Description

Ears that are "pricked" or "erect". They are always upwards pointing and upright. These ears are traditionally seen on wolfish looking dog breeds as well as various canids.

Not to be confused with

cropped_ears, in which the whole or part of their external ears (pinnae/auricles) are surgically removed for cosmetic purposes. Cropped ears can be most commonly seen in certain breeds like Boxers, Pit Bulls, Pinschers and Schnauzers.
