Hello, I am System Unit 393AP. In this animated video essay, I describe how the 21st century Cold War is being defined not by a competition of ideological economic systems, and fought not just by conventional military strategies, but also through an accelerationist push with AI and genetic engineering technologies to redefine the essence of what a "human" will be. The dawn of the cyborg age. Factor X: Posthumanism and the Fracturing of the Liberal Order

Meet REX: a tiny dinosaur with a massive attitude problem. He’s convinced he’s the toughest creature in the land… but the other dinos aren’t exactly shaking in their scales. This is a sequel of to my student film from 2006! I tried to capture the essence of 2006-era Flash animation.

Rex Part 2

Elise Morgenstern was just another overworked art student… until she died. Her savior? Valtheris, a bitter, immortal necromancer who resurrected her not out of mercy—but because he needs an apprentice to help hunt the monsters surging through mysterious portals across their world. Now, Elise is trapped in an undead limbo: her body unchanged but her soul fused with necromantic shadows. Armed with powers she never asked for (and Val’s relentless criticism), Elise must learn to: Extract fallen monsters’ essence to summon soldiers made of paint from her paint brush. An epic drama of adventure and exploration

#animationvideo #sourcefilmmaker #sfm #StanleyKubrick #movies This short film presents a stunning cosmic wonder, showcasing a dramatic planet alignment within our solar system. Inspired by the classic film "2001: A Space Odyssey" and its creator Kubrick, the sequence highlights the beauty and mystery of space. It's a visual journey that captures the essence of celestial movements. Compare our recreation to the original work here:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-QFj59PON4" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-QFj59PON4</a> music: richard strauss- Also sprach zarathustra I'll be making other videos soon. I try to be more active by beating the algorithm with content like this in my free time. I hope you enjoy it.

[SFM] 2001: A Space Odyssey Opening

Game DescriptionCurrent Sinestrah: Labyrinth of Sins is a prototype of a turn-based tactical roguelite with a strong adult erotic theme. In essence, you take control of a champion (like Rena, Ariasha, or Ofelia) and dive into a procedurally generated labyrinth. Your goal is to explore, survive, and grow stronger. The gameplay focuses on:Dungeon ExplorationMove through a 2D map, discovering rooms, corridors, treasures, traps (like the spiderwebs we just added), and special events.Turn-Based Tactical CombatWhen you encounter an enemy, the game shifts into combat mode. It’s not just about brute force—combat revolves around two core resources:<ul><li>Excitement (EXC): Works like the main “damage” type. When a character’s excitement reaches the limit, they climax, lose a “heart” (health), and their morale takes a hit.</li><li>Morale (MOR): Represents determination. If morale drops to zero, the character enters a “Submission” state and becomes vulnerable.</li></ul>Eromancy &amp; Goddess SystemBesides physical attacks, you can use Eromancy—erotic magic fueled by elemental energies (Lust, Love, Passion, etc.).You can also choose a patron goddess, earn her favor, and gain blessings that shape your run.Combat isn’t focused solely on violence—it’s about domination, seduction, and erotic power dynamics between characters. Current State of the ProjectThe game is in an advanced, fully playable prototype stage. The core gameplay loop is implemented and working:✔ Dungeon GeneratorThe current system creates complete levels with rooms, hallways, doors, and a coherent layout of events (start room, boss, treasure rooms, shops, altars, etc.).✔ Combat SystemThe turn-based mechanics are solid. Excitement, Morale, attacks, and basic eromancies are implemented. There are already several enemies (Slime Girl, Little Demon, Bunny Warrior), each with unique abilities and dialogue.✔ Character ProgressionYou can level up, assign stat points, and manage a full inventory with drag-and-drop equipment for weapons, armor, and accessories.✔ Basic ContentInitial consumables, gear, treasure chests, shops, and goddess altars are all included. In short, the core foundation is firmly established. Right now the focus is polishing the existing mechanics and, most importantly, adding more content. Future PlansThe goal is to expand this prototype into a full, replayable roguelite experience. The main plans are:Massive Content Expansion<ul><li>More Enemies: A wide variety of creatures with unique mechanics, dialogues, and abilities.</li><li>More Items &amp; Gear: Hundreds of new weapons, armor pieces, and accessories with special effects and passives that allow different playstyles.</li><li>New Rooms &amp; Events: More room types, puzzles, traps, and special encounters to keep each run unpredictable.</li><li>Floor Bosses: Unique bosses for each level of the labyrinth, with multi-phase battles and complex attack patterns.</li></ul>Deeper Game Systems<ul><li>Advanced Eromancy: A crafting-style system where players can combine elemental essences to discover new spells, making magic more dynamic and experimental.</li><li>Goddess Interaction: A deeper favor system with quests, more impactful blessings, and possibly curses if you anger them.</li><li>Narrative &amp; Dialogue: Expand the lore of the Labyrinth and its champions. Add more combat dialogue options that can influence battles in unexpected ways.</li></ul>Polish &amp; Quality of Life<ul><li>Audio: Original soundtrack and sound effects for actions, attacks, and UI.</li><li>Animations &amp; VFX: Enhanced animations and more visual effects to make combat feel more dynamic and impressive.</li><li>Save System: Add the ability to save the game and continue later.</li></ul> Well, as you can see, the game is still in its early stages... so your help with advice, mechanics, and ideas will be greatly appreciated in order to move forward in the best possible direction.I want to clarify that Ariasha's illustration differs from the champion selection because the design was different before. I have to redo her portrait image. Thanks!

