The 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. animated!

This animation is a sequel to my very first hand-drawn animation. This time around, I used a Huion drawing tablet instead of drawing with purely a mouse. The quality is quite a bit different . . . maybe I'll need to remake the first at some point . . . Check out the original animation here, if you haven't seen it yet: <a href="https://youtu.be/2xDUeHmDdMI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Super Mario Over the Years! 1</a> - Unfortunately, you'll have to watch it on YT because I didn't have a NG account back then :( Isn't it technically the 41st now of Super Mario Bros?: Lol, yes - this project is a culmination of short vids I've been putting out during the 40th anniversary across my socials, plus a bunch more! I still wanted to call this an animation for the 40th, as it's the bigger milestone year than the 41st. I also just work slowly, and had a bunch of ideas, causing the release time to continuously get pushed back. Art Direction I've had the thought for quite some time to make a more faithful animation to the Mario series to emulate and honor the stylistic choices of Yōichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. My decision on the art direction also came down to me wanting to "understand the generations of Mario” from its official art standpoint. Furthermore, I wanted to embellish some of Mario's movements, not limited to the games, to give a greater sense of action and adventure! I referenced all types of official cover art, licensed activity books, instruction manuals, classic 80s/90s commercials and other promotional material for the games and time periods. It took way more effort than my past simpler, often rough character animations - but it was totally worth it! For later games in the franchise, including games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey Characters, I choose to fuse the official render designs with the linework used in the manual art in the earlier games. I wanted the animation to have the hand drawn feel, but still have the evolution of Mario's design aimed to hit several of the "key poses" from the Super Mario Bros official art, and “bring them to life” in the animation. In order to execute this idea, I started with several of the key frames as these key poses, with some adjustments (like eye movements, hand placements, or perspective tweaks) to flow with the animation. As far as the backgrounds go, they involve a stylistic approach to Shigehisa Nakaue's work on the fairly consistent Nintendo summer artwork. I tried to simulate this by blending some watercolor texture scans I painted with digital watercolor brushes created in Photoshop to create laying and show a brush stroke on a more rough, coarse paper. The color usage references the internal colors displayed when playing the games on their respective consoles. This challenged me when it came to using a very monochromatic color scheme in Super Mario Land's Birabuto dungeon to quite the opposite of using a wide array of color in Mario's character animation in the Super Mario Odyssey segment. Easter Eggs Woah, you actually read up to this point? Okay, well, I'll let you in on a little secret: this animation is jam packed with a ton of hidden secrets/collectables. Try to spot the following: <ul><li>Bosses and/or friendly side characters from each game</li><li>References to different Nintendo game console generations</li><li>5 cherries to give you "invincibility"</li><li>2 wonder seeds for a "sense of curiosity"</li><li>Franchise game/console codenames</li><li>A bunch of coins. Count all of them if you dare and they may reveal some meaningful Mario number lol . . . The following are variations of coins and values associated with them (does their final value mean anything?):</li></ul>⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Regular/Gold Coin - Simply 1 Coin⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Red Coin (SM64) - 1 Red Coin = 2 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Blue Coin (SM64) - 1 Blue Coin = 5 Coins⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◦ Purple Regional Coin (SMO) - 1 Regional Coin = 2 Coins Credits Music in chronological order:0:00 ~ Super Mario Bros 2. - Ground Theme ~ Super Smash Bros. Super Mario Over the Years! 2

A 14-second animated cutscene based on my original story.

Yo, yo!! 👀🔥 Here’s the short animated cutscene from my original audiobook/drama, Academy Showdown Gaiden: The Barefoot Girl! This is the moment Amos learns the truth about his powers… and accidentally unlocks Nanaya’s second health bar. 😨💀 Massive shoutout to voice actors <a href="https://www.castingcall.club/m/erinburrsirr" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Erin Knight</a> and <a href="https://www.castingcall.club/m/theskylerdrake" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TheSkylerDrake</a>! The anguish, confusion, rage… they KILLED this scene. 🎙️💥 Be sure to show them some love! And of course, the man behind the animation, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@InkKnight547" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ink Knight</a>, went absolutely INSANE, grinding 103 HOURS frame-by-frame to bring this scene to life—and he did it SOLO. An absolute legend in the making. 🎨🔥 If you liked what he did here, check out his art on his YouTube channel and tell him I sent ya! Sound effects and voice syncing was done by yours truly! Academy Showdown Short Animation (The Barefoot Girl) by Ink Knight

