireworks were certainly loud, our room was silent enough not to wake him up. If only I could keep up that pace and animate some more...Fast forward two months. I woke up to a commotion. Thousands of voices, all around a very familiar face. A man with white hair and beard was in the center of it. He was a director in his studio, whose animations made our childhood. I could never forget him, even after years had passed since the last time I watched his films. And yet, he was at the center of this giant controversy. Curious, I looked up, and realized that he was at the mercy of an utterly deplorable enemy of creativity. All of his works, once taking years to create, now could be "generated" at the click of a button. And the world could only watch, as thousands of pictures, artworks, films... soon were "remade" in his style. However, the world did not simply watch. Creators everywhere soon condemned this bastardization and commodification of creativity. Some even took things into their own hands and drew their own work, taking honest inspirations from him, with honest effort. Seeing this giant battle unfold before my eyes, a passion, long sealed inside the deep and dark corners of my mind, was suddenly rekindled. This time, I sit before my tablet, free of all distractions. I wanted to tell them, those who brazenly stood against the "tide of change", that I wanted to contribute, even if my contributions are small and unseen. And before I knew it, a week had passed, and I had done things that I could never have expected before. My mind harked back to that very lengthy letter I wrote. That letter... perhaps was the universe's calling for me to rise up from darkness, and fight for what I had once lost. So, to whatever force that allowed me to compose that letter, thank you. You had allowed me to finally realize myself for what I truly am, and cast asunder all those delusions that once defined "my life". Moreover, I am also grateful for every creator - every composer, animator, artist... whose work I had referenced and used in my creations, for they are the living proof that creation is an irreplaceable means of self-expression, that no algorithm or machine can ever "generate".I hope you enjoy this animation compilation of mine. There may be mistakes, and shortcomings that I will have to address in the future, but what is certain is that this is an honest effort that I offer to you. Thank you for supporting me, and for showing me a greater way of life.I may not be famous, but I would rather be honest. Let us preserve this honesty, now and forever.

Koubenian Miniatures, Vol. 1

Hey yall, I don’t usually like to be completely transparent when it comes to online stuff but I feel like I needed to discuss it. I know from other posts (especially the one before this) it’s been extremely vague and positive just for the sake of news on me, which all of it is true don’t get me wrong lol but I feel like I haven’t been able to gather all of my thoughts correctly for the past 2 months. I’ve been really struggling to say the least, in terms of myself and my goal as a person. The last 2 months were definitely the catalyst for all of that, it really put a test on me about what I am and what I do for not only people, but for myself. Especially my friends, it’s been an honor and a treat to see them reach new heights and work relating to big studios/creators, I don’t want to say I was jealous lol but it definitely got to me in a way that wasn’t healthy for both my mental state and art. It made myself feel like I needed to catch up with my friends in order to be great and to feel equal, trying to be as smart and sophisticated as them. Least to say it made me rush everything I do and think that “I can do that with my arm tied behind my back”, when really I’ve been falling over every few seconds lol. Again, a lot of this came to now where I really needed to ask myself “why am I doing this?” and to be completely honest, I don’t know. It still really perplexes me, but I feel like this is the perfect time to take a step back and focus on what ‘I’ want to rather than to please the algorithm or feed into my fear of being left behind. And before anything, I wanna apologize to the people whom I have affected in a way that either made them feel uncomfortable around me or trying to steal attention from them. I’ve never wanted to harm anyone and I’m truly sorry if it affected anyone that way. All I can do now is what I can, and what I’m gonna do is strive to be my best at myself, and I promise I’m gonna deliver when I want to and I promise I’ll do better. Thank you. <3

The Next Step.

upload .mp4 file and sometimes html5 files cuz why not also in this animation it featured a friends calling

Golden Boy and Gorpion have to stop the rampage of Ranch Hand!

