A trailer for the demo version of a game I want to keep developing, SAGUARO.

This is my entry for <a href="https://aalasteir.newgrounds.com/news/post/1599638" rel="nofollow">Aalasteir's Original Game Concept Animation Jam</a>. I've had this idea of a kangaroo rat fighting predators with his ninja skills for a long time now. For those who've been following me for a while now, you might remember that back in 2021, I uploaded a fake trailer about the same idea but never made a follow up. Then, in 2024, I pitched my idea to my university's game development club and it won the chance to be developed over the next semester as a long-term game. Only one level was completed, but since then, I've hoped for the opportunity to develop it further, into a much bigger project. Hopefully by submitting this trailer to the animation jam, I can get more support to push my idea to its fullest potential, and maybe a full playable game will come to fruition someday! Here's the game design document which explains everything I hope to accomplish with this game: <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aH587hdusRKv8aQV2C5Xlgb3RuRO5h_Gbdn1XRQXC4s/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aH587hdusRKv8aQV2C5Xlgb3RuRO5h_Gbdn1XRQXC4s/edit?usp=sharing</a> In the meantime, you can play the level 1 demo on itch.io and let me know what you think! It's still got some bugs, but I'm proud of how it came out: <a href="https://aztec-game-lab.itch.io/saguaro" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://aztec-game-lab.itch.io/saguaro</a>

BoltDozers - Conceptual Trailer

Film Description: Believed to be an overactive imagination, Alex's ability to see "beyond reality" was frowned upon as they became older. When Alex returns for Autumn break one year, they attempt to reconnect with that ability. They bring their oldest stuffed animal Shmeb along, and the two push Freeality further than it's ever gone. Context: This is my senior thesis that got delayed by a year due to the COVID pandemic. In the following years after the initial release, I had a falling out with the (main) friends I'd dedicated it to, and wanted nothing to do with it afterward. It still hurts to look at, but I've decided that this is my only major project that I can currently upload here since there's no copyrighted music, and I want to have an animation on here that is better than the previous ones. It got a good reception whenever I submitted it to film festivals, so I know there's something here worth uploading. There is a sequel planned. As a side note, just because this was brought up a lot while I was making this: Yes. I was obviously inspired by Steven Universe, however, this was in production before SU Future came out, so the jacket design was a complete coincidence. I made the design back in 2018 for a concept art class (sure the star in general is there, but it's easy to animate).Other inspirations include: Paranoia Agent, Ed, Edd n Eddy, The Odd Hustle by Cody Collins, Adventure Time, Get Out (2017) and <a href="https://preview.redd.it/bobby-hill-ascending-v0-z9utlw0pmy2f1.png?width=1080&amp;crop=smart&amp;auto=webp&amp;s=9b2158609c1243081924fcaedf3ccde80f25fff9" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">this meme</a>.

Freeality (2021)

This is my entry for the Original Game Concept Animation Jam, an intriguing yet uncanny and unsettling introductory story cutscene for the multimedia psychological survival horror game I am developing. I do entirely plan to return to this scene in particular to improve it and add things I was unable under constraints. My hope is that I will be able to entertain you, put a smile on your face, or if I am so fortunate, capture your imagination and leave you wanting to pursue your own wild ideas and never drift away from that. Hello, this is (hopefully one of many) my entree to Aalsteir's OGCA Jam