In the bustling present day of December 2026, Chris Chan was living his best life in the spotlight. His hit 90s-style sitcom, "Chris Chan: Electric Dreams", penned by the legendary Chuck Lorre of Mike &amp; Molly fame, was topping the charts. Better than any throwback show, it turned Chris's quirky world into laugh-out-loud gold: episodes full of Sonichu zapping trolls, awkward dates, and family moments that hit right in teh feels. Fame had finally arrived. Billboards, fan meetups, custom merch. He even won a snap election to become mayor of Ruckersville, Virginia in a landslide! His first executive order was to rename the town CWCville for real, obviously. Chris was on top of the world! As a kid, Chris had a rough start. His dang ol' dad, Bob, was a gruff handyman type, always tinkering and dropping wisdom like, "Life's full of splinters, son...watch where you step." And his mom, Barbara? To Chris, she was the most beautiful, stunning, gorgeous woman alive, an angel in human form who sewed his favorite shirts and cheered his wild ideas. Through bullies, Sega ruining the color of Sonics arms, and so, so, so many girls who were NOT boyfriend free, his parents guided him toward this moment of triumph. But one ordinary afternoon at the local Starbees, everything shifted. Sipping a Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte (Available at select Starbucks near you!), Chris spotted a familiar crew of dirty trolls in the corner: the OneyPlays gang. Cory Spazkid doodling hot ladies on a heavily used napkin, Chris (Not Chris Chan. A different Chris with an epic Youtube channel) cracking up, Lyle rizzing up some baddies, and Tomar casually munching on a delicious tree star as always, green and crunchy. "OMG, it's Chris Chan" Cory whispered. They waved him over awkwardly. Chris beamed, spilling latte while attempting to wave back. His Iconic Red stripped shirt was covered in the sticky goodness. This was it. His lowest moment. Then, his phone buzzed: breaking news. Electric Dreams canceled. Ratings crashed, critics slammed it as "too much," Chuck Lorre publicly un-alived. Fans flipped to a better show like Smiling Friends overnight. Chris froze, medallion dropping into the puddle of coffee. The cafe fell somber, fame evaporating like steam from a forgotten cup. Back home in his cluttered room, surrounded by faded dreams, Chris crumbled. Dad long gone, Mom too frail, loneliness hit hard. But a soft zap glowed from his medallion. Sonichu appeared, holographic and loyal. "C'mon buddy, let's run away to some other dimension, together." Chris hugged his old friend tight, tears falling. Fame's peak had led to the deepest valley, but in the quiet tragedy, that spark of imagination endured. The end. Making this 1 is quite the shit show. This is by far the 1st (and hopefully the only) time I have literally gone through development hell. And production of this film, I did not anticipate how much of a shit show making this film would've been. This was made between Autumn 2024 to Spring 2025, but I got burnt out many times on this 1. I was experimenting with trying to make a Scooterman film using Vegas and using its image frame motion features, but the problem with that is that the frames do get into unusual aspect ratios when I click options to get them to move, and having to constantly fix that was a headache in itself. So yeah, this is kind of the 1st animation film I made using Vegas and while the motions are a bit more smooth, it was energy consuming. And while yes <a href="https://coltrockgreen.newgrounds.com/">ColtRockGreen</a> has done plenty of the work, I didn't think I'd burn out so easily, especially right after making my last Gacha Mini Movie prior to this non-Gacha film, Swallowing Blood (the rest of its plot that is). This film has been shelved for a long time from 2025 until this year. While I also have thought of remaking it from ground up. My brother and I can't do much with it either since my brother was already burnt out himself doing his GMOD film Revenge on Nijima. So co-ordination for this film is a bit laggy, and while I make my estimated prediction with what I originally intended for the plot, I feel like doing all of its intended plot might've dragged this film out to the point where it becomes as long as a full feature length film like what happened with Revenge on Nijima, so to prevent another Nijima effect, I have decided to split the film's plot in half into 2 films, so since half of its plot it done, I'll just be leaving this film as is and make it a part 1, with another continuation coming later instead of any actual end. At this point, I feel like this current arc I have planned to end, had unintentionally festered up its own sub-trilogy within itself, which I call the Dr. Bubbles trilogy, so expect another film with Dr. Bubbles as the unintended central antagonist in the later films to come I guess. And also the motion blur was from compressing the clips together over and over again, I mean I get that the motions may be unusual, but this was kind of my 1st time trying to make an animation film and putting frames and stuff together on Vegas, so I was inexperienced in Vegas when I made this, but after this film, all future Scooterman films will be made on Movie Maker instead since this experiment turned out to be an energy consuming, image bending, and motion blurring failure.

