Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7 We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/ We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/ We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:

Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.

Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.

Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.

Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.

Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.

Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Conquer The Foe

In a world of mediocrity, Theo is a Rocket Friendz Battle Trainer with ONE goal: for he and his Rocket Friend Snout to BE THE BEST! He has been trying for 27 years! This is a spoof of Pokemon and the monster-fighting genre which also doubles as a look at how my generation is aging. My normal job is doing storyboards for children's TV animation and I made this completely independent film as a labor of love. Rocket Friendz has been featured in Silverlake Shorts, Dead Weird Film Fest, BUT Film Festival, Fantaspoa, HollyShorts Comedy Festival, Giggleshitz Film Fest, and more! instagram: @rocketfriendzemail: joshopus@gmail.com

An animated love letter to transforming super heroes.

This is my short-film titled, Frame Casters: Jet’s Memory. It is a snippet of a sequence from a 29 page screenplay I wrote for an animated project called Frame Casters. This is a project that I’ve been developing for years. It is a love letter to the japanese genre of transforming super heroes, and I intend to continue working to bring this project to fruition. I wanted to make this song cause I thought it'd be fun to compose a vocaloid song in this kind of genre. It kinda started with me listening to Bo Burnham and Tom Cardy, and wondered "Why isn't there a vocaloid song that's just like this?" and so I went with it! And also I wanted more songs with UTAU and SV dueting together since it's a pretty underrated pair. A short musical about a history fanatic and her theme park teaching the magic of community

Obsessed with the former Soviet Union, Victoria Genokov went to America and builds a "Soviet Park" as an attempt to recreate a forgotten world. Q&A What is the genre of this show? - Dark comedy, mystery, satire Does this show promote Communism? - No, not really. Although the premise of the park is to learn about the Soviet revolution, it's far from her actual way of doing things as she's also making money from the park, mostly leaning towards irony. Is Victoria Genokov Russian? - No, she's not. She's from Belarus but believes she's somehow related to Joseph Stalin. What's with the boots? - It's her choice of style, it also helps her remove leaves from the floor and eliminate cockroaches. Why the hat? - The park is soviet-themed, she wears a soviet-era hat to express it, not mainly because she's "Russian". Why did she shot the bird? - She thought it was a pigeon. Why she have sharp teeth, is she a strawberry vampire? - no, the sharp teeth matches her chaotic and wild personality. Why her eyes grey? Is she high? - No, I might still have to change that detail. Proof of concept for our upcoming series MOTHELL

The Mothell is always open.Come in. Sit down.Something will come along. Okay, let me try to explain a bit of the context, even though words aren't really my thing. The concept is very simple: we're in this surreal diner/motel floating in a space/non-space, where ambiguous characters come looking for... rest? Comfort? Who knows... And where things happen. In every episode a new character is added, and there will be no time ellipses — they'll all be consecutive. All episodes together, watched in a row, will form a single short/feature film, I imagine.Nothing earth-shattering in the traditional sense, but every episode is a metaphor for something — although I won't be the one to say which ones, I'd like everyone to see what they want in it.There's a lore behind it, and what happens happens for a reason, but again, I'd like you to discover it as you go through the series. I'd like to tell you how this idea was born, but I've spent the last two weeks working so intensely day and night on this project... so many ideas, so many changes of direction, additions, modifications, that I've forgotten what the initial spark was. I think that at some point I simply said to myself "Hey, let's try to produce something, doesn't matter what." And so I started putting together some of the low poly assets I've created over the last few years, without worrying too much about the story, just to see what happened. To have that feeling again from when I was a child and played with my toys, and it was enough to just spread them out in front of me on the floor, and suddenly they came to life and anything could happen. And, just like back then, everything happened. I took my "abandoned factory" assets and built a diner out of them (if you look closely you'll notice everything is wrong — the tables are workbenches, so too high to comfortably eat at, and the counter is too low, which is why the protagonists sit in those awkward positions — and those are just two examples), I added a couple of human characters, and made up something for them to do.From there some stories started taking shape in my head, enough to start thinking about making a series out of it, and what seemed like a one-off thing now feels like one of the most interesting projects I've ever come up with. We'll see if that's true. The only rule I gave myself: I want it to be weird, to look off, to reflect my personal pursuit of the "not beautiful." I know, not much of all this happens in this first episode — the main goal here was to see if I was capable of finishing one — but I promise you, as we go on, it'll get better. Then, obviously it's all weird — or maybe I should say New Weird? I'm a huge Jeff VanderMeer fan — so I imagine you have to be into the genre a bit, but either way I'm giving it everything I've got. I'm also leaving here a photo of my paper storyboard, even if you probably won't make much sense of it, I can barely make sense of it myself haha — initially I was planning to post it only as a reel on Instagram, which is why it's in vertical format.Thank you so much for your attention and see you next time! MOTHELL - Ep01

