Mickey Mouse looks for some spooky vinyl records for Halloween.

Disney isn't making Mickey cartoons we want to see, so I'm seriously considering making our own, albeit with our limited skills. My brother and I drew it, my brother did the voice acting, and I recorded the music. I've had the rough idea for this gag since about 2008, when I was starting to learn a lot more about Disney. Originally it was meant to be a series of Mickey and his friends going on a road trip in the real world, not just some cartoon version of it, and encountering various real life things they wouldn't see in their Disney bubble. It was gonna be called "Realityland". I wrote some rough scripts back then, but they're not very good. I never wrote down this specific gag until this year, which originally was gonna have Goofy instead of Horace. Jumping ahead about 18 years later (geez), Disney is in a much, much stranger place than it was when I came up with the idea. Mickey cartoon series in particular have been a really mixed bag. I've kept hoping that Disney would finally wise up and make Mickey cool again, but they've never quite managed it, despite the potential Epic Mickey promised. (That said, I quite like Roadster Racers and all adjacent series.) As you most likely know by now, Mickey Mouse went public domain a few years ago. So far no one's really done anything significant with the character. For a few years now I've hoped Disney would adapt the classic 1930s Floyd Gottfredson comics and show everyone Mickey's true potential, but it's clear that ain't happening.I want to do it myself, and I have many ideas, but I can't really animate, or even draw particularly fast, so short animatics will have to do for now.

Mickey in "Spooky Crate Digging" (animatic)

Over the last couple weeks, I've converted two scrapped scenes into an animatic. I've polished them up a little and added extra frames so the action is more readable, but otherwise the quality of the voice acting, writing and mixing has been unchanged and thus may have aged a little. Originally there were four scenes of Building Competition. The two you see here and the two in the last movie. I initially wanted to animate all four scenes together but I was encouraged to cut it down to a minimum viable product for the sake of time. Ever since I started the animation phase on this project, I've been thinking of circling back to the first two scenes I boarded and fully animating them, but it's difficult for me to keep interest without overthinking. I was also just generally busy in July and couldn't upload anything that month. Scene 1 was the setup for the building competition(which would explain why we're viewing the characters' houses), alongside explaining why Kratos was hanging around with Alex. Relatively the least necessary scene, given how most viewers didn't seem to question it in the final animation. Scene 2 was supposed to be a reference to one of POSTBOY's animations, with the background being more minimalist with pitch black darkness, and characters becoming a monochromatic blue in the dark. I hope I reuse that idea somewhere else.

Building Comp(scrapped content)

I'm enjoying producing these animatics to at least get my ideas across, I've noticed that they are becoming more and more animated little by little which also makes me happy. I very recently started messing around with opentoonz/tahoma2d so I may actually try to make something fully animated here soon but Like with the others this is a short animatic to primarily get the ideas across. I think it works here. You can tell that my character trevor is really uncomfortable while helen is thoroughly enjoying herself. I hope y'all like this one. quick edit: i think i fucked up the rating and yeah rated A makes more sense. SORRY! ^^;

Izora finds the REAL Shadow The Hedgehog! :D

This idea was in my mind for a long while until I got around and finally did the animatic. The audio is from the DIC dub of Sailor Moon! The idea came about because my headcanon voice for my OC Izora is Terri Hawke's take on the role of Sailor Moon, and I wanted to make an animatic based on one of the lines from that run. If this gets taken down due to audio concerns, my partner and I will redub this. Animatic and Izora The Hedgehog belong to BeatleYeeShadow The Hedgehog belongs to SEGA and Sonic Team.Sailor Moon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi and Toei Animation, now licensed by Viz Media for western distribution.

howdy again y'all ^^, I'm glad to see everyone whose down here bothering to read the description. Like the previous animatic, my goal with this animatic again was speed. I definately learned a few things from making this animatic that I hope to bring into future projects. Given that It's only been a week since my last upload I'd definately say that I succeeded in my stated goal. now that i know I CAN crank out something like 1 minute of animatic a week I do think that i'm going to focus on the quality aspect of my next couple of animatics. If i have to choose between a higher quality animatic/animation or the oppurtunity to tell more visual stories I'm tempted to go down the latter route. If your familiar with the cheap fast good triangle i'm most tempted to pick cheap and fast. yes i'm aware of some of the technical issues in the animatic, my hope is that i'll be able to take these animatics and produce something thats both longer and maybe something thats in color in the nearish future. so that everything ABOUT making the animatic but as far as the story itself this scene is so pose to take place after the events of my comic mecha-gear. the comic isn't fully uploaded yet. The general idea is to make a mecha anime type of thing. Now like the last animatic I hope that I was able to make you feel something. have nice day y'all ^^ <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/632/iu_1632122_5035360.webp" alt="iu_1632122_5035360.webp" data-smart-scale="764,540">

