posting an old vent animation with a simple song and short story added to it

A question that would haunt me well into the afterlife. This was never how it was supposed to go. I have tailored a world for myself where no one would care. No one *should* care. No one should like, much less love me, as I am. Raw and honest. Intense and torn. Vulnerability pecking through to my bones like a vulture to a carcass. It was dangerous to get close to me. I was hostile. I needed to be. It wasn’t safe to become soft or sweet. I deserved the suffering I caused myself. “This is what’s best”. The words were spoken through grit teeth. Mirrors became my worst enemy, and distractions, my hero. A moment to spare would only allow the crushing weight of “what if” questions to arise and twist my stomach, wringing it like a wet cloth. My emotion slipped through the cracks of my fingers like water, seeping through the crevices of my hands like blood. Dripping down to fill every piece of a broken, empty shell I’m forced to call “home”. No one could see this part of me. I was desperate to avoid this scenario. The exterior hardened to make up for this embarrassingly soft center. Versions of myself were created to survive the unlikely scenarios. Everything I felt I needed to be, I became. Everything that was not safe to show, locked away. Despite my efforts, I could never throw away the key. “What if?” I kept ignoring the knocks. The pleads. The pounds. The begging. It was annoying to hear, then excruciating. It only got louder. More frequent. If there was a push, I would shove in return. I would win this fight. I had to. I only became worse. I hated it. I needed it. I lost loved ones over it. I lost sleep over it. I lost time. My life. Everything. Death was becoming imminent. I knew this. I still put up a measly effort to remain alive. Distractions did a wonderful job, but every force out there swiftly stripped me down until there was nothing, absolutely nothing, perceivably justifiable to keep me here. You showed up, crashing through my reinforced exterior like it was glass. You completely destroyed my hard work, unraveling it as if you found that one loose string on an article of clothing. I lay bare. No tricks. No lies. Just a pitiful mess of tears and confusion. Despite everything I’ve done. Everything I am. You showed up. … …I hate you, you know that? … … … …I don’t want to go.

A perhaps time loopy day of cozy debauchery.

One of my more interesting animations this week I think! What's a day in the Manor like? Well here's a snippet with a variety of guests and maids!~ It was a fun one to work on, reusing the same environment like a play set. A Day In The Manor

A girl named Frizz is being bullied at school and Expresso and Camo both think its funny, until Expresso hears frizz's side of the story... Here is the third episode of Expresso The Cat, It's crazy that we're already at episode 3! I really enjoyed writing and animating this one, but I feel like i could have added more emotion to the animation it if I had more time on my hands. these stories play out a lot better in my head. Very excited to finish on the upcoming episode 4 since we get another new character and I'm halfway done on it. Expresso The Cat - Episode 3

A trio of dragon siblings set out on their first training hunt.

OMG IT'S FINALLY DONE! After well over a year in the making, Talons and Flurries is finally edited and finished. It's production was exhausting, with a lot of bumps in the road, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! It definitely isn't perfect, as there are a few areas where the audio and particle effects could have been elevated, as one of my first attempts at an animated film, I feel like it gets the job done. This film takes place in the Wings of Fire universe, and features some Mudwing ocs. And yes, they are PUREBRED Mudwings. Canon be damned, I really loved the color palettes I chose, as I feel like they reflect each character's personality really well. The main protag is named Ginkgo, the mostly green Mudwing, who is eager to prove himself the strongest in his tribe with completely reckless abandon. His eldest brother Gastro is the bigwings of the group, and grows frustrated upon having to reign him in during a practice hunt. Last but not least is Arion, the youngest, and most anxious about his sibling's safety. There are at least 4 other siblings who aren't featured here, but all of them are named after snails/mollusks and have some shade of orange in them. Ginkgo meanwhile is actually an adoptive sibling, making him more adamant to prove himself. I overall enjoyed animating these guys and figuring out their anatomy. I based the main run cycle off of a lion's for reference, while for every other form of locomotion, I just winged it. I'm also happy with the vocals for all these animals, as I feel like I was able to give way more emotion to the bull specifically. Pov Furina

The two survivors have a short talk about what's next for them.

After surviving the events of their previous endeavor, Bob and Shirley rest for a few hours gently discussing the events that have unfolded and what thoughts they have made of it. The two eventually decide to part ways, with Bob returning home to what little he has left, and Shirley attempting to find a new home after losing everything she had, from dissenting away from her original faction, Conquest. Upon the two splitting up, after their brief collaboration. Bob begins to conclude his journey home, and Shirley begins her struggle to find shelter and manage her life all by herself with nobody left to help her. The wounded, breathing world continues to turn, and the first two actors begin their metamorphosis into tools for the directing forces above to use in their grand charter.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Despite the lack of action, this has to be one of my favorite animations so far. I've been working more and more on idle animations and footwork, alongside Ui elements and other visuals. I'm really happy we're finally able to beginning to wrap up the prologue with the climax happening past this episode. I think the emotion held in this animation outweighs the lack of action or progress. Bob is finally concluding his worth and development as a character. Exploring 4 emblematic paintings from belgium artist, Rene Magritte