Whaddup, it's been a minute. I already wrote my thoughts on the longer break down in the recent <a href="https://www.patreon.com/DasBurstling/posts/so-last-two-huh-165004952" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">patreon post</a> I made, so I'll only talk about the animation itself here. I really fucking struggled with this one! (evidently) This is definitely one of the more challenging animations I've done so far despite technically being so simple (conceptually). One big issue I had is that I want to be able to trust my own roughs, so I've started putting extra time into them - which raised the bar for what I'm happy with as early as the roughs stage now, which in turn means I spend like 4 times the amount of time on the whole thing that I usually would've.I also tried out some tricks to raise the fidelity of the shading by doing the full blockout cel shading frame by frame, then erasing it in certain spots to give a softer look. I'm quite happy with how it turned out overall, definitely worth the effort. More coming soon as before, hopefully without a 2 month gap this time. Peace-Burst

WARNING: This cartoon contains quite a bit of gore and some gross imagery. Dave Cook has officially burst on to the cooking scene in my Cook-Off jam entry! This is not only the longest cartoon I've made so far, but also the most off-kilter and unusual short film I've ever created. I wanted to create something for the Cook-Off Jam for quite sometime, but I'm shocked at just how fast I was able to put this together, as the entire cartoon only took about a month to make from start to finish. Using rigs instead of frame by frame really does speed up the process. Also while I didn't compose the score for this, I did compose the short theme that plays for the 'SKGmations/FreddieToon' logo. I'd say it's pretty decent for something I whipped up in five minutes <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@skgmations2010" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Youtube channel that you can follow if you want</a>

A bout betwen Ky kiske and Nagoriyuki from guilty gear

Heya! This animation took a looooooong time to make. Put my heart and soul into it. Learned a lot from it and have grown due to the work I invested into it. Every frame you see here is manually posed since Im insane and animate on constants instead of using curves and the graph editor. Partway through this animation I did lose the file to corruption which sucks since this animation was on a time limit and was due on the 23rd. But I managed to pull through and claw my way to the finish. I hope you enjoy and if you have read this far give feedback please! I intend to get better at animation so anything you have to say is great!

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:📽️ This is probably my best composited animation so far! I’m proud of how this one turned out in the end. This one is also the first to have a watermark (So just in case you steal,) It’ll be obvious. And also the first one to be rendered in 4K!!! 📽️ 🎞️ Work started on this video immediately as I finished the DING! Animation on September 11th, and I fully completed it and uploaded it privately on September 20th. The reason why it took slightly longer was because of my schoolwork this week and unavailability to my house. 🎞️ ✍️ For this video, I implemented the 2-3 resting frames that I only done briefly previously. I think it looks a ton better and more bouncy. Also new is the fact that I have animated multiple head angles for myself and made the soulfire effect in FancyGhost’s hand. (Seriously that’s what I’m most proud of..)✍️ 🥂Anyways.. Enjoy the video! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and let me know what you think, the next animation is already planned and should come out not too long away from now. Anyway, Cheers!! 🥂