a mysterious figure has been sent to assassinate someone

ok howdy howdy y'all ^^. first up I do hope you enjoy this little short that I made. Ok so you may have noticed that I start video with a little title saying to see the full description and a fine howdy to everyone whose bothering to read the description! you see for me this project was a test where speed was the name of the game while still having something presentable to the general public. I'd say that I suceeded in that regard. I started off with a one page 12 panel story board sheet, shown below. My overall goal was to produce something in a short amount of time and seeing as this whole thing took me less than a week on and off and I'd say in terms of hours spent on this project its somewhere between 5 and 10 hours. Animatics are so pose to be cheap to make. To see if an idea is any good and you can change things without much pain and your able to toss things out on the fly here too. I'm aware there's a couple places with things may look weird, like the lack of a walk cycle on the victim character but that's something I'd address in the animation stage, not here, here I just want to see oif the idea visually works. Why waste time animating something if it's not working at this stage ya know. if my little animatic left you intrigued by my assassin character here; then this animatic did it's job. Also I'm able to decide here if I want to spend the time actually fully animating this sequence, In this case I probably don't but I'm glad that this worked as well as it did. I can also safely assume that each crappy story page roughly equals about 30 seconds of screen time. let me know what y'all think in the comments! <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/627/iu_1627076_5035360.jpg" alt="iu_1627076_5035360.jpg" data-smart-scale="750,530">

A young elastic robot boy ends up scrapping with a criminal in odd antics.

Here is a subtitled animatic for a pitch pilot of mine. This is an idea I’ve been working on to pitch to potential studios. The pilot focuses on Danny Darson, an elastic semi-organic robot, who winds up in trouble with a criminal who steals a giant drillbot. Darson makes an attempt to stop him, but the question is, does it go to plan? Music used: Kevin MacLeod tracks. Deliberate Thought. Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge. Flurry Sting. Ember & Aqua Episode 3

Damian Barker goes to Hell in this wild musical comedy

Okay, so this is the unfinished Halloween-themed sequel to a shitpost "indie pilot" I did called Dogs Who Think. I had the idea about a week before Halloween and thought that if I drew really fast and sloppy, I could get it done by the 31st. However, even at my fastest and sloppiest, this was the most I could manage. I had most of the episode figured out in my head; it would have probably come to about 11 minutes long. Even in this unfinished state, a lot of people said it was really funny, which makes me feel good. Frankly, it also pisses me off. Why the fuck can't I just do this all the time? It feels like my brain is only good at episode plotting if it's for a semi-ironic project like this one. Seriously, I had the entirety of this Halloween special figured out, but I can't get the pilot plot to the cartoon series I've had in my head for years down. I think I just end up babying serious ideas too much, which means stuff like this is able to thrive more than anything else I could make cause I'm not precious about these characters or their world. As funny as it sounds, this unfinished half-shitpost and it's positive reception really inspires me to want to do more animatics for my more serious ideas, still caring to make a good final product but not handling everything with kiddy gloves, so to speak. Anyway watch the dogs bye

The cartoon video explains an English idiom "Bull's-eye".

Finally, I am done with the fifth episode of The Idiom Toonz. It took me two months to give a proper existence to my idea for the English idiom ‘Bull’s-eye’. I started working on it during the last week of October 2025 and finished it yesterday, i.e., 31st December 2025. Hopefully, you will like it, and learn the meaning of the idiom. With that said, I’m publishing it. Enjoy! Also, please support The Idiom Toonz series on Patreon if you want the creation of more episodes consistently.<a href="https://patreon.com/TheEnglishLiterature?utm_medium=unknown&amp;utm_source=join_link&amp;utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&amp;utm_content=copyLink" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patreon link (Click here)</a> Credit list:- IdeationStoryScriptScreenplayStoryboardAnimaticVoice over EnvironmentCharacterAnimationVFXSFXVideo editing In short, it is wholly crafted by Shreyash Anand.

