Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

Tim & Mom's KOOl ARBITRARIOUS KARTOON

An animatic/storyboard based on the Wrath of the Sun OCT

Please read the Audition and the first Round here for further context. Program used is Clip Studio Paint EX (v1.13) Round 3 Author's Notes: This took the better part of six weeks to get set. I went into this wanting to focus more on my comic skills, but due to the combination of a shorter round-than-audition time and my own limited time outside of work, I made a last minute decision of doing an animatic as I did a quick one in-between rounds. This way, I was able to get enough story and character interaction to where I felt satisfied with how it played out. There's certainly room to grow, but I think this was both fun and exciting to do. :] Also, for those who are curious, the various monster sounds were both from Dead Space (2008) Slashers and Monster Hunter's Odagaron characters (and one fun scream from Bloodborne's Blood Starved Beast).

Wrath of the Sun: Round 2

Keaton’s quiet night is interrupted by a rustle in the bushes… KARO NOTES:So you may sorta know Keaton from the Nov 2024 animatic I did. This time, he’s been redesigned into a more Felix the Cat shape (some people thought it was a Sonic thing) I think it’s the best he’s ever looked throughout his decade of existence, it’s fun to express with and see in action. This short was largely done in December, so I had to add back in a few PINGtreon supporters from the time. It was also originally supposed to be a part of a different larger project I had in store related to the Donkey Kong Country TV Show, but I plucked it from there because I liked it enough to keep it independent. That said, there are a lot of small nods to the DKC show in this. The statue of Vin the Mothman was made to resemble the DK statue Cranky has in his hut. The record player was based on the one used in “Double Date Trouble”, as well as it being used to ward off the Kritters. The cloth that Keaton drapes over the windows is based on K.Rool’s cape, he has pots of cacti similar to the ones seen in Funky’s place, he has Cranky Kong’s globe with Kongo Bongo Island mapped in there, the lantern, alot of Keaton’s RV was based on Cranky’s Cabin. For the music to this one, I went out and got a panflute and a pipehorn to bring in a more naturalistic feeling to this one. I wanna tie Keaton’s movements to the panflute and have that accentuate the way he acts. I had a finger piano laying around for a few years now from a reptile zoo gift shop, so I used that here. I knew I’d use it in relation to a Keaton short at some point, and now I have. I wanna go more complex with the music I do in these shorts. There shall be more to come for Keaton… ~KARO '26 TO JOIN THE PILLOWFORT► https://patreon.com/CountessKAROWHERE ELSE TO FIND ME►https://countesskaro.carrd.co/STORE►https://countess-karo-shop.fourthwall.com/

DXD XP EDITION ( ART COLLAB)

An old-ish "animatic" thingy I made for a video that never came to fruition abt Forsaken and its history

Forsaken be like 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😂

"Aftermath"

(CW: politics, child abuse, current events as of early 2026)

i dont really want to post this one to youtube. i feel like it'd be a great spot to get harassed for having the understandable opinion of not being happy about the way child abuse is being handled by the us government rn. anyway, i have a lot of thoughts on current events, especially as a survivor of child sexual abuse, but i am honestly very tired of constantly fighting against it. so i made this instead of doing something dumb to myself. i hope i'm not alone in the exhaustion, the constant re-triggering of my trauma by the epstein files stuff, and being absolutely terrified of what the government is doing to people right now while constantly gaslighting us that this is fine and acceptable treatment. i really do hope that love is stronger than hate in the end. i really do. i want there to be a world where innocent children don't have to be objects of affection for creeps anymore.

Ashes | All I Do Is Sit Inside My House All Day

Hi!This was actually one of the most ambitious projects I've ever made. My friends and I have been looking for something that we could all work together on for a long time now, something fun we could do together in about a couple of weeks and look back to with smiles on our faces. So of course I went overboard and sketched an entire music video. But that was the least I could creatively do, since right from the start I fell in love hard with this idea, and so did everybody else I showed the animatic to. I raced along with everyone to start production and I actually made my hardest effort ever to direct and make this clip a reality. Entire days and weeks of non-stop working, organizing, testing, crunching, managing and all of those little stories that come before anything even sees the light. I honestly believe we did a pretty good job. I thank everyone who worked with us these past couple of weeks and I'm really looking forward for everyone's opinions :) I wanna funkin' die now. UPDATE: Resynced the audio a little bit. I was so sleep deprived I didn't check well enough before

I thought the idea was hilarious, and I made it a personal challenge to keep her consistently on one third of the screen for most of it. The temp track "Valse Moderne" (which I found by looking up Ren & Stimpy music) was perfect and only needed very light editing to get it to hit the beat when she kisses. The Puffy Piffle was named so because "Piffle" was a weird placeholder expletive my mom would say as I was a kid. "Oh piffle!" and I thought it sounded silly, so I gave the boat a silly name. I went ham on the fighter pilot's flight suit because I'm a nerd for fighter jets. I actually voice three characters in this- the fat guy near the beginning, I'm one of the "m'lady m'lady m'lady" voices on the boat alongside Mike Salcedo, and I'm the incel at the end "She's not even that hot anyway - tch, unbelievable." I also lightly traced the environment at the end based on the French Riviera. That about wraps it on shorts that I can upload at the moment! I'm going to switch my focus to animatics from The Cyanide & Happiness Show, which if you haven't watched it before, it's great. It gets better and better after every season, and this newest one which I've been working my ass off on, is about to drop in September this year. Like I've mentioned before, I love doing creepy shit, so making the oppressively lit farm road and dramatic lighting with the car and the headlights and such was a joy. I loved the dragging chainsaw shot and the show where the headlights illuminate him and he gives that little head tilt. Mike made slight adjustments on this animatic, including the rate of the car POV zoom-in, and the timing for how he waits for a beat, then simply walks around to the side of the car. Mike also added the text to Bill's narration talking about the car, but everything else was me working out my problems into a flash about murder, lmfao. Since this is a direct sequel (or aligned with Don't Talk) they let my horror-font be the splash image again, and I'm super proud of that. They also kept my fake car company logo pretty much intact for the final version! I made that up on the fly. Directed by Mike Salcedo

I PULVERIZED the audioscape with Gundam references, in sound effects for the time machine and using a track from the 08th MS Team as temp music. Seemed like dire, doomy sci-fi music and fitting for the theme. There used to be a scene between the kid's shocked expression upon learning he's him from the future and the "Now gimme all those cookies" turnaround, where the music got all sad and piano-keyed as the time-traveler pleaded and begged him to not take the cookies and turn his life around, "You have to believe me...Please!" before procuring his gun and delivering his line "Now gimme all those cookies." At the time, I liked the mood-swingy nature of him, because he looked like a crazy person to me, but I agree it was a good idea to cut it out. I loved the time-travelers design- I can't remember if he was custom made for the short or if he was a model re-used from something we've done before, but I was told to specifically design him that way. The time machine I made up on the fly, it's pretty much just a futuristic phone booth, lol. I got the bowling-ball hole designs from 80s-90s animes I grew up watching as a kid and snuck them into his bionic eye to make it look even more futuristic. Directed By: Connor Murphy