Phantom Legion - Jetstream Boss Fight Preview

Hey folks, been a while huh? It's been like, 30 days since my last upload. Anyway, this is what I've been working on for all that time, yes, I know the movement is a little stuttery and yes, I know my microphone is a little too quiet, I'm sorry. I'm working with MS paint and Clipchamp studio over here, and the only microphone I got is the one on my headset. That being stated, I am really proud of this animation, I think it came out pretty well despite what I was working with (and despite how lazy I am for that matter) For those who it will concern, I won't be doing any more P0stalVertig0 after this 2026. This year is the last you'll see of Benn and Larah for a while, at least in the realm of storytelling. I might draw some art of them here and there, but not as much as I used to. I've got about 3 to 4 art projects going before I go on a hiatus for the rest of the year. And on that note, on to the news. The year is almost up, just 3 more months till 2027 hits us. Overall, I'm really proud with my output, I can actually see the improvement and evolution in my art style from the start of the year to now, and I hope to keep improving. There were times where I would rush out a piece the was perhaps half-baked or just not up to par with the rest of my output simply so I could meet a made up deadline that I thought up. I don't want to do that no more, starting in 2027, my art output might slow down, and hopefully that means an improvement in my art. I want to improve my shadows, character design, backgrounds, boobs, stuff like that. With that in mind, I got something y'all might like, a new project in my mind, and not just that, 2 OF THEM TOO! The first one in store will be a continuation of my UnderDurst Yello' series. (if you have not seen that, please check it out) This time, instead of Undertale Yellow, I'm gonna plop Fred Durst off into the cozy town of Hometown, where he will meet a whole slew of new and inviting monsters, deers, birds, barney the dinosaur, OH MY! And it is in this town where he will begin another journey of death, music, comedy, and furries. Yeah, okay, enough beating around the bush, I'm parodying Deltarune, we're doing DeltaDurst. For anyone interest, just check out the banner for my Newgrounds page to get an idea of what's in store. Secondly, Backwash. In the year 2012, God came down to earth to take those worthy souls back to heaven to be spared judgement day. Finding nothing but a world conquered by sex, drugs, and violence, he brought no one back, there was not rapture, yet there was judgement. 1000 years later, in the year 3012, a man by the name of Byron Scotch finding himself transported from the past into a dark a dreary world where he must fight off a slew of animalistic super soldiers, and by some miracle, get back home. I'll only be releasing concept art in 2027 for this one. I want to plan it out a little more, but what I just told you is the basic premise. Thank you all for checking out my art, it truly means a lot to me. I hope that whatever I make is up to your standards of what you expect from me. I wish you all nothing but the best, God bless each and every one of you. POSTPONED EXPIRATION - Ep. 0

They have a great relationship, I think...

They have a great relationship, I think... Kept you waiting, huh? I'm not sure if I ever put it in the descriptions on here but since I am trying to step up the quality and length of videos I will likely only be posting once a month or so on here (more on socials/Patreon for other short videos/things that don't fit this site). I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out overall; I think the concept is cute and there's a lot of ways to go. I also think this one lends itself to either futa or lesbian, so there is a lesbian version on Patreon. I have another part planned for this video, but it might be a while to get there since the concept will be kind of complicated to enact (definitely isn't the next video); this video still has some technical things that I am trying to see how to rectify, but they probably would have taken another month to fix so I suppressed my ego and am posting it and will continue to look for solutions while making more stuff. There's some teasing, light absurdity, and intense hole usage, a whole bunch of stuff I enjoy doing and hope you enjoy watching! If you think this content is good and want to support, or want early access to videos (including unique shorts and stills), higher quality versions, work-in-progress reports on projects, or want to see alts of these videos from other angles/sometimes the same context in both lesbian and futa, try <a href="https://www.patreon.com/c/OneBigBit" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patreon</a>! I post 1-2 times a week about works in progress, early videos, etc. Regardless, thank you for watching my content here! Fur—a powerful Phantom possessing a consciousness far superior to that of other creatures. Furnoc’s darkness owes its very birth to this being. It stole the sun, moon, and stars back when they took forms other than the Primary Lights known in Lumak’s era. Using its powers, Fur created a wide variety of creatures and guarded its fellow Phantoms like a sentinel. It is said that the existence of Light-Eaters is like a lingering remnant of this Phantoms memory. The story of Fur was recorded in ancient Phantom writings. How Fur disappeared is an apparently lost mystery... I want to create an own video game that will uncover this secret. It will be a prequel to the times of Raining Ink, when Phantoms were an oppressed species. It contains elements that exactly match my inner world. Everything I write about it is a rough concept. It’s not final, just my first thoughts on it. Porn pov featuring a raptor in maid costume