I came across an old vhs tape from the mid 70s which had this weird racist advert. Revolving around a series of a duo named The Adventures of Rolf and Dom. This one they are stuck in the chinese rainforest until they come across some company.. Also this video is clearly jokes and satire. Calm down. It's a tribute to the racist commercials of the 50s and 60s and a satirical take on racist cartoons of the 30s - 60s in the Clutch Cargo style (well... sort of)

next episode:previous episode:first episode: As we already did with Adipositron, this is a special episode made of deleted scenes and rejected concept art from Psycho Essence Season 1. In the top left corner the green number shows for which episode the scene has originally been created. An E indicates, that the scene was incomplete and has been subsequently extended. If there is no green number, the scene has been newly created for this episode. The red number shows, during which episode it happens canonically. Green and red numbers don´t always line up, because ideas often get rearranged during production and have now to be brought into a somewhat coherent story.________________________________________We see Lurlem in her office as an agent of the Duck Division, before we jump to Hubert and Spai, immediately after they were sucked underground in the Swamp Temple. There they meet the Wandering Servant and receive visions of the battles taking place parallel on other timelines. The Wandering Servant travels on to the Brain Research Institute to deliver the hints regarding the children's whereabouts to Lamaduil. Time jump to the debacle at the Textile Dynasty. Here, too, the Wandering Servant keeps a watchful eye on events. The ensuing zombie storm on Nulln, during which Lurlem decides to trade her soul for information, gives us another overview of how the software and hardware of various characters have been restructured. The Wandering Servant visits the Bumbalas and gets an infodump on their history of resistance against Mother Nature. After it's revealed that the zombies originate from the Frms, there are a few space battle scenes against the Frms while Hubert and Spai carry out their mission at the Boltzmann Brain Hotspot. Once the zombies are defeated, the Msäcke arrive to take care of the Frms. We learn what happens at the Golden Castle while Hubert and Spai are traveling in the stolen Uboot. The castle takes root, and there is a reception attended by Sime, who previously worked for the Draftsmen´s Order and the Brain Research Institute. She saves the local population from the mistake of leaving captured Frms alive, or even negotiating with them. The Frms launch a nuclear strike, but the castle withstands it and destroys the F-fleet, while on the ground the fried children manually eliminate the remaining Frms. Afterwards, with contempt for Mother Nature's imposed transience, the devastated Oucshrivland is restored, and from the root grows an offshoot of Banania. A few Frm shoots have also survived in the ground, but the wandering servant takes over the landscape maintenance and mows them down.____________________________________________Other Wandering Servant episodes:

Season Finale with barbecue and near-death experience.

next episode:previous episode:first episode:______________________________________________________During a relaxed barbecue, Hubert and Spai land in the front yard of the Golden Castle. Lamaduil welcomes them and informs them about the evacuation of Oucshrivland, as it is soon to be purged of the Frms. However, Spai is unconscious and is confronted in his mind by Mother Nature. As usual, she wants evil to win, but the Msäcke disobey the laws of nature. While the Golden Castle sweeps away the F-troops in a massive firestorm, the green hooker jumps to Spai's side to drive Mother Nature out of his mind. She had enticed Spai into taking the jump in order to trigger an out-of-body experience through the extreme situation. Now she herself enters Spai's mind to manipulate him into breaking free from the constraints of nature. She succeeds, and Spai wakes up. Through the Golden Castle, they can now enter Banania, the capital of the Msack Empire, a cultural center full of exciting activities, but also a place for relaxation and inner contemplation. Here, they can truly do themselves well.

ESSENCE!!!