Really wanted to give up several times because of it, but I'd already finished too much of it to just let it go to waste, so I pushed through. In the first episode, Paul was a background reaction character for a single appearance... but I like how he looked so much that I decided maybe he is another regular. Of course, he is now a regular. Expect to see him haunting the shop more often. Some behind the scenes.I use blender for all the animation. I designed and made all the characters, painted their textures, rigged them... that has taken the longest to do. But now that I have them, essentially it's all about writing, animating and editing the final episode in premiere pro.You have to wear many hats with indie animation, often you do a bit of everything in the production pipeline. And to every animator that has had sleepless nights doing "one more shot" or "one more frame" to make their production happen. Well done. This stuff is HARD. AudioA lot of audio I gather from freesound.org Or i'll record some bits of foley myself. In this episode I sat in front of a microphone shaking a real VHS tape around to get the sound of it in the characters hands. The sound is something I try to spend a lot of time on. Panning the voices through different shots to make the characters feel like they are in the world, adding a subtle room ambient reverb, panning the voice audio when the character turns their head... Such a small thing, but it's the difference between audio that feels "in world" and audio that feels "stuck on top" Time ScalesEpisode 1 took around 2 weeks to do (not including building all the props and the sets etc) , but Episode 2 I managed in 4 days. The context of the episode matters too, If i need to make a bunch of unique props for the story that can take more time. but I could factor in an extra day to just model all the scene specific props. The exterior of Paul's house in this episode for example was a last minute addition. I had time to quickly model it. and light it. so was happy to get it in.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/567/iu_1567332_28415006.webp" alt="iu_1567332_28415006.webp" data-smart-scale="764,318"> Cinematographygetting those nice cinematic shots is important to me, so I spent a lot of time studying the rule of thirds, and other techniques like the golden ratio. If you want to up your game on camera shots. look into this stuff, it'll take you from a bad framing loser to a Hollywood champ in no time! Simple rules to follow and they yield good results. (knowing when to break them is important too) I'm enjoying discovering what kind of show this is turning out to be, I don't have a plan or massive future goal, I just want to explore, introduce new ideas, experiment with different skill sets and channel them all into this video shop.I've got a lot of ideas about more scenarios and characters to make. I'm always open to ideas too so if you want to add something to Voodoo Vids in some way get in touch, let's talk. If you've read this far then thank you, Some people aren't interested in this stuff, but I'd like to include it for those that do enjoy some more content to read after they (hopefully) enjoyed the short. Voodoo Vids - #2 The Recommendation

What happens when you combine a stupid premise and television? idk, watch the toon to find out sweet stuff ;) This one took 2 months, the longest I've spent on a project so far. I almost lost this file at one point but was able to save it with ONE singular backup, pretty sweet ain't it? That was what got me to switch from Flash 8 to CS6 over the course of making this since the file just stopped opening in Flash 8 at some point LOL. Anyway, because of this ambition (OVER 4000+ frames AND 100+ MB? WHAT!?) I'll just be playing a crap ton of video games to relieve some stress and maybe delve a bit into degeneracy until I make my next toon. Total Runtime is 3 min 2 secs. Not long, but quite a bit.Enjoy! Wacky Murder Mystery TV edition 2000 special special

Introducing my solo game project, Misfit Company!

Hey everyone! I left Newgrounds a while ago to pursue some projects, and now I want to come back to start sharing my art and other projects! I am thrilled to finally share what I have been working on through a lot of late nights over the past year! Here is a teaser of my first solo indie game, "Misfit Company."Lead a squad of specialists deep behind enemy lines in a gritty, boots-on-the-ground struggle to dismantle the enemy's war machine from the inside out. You will face down engines of war on land and in the air, all in an effort to prevent the launch of a mechanical abomination that threatens to reshape the continent. The goal of this project is to combine the handcrafted frame-by-frame visuals of the most captivating aspects of today's animated films and television shows while giving the player a seamless action-packed narrative experience where every finisher and interaction feels like a scene from a top-tier animated series. Now that I am finally sharing this project, I want to give some context on how this project has progressed over the past year. I am currently working on this project as a solo developer, and everything you see in the screenshots and teaser was created entirely by me. It's been a ton of fun but a lot to manage while balancing a full-time job and children to raise. In the fall of 2024, I was laid off and was just coming off Halo Infinite, so I took some time to reset, and after a few weeks, I was interviewing with Riot and actually received an offer to join the team down in Sydney. I sadly didn't take the job at that time because I had the opportunity to work with a few past colleagues on some really cool stuff at Meta, and it allowed my kids to stay close to their relatives here in Canada. In November, I was watching Arcane, and I had an idea for a project that hit me like a freight train, and that would become this story of a band of Misfits. As I went into 2025, I already wrote out the foundation for the story and was starting to storyboard out every cinematic the game would require while scouring my film and game libraries for as much storytelling reference as possible. As the year progressed, I started working on the prototype, but also created a large library of concept art, 3D assets, and fully polished characters that would help establish the art direction. What has been really exciting is that I am producing everything on my own with a fresh mindset towards production compared to my AAA experience, and creating a purely handcrafted experience using my 10+ years of experience in games. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming! <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/4416330/Misfit_Company/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Steam page!</a><a href="https://youtu.be/cnaLuPI_7tc" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Teaser Trailer!</a>