"Here's your key sir. Please follow our maid raptor over there, she will lead you to your room. Have a nice stay in the park."I took my room keycard from the receptionist and looked toward the elevator. There was an actual raptor right there, in the flesh! I already saw a tons of videos, commercials and documentary about the park and their dinosaurs, but man! Watching them with my own eyes instead of through a screen, this is a dream comes true! If I didn't win that ticket, I could never afford to come here!Maid raptor wasn't just a figure of speech, the creature was litterally a raptor wearing a maid outfit. I knew the park made a great effort at taming the dinosaur, making great progress at communicating with them, creating their own little intelligent society, but I never would have thought they reached a point they would understand the very concept of job, or at least service. The raptor maid looked at me, and I couldn't help but shiver, seeing her piercing predatory eyes starring to mine. One can only feel humble by that first look, an old prey feeling. She made a head gesture with a soft growl, obviously inviting me to follow her. I took my luggage and walked to her. She looked down and up on me, and I think she actually smiled but I may be wrong... We entered the elevator together. She checked on my keycard and pressed the right floor button with her snout. I was alone in a tight elevator with an actual breathing raptor aside of me. My heart was rushing. The situation felt both scary and exciting. I couldn't help but stare at this maid raptor. Her elegant shape, her razor sharp claws... her powerful legs... her exciting scent? I'm not exagerating, a scent of hormones was spreading in the air, it was hard not to understand the girl was in heat. She must be impatient of going back to her male I imagined. She turned to me with shining eyes, and purred slowly."Uhm, hey! I know you must hear that everyday... but I'm a big fan! Meeting you is an honor!".She growled happily. Maybe she was trained to do so, but to me, it meant the world. She approached her head to my hand and gave it a lick. An actual raptor just gave me an affectuous lick, what else could I ask for! I was so excited, I started petting her, until I realized she's cleverer than she looked like. I withdrew my hand."S...Sorry... that was rude of me, I..."She growled again, but this time she started rubbing her head on my belly, almost on my crotch. Now I was taken aback. The scent in the air was strong, being alone with this powerful beast in a tight elevator and my secret sexual attraction to the raptors gave me a rush. I was hard as hell. She starts smelling me. Oh god, she will understand how horny I am, she can tear me apart so easily for that. But she purred slowly... almost sensually... was I dreaming all that?*DING*The elevator's doors opened. End of the line. "Uhm... there we are, right?". The maid raptor shook her head, and started walking down the corridor, geturing for me to follow her. Seeing her walk, I could see her rump balancing, her tail waving in the air, high enough to see that small opening at the base of it, her cloaca. Horny as I was, my mind started wandering, I couldn't help but wonder how she felt... from her insides... how getting closer to her could be like...mating with her, or at least pretending we were, just for the pleasure of it... I tried to drive these thoughts from my mind. That was literally my first time encountering an actual raptor, and I already thought about having sex with her. I felt ashamed... then again, she started it right? Whatever, I should really control myself. We reached my room. "Thanks... and uhm... sorry about... the elevator..."She pushed me on my door, used her hands to block me, put a paw on the wall on my side, and growl right at my face. My first thought was "I screwed up, and now I'll pay the price of my depravity". But she stopped the growling, and started licking my face. No more mixed-signal, she was having her way with me. I started caressing her head, and open my mouth so I could lick her tong back. She growled in pleasure. She was waiting for it since the beginning. We sort of "kiss" for a little moment. She then started to move slowly down... down... down... I suddendly realized where we were."Right... right now? In the middle of this corridor? Shouldn't we move... inside?" She gave me a pleading look. Obviously she couldn't take too long for that, she had to get back to work soon. Whatever, this was the chance of my life. I unbuttonned my pants. She smiled, I'm sure of that. I exposed my dick out, harder than ever, very sensible. She put her snout around it, she was very careful with the teeth, as if this wasn't her first ride with a human. And maybe it wasn't, which is why she was so confident with me to begin with. And she started sucking. It was sensationnal. At this moment, I was the happiest man on Earth. After the Mia animation that was a lot harder to work on, I wanted to make something easier. While going through my files, I came across this raptor maid model I downloaded some times ago, and immmdiatly felt in love with her again! So I went for it! A new raptor animation, I haven't done it in some times! I had a lot of fun with her, I'm glad with the way this animation came out! Raptor Maid Extra Service