Golden Boy and Gorpion, two goofy superheroes, have to stop the rampage of Ranch Hand! The sinister cowboy villain wants to tear down the city, and it’s up to Golden Boy and Gorpion to keep it from falling into Ranch Hand’s evil, humongous grasp. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This project is the fulfilment, of a lifelong goal of mine: to make my own original superhero-comedy animated short. It took nearly three years to make, with just me animating and doing artwork for the entire thing by myself during nights & weekends. I sincerely hope you all enjoy it, and I hope to make more adventures of Golden Boy and Gorpion soon! www.youtube.com/fleckmylifehttps://www.instagram.com/fleckmylife/https://x.com/fleckmylifehttps://bsky.app/profile/fleckmylife.bsky.social------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sound Effects -pixabay.comfreesound.org Music Attributions One Gate, One Fight - Tribal Ethno Drums Drum Drone Experimental Action Modern Cinematic Music Surround.wav by szegvari -- https://freesound.org/s/608998/ -- License: Creative Commons 0 Epic Heroic Soundtrack - Above The Sky by MusicByMisterbates -- https://freesound.org/s/716385/ -- License: Creative Commons 0 Percussion Energy - Oleg Fedak – https://pixabay.com/music/build-up-scenes-percussion-energy-143844/ – License: Creative Commons 0 Nowhere (Instrumental) - Sascha Ende – https://filmmusic.io/en/song/379-nowhere-instrumental – License: Creative Commons 0 DrumJam Conga Solo Sample Ethno Music Drums 119bpm_2022-07-15_19.12.40.wav by szegvari -- https://freesound.org/s/641823/ -- License: Creative Commons 0 Dark Forces March - Sascha Ende – https://filmmusic.io/en/song/536-dark-forces-march – License: Creative Commons 0 Chord Guitar 001 - Sascha Ende –https://filmmusic.io/en/song/556-chord-guitar-001 – License: Creative Commons 0

Hey guys, so essentially for a sort of elective class I wanted to do, I actually decided to partake a cool looking animation class, with the final project in mind being a 1 minute (or as close as you can to 1 minute lol) animation that uses more then one form of animation (in my case it was a mix of 2D, my favourite and preferred style, stop motion and live action stuff). This took me about like a month of on/off work and two weeks of pretty intense work to complete and whilst I think that the pacing of the animation can be improved upon, with some parts feeling quite rushes, it had to fit the roughly 1 minute time limit and if I gave it any more breathing room I probably would have been marked down for it lol. I feel like in general I'm pretty happy with the results, 2D stuff is stylised well and some part look quite nice, particularly the 2D stuff in the cave. However, by the end I was kind of in a mad dash to complete it by the deadlines so some of the end character 2D and stop motion bit could have been improved upon. Regardless, I still wanted to upload it as is just cause I think its an important lesson that I guess not everything that I make can be endless tinkered at and at some point I just gotta move past, say fuck it and upload it lmao (even though with more personal projects I may not follow this philosophy since I don't have an enforced deadline). Anyways, whilst I sort of just used my upcoming game that will hopefully release in the next 100 years, Alonomoly, as a framework for characters, tone and aesthetics, I think that its pretty thematically compatible with what I want the tone of the final game to be like and could potentially use this as a base to make an intro FMV cutscene lol. Also yeah, that last quote was made by me after listening to TPAB for the first time and falling in love with the album, hope it resonates with some of y'all since I think its a nice bowtie on the general themes of Alonomoly. So yeah that's just about it, might update the description for this with any further notes if I think of anything, but if you are reading this, thank you so much for taking an interest in my stuff and actually being bother to read descriptions, its a thing that people just don't do nowadays, so yeah thanks for putting in the work dawg lol. Uhhh... yeah enjoy, more art soon, more animation soon and I'll officially start my game dev journey next year, so more stuff coming, unless I die or a solar flare strikes the earth and electricity is just completely gone for like a couple months, and if that is the case, I'll have a physical billboard where I'll pin up photo copied versions of my art, give it a gander if you care. Anyways, I've yapped on long enough. Peace! ^w^ ADDITIONAL NOTES:- Also the animation specially said it had to be rendered in 1080p, so that why its only 1080 and not 1440 or even 4K like I'd do otherwise lol. Alonomoly: The Genesis - A Mixed Media Animation