Misfit Company

Wicked we come is a comedy about time stranded survivors.

Hey everyone, this was a project I had floating around for a while, i started fresh with new animation techniques, previously i was creating everything as PNG images and building puppets in OpenToonz. If you have used this before you know its a massive headache, there is a lot of issues, including not being able to preview before you could render, or even not being able to render anything over 50 frames. Thus i took a leap of faith and learned how to us Moho! This program has been a game changer, I'm glad i really knuckled down committed. Anyway this project started as a pipe dream, i had wanted to get some funding from the Australian government to really create something special, unfortunately i didn't fit their criteria (shocker i know). So once again, im on my own, but shit, i honestly loved this, i promised myself i wasn't going to make something with an huge story, but hell, i cant help myself! The Island and the town of Eldridge is built around the U.S.S Eldridge, a ship that was used in the Philadelphia experiment, the island itself is inhabited by people from different timelines, all survivors and all without knowledge of how they got here, Chad from the mid 2000s, Dante from 1105, and Suzie from the far future.Everything was built around the philosophies of Plato, mainly The Cave. not only does this humanise the past, present and future, but it tackles everything from who we are, what are we doing here, and what does this all mean. Chad was a character I've always wanted to make, he essentially just me when im angry, which is why i enjoyed doing his voices so much! i wasn't sure using my normal voice would work as i had used them with previous characters and actually hated them. Suzie was my attempt at actually doing a fun quirky robot character as ive always loved Gur (Invader Zim) and Clap trap.she will be interesting going forth, i have some great ideas for her! Dante was always such a fun character to create! im still honestly not 100% on the design, i tried different designs but nothing landed like this, its basic, i know. Id love to hear some feed back, don't be shy, i appreciate that anyone has watched it, that's enough for me!I do this stuff because i love it, i work all the time! im a qualified baker, but my dream has always been animation and writing, ill never stop, this is my heroine. Much Love, Ryan.