At long last, here's a new TrouserToons episode! I honestly wasn't expecting this episode to be over 9 minutes long, but what can you do? XD. Unlike the past few, this one isn't actually based on a specific old episode concept or anything, but rather I came up with it since I realized that Ethan never really had a proper full episode to himself. His biggest roles have mostly just been as either a side character or in shorts. I mean, look at the other kid characters. Johnnie, Janie, Myla, Sunshine, Emma, Maddie, and even Coco had all gotten full episodes to themselves. A "day in the limelight", if you will. It's really only Ethan who got the short end of the stick here. Bully might be a close second, but even he still had his moments. So, I decided to fix that! I decided to make an episode where I pair Ethan and Bully together! Since... well, it's a character pairing that I don't think I've ever done before XD. So, here's the end result! I hope you all enjoy! TrouserToons - Ethan's Visit

I'm making a game where the goal is simple type words or letters that appear on screen as fast as possible, all while facing off against 10 opponents each with different specialties, which makes things tougher, hoping you'll like the concept!

TRAILER FOR MY GAME

A fight breaks out at Hector's gas station, and he tries to keep it from being destroyed.

For a long time, I wanted to work on something outside of college and focus on creating my own character and story. But when your break from animating is animating, it eventually becomes exhausting.I don't remember exactly when I started this project, but one of the earliest sketches of the gas station dates back to March of last year. The part that took me the longest was modeling the environment in 3D. At that point, I still didn't have the concept for the short film, but I already had the basic premise of Hector's story. The hardest part was coming up with an idea that wasn't impossible to animate. Every time I came up with something, I had to simplify it until it eventually became what it is today.I always knew Hector would try to protect his gas station, facing conflicts he wouldn't know how to deal with and outcomes that wouldn't always turn out the way he hoped. But I also wanted him to be able to accept that by the end of the day and keep moving forward, a lesson I had to learn myself several times while making this short film. -Instagram:<a href="https://www.instagram.com/reyessmateo_art/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> https://www.instagram.com/reyessmateo_art/</a>

Quarrel- Animated Shortfilm

Nocteon is a planet bathed in eternal night skies with ruins of a long forgotten civilization scattered through its valleys. Somehow, the flora of this planet is sustained well with its absence of a sun, yet despite this wonder, whatever intelligent life had lived here has since moved on. As a Pathfinder, it was once your goal to survey planets of interest like this. However, since the 'decommission of service' these kind of planets always seem to find their way to your travels. A video game concept I dreamed of creating one day, where the main character embarks on a journey of a cosmic scale! Exploring many crazy and impossible worlds, running on cosmic roads connected to an infinite sky! / This is the second scene for my conceptual project "RAIDHO". It was created using Blender for blocking out shapes and perspective, Procreate for the illustration and Adobe After Effects for a simple parallax animation.

Waking up trashed and fatally damaged in a world he doesn’t recognise. ‘Sonar’ has lost his memories of the events prior, with only an inner voice that's not his own, guiding him to a path of recovery and answers. RAIDHO - Derived from the Proto-Germanic word ‘raido’, representing the concept of journey and travel in Norse mythology. The symbol of cosmic order and the interconnectedness of the universe.A video game concept I dreamed of creating one day, where the main character embarks on a journey of a cosmic scale! Decay - The Raidho Project (Parallax Animation)

After over a month without a TrouserToons episode, here's a new one! This episode also features David's cuckoo clock bird, Luco! Like "The Do-Gooders", this episode is also based on a super old concept I came up with in 2023. And I actually wrote a plot outline for it that time. However, that version was actually a lot more ambitious than this one as it involved the clock traveling all across the city, among other things. It also didn't feature Luco at all, funnily enough. But for this episode, I ended up simplifying the plot by quite a bit so it doesn't become a nightmare for me to animate. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the finished episode! The clock counts down your freedom... Listen to 'Timber Heart Silence' & step