I originally uploaded this video to youtube in January, didn't feel right to upload to newgrounds until October, and then I kept forgetting to all month, but I guess Halloween day is the most fitting day!!!!!!!!!!!!! Original description (edited slightly): In an attempt to get a video done for Halloween, Art looks at Luigi's Mansion, a game that can be beat in a single night, and yet he still fails to get it done on time. Who'd have thought. Patreon Supporter: TMJBtv/Purple Streak https://www.youtube.com/c/TMJBtv / https://www.youtube.com/c/PurpleStreak I started this video in 2016 as part of the original 12 episode run of AU Reviews (the rest of which still haven't come out yet), but even back then things were falling apart. I then made the OFF review instead and then this episode having to come out in October kept delaying the rest of the episodes for the past several years. I thought I was gonna get back to it in 2018 when I did the Pac-man World 2 video, then 2019 when I did the Animal Crossing video, then 2020 with the Games of the Decade videos, then finally in 2021 I said I was gonna finally finish the season off in addition to making a couple more episodes that I did start that year but haven't touched since because I was working full time. Then in October 2022, I had been unemployed for 5 months and realized I hadn't really done much to grow my online presence, so I decided to bite the bullet and finally get back to AU Reviews. The entire process of making these stopped being fun for me at some point years ago, but they're supposed to be quick to make and of all the things I make, they have the most potential to get views over time, plus I just think the end product is always super fun. So I made the plan, started working on 3 reviews in October, intending to put out all three of them that month, and then I realized halfway through the month there wasn't enough time to get them all done on time, so stupidly I decided to pivot to the Luigi's Mansion review so that I could at least get the Halloween video done in time for halloween rather than a month or two late. So much for that. So October came and went, I had 3 minutes of another review left unfinished, this one about half done, but the holiday it was supposed to come out on had passed. I had already spent two weeks on it and figured I could get it out soon after, it shouldn't matter too much if a Halloween video came out in November, after all the OFF review came out in November, and here we are now January of 2023 and it's finally finished (and now I've uploaded it to newgrounds October 2023!!!). Yeah, I didn't work on it every day or even consistently, but for the past couple weeks I have been working on it every day and close to 8 hours every day. It was really a struggle being consistent when I started, because the process is just so agonizingly boring, but I've gotten back into the groove of it. I'm sure I'll revert back to my dumbass ways once I start the next project (I did), but at least now this is finally done. It just annoys me that I didn't put out the two reviews that were supposed to release before this one, because this review serves as the conclusion to a "story arc" that started in the SimAnt review, and one of the reviews that was supposed to come out before this one continued that, but now it'll come out afterward, which is confusing for the 0 people who will actually care about that. It's not too big of a deal because it just looks like nonsense unless you're really paying attention, and even then, it's still basically nonsense. Anyways, I'd love to say I'm gonna work on my own stuff full time now that this is done and do multiple videos a week, but I've got some other obligations I need to get to first, and I'm an idiot and wasted pretty much the entire time I've been unemployed, and I'm almost out of money, so unless this blows up I'm gonna have to get another job soon. I did receive a few donations this past week though while streaming and I am genuinely grateful for that. AU Reviews: Luigi's Mansion

The sky is falling!

Hey everyone, I'm new to krita!

Luna gets struck

🍕 Song: Wavetable Jazz by Dry 🍕 So... New to Newgrounds. Changed the music in this version, but should work. One of my first posts that really took off. Full version of it available for all. Thanks for watching 🧁 THE LORE 🧁
In a far off future, a young woman by the name of Vannessa was a human with a bit of an obsession for cute boys, and so thanks to her knowledge of robotics, and working closely with friends of a Succubus Queen, she built a facility known as the Ani-Plex: This was a club of sorts that catered to those who needed pick-me-ups when they were feeling down. The main attractions, of course, being the life like and stunning stripper animatronics. These advanced robots were powered by a magical piece of tech known as a "Succubus Core", which had the power to give objects they're placed in life, as well as convert forms of lust into raw electricity.