MEET THE NEW HEROES

Pawns and Pieces is a claymation project I began working on in 2022. I came up with the premise for the film shortly after completing Clash of the Clay back in 2020, initially titled "Clash of the Clay 2". After making A Grand Day for Fishing in 2021, this project became my centre focus of that year, through to 2022. As I developed the idea, it became more complex than the Clash of the Clay sequel I had planned. The film was to follow a chess game, the queens of either side playing to impress a mysterious creature that lives inside one of the vases of the table (the lizard-like green thing sitting in the brass goblet), with the gormless pawns and pieces going along with it, the greatest threat to the game and the entertainment of the green thing being the friendship of the White and Red Kings. The game I chose to base my story on was Game 15 of Spassky vs Fischer 1972 - the reason for this being that in order for the third act to work, I needed a game that ended on a draw with all of the kings and queens in tact. You can view the game here and compare the movements to that in the film: <a href="https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044730" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044730</a> What you see here is the second act of the film, mostly animated and partially storyboarded. The first and third act were never animated, but the former was fully storyboarded. The reason I began with the second act first is because (on paper) it moved at a nice slow pace, which would allow me to ease myself into the more complex parts of the film. It was also the seemingly shortest of the three! Production was halted to work on my final University project; The Curse of Dracular. I had planned to continue working on it afterwards, but it became evident that the idea I had developed was far too large for me to complete on my own - the second act of the film coming to around ten minutes, which was only partially animated and the rest left to an animatic. In the middle of 2023, the company that produces the plasticine I use (Newclay), also announced their closure, and I’d still need tons of the stuff to complete my film (still have a bulk load knocking about somewhere, though). This spanner in the works allowed me to take a step back, evaluate the uphill battle this project was going to be, and accept that I would not be able to complete it. So for now, it is shelved. Initially I was very sad about this as I felt I had come up with some great scenes and gags that would never be brought to life, along with many sketchbooks filled with concept art and storyboards. However, I now appreciate this little venture as a great learning curve; sculpting and animating more detailed characters, prop-making and animating walk cycles. I’m sure elements of this film will also be reused in future projects. Perhaps down the line I might even reboot it with a team of people to refine it and finally get it completed! Getting this thing posted is long, LONG overdue, but getting it out there is a weight off my shoulders. I hope you enjoy! Additional music provided by Musopen.

Shining Light action WIP.

This is not my first animatic, let alone my own hellaverse animatic. But this is the first ever Animatic i've done for a new Hellaverse AU im working on called "Terra Magica", featuring Charlie from Hazbin Hotel and Octavia from Helluva Boss, and Octavia will be a major Villian in this AU (Alongside Charlie)This is one was largely for fun, but I hope it will be a good example to show what is meant to be octavia (who is slightly older in this AU) in her descent into villany after season 2 of Helluva Boss, and charlie wouldn't be too far off, either, as Via would know Charlie is easy to manipulate and will try to exploit charlie's hidden abilities before Alastor can, mainly because Octavia in this AU is sorta meant to serve as the inverse of Alastor. While Alastor's villiany comes from his desire to cause nothing more but total chaos, Via's villiany comes from her desire for stability by forming a twisted, authoritarian version of "law and order" brought on by her broken family, lucifer and the overlord's wreckless ruling, and even heaven's increasing apathy towards saving sinners. And she would do it by force if nessecary (Which charlie would obviously be against, of course), and even leading to via joining the forces Heaven in secret via Lilith to further her plans of ruling over heaven and hell wth an iron fist. But that's just the jist of it. I'll have more to explain later, hopefully. But let me know what you think of my idea so far and if you want to see more of this animatic after this. Also, I wanted an excuse to have her sound more like Eartha Kitt's character of Yzma from The Emporer's New Groove, not just cuz she;s supposed to be older in this AU, but because the voice she made for Yzma for the movie when it was called "Kingdom of the sun" as featured in the documentary "The Sweatbox"Link to the clip (also the source of the audio in this animatic)<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe1a-SKeUug" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe1a-SKeUug</a>