Hecho con stop motion a mano, ellis deberá enfrentar a unos de sus mayores miedos

If You want to support this animation go to My YouTube channel (cub0_cinic0) and watch it there... I really appreciate all the support the channel has received during this time despite the inactivity (remember I’m in university).I’ve always wanted to make a longer video that breaks away from the usual. Animating with Tricky started to feel boring and repetitive—that’s another reason I stopped using him. I enjoy doing stop motion, but not to the point of being stuck with just one character. And of course, I love L4D2—an amazing game full of life (and not just zombies), with a huge community, mostly from Peru (key country gaaaa).I wanted to make it a horror video, but you know me… I’m not exactly the type to take that genre seriously. There might be another L4D2 video like this coming soon—maybe focused on Azumanga, or even TF2 but with the Azumanga girls. I really liked the anime and I’d love to make an animation as a tribute.Tricky won’t be coming back for a while… only in shorts and stuff… try to understand… I also want to enjoy doing this…#l4d2 #left4dead2 #animation #shrekMusic used (most relevant):L4D2 – The Monsters WithinL4D2 – Save Me Some Sugar(I should’ve used more L4D2 tracks but I was lazy)Golgo 13 – Command G13 (Ellis vs Shrek battle)Rest in peace Mr. Saito, a great composer from his era :( And that’s it… leave your thoughts in the comments. This wasn’t easy to make, especially bringing you another detailed stop motion since Among Us. But I’m excited to see how the channel keeps growing…

[L4D2] ELLIS'S NIGHTMARE

As true fans of the romance genre, there's no doubt that this anime is very good. Not only that, visually it's very beautiful and its protagonists feel very real

Really #BADASS winscreen that isn't actually for a game

I am very much not good at animating, sorry if this sucks! I personally find the process of animating extremely annoying, so I end up not actually putting in the effort to get better at it.I don't know what genre to put this in, by the way. Tell me if I should move it to something else! Like how 1x1x1x1 was my first Returns model, this was my first winscreen. This is supposed to have music, but I don't want to get smited off the face of Newgrounds on my first day so it has been excluded. The music used was an abridged excerpt of Darkness Falls by zero-project; the same person who composed Gothic, a track that was very popular and commonly used in the early days of Roblox. (Both of these are insanely good btw, please listen to them I beg of you)More specifically, the parts of Darkness Falls used were 3:48-3:56, which then faded into 4:37. The ambient audio used at the end is the classic Roblox horror ambient. The UI elements are very obviously taken right from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with some very slight tweaks, with the transition animation being ripped straight from it. The loading wheel in the corner is also a recreation of the SSBU loading wheel without the Smash logo, and the text "THE WINNER IS..." directly quotes the announcer's words on winscreens from the pre-Ultimate era. The general vibe of the animation was inspired by Sephiroth's winscreens in SSBU, and 1x1x1x1 even does the same look back that Sephiroth does.(I tried to embed gifs here but they just didn't work so uhhh go look it up) The music chosen, Darkness Falls, was specifically chosen due to it being structured in a way I find similar to One-Winged Angel.Additionally, Darkness Falls is part of the same album that Gothic is, with Gothic having been associated with both horror and action games. Some people (including myself) even associate it directly with 1x1x1x1. The horror ambient playing at the end was also added as an homage to Sephiroth, with his winscreens in SSBU ending with a much more sinister droning note after his victory theme finishes, rather than the typical music that nearly every other character uses. That ambient was specifically chosen due to it also originating from horror games of old, which I found fit well with the character.