Wicked We Come

The time has come!If I remember correctly, this is my first ever dedicated Halloween post/media 🤔.(Always wanted, never had time 😝 but this year I found some time with the final phases of Mei's Corruption being a lot of render time, I could find some mental load to affect to this) Lara Croft 3D model by Wildeer StudioSound Design and Music by Mathieu HellotLara Croft’s voice by Patapon ANYWAYLet's answer the question right away because this is also and most importantly my first official prod including AI tools 😱!(Yeah I know this is fitting with Halloween because it's a scary subject 😝) I've posted some WIPs of this project for supporters (<a href="https://subscribestar.adult/theropedude" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://subscribestar.adult/theropedude</a>) including the first version I tested as a proof of concept and a compilation of some of the sections I didn't use in the final puzzling but that I find cool. TLDR : I love playing with this, see you next time 💚. If you have been following me long enough, you may recognize the first image of the video because it was indeed the first image of a full 3D video I crafted back in the days 😊(<a href="https://the-rope-dude.com/2024/05/19/lara-breast-tease-01/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://the-rope-dude.com/2024/05/19/lara-breast-tease-01/</a>). But you may also know that I've been playing with AI tools since at least 2023 and I find this kind of tech absolutely amazing. I've tried a few things and failed a lot but now I feel like the time has come to successfully integrate some of these tools in my workflow and therefore, here is the first example that I'm confident enough to call a success 😁.Of course it's not perfect and I'm not perfectly satisfied with everything but I never am and I'm always learning + the tools apparently can't stop to get better and better every 2 months 🤩. I want to share with you how using these tools make me feel (production wise)As a 3D animator I feel like a puppeteer, precisely pulling every string of my puppet to make exactly what I want. I have a lot of detailed control but it takes a lot of time. With AI Tools I feel more like an art or movie director, trying to guide actors in the direction I want and iterating with several takes until I have the "good one".Both have their pros and cons (Mostly control and speed of prod imo) so I'm looking for ways to have the best of each world 😁.Also for example a specific camera movement is a lot easier to do in 3D but animating 6 hands groping and playing realistically with boobies and flesh is a nightmare 😝.(And to quote Kurzgesagt : I want to use AI like the align tool in Adobe Illustrator.)How was it made exactly?Of course this is overly simplified but I may explain more in depth if some people are interested but to summarize the process :- Make an image in Blender.- (Optional) Generate a 3/8 sec video with Wan2.2 (I2V) and take the last image of the video.- Make an image in Blender or Edit the previous one with Qwen/Photoshop/Blender(Control-Nets).- Generate a 3/8 sec video with Wan2.2 (FLF2V with the last frame you just edited)- Repeat- Puzzle everything in DaVinci Resolve to make it as seamless as possible.- Upscale/Upframe with Wan2.2/DaVinci Resolve- Edit/Mask/FX/patchwork in Blender/DaVinci Resolve to improve/refine/hide/modify the things hard to manage otherwise. On that matter I want to give a big thanks and shout-out to IchibanFutsuJin (<a href="https://civitai.com/user/IchibanFutsuJin/posts" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://civitai.com/user/IchibanFutsuJin/posts</a>) we share a lot of helpful technical knowledge with each other and he does some of the most creative and amazing uses of these tools I've seen so far 😍. Definitely go check his work! In any case I hope you appreciated this little comeback of Lara Croft and I wish you a great Halloween ^^! Take care 😊💚

A short film made for the 30th anniversary of the Clock Tower series

"The deepest definition of youth is life as yet untouched by tragedy."- Alfred North Whitehead A fan film made for the 30th anniversary of the Clock Tower series. Special thanks to <a href="https://bsky.app/profile/thefirstfear.bsky.social" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">thefirstfear.bsky.social</a> for their assistance in the casting process and giving feedback during production. Before anyone asks, yes. The ending is technically "reused animation"... because it always was meant to be part of this short. I repurposed it for the last Clock Tower animation(where I cobbled a few new shots in a small time frame) because I wanted something out for the release of Clock Tower Rewind, but I was already working on this one by then.-- "La definición más profunda de la juventud es la vida aún sin tocar por la tragedia."-Alfred North Whitehead Un fan film hecho por el 30 aniversario de Clock Tower.

The Ticking Memories: A Clock Tower Fan-Animated Short

Two survivors fend for themselves against threats that won't just stop.

Bob, one of the last remaining members of the parity faction, continues to make his way home after the war. Previously escaping an underground trench filled with the undead, now persevering through fields of reanimated soldiers, with dwindling strength and supplies to his name. Meanwhile, another survivor named Shirley finds herself questioning if all had truly been lost. Everyone she could've cared about is gone and dead, and the only one that mattered to her is completely gone from her world. In her despair, Shirley finds herself interrupted by more and more oncoming threats, and eventually decides her best bet is to escape the wasteland to think of a solution, even if it may be a delusional sense of hope. However, later down the line, Magnus, the self-proclaimed "King of Steel," is awakened by a deathly-curious Shirley, and decides to repay her generosity by relieving her of the organs that keep her alive. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the longest Redemption episode yet and is the one that took the most effort out of anything I've ever done so far. A month from now will mark the 1-year anniversary of Redemption, and also show how much I've grown since I started animating a year ago too! I COMPLETELY forgot to mention that Magnus, the boss of this chapter, was designed by Lazy the Engineer! I just tidied up his design for use in Redemption! If you watched this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Even if you didn't enjoy it, even if you hated it. Thank you. Final Frame Count: 10682 Animated Frames (Adobe Animate)