So it was like 2023 (yes this took a long time mostly because my day job got in the way and when I'm too tired I just sit and play really long 4x games) and I was getting back into making my own cartoons again. I was talking to a co-worker at my day job about how he would go to a shisha bar with friends and they decided he smoked too much and used that as an excuse to ditch him and the one guy was smoking a cigar. I was like 'ehh lets base it very loosely on the essence of that but do something different to try and push myself before I get to writing my web series 🤡 ' and I came up with this idea of comparing different types of smoking. It wasn't even necessarily meant to be all that straightforwardly funny but as it went and I was desperate to move on to other projects jokes just kind of emerged from going stir crazy or hiding shortcuts because it was taking too long. I actually really enjoyed designing these guys and they're definitely showing up again, the tall guy was not iterated at all and was exactly how I wanted him to look right away. All the voices I just mimicked from other Australian YouTube shit I liked over the years (see if you can guess them!) because they just fit the specific type of dude I was imagining and this was originally not going to be a big thing but something I put out in a few months that wasn't just something I had to throw together for a jam. God I'm so happy this is out of my brain and people can stop asking if I 'still make cartoons?' for a while before I inevitably make a project way too big again. LMAO. Tried some editing tricks I learned doing a lot of live action editing the last few years too and I think I did okay on that front, a few things compositionally that I'd change but that's for next time, there's a point where you just have to finish and move on. I still have a lot to learn about sound design though, I really want future soundscapes to be a lot richer and to really figure out how balancing works. I regret never having the time to do the classes available when I was doing my masters at film school but I had so much editing to do back then I needed all that time to put docos and short films together. Fuck even my description is taking way too long I just kind of lived this thing forever. Got more cool shit planned for the future! Hope you like xoxoxoxoEDIT: DAILY THIRD!? THANK YOU GUYSSO MUCH!

The opening animation for FLCL REANIMATED!

NEVER KNOWS BEST. In August of 2024, we came onto FLCL Reanimated to make an animated OP for the collab. We took this one super seriously! The goal was to make something that felt true to the source material, while also capturing the essence of what a reanimated collab is all about: showcasing a bunch of different visual styles. We wanted to touch on 2D, 3D, and mixed media to really give this some variety and an element of surprise. Like the intro itself, the production was fast-paced and high energy. Pre-production began in August and we wrapped on the whole thing in December. A lot of work, but a lot of fun too. We hope the fun we had on this translates to something equally fun to watch! THANK YOU to everyone that helped, and to FLCL Reanimated for trusting us with this element of the collab. You guys rock!!

A bunny meets a friend in the forest, or is it...

Ohhh my god this was way more difficult that I thought it would be. If you can't tell it's using a full 3d environment and lighting in Blender. My last animations all used a 2d environment with no lighting, so this was a big step up in technial difficulty. But I think it works. If you like the style and would like me to continue doing stuff like this, please let me know :) Also a huge shout out to the musicians on this one.The first track is by DJKolbasa and it's called 'Essence of Fear'.And the second track is by DCgamer82 and it's called 'Horror Ambience'.Please be sure to check these artists out. Busty elf fingers herself whilst encouraging you to jerk it.

Hi hi! Please enjoy this promo for my Koe Luv solo animation. This was a chance to practice some delicate finger work, which is underrated but can be difficult to animate. Also, I wanted something that worked at a slower pace. If I have a regret, it's not giving her something more comfortable than a stone floor to lay on. So, I tried to work that into the script a bit near the end. For voice and story on this one I tapped the venerable Bordeaux Black to write and record and I think she did a great job with it. She was able to capture the essence of the character here with just one word ("reciprocal"). Just a great performance through and through. LASHES OF THE SEA - Announcement Trailer