Vanny made all these bots to please guests and make plenty of money, sure, but their main purpose was to kidnap any boys who she found cute, which she’d mark through the eyes of an animatronic known as the Marionette, or Mari, for short. If she wanted someone, they were a lucky winner for VIP treatment with a girl who’d rape them for hours… And then after hours, Vanny would come in and taste the goods. If she liked them: They became a personal pet and she’s take you home to be her fucktoy, obsessing over them until she found someone 'cuter'. She didn’t like them? Strapped in to a milker hidden in the basement where an animatronic known as Goldie was in charge of, and Goldie made sure every boy was in an endless hell of pleasure and cum production to keep her batteries nice and full...

Goldie's core went rogue years ago and formed a dark personality in the robot, as well as giving her the powers normally exclusive to that of demons and monsters... and if you were her victim, you certainly felt like prey... After about a week of being trapped in public use to be drained for the girls' pleasure and batteries, Goldie would take it upon herself to take you out of your personal gloryhole, and instead trapped you in a personal pocket dimension where she would rape, break, and fix you over and over again for eternity... No one there to save you or stop her. And she did it all for her own sick form of pleasure... Once you go missing at the Ani-Plex, there's no one to help you~

Back on the more... normal... side of things however, is the main cast of characters. They were a wide range of characters all and all, and each came with a large variation in kinks, personalities, and other features. Some if not all could be transformed into alternate color schemes on command, most of them being scented in something pleasing to smell, and all of them being fitted with milk laced with special chemicals to create special effects on their prey... And at night, they're let loose on whoever remains in the building... Nightguards often being raped, broken, and kept to themselves as long as possible, using the milk of Mari to mind-control their plaything into doing everything they could ever need...

To keep you updated on the powers of our main cast~ Have this list of the girls and their descriptions~

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Chiku the Chicken: Smells and tastes of Lemon, though without any of the sour. Her second skin is that of Glamrock Chiku, a white feathered bird with neon highlights. Her breast milk ensures you never go soft on her, which is great for keeping rape sessions going. She's super sweet during the day, offers to cook you food before sessions, but when its her turn for fun, that food is oft served on her, she loves having boys forced to eat off her ass, breasts, or anywhere else for that matter. She's also a rather big fan of smothering and blowjobs. By far the gentlest of the main three gals, though she is known to be a seductress before raping her boys into submission. She's got no real skill a breaking boys, but all the energy and lust to do it. Be careful to give her the proper amount of attention though or she may go a little crazy.

- Bonfie the Bunny: Her private parts taste like blue raspberry, though she smells of blueberries. Her second look is a much lighter blue color with white accents, people almost always seem to choose this form for her, so much of the time while she's in the facility, you should be looking for a bright blue bunny rather than a purple one. Her breast milk has a cum producing chemical in it to ensure her prey can produce much more milk than anyone could make normally, as well as numbing the pain of post orgasm fun. However, once she starts fucking you, she's a bunny, and can rape faster than any of the other girls, and is actually the most likely to accidentally fuck you to death. It's easy to snap her out of the trance though if you know how to do it, just a simple spank and she'll come back to reality, and probably give you lots of gentle rubbing, caressing, edging, and kisses, apologizing for being so rough. She's into struggling prey, and being glazed in cum. Safest way to please her is to let her give you oral, a footjob, or a handjob and cum all over her.

- Frenni the Bear: Private bits tastes like dark chocolate, smells like chocolate as well. Her breast milk has a chemical in it that paralyzes those who drink it for up to an hour after ingestion. Her alternative skin is Glamrock Frenni, which gives her bright red and blue highlights on her body, as well as making her fur slightly lighter. Personality wise, Frenni is brutal. She only cares about one thing: Her pleasure. While most girls will work with you and ensure you're alright, Frenni would rather drain you dry, get Bonfie to fill your balls back up and rape you again. Her kinks include that of smothering, worship, and humiliation (of you, not her). She's also been known to play on the edge of life and death with her prey. Testing to see how fast you can cum while sitting on you. Currently, she holds the record for most deaths caused by sex.