Zatch Showing Off a Bit

Took me about 20 hours of my free time, but here is Penny from Go! Go! Hypergrind speaking &amp; talking! I ain't a true Spumhead yet &amp; still learning to animate, so the weak head nod &amp; lack of anticipation &amp; slight smear frames show, but I still rate this a 7/10. It's far from professional level, but it's a good start! Originally a gift art for Sandy Fox (The lady I thought was Penny's VA) the IMDB &amp; behind the voice acting pages got updated about a week after I checked them, it turns out, Lani Minella, the OG voice of Rouge The Bat (She also voiced Piggy Sue &amp; Bob) was checkmarked for Penny's va, so I went to ask her, she said she only recalled voicing Piggy Sue, Bob, &amp; a character named Jenny (false memory of Penny's name? You decide chat). I was a bit saddned I wont ever know who voiced Penny, but hey, that just means I gotta get the rest of these model sheets done &amp; make each confirmed VA a small thank you animation with their characters! So lets Jam &amp; Hype it up! 🤘 Also, this audio is something I like to keep in my pinned section of my phone because its lowkey inspiring ("I pledge, that I will entertain the kids of the real world, to the very BEST, of my ability.") Maybe if I draw this, some kid can be inspired since a talentless hack like me who fingerpainted this on mobile &amp; doesnt even know how to shade, could animate a character! Reminder Atlus &amp; Spumco own this game, I'm just doing some long overdue catch up it needs to look a bit better. If you want to hear some Jam Jam Hype played over this, feel free to check my profile for the youtube link (my dumbass cant understand how to embed a link on the description box yet, apologies)

Baby's first Lip Sync practice

Principal Skinner inviting Superintendent Chalmers over for an unforgettable luncheon reminds me of a puzzle... Additional details about this video:- The idea of making following Skinner's directions to his house the first puzzle came into my head when the video was nearly finished. Oh well. - I nearly went through with fully fleshing out the final puzzle. Skinner would have to call 911on his phone, but it has algebra symbols on it instead of numbers. He also would've got the puzzle wrong, making him either shout out "SHUT UP!" aggressively or sheepishly whimper, "I hiccup can't hiccup take hiccup this." in response. - I almost went through the process of adding a black border with subtitles at the bottom of the dialogue scenes and reducing their frame rate to 25 per second to make them even more DS authentic, but I felt it might've been a step too far, plus, my editing program has a habit of glitching up when I get too ambitious with borders, and I couldn't be arsed with dealing with it. - Of course, me being me, I always have to make a dumb mistake. This time, I spelt "principal" wrong in the opening scene, because the side of myself that wants to suffer felt I was too happy with how the rest of the video turned out and had to bring me down. Only around half a month. I hope it doesn't look too rushed.Maybe this'll turn into a series, since the SF6 victory theme is quite the banger and I can't get enough of it( yet xD)I already have some ideas for all of the other classes, but I'm always open for noice ideas ^^ Of course I welcome any other feedback as well. A joyful little robot sings Daisy Bell for some reason

Yeah, not sure what to say with this one. I know my animatics are probably below-par for Newgrounds animation standards but this one took me specially long to put together and I kinda need that extra bit of coverage. The original audio is <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41U78QP8nBk&amp;t=0s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Daisy Bell</a>, the animatic itself was inspired by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqA6J_cbXF4&amp;t=0s" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Doobus Goobus' video on the same song</a>.Originally there was going to be a short bonus at the end where Octo Sonic gets crushed by a piano, but for some reason the editing software did not fit those frames in properly so it would've either been cropped or it would zoom in. It's a minor thing but still.

A song by Major Danger about finding different angles and perspectives, Enjoy!