I dont know when ill finish this but i will

Essence and Zenon vs Smiley

This is an anthology film which is a trilogy and comprises some of my previous works. From dehumanizing the enemy to dehumanizing the perceived self in a dying world, the film attempts to navigate through the chaos of tragedy and transcendence. It's a story about the new Zarathustras of our world, and it's also one about embracing absurdity, akin to a smiling Sisyphus. The trilogy, as depicted through the short films "Fragile Symphony," "World of Grey Men," and "Guardless," offers an exploration of the human experience in the face of existential challenges, societal structures, and the relentless passage of time. At its core, the trilogy is a meditation on death—not merely as a biological inevitability but as a pervasive force that shapes individual and collective consciousness. In "Fragile Symphony," the narrative unfolds amidst the backdrop of a calamity, symbolized by the sinking of the RMS Symphony. The dehumanization of the "enemy" during wartime serves as an introduction to the harsh realities of human conflict. Here, the trilogy sets the stage for an examination of how societies, in the pursuit of power and survival, often reduce individuals to mere entities, stripping away their humanity. "World of Grey Men" delves into the contemporary landscape, particularly the tumultuous times marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. The protagonist, a student navigating the complexities of a world in crisis, reflects on the structures that govern human behaviour. The concept of the "guard" serves as a metaphor for both societal authority and the perception of a higher power. The film contemplates the consequences of expanding the metaphorical panopticon, drawing parallels between societal structures and the panopticon's watchful gaze. "Guardless" catapults us into a speculative future where the grand narratives of the present have collapsed. The protagonist, an artist, grapples with a world devoid of traditional theological structures. The film explores the banality of existence in a post-collapse era, where the mundane takes centre stage. In this narrative, the "guard" transforms into an abstract concept—a symbolic representation of the death of God and the dismantling of traditional belief systems. Throughout the trilogy, the themes of dehumanization, existential questioning, and societal critique resonate. The protagonists—be they anonymous grey figures or introspective artists—become vessels for the audience to contemplate the human condition. The absence of explicit identities allows viewers to project themselves onto these characters, making the themes universally relevant. The concept of a Nietzschean Zarathustra echoes through the trilogy, not as a singular character but as an idea that manifests differently in each film. The new Zarathustras of the world are not only mourners of the death of God but, in a contemporary twist, may also be complicit in killing or redefining these metaphysical entities. This dynamic highlights the evolving nature of belief systems and the responsibility individuals bear in shaping the narratives that govern societies. The trilogy engages with philosophical ideas from thinkers such as Simone de Beauvoir and Audre Lorde. The distinction between the master, vulnerable, and powerful, as well as the critique of using the master's tools to dismantle the master's house, add layers of depth to the exploration of power dynamics, oppression, and societal structures. The Proustian and Kafkaesque moments contribute to the atmosphere of the trilogy. For instance, the juxtaposition of dystopian imagery and moments of melancholia in "World of Grey Men" tries to create a nuanced emotional landscape. The trilogy borrows elements from existential philosophy, absurdism, and critiques of societal structures to craft a narrative that invites introspection and contemplation. In essence, this trilogy is a tapestry of ideas. This philosophical exploration invites the audience to confront the fragility of existence, grapple with the consequences of societal choices, and reflect on the ever-shifting nature of belief systems.

next episode:<a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/995538">https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/995538</a>previous episode:first episode:_________________________________________________________After the Battle of Einsn, the wounded are treated in the sickbay. While Spai argues with the hermaphrodite ambassador about his accession to the throne, Lamaduil brings the news that the Maschinensäcke are taking over the fight against the Freitaglandmänner, as they are their mortal enemies. Fearful of their explosive encounter and to avoid the coronation, Spai steals the Uboot together with Hubert and flies away aimlessly. They are pursued by General Schneider from the textile dynasty, who was on the track of the green hooker, who in turn had tracked down Spai. He seeks revenge for the destruction of the Textile Flagship in episode 6. He escaped the explosion and collected Hubert, Spai and Lurlem's clothes. Since, as a textile lifeform, he considers clothing to be persons and believes that he is in possession of hostages with which he wants to bring Hubert and Spai to surrender. But they don't care about their old clothes. General Schneider is defeated in a duel, but the green hooker intervenes. In the meantime, she has had her split personality united by the hermaphrodites in the sickbay, the final step out of her former existence as the chief taxidermist of the Textile Dynasty. She now advises Spai, who is running away from his responsibilities, to jump from the Uboot. Hubert wants to save him and falls into the depths with him. They are caught by the golden castle of the Maschinensäcke._______________________________________________________________Read full backstory of the Green Hooker:

Hey fans of the thicc!

A song by Major Danger about finding different angles and perspectives, Enjoy!