- Foxy the Pirate Fox: Foxy smells and tastes of Strawberries. Her alternative look is known as "Roxy the Wolf", in which she gains a silvery sheen with green and purple highlights. This is, to her amusement, the most popular form of all the animatronics. Her breast milk re-energizes her victims. She's got a thing for being wanted, loved, and adored... though that's hard because she's a total bitch to just about everyone, and if someone tells her, she'll likely to degrade them before dragging them to her room and raping them for hours, while continuing to degrade, often either killing or completely breaking the customer in the process. Her ass is the fatest of the group and she knows how to use it. She almost exclusively does anal, and smothers boys like there's no tomorrow. However, she's also Frenni's right hand woman, and does everything she asks of her. Her kinks include smothering, degradation, fingering, and anal...

- Funtime the Performer Fox: Funtime is Foxy's sister, she smells of cotton candy, and tastes like Pink Lemonade, though the colors do a lot of the "pink" part of the lemonade. Her second skin is LOLBit, which changes her eyes black and gives her a nice orange color over her pink color. Her breast milk has the ability to induce the sensitivity of post orgasm play, naturally, making you a quickshot if she forces too much of it down your throat. Just like foxy, she's got the one of the biggest ass, and has all the same kinks, personality wise though, she's the elder of the sisters, and loves to do some mommy play while she talks down to you, as well as ensuring to call you useless while she rapes you. Insulting her won't get her riled up though, it'll probably just make her laugh.

- Mari the Marionette: She's a silent type with no second form, she normally doesn't partake with much at the Ani-Plex, and doesn't even have a private room, she just gives quickies at the prize corner. She smells like coffee, and her pussy tastes like white chocolate. Her milk has the ability to mind control anyone who drinks it, making them believe anything she tells them, which is why she's the security robot. In bed though, she's a silent type who will say one or two words about you being a good dog before she uses her black binds to tie you up, and rape you... She's got a thing for leaving her black lipstick all over your cock, smothering you with her ass and tits, and bondage. Best hope you don't end up on her radar durring the day... If she has to capture you, there's a chance she rapes you for weeks before handing you off to Goldie to be drained for eternity.

- Goldie the Bear: You know her by now... She doesn't have a second form either, and she smells and tastes like apples and honey. Her milk can take any power she wants, but originally, it was meant to be extremely filling, ensuring prey didn't get hungry. With her powers though she does just about anything she wants, which is usually fucking her toys, and helping her sisters when things go awry. For instance, if you try to escape when the girls send you out to collect things, snatch you into her pocket dimension and show you what a real horny animatronic can do... And it won't be pleasant.

Enjoy your stay at the Ani-Plex, everyone~ ;)

An animatic about that time Ron Simmons and JBL got into a bunch of actual barfights

I'm thinkin' this is Season 4 Episode 10 of WWE Storytime? This was originally made for Lowbrow studios in 2019. Directed by Mike Parker, supervised by Julia Slaughter. This was the first of the WWE Storytime animatics I ever did for Lowbrow, and I love it the most. I actually wasn't raised around wrestling or the WWE, so I remember calling up my best friend from high school. He was, and still is to some extent, so I was like "I'm working on this thing. Do you know about the APA?" and he lit up and went off "AWWW DUDE, THEY'RE SO COOL!" and hyped me the hell up to work on this, and I think a lot of his second-hand excitement for the project bled into this, and I made sure I did Ron Simmons and JBL justice. To this day, I still don't watch a lot of wrestling, but because of this animatic, I keep an eye out for 'em. This was also a super challenging time in my life when I was working on this. I was still at the Cyanide & Happiness studio and I was starting sobriety. I remember I was in a headspace like "Enough is enough, I'm going cold turkey, not a drop anymore." And it was October 2019, so there were holiday / Halloween parties afoot at Explosm. I had gained a reputation as a tank- I could put beer and liquor away like nobody's business, so they were making announcements (innocently, I was being quiet about my sobriety) "Hey, if anyone wants to help empty out this keg, come and get it!" And gritted my teeth. Free alcohol within walking distance, and it had been so normalized in my weekly routine (especially Fridays) that it was really difficult to deprogram. Then I get started on this WWE thing at home, and it's ENTIRELY about drinking and having a blast while drinking and I'm just like Goddammit... it was the hardest month ever, and as I'm drawing these guys with their bigass beer mugs I'm just thinking the whole time "Sure looks like fun." ...Then it was my birthday in November, family drinks at Thanksgiving. Then it was Christmas with family. Then it was New Years Eve, while all kinds of shit was going down. Then COVID happened. Somehow I stuck with it. If I could conquer my chemical dependency to alcohol, it's bolstered my belief that I'm stronger than a lot of things. According to my EasyQuit Drinking app, I'm at 3 years 7 months 12 days as I type this. This animatic holds a really special place in my heart for a lot of reasons. It's my first contract animation job OUTSIDE of Cyanide & Happiness, first time working with Lowbrow, it was a really fun story and I got to do a lot of fun things in it. Not sure how much of it made it into the final cut. Like the Ginyu Force homage, or the "Satan Squad" logo (which I slipped in as a reference to the God musical episode of Season 3, The Cyanide & Happiness Show). But I think this one was a huge reminder to tone it down on some of the details, because they might not make it into the final product anyway and it's a big waste of time. A lesson that was repeatedly learned throughout my time with C&H, a cartoon with stick-figures, but I digress. I have a passion for details and background gags.