<blockquote>"They existed before humans learned to name the darkness. And they waited—patient, silent, immortal—until you stepped through the door." 🕯️</blockquote> You arrived in Mina drömmars stad, the City of Dreams, with nothing but a single, battered bag carrying eighteen years of loneliness from one orphanage to another. You walked past the frozen cobblestone streets, beneath the fading orange-tiled roofs weathered by sea salt and heavy moss, looking for a place to disappear. And then, Mrs. Ann found you. She brought you here, into this hallway of muted emerald walls and the faint, deceptive comfort of dried chamomile and simmering tea. Under the warm, golden glow of the chandelier, the madness of the world outside seems to fade away. Here, you allow yourself to believe you are safe. You allow yourself to warm your bleeding fingers by the hearth and pretend that you are not running from a fate too monstrous to comprehend. But do not let the quiet fool you. Listen closely to 'Timber Heart Silence'. Beneath the comforting melody lies a suffocating stillness. The grandfather clock in the corner doesn't just count the hours—it counts the remaining heartbeats of your freedom. Every heavy tick is a warning. Every shadow stretching along the staircase is a reminder that the safety of this house is nothing but borrowed time. Outside, the chilling fog is creeping under the floorboards, and the velvet snare of the Matchmaker's shop is already tightening around your soul. You were not chosen because you are strong. You were chosen because you are the only one who can look into the eyes of the entity waiting in the dark, and not bow your head. The hearth is fading. The clock is ticking. Will you find a true home within these walls, or will you let the shadows rewrite your mind? The playable Demo of Wandering Relics is officially live. Wandering Relics OST | Mrs Ann's house ( Timber heart silence )

Buzz Bunny... Well, erm... Burns the blunt I supopose.

So this is a bit of an unanticipated upload but the next Screwypilled Tooncels cartoon still isn't complete and I'm trying to relax on my California trip since it's not that long(next time I wanna stay longer for SURE though I love it here) despite me initially wanting to have completed it here so I can say I made a cartoon in California.... I still wanted to deliver something though and I remembered Dirty Soda had a character, Dizzy, from this cartoon. This is my Illustration class project final, originally screened on April 24th of this year. I wanted to use my animation expertise in a classroom full of Graphic Design majors, though the animation is very limited since it wasn't an animation class. It almost looks like Rocky and Bullwinkle at times. But everyone was absolutely howling. I made some changes from the version I showed in class though, you can see that version <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jp_Sp5WWOWg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">on YouTube.</a> Namely, I changed the background music to <a href="https://pixabay.com/music/modern-jazz-the-ghost-of-shepardx27s-pie-glbml-112816/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ghost of Sheperd's Pie</a> by Geoffrey Burch because apparently Happy Go-Lively by Laurie Johnson from the Ren and Stimpy soundtrack isn't public domain/copyright-free despite feeling like it should be tbh, and I didn't find out until after I had made that version. I also got rid of the film grain since that was actually added at the request of my professor when I explained I was parodying old PSA cartoons like One Beer and Sonic Sez, and changed the name to Buzz Bunny Burns The Blunt to differentiate it from the Screwypilled Tooncels One Joint cartoon. Another key difference is that I restored the suicide joke cut from the version I presented in class. But enough yapping, you guys let me know which version you like best. Here's concept art. I initially tried making Buzz look as stupid as fuck as possible. Just look at this idiot:<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621726_25934615.webp" alt="iu_1621726_25934615.webp" data-smart-scale="764,430"> As well as this comic version I made to present to my class alongside the animated version to promote my portfolio site to classmates:<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/621/iu_1621728_25934615.webp" alt="iu_1621728_25934615.webp" data-smart-scale="764,1019">

A short about Sonic not eating strawberries.

Sonic has a pile of strawberries, but he won't eat them. It's a strange concept, but it has a deeper meaning. This is my first Flash animation produced since May, and I managed to finish it before Sonic's birthday. It taught me a lot about animating in Macromedia Flash 8, so much so that I plan to share what I learned in a future blog post. For those interested, the link is here ;) <a href="https://gamebluesadvance.blogspot.com/2013/06/blog-post.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Game Blues: Animação em Flash - O que eu gostaria de saber antes de começar</a> (just scroll down to the Translate option)For the Youtube version (I also uploaded the animation there): <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZcjtP7-Mbw" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZcjtP7-Mbw</a> I hope you enjoyed it!