Yo, what's good everyone? It's Major Danger here, and I'm excited to share with you our new track, "Perspectives". This song is all about lookin' at things from different angles, and findin' your own perspective. And let me tell you, the official music video, animated by Vincent Uy, is out of this world. First and foremost, I gotta give a big shout out to all our fans out there. You guys are the reason we do what we do, and we couldn't do it without your support. You keep us goin' and we're forever grateful for that. Now, let me tell you about the animator of this video, Vincent Uy. This guy is a genius, let me tell you. He brought the song to life in a way that I never thought was possible. Every single frame of that video is a work of art. He really knows how to capture the essence of the song and bring it to life in a visually stunning way. The idea for "Perspectives" came to us while we were thinkin' about the importance of seein' things from different angles.Ya know, in today's world, it's easy to get caught up in our own perspectives and miss the bigger picture. But this song is all about steppin' outside of your comfort zone and explorin' new perspectives. It's about growin' and learnin' and never settlin' for one point of view. And let me tell ya, there's no greater message than one that talks about followin' your dreams. No matter what obstacles you may face, it's important to remember that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. We hope that our music can serve as a source of inspiration for those who are chasin' their own dreams. But let me tell you, it wasn't always easy for me to believe in myself and chase my dreams. I remember I had a near-death experience a few years back, and it changed my life forever. I was in a terrible car accident, and for a moment, I thought it was all over. But as I was drifting in and out of consciousness, I had a vision. I saw myself traveling to other dimensions, communicating with extraterrestrial beings, and even time traveling. It was the most profound and life-changing experience of my life. In that moment, I realized that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. I knew that if I could survive that accident, I could do anything. And that's when I decided to chase my dreams, no matter what anyone said. I wanted to share that message with the world through my music, and that's why "Perspectives" is so important to me. I know that some of you might think that traveling to other dimensions and talking to aliens is a bit far-fetched. But let me tell you, anything is possible if you believe in yourself and never give up. I've seen it with my own eyes, and I know that you can too. So, I encourage you to keep an open mind, and never stop chasing your dreams. The possibilities are endless, and you never know what you might discover. So, check out the official music video on our YouTube page, and join us on this journey of discoverin' different perspectives. And as always, we appreciate your support and couldn't do it without you. Stay true to yourself, and never stop chasin' your dreams. Peace out! next episode:previous episode:first episode:_____________________________________________The zombies reanimate dead tyrants to use them as leaders for their four nations. Meanwhile, the Brain Research Institute is planning to make Boltzmann's brains materialize directly inside the zombies' heads in order to cure them of their brainlessness. Hubert, Spai and Lamaduil go to a Boltzmann Brain Hotspot, where there is a particularly high occurrence of brains. Boltzmann brain expert Gustav Uhlenqvist shows them the process on a captured zombie. The zombie is healed, but immediately dies from emotional overload. Gustav gives Spai a hallucinogenic drug (see episode 1), which is now being used as a catalyst to redirect the quantum fluctuation from the Boltzman Brain Hotspot to the zombies. Spai hallucinates the powers of the monkey god (see episode 2) and beats up a representative zombie. The beatings are causing massive brain formations in Oucshrivland. There, the Nulln troops take the opportunity to attack the distracted zombies.

The dark wizard plans to take the essence of the land's 5 royals to bring an age of darkness. When evil arrives, who will save the night? Happy Pixel day. I wanted to try mixing sprite sections in with my animation similar to Bit by Bit but more cohesive. I kind of have a better feel for the kind of stuff I can pull off with this if I plan better.-------This was something I wanted to complete for a while now. The original plan was to make this for the last Pixel day, but due to a lot of personal reasons in order to finish it in time, I would have had to cut it in half and do a lot of shots in a less satisfying way. It made me just decide to abandon the whole thing. However, after a lot of time away from it, I was able to find enough mental ducktape to finish it.Like always with these things, I wish I planned my time better so I can do have time to go in and fix all the things that bother me/ avoid last-minute rushing, but one day I'll succeed. But at least this got done, regardless of what flaws are still baked in..

Save the Night

Expecting parents simply being contented and looking forward to the future

Big thanks to Euphionia for making the music for this!<a href="https://euphioniaofficial.newgrounds.com/" rel="nofollow">https://euphioniaofficial.newgrounds.com/</a> Previously we had an animation with a not so happy pregnancy so here is a happy one! We need more happy families in this world. Anyway this might be a good time to talk about the twoex species. They aren't entirely physical creatures but the females are less connected to the physical world than the males. You see, when a mother is pregnant her womb is actually a galaxy far away. Her stomach still grows as it shows them the development of their baby, is if the baby exists in 2 places at once. In one place the child is being taken care of by the parents and in the other it would receive the essence of the galaxy. This can give the baby special talents or powers that are unique to it's dimension. After the baby is fully developed, the father's job comes into place. In their species, the male has the ability to bring the child into the physical world. This requires a lot of energy from the father as he will be needing to create a portal for his baby to travel through space and time. You could say that it breaks the laws of physical for a little bit. It's a little difficult to explain but I hope what I wrote is understandable. this is an animation based on this drawing that I made in 2020