The villainous Dr. Robotnik confronts Sonic about his frustrations.

v1.0 — Initial release. Used chroma key to separate animation from backgrounds.v.1.1 — Used alpha channel instead of chroma key. Green line art artifacts removed.v1.2 — Added SWF version. Fixed minor color mistakes for SWF version only. COMMENTARYI started this project thinking, “Oh, yeah, I know exactly how to draw AoStH Robotnik; I don’t need to use reference!” And then every frame looked like shit. So, I went online and referred to the show itself and these two pieces of concept art by character designer Milton Knight. A good lesson in humility. I accomplished a good chunk of animation on a livestream, but the stream was struck down because I played episodes of Adventures of Sonic for my friends to watch thinking nothing would come of it. Maybe I should stream on Twitch or Picarto, accounts where I don’t really care whether they live or die. It’s a darn shame because that stream was a lot of fun! DoodleDemon and I started calling each other “blithering buckets of bolts” and watched Robotnik do a Nazi salute and that was absolutely hilarious. The show itself is a lot of fun. It’s stupid fun. Every moment Robotnik is on screen is a good time. Scratch and Grounder are great, as well. The team that worked on it—including Milton Knight, the voice actor Long John Baldry (1940–2005 R.I.P.), and the storyboard artists (including Scott Shaw! From the early Archie Sonic comics)—did a fantastic job given the limitations they worked with. Overall, I definitely prefer SatAM over AoStH, but they are both very different genres of animation. While I was working on this project, Milton Knight leaked on Facebook that Diskotech would be doing an Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog complete series release on Blu-ray and that it would contain new interviews with him. I had hoped that the release would be in HD given that it is Blu-ray and not DVD, but it was very unlikely whoever owned the rights to the show kept the film masters and only kept the master tapes, which inherently have a lower resolution. Later that year, Diskotech officially announced the complete series on Twitter. I am absolutely going to pre-order it. It comes out February 2022. If they ever release the SatAM complete series on Blu-ray (in full HD, knock on wood), I will die a happy man. Now that I think about it, I’m known by all my friends for being a huge Sonic fan, so it’s weird that it took until now for me to make a proper Sonic cartoon. This project started as a gift for MatterBoar. I felt bad that the previous animation I made for him was released in November 2020, 13 months ago, and I hadn’t made any new ones in that time. So I secretly started this one and originally intended to give it to him for free. He asked me if I was available for new animation work and I told him about this side project and he said he’d buy it! The deadline was Christmas Day. The night before, I promised myself I would work on this cartoon until it is 100% ready to release. I thought it would take maybe three hours. It ended up taking 22 hours straight. I only took three hour-long breaks to rest my hands and get a half-hour of sleep. A single cup of hot chocolate coffee got me through it! The thing that took the longest in this particular long stretch was the shot of Robotnik running in place. That took forever! I probably could have done this quicker, but I wanted to make sure each and every frame was cleaned up. I do not envy the animators of the original show. Despite how simple Robotnik’s character design looks, animating him takes a long time, especially compared to Sonic. Robotnik’s mustache and yellow jumpsuit straps in particular were very troublesome, as well as layering the different body parts. The most frustrating thing with Sonic was doing his baby blue highlights. Thankfully, Sonic hardly moves in this cartoon. (That’s kinda uncharacteristic of Sonic, but hey I’m not complaining!) I wanted to add some traditional paint-like motion blur to some of the snappier movements, but due to the deadline—and