all drawn, edited and voiced by me.(except for the ultrakill coin sound effect and a free explosion sound effect from my video editor. and of course, the two meme images and the ending were not by me lol) I drew everything in my sketchbook, took pictures of the pages, cut out the individual drawings and put them on a green screen in my thumbnail editor, took screenshots of each piece then put them all together in my video editor... it's not the greatest quality but I got this really funny idea for a video and within a few hours I made this lol but even if it does look like crap, I'm really proud of this lmaoI'm surprised it turned out this "good" if I spent more than a few hours on the art and editing... this probably would've ended up even better now I know I can do "animations" even without an art tablet, I'll probably try making animatics next <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/390/iu_1390705_25743943.webp" width="764" height="486" alt="iu_1390705_25743943.webp" data-smart-scale="764,486"> <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/390/iu_1390706_25743943.webp" width="764" height="486" alt="iu_1390706_25743943.webp" data-smart-scale="764,486"> as you can see, I didn't use every image that I drew but I still wanted to show off everything <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/390/iu_1390707_25743943.webp" width="764" height="332" alt="iu_1390707_25743943.webp" data-smart-scale="764,332"> <img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/390/iu_1390709_25743943.webp" width="764" height="407" alt="iu_1390709_25743943.webp" data-smart-scale="764,407">hope you enjoyed this epic super high-quality videoplz rate 4.8 stars lol

This is a proof of concept animatic based on an original idea I've been developing. It's a dark post apocalyptic fantasy with mature themes and violence. Contains scenes of blood and gore. Viewer discretion is advised.

[Super Mario RPG] A retelling of the Star Road Warrior’s story in an animatic format.

The Star Road Warrior’s story retold in an animatic/motion comic format. SPOILER WARNING: This animation covers a lot of ground in the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars storyline. Despite some of the original storyline being retold in a different light in this project, I recommend playing either the original game or the remake first if you want to avoid any potential Super Mario RPG spoilers. Frogfucius, also warns you at the beginning XD If you couldn't tell already, I'm a huge fan of the Mario RPGs, and PMTTYD and SMRPG: LotSS are two of my favorite Nintendo games. It's so exciting that these two RPGs were both remade and released within a year apart from each other (and M&amp;L: Brothership later this year as well!). It’s wild that the Super Mario RPG remake was developed by Nintendo and Square Enix, which seems like an unlikely partnership nowadays! I can't believe these two remakes are still real! Be on the lookout for many hidden Mario RPG references - across the Super Mario PRG, Paper Mario, and Mario &amp; Luigi series in the animatic. At the announcement of the Super Mario RPG Remake I started to work on this animatic. With my Donkey Kong animation nearing completion I decided to sideline that project for a little while and make DK the priority. Returning to this project every so often with my interest perked at more Mario RPG announcements, I decided to complete this in a more animatic-like format. For anyone unaware of the character Geno (or ♡ ♪ ! ?) from Super Mario RPG, he is a star spirit that inhabits a wooden doll owned by a young Toad boy, named Gaz. Geno has been sent from a “higher authority” to restore peace in Mario’s world. His purpose is essential to the Super Mario RPG storyline, and when fighting in battle he acts as a glass cannon (with high offense and low defense). In my opinion, he is one of the coolest and chillest Mario characters and he has only been on this one stand alone game (with a few notable references in other Nintendo games). Square (Square Enix nowadays) had previously described Geno having close resemblance to "Pinocchio" in a Nintendo Power article. This animatic is a little unorthodox and in some ways feels closer to a finished animation and in some ways not. It's more of a hybrid between a motion comic and an animatic, with some more heavily animated elements mixed in. I also wanted to give each character their own unique outline color, to make them all stand out from each other as well as background elements. The colored outline for the characters also represents life - which is most notable when the Geno doll is inhabited by the star spirit. It may be disappointing that this is not in full color and as of sharing this, I don’t plan to continue to build on this project, in an effort to pursue newer and different animation ideas. This project was not built at all with Adobe Animate (my typical animation tool), instead I had just used Adobe Photoshop and created animation through the use of layer comps. This style is mostly experimental and I don’t plan to continue in this format. Initially this process seemed to work quite well (when more story boarding the animatic), but when it came to animating sections the process felt a bit clunkier in my opinion, despite the ease to create some different line work and broader depth in shading the characters. This animatic also brings back my amateur voice acting and this surely tested out my range with a whole bunch of characters lol. I had a focus on trying to voice all of the characters and avoid the use of any voice clips from Mario games. It was fun trying to recreate some classic Mario voice impressions and at the same time create new voices for Geno, Mallow, Bowyer and other Super Mario RPG characters.