Concept trailer for a game about drag racing (not like that)

Entry for <a href="https://aalasteir.newgrounds.com/news/post/1599638" rel="nofollow">Aalasteir (or whatever his name is this week)'s Original Game Concept Animation Jam!</a> [will include game design document here later] Five minutes before the end probably. Or not, kind of already broke the existing franchise rule anyway. It'll be fine, it just has lots and lots of guest characters, tell me what existing franchise it's a fan game of, all of them!? Don't be ridiculous. Anyway, the idea is it's a business management simulation with some idle game elements. You take bets to earn money for running events, hiring new racers, sabotaging anybody you didn't bet on yourself, the usual. And before you point it out, obviously the big chicken's attack should be an egg (shell) but the familiar turtle was more recognisable so just used it for this. The ironic thing is, I'm never going to make this! Going to use the sprites for a proper vehicle combat thing (I've just decided). Already playing this game on YouTube-(<a href="https://www.patreon.com/53xy83457" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">join the patreon</a> to take part if you like) So to summarise: I can just make games if I want to make games, this is completely against the spirit of the jam and I've wasted everybody's time. However, I will be keeping an eye out for other entries so, as suggested in the <a href="https://aalasteir.newgrounds.com/news/post/1599638" rel="nofollow">original post</a>, do indeed keep track of your assets.

A proof of concept for the cutscenes in our planned Graphic Novel NSFW game.

This is just proof of concept for the cutscenes in our planned Graphic Novel NSFW game - Estate of The Late. As stated in the <a href="https://queencomplex.net/eotl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Estate of The Late’s public page</a> gameplay paragraph – the main gist of the game is mostly exploration and socialization. This is an example of how we intend the “socialization” aspect to be like – presented through a sort of fully voiced animatics. We hope you’d like to hang with girls like these. Of course, the real Sex Scenes will be fully animated. All of the voices here were done by AaimzTako (<a href="https://x.com/Aaimz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@Aaimz</a>). There will likely be separate actresses for some of the characters, but I think it is safe to say that Aaimz has definitely locked down the role for Angelica (The blond girl). Subscribers get to hear behind-the-scenes alternative take with <a href="https://x.com/Nami955" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nami955</a> voicing Dorothy (the tomboy). We are aware that the game development updates here haven’t been rolling in very often; they are more frequent for our subscribers. That is because we have been juggling with 3-4 different projects at the same time, now we will be significantly leaning on to rule34 animation – specifically the Sirens’ Cage animation. In turn, there will now be much less Rule34 drawn content, because animation production better synchronizes with the development of this game project that we are making. So from here on expect more updates on the “Sirens’ Cage” animation – we aim to finish that Late Spring or Early Summer.

Estate of The Late - Test Cutscene

Proof of concept for our upcoming series MOTHELL

The Mothell is always open.Come in. Sit down.Something will come along. Okay, let me try to explain a bit of the context, even though words aren't really my thing. The concept is very simple: we're in this surreal diner/motel floating in a space/non-space, where ambiguous characters come looking for... rest? Comfort? Who knows... And where things happen. In every episode a new character is added, and there will be no time ellipses — they'll all be consecutive. All episodes together, watched in a row, will form a single short/feature film, I imagine.Nothing earth-shattering in the traditional sense, but every episode is a metaphor for something — although I won't be the one to say which ones, I'd like everyone to see what they want in it.There's a lore behind it, and what happens happens for a reason, but again, I'd like you to discover it as you go through the series. I'd like to tell you how this idea was born, but I've spent the last two weeks working so intensely day and night on this project... so many ideas, so many changes of direction, additions, modifications, that I've forgotten what the initial spark was. I think that at some point I simply said to myself "Hey, let's try to produce something, doesn't matter what." And so I started putting together some of the low poly assets I've created over the last few years, without worrying too much about the story, just to see what happened. To have that feeling again from when I was a child and played with my toys, and it was enough to just spread them out in front of me on the floor, and suddenly they came to life and anything could happen. And, just like back then, everything happened. I took my "abandoned factory" assets and built a diner out of them (if you look closely you'll notice everything is wrong — the tables are workbenches, so too high to comfortably eat at, and the counter is too low, which is why the protagonists sit in those awkward positions — and those are just two examples), I added a couple of human characters, and made up something for them to do.From there some stories started taking shape in my head, enough to start thinking about making a series out of it, and what seemed like a one-off thing now feels like one of the most interesting projects I've ever come up with. We'll see if that's true. The only rule I gave myself: I want it to be weird, to look off, to reflect my personal pursuit of the "not beautiful." I know, not much of all this happens in this first episode — the main goal here was to see if I was capable of finishing one — but I promise you, as we go on, it'll get better. Then, obviously it's all weird — or maybe I should say New Weird? I'm a huge Jeff VanderMeer fan — so I imagine you have to be into the genre a bit, but either way I'm giving it everything I've got. I'm also leaving here a photo of my paper storyboard, even if you probably won't make much sense of it, I can barely make sense of it myself haha — initially I was planning to post it only as a reel on Instagram, which is why it's in vertical format.<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/580/iu_1580972_27864553.webp" width="540" height="759" alt="iu_1580972_27864553.webp" data-smart-scale="540,759">Thank you so much for your attention and see you next time! Introducing my solo game project, Misfit Company!