Yo, what's good everyone? It's Major Danger here, and I'm excited to share with you our new track, "Perspectives". This song is all about lookin' at things from different angles, and findin' your own perspective. And let me tell you, the official music video, animated by Vincent Uy, is out of this world. First and foremost, I gotta give a big shout out to all our fans out there. You guys are the reason we do what we do, and we couldn't do it without your support. You keep us goin' and we're forever grateful for that. Now, let me tell you about the animator of this video, Vincent Uy. This guy is a genius, let me tell you. He brought the song to life in a way that I never thought was possible. Every single frame of that video is a work of art. He really knows how to capture the essence of the song and bring it to life in a visually stunning way. The idea for "Perspectives" came to us while we were thinkin' about the importance of seein' things from different angles.Ya know, in today's world, it's easy to get caught up in our own perspectives and miss the bigger picture. But this song is all about steppin' outside of your comfort zone and explorin' new perspectives. It's about growin' and learnin' and never settlin' for one point of view. And let me tell ya, there's no greater message than one that talks about followin' your dreams. No matter what obstacles you may face, it's important to remember that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. We hope that our music can serve as a source of inspiration for those who are chasin' their own dreams. But let me tell you, it wasn't always easy for me to believe in myself and chase my dreams. I remember I had a near-death experience a few years back, and it changed my life forever. I was in a terrible car accident, and for a moment, I thought it was all over. But as I was drifting in and out of consciousness, I had a vision. I saw myself traveling to other dimensions, communicating with extraterrestrial beings, and even time traveling. It was the most profound and life-changing experience of my life. In that moment, I realized that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. I knew that if I could survive that accident, I could do anything. And that's when I decided to chase my dreams, no matter what anyone said. I wanted to share that message with the world through my music, and that's why "Perspectives" is so important to me. I know that some of you might think that traveling to other dimensions and talking to aliens is a bit far-fetched. But let me tell you, anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. I've seen it with my own eyes, and I know that you can too. So, I encourage you to keep an open mind, and never stop chasing your dreams. The possibilities are endless, and you never know what you might discover. So, check out the official music video on our YouTube page, and join us on this journey of discoverin' different perspectives. And as always, we appreciate your support and couldn't do it without you. Stay true to yourself, and never stop chasin' your dreams. Peace out! A Very Merry Meatball Christmas

In the Monument Valley something strange can happens...

We are in the Monument Valley of the United States, a valley famous for its natural beauty, for the silence that surrounds it, but above all because it has been the set of numerous American films.A group of tourists enveloped by the metaphysical nature of the song "Enjoy the silence" by Depeche Mode, drive through Monument Valley enjoying its silence, unaware of the sandstorm it causes with the car and that affects two natural inhabitants of the park: the birds .For their part (and they were really singing), they do not know that they are not alone: 3 turkeys, humanized here, surround the melody of the birds accompanying it with the typical verse of their species and similar to the war cry of the Native Americans. What are the turkeys who escaped Thanksgiving day by grace granted by POTUS (President of the United States)? But merging into nature occurs when turkeys identify with birds and vice versa. The latter are amazed at the easy linguistic understanding with different species and united by a single Mother Nature who cradles them with her silence: an amazement that however leaves them doubtful.Monument Valley, here Turkeys Valley, despite being immense, knows how to prove itself protective of its natural inhabitants unless human interference. The quiet is in fact interrupted by the people who, despite trying to merge with Nature, remain unaware of the damage they cause as they pass through this wasteland where the fauna tries to escape to save themselves from the sandstorm caused by humans.A consideration must be made regarding the idea of travel.Traveling today means taking lots of photos and, above all, lots of selfies with your mobile phone and posting them on social media while waiting to be "likeated" by some stranger who pretends to be a friend. The waste of selfies abounds on the web; it is perhaps an attempt to be approved by someone or even by the numerous mass of those who, even on the most remote peak in the world, manage to find some "turkey" and have enough field to post and wait for a sign to confirm its visibility, thus dedicating the short time of the holiday to something that would also do at home, that is to be on social media, missing the moments of admiration and silence of landscapes in danger of extinction. This is the meaning of the quick final theme where photos of wrong selfies flow, a sign of this desire to confirm the lost self in the futile mass consumerism, a disease caused by the continuous search for those 15 no longer minutes but seconds of global fame that can give nanoseconds of happiness at the price of one's privacy and the loss of contact with Nature. PS: The title "The Big Turkeys Valley" is reminiscent of the 1960s TV series "The Big Valley" which was the springboard for actor Lee Majors better known as "The Six Million Dollar Man".