Explorations is a collection of 4 emblematic works of Rene Magritte, recreated with current technology and the power of 3D modeling and animation. Starting with

Sheherazade, Rene Magritte (1947)

'Sheherezade is the name given to the pearl-woman object in memory of The Thousand and One Nights' (Magritte, quoted in D. Sylvester & S. Whitfield, René Magritte, Catalogue raisonné, vol. II, Oil paintings and objects, 1931-1948, Antwerp, 1993, p. 387). Shéhérazade appears to have been painted in May 1947 and is considered to be one of the earliest pictures to feature one of René Magritte's iconic motifs, the pearl woman. This picture shows the woman, whose mouth and eyes are shown as islands of flesh surrounded by a mysterious framework of strings of pearls, against a backdrop of a sky hewn out of monumental arches of blue. Next to her on the tabletop are two tall pyramids, a glass of water and a thick, claret-coloured curtain. This manages both to invoke the tradition of the Old Masters of Magritte's native Belgium and also to create an intimacy, a domesticity, a normality, lulling the viewer into a false sense of security that is prised apart by the mirage-like vision of the woman who so bracingly stares out from the canvas like some Orientalist incarnation of the Cheshire Cat. She is some form of apparition, perhaps conjured by the rituals of which the pyramids and water may be the paraphernalia. At the same time, she is the alluring and ornate hostess introducing the viewer to a world that has been rearranged in order to reveal its infinite wonder.

The Liberator, Rene Magritte (1947)

'The Liberator' presents a mysterious scene likely intended to provoke thought and curiosity. It depicts a figure seated against a surreal backdrop of floating architectural structures, with soft clouds embedded within. The figure, shrouded in a red cloak and adorned with a straw hat, lacks a discernible face; instead, there are symbolic images such as a key, a wine glass, a bird, and a pipe on a blank canvas where the torso should be. The enigmatic character holds a peculiar wand-like object topped with a bouquet of facial features and eyes. The figure’s attire and the walking stick it holds suggest a sense of journey or pilgrimage, while the suitcase placed by its side further emphasizes this theme. The overall composition resonates with Magritte’s distinctive style, blending reality with dreamlike elements to challenge perceptions and evoke deeper interpretations.

The Rights of Man, Rene Magritte (1947)

In 1948, while musing on the purpose of the titles he assigned to his paintings, René Magritte proclaimed: “I think the best title for a picture is a poetic one. In other words, a title consistent with the more or less lively emotion we feel when we look at the picture”. Across a series of handwritten manuscripts—now preserved in the Archives of Contemporary Art in Belgium and collectively known as “On Titles”— the artist offered a collection of short statements on some of his recent work. Among these brief notes, Magritte wrote about Les droits de l’homme: "Here, man is reminded of his right to act on objects and change the world"

The Annuntiation, Rene Magritte (1930)

The Annunciation brings together many of the themes, both iconographic and philosophical, that engaged Magritte during his stay in Paris from 1927 to 1930, a period in which he was closely associated with the French Surrealists. The painting shows an unlikely combination of objects. Two large bilboquets (Magritte's term for the objects in his works, which, though imaginary, recall wooden balustrades or chess-pieces) stand next to an oddly shaped piece of paper with a decorative cut-out pattern. Behind them looms a grey metal 'curtain', hung with sleigh bells. Despite its incongruity, this collection of objects seems disconcertingly 'at home' in the rock-strewn landscape beneath the grey clouds in the blue sky. The size of the painting (it is one of the largest the artist ever executed), together with its traditional composition and subtle allusions to paintings of Old Master like Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, and Caravaggio, are signs of the ambitiousness of the work.

ElectriCiTY DaNcE

Kyumako's Broken form against Jerrell & Scornic

This fight, originally animated 5 years ago in Kyumako’s Vengeance Part 6, marks the first full appearance of Broken Kyumako, a terrifying power-up born from despair and darkness. This fight showcases one of the most pivotal clashes in the early Resurgent H16 timeline. Jerrell and Scornic, strong allies and friends, are forced to team up against Broken Kyumako. After the six dark orbs exploded in front of him, the smoke and remnants of that cursed energy enveloped Kyumako’s unconscious body… and what emerged was his true dark self. No longer the strategist, Broken Kyumako is raw emotion, unfiltered rage, and destructive resolve.

This is meant to be a joke. Just something stupid I made to pass the time

This is honestly just my goofing off to make something stupid. I personally found this to be funny - I HOPE everyone else feels the same way too. I'd also like to apologize to any saxophone player watching this Voice, animation, music, editing, thumbnail art - me. Also, yes this IS a parody of The Emoji Movie that's 7 years late.