Hey everyone! I left Newgrounds a while ago to pursue some projects, and now I want to come back to start sharing my art and other projects! I am thrilled to finally share what I have been working on through a lot of late nights over the past year! Here is a teaser of my first solo indie game, "Misfit Company."Lead a squad of specialists deep behind enemy lines in a gritty, boots-on-the-ground struggle to dismantle the enemy's war machine from the inside out. You will face down engines of war on land and in the air, all in an effort to prevent the launch of a mechanical abomination that threatens to reshape the continent. The goal of this project is to combine the handcrafted frame-by-frame visuals of the most captivating aspects of today's animated films and television shows while giving the player a seamless action-packed narrative experience where every finisher and interaction feels like a scene from a top-tier animated series. Now that I am finally sharing this project, I want to give some context on how this project has progressed over the past year. I am currently working on this project as a solo developer, and everything you see in the screenshots and teaser was created entirely by me. It's been a ton of fun but a lot to manage while balancing a full-time job and children to raise. In the fall of 2024, I was laid off and was just coming off Halo Infinite, so I took some time to reset, and after a few weeks, I was interviewing with Riot and actually received an offer to join the team down in Sydney. I sadly didn't take the job at that time because I had the opportunity to work with a few past colleagues on some really cool stuff at Meta, and it allowed my kids to stay close to their relatives here in Canada. In November, I was watching Arcane, and I had an idea for a project that hit me like a freight train, and that would become this story of a band of Misfits. As I went into 2025, I already wrote out the foundation for the story and was starting to storyboard out every cinematic the game would require while scouring my film and game libraries for as much storytelling reference as possible. As the year progressed, I started working on the prototype, but also created a large library of concept art, 3D assets, and fully polished characters that would help establish the art direction. What has been really exciting is that I am producing everything on my own with a fresh mindset towards production compared to my AAA experience, and creating a purely handcrafted experience using my 10+ years of experience in games. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming! <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/4416330/Misfit_Company/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Steam page!</a><a href="https://youtu.be/cnaLuPI_7tc" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Teaser Trailer!</a>

Misfit Company

Animation of one of my protags, adapted from a little 20 panel comic in a notebook.

Post #54! Getting the hang of some animation. This is part of my worldbuilding project, adapted from a comic I drew in a notebook called "Mother Screwers".Name edited to be less edgy here. ("Slice of life" + "Screwers") I want to know if you hear a gender in that voice, or you feel it's wholly androgynous. The mothers in question are actually monsters, whose real form is an force of negativity hellbent on destroying universes. It saw a concept that has "propagation" in its nature, and merged with it to bolster itself. The more lifeforms they infect to be them, the faster they can take over universes. The worldbuilding project itself dates back to when I was 9 or 10. I was beefing with my mom in all my immaturity, so I did some worldbuilding where mothers were evil. These bits and pieces of worldbuilding carried over to a while ago, when I decided I wanted to take things to the next level because I thought it would be interesting... So here we are!But I harbor no hate towards IRL mothers. Explanation of some scenes: The fireball was launched into the deep hole, and the mother monster returned to its home realm through a hole it made. Voiced by a friend not on here, who wanted to have a try at voicing.Stitched from 5 separate .mp3s of almost the same names:<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/533/iu_1533279_22917277.webp" width="764" height="216" alt="iu_1533279_22917277.webp" data-smart-scale="764,216">

Just a concept idea for a mini game

An interactive stylized 3D animated comedy about a dysfunctional team of adventurers.