me just wanting to move on to something new—I could not do it in time. The tight shot of Robotnik’s face at the end was also supposed to be painterly, similar to the gross-out shots in SpongeBob and Ren and Stimpy, but after I took a crack at it in Clip Studio Paint, I couldn’t do it. Also, I felt that a rendered painting of a character wouldn’t fit a parody that tried to match the art style of the original show. Pre-production began in August 2021 and post-production ended on Saturday, December 25th. Normally, a 26-second-long cartoon wouldn’t take that long, but due to a myriad of continuous financial problems and setbacks, it took four months to complete. It probably would have had a better start if I had started by making storyboards. I run-and-gunned this whole cartoon and I definitely regret it. I ended up making last-minute changes to the character poses, facial expressions, etc., which isn’t something you really want to be doing a lot with deadlines involved. You want to make confident decisions in the beginning so that the changes later on will hopefully be few in number. Ordinarily, I would not do this slapdash approach with a commission. But this started out as a gift and turned into a commission later. Regardless, even quick, shoddy storyboards would have gone a long way! Lesson learned. Originally, I was going to commission my friend Dyoudi Mitimasa (@epicfunnyhahajokelol) do the background art. He is a natural at this kind of sharp, abstract art style. However, I did not have the money to commission an artist, especially at the time. So instead, I leave you with a huge recommendation to go check out Dyoudi’s art! He’s a wonderful artist and a wonderful person! Additionally, Milton Knight is still an active artist and has a Patreon! Go support him, too! I made this background art by referencing two screenshots from the show, shown in the timelapse video. At first, I was very happy with this art, especially since it was my first real attempt at abstract art. The reference really helped! But once I put it in the cartoon, something was wrong. Robotnik’s design is mostly warm colors. The background is mostly warm colors. I feel this leads to a lot of Robotnik’s movements being less readable than they should. Sonic is fine since he’s blue, orange’s complement. If I had to do the background art again, I would divide the composition into two sections: a cool section for Robotnik and a warm section for Sonic. CLIENTMatterBoar ANIMATION / BACKGROUND ART / EDITINGAlexander Emenheiser @ade-syndicate BACKGROUND MUSICDr. Robotnik's ThemeComposed by Reed Robbins and Mark SimonCover by Turret 3471 Main Title ThemeComposed by Clark GassmanIncludes motifs fromSonic 2 Title Theme and Emerald Hill Zone composed by Masato Nakamura,In the Hall of the Mountain King composed by Edvard Grieg, and Flight of the Bumblebee composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov AUDIO TAKEN FROMOneyPlays Sonic Robo Blast 2 - FINALEwith @Oney, Ding Dong, and JulianEdited by Dex the Swede FONTSPedro SPECIAL THANKS AND PATREON SUPPORTERSAnimation stream viewers, including DoodleDemon, for keeping me companyMilton Knight for being nice when I talked to him :)@SuprDee2 for being supportiveand giving me a new version of Toon BoomDyoudi Mitimasa @epicfunnyhahajokelol PATREON & KO-FI SUPPORTERSAleahAshleyFroggyDuwudeViktor Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog © SEGA, DIC Entertainment 1993 P.S. — I’m working on a new project right now! 2 birds kissing... and what a kiss it is!

September 2019 A simple lil toon of two small birds sharing a kiss. Worked on this on & off over time. "Off" more often due to other projects & obligations. Decided to focus on this one gag that was good enough as a standalone piece apart from a bigger short. Good practice and I'm proud of how it turned out but man is it ever a pain in the neck animating on 1s. Coming back to work on this toon in between everything else in life was always comforting, like falling onto a soft bed after a toilsome day. But it's been long enough, and these birds must fly free.