Hey everyone, I'm making this post because I'm really looking for some honest feedback from the Newgrounds community. To be completely open: I've submitted 3 animations here before. They all passed judgement (thanks for the votes!), but across all of them, I've received exactly one comment. It's been a bit disheartening working in a vacuum, so I'm hoping this time I can get some thoughts from you guys—whether it's critique on the pacing, the animation, or the concept itself. I just want to learn and improve. The Project: I've just finished the Season Finale of my solo indie series, "Heroic Quests". It's made entirely in Unreal Engine 5. For this episode, I tried something ambitious: an Interactive Adventure (similar to Bandersnatch or In Space with Markiplier), but with a chaotic DnD/RPG theme. The party faces a Troll, and YOU have to decide who takes the risk. There are multiple paths and endings depending on your choices. Technical / Audio Note: Since I'm a solo dev with zero budget, I used ElevenLabs AI for the voice acting. I know it's not the Newgrounds ideal (I love human VAs!), but it was the only way I could tell this story with my current resources. The script, animation, lighting, and editing are all 100% human effort by me. 🎙️ Call for Voice Actors (Collab / Unpaid): That being said, I really want to move away from AI for the next episode! I am actively looking for voice actors who would be interested in collaborating. Since this is a zero-budget passion project, I unfortunately cannot offer payment at this stage. However, if you are looking for high-quality visual material for your demo reel or just want to voice some chaotic fantasy characters for fun, I'd love to work with you! Please DM me or leave a comment if you're interested. Where to play: The video below is the Trailer/Intro. Because the interactivity relies on YouTube's End Screen linking system, the full playable experience is hosted there. 🔗 PLAY THE FULL ADVENTURE HERE: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJxXHH5tKOU" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJxXHH5tKOU</a> If you have a spare moment to try one path and let me know if the "game" mechanics feel fun or gimmicky, or if the comedy lands, I'd appreciate it more than you know. Thanks for keeping indie animation alive!

An animation of my bunny girl riding a slime

<img src="https://img.ngfiles.com/image-uploads/000/001/516/iu_1516635_10964891.webp" alt="iu_1516635_10964891.webp" data-smart-scale="764,758"> I have a small concept in my head and I will be working on getting it out of my system through animation. Here's a bigger blurb that wouldn't fit in that page I really need to come up with a better name than The Dungeon haha but it's whatever for now. Slimes are a common enemy in The Dungeon and can be found at any level of exploration, any biome although its appearance may differ depending on what it has consumed thus far. It is a creature that envelops itself in a gelatinous substance in order to protect its fragile core. Its only care in the world is to consume and grow in order to protect itself. More often than not a slime will remain at its primary stage as it cannot procure enough materials or minerals in a timely manner in order to evolve, but the ones that stumble upon differing types of lucky finds (forgotten storages, defeated adventurers that carry many different types of ingredients, treasure chests, etc) are able to use the excess minerals in order to create a new shape for themselves. The shape they evolve to be is not consistent and it depends on many factors such as what they’ve eaten, environmental traits and obstacles etc but they all consume in the same way as illustrated below. One consistent thing is the way that they consume. For example, a mace lodged in a slime from an adventurer that succumbed to the slime's attacks. The slime will use the next few days, sometimes weeks, to dissolve the mace in the weak acid found within the gelatine. The slime can speed up the process by moving its body and agitating the object to create more friction between it and its “flesh”, however this takes a tremendous amount of energy and most slimes prefer to go about their business, letting their protection take care of the process

The Dungeon - Slimes

A certain puffball stumbles upon a physics puzzle game with the birds and the pigs.

Original YouTube Upload: March 10, 2022 Imagine the little pink puffball ends up in one of the best-known physics puzzle games? Ya know, where the goal is to eliminate every pig on the level by slinging birds at the structures. The pigs may have an appetite for eggs, but Kirby's appetite is much bigger! I miss the good old days when Angry Birds was its own original concept. Don't you agree? An interesting fact, but more of a coincidence: before the video was uploaded to YouTube on that date, Rovio noticed it, which sparked an idea based on Kirby. So they created a new bird named Melody with abilities similar to Kirby's. Except that Melody can't do copy abilities.