1x1x1x1 Winscreen

A sci fi workplace animation about a garbage processing plant

This is the opening scene to a comedy pilot script I wrote. I'll put a link to the script here eventually. While I do hope it's funny, one thing I can say with confidence is that this will be an instant classic addition to the "scifi mutant eats butthole" genre that everyone grew up with. Ideally I'll get more scenes out and we'll get to see Reuter give his boss a piece of his mind in the next one, and spoiler, someone else gets their butts eaten. Cinema. by the way the national animal of Scotland is a Unicorn. That's not in the show, but it is neat.________________________________________________________ audio attributions 1. Hosho‑kin‑no Adventure is a Flash‑style comic/animation series by me, vamp_sex24 on Newgrounds about badass shit like guns drugs and sex, your mom definitely doesn't want you watching this shit. But we all fucking hate our moms. the series follows a group of four boys on comedic, bounty‑hunting adventures expect a chaotic mash‑up of genres and creatures, in including zombies, talking animals, weird creations, and plenty more crazy shit. It’s like adventure time if it was made by a horny mentally insane goth loser. on the surface it looks like a fuck around series but in depth it actually has crazy lore in it's society, characters, and universe. But the guys don't get into any of that shit cuz the only thing they care about is getting their dicks wet and makin money. This is only the beginning so more about hosho-kin-no will be posted on the hosho-kin-no adventure encyclopedia soon and more related content will be posted on my newgrounds page. It is about human nature, war and never-ending conflict present in our day to day lives, highlighted through altered events of its original universe. In its core, however, wounds of the past remain to swell, infecting the island throughout. The infection of ideology and division, human greed and hunger for power, as well as pure hatred toward it all, boiling within the blood of the Island’s citizens. The government of Central Island – Hometown, and the rebels – Liberta Clan, now at constant war for who gets to enact and define the laws amidst desperate post apocalyptic times. A mostly faithful retelling of the story of Phi, the toxic slime (Phisnom's avatar.)

Life of Phi is an animated mostly faithful retelling and expansion of the story of Phi, the toxic slime who we know as the mascot of the streamer called Phisnom. Phi was originally designed by StupidButterfly. Phi was once a security guard working in a laboratory until "something happened in that laboratory that caused the entire personnel to be consumed by a weird substance." Being the sole survivor, Phi makes it their slow but sure life mission to see what else they can uncover about the Substance and if there's any way they can utilize it. This is the first part of what is to be developed into a full-length film, which will be released in about six parts as they are completed before its full release. I originally did this as a sort of "proof of concept" if you will, and now I am committed to it. I created the backgrounds, animation, sfx, soundtrack and voice acting, with the exception of some sfx being sampled from Phisnom's videos (i.e. the screaming.) Part One was originally released on August 25th, 2024 on YouTube. You can watch the original release over there too! OBVIOUS BUT OBLIGATORY DISCLAIMER: This is a fan work and is non-canonical. P.S. The genre is marked as drama because I find my work quite campy lol

Life of Phi (Part One)

ignore the genre being comedy, this is no laughing matter.

So this is just a Christmas version of the V-Tuber model I made for AngelicGamingVT

So this is the Christmas version of the V-Tuber model that I made for AngelicGamingVT (find them on Twitch). Which I kinda like how this one came out I guess. I even made a new toggle called "sticker mode" that I probably will do with all my models from now on. Though I don't think I have much to say other than that so I guess Merry Christmas even though it's more than a month away from posting this, lol. (Though it's actually possibly that I won't get paid for making this one, since they apparently don't have any money to do so (kinda wish I knew that before hand, lol), but oh well I guess, maybe in the future. Though I might have some new simple models to show off sooner than usual. So I guess look forward to those within a month or so. Also just btw, there isn't even like a quarter of the stuff I've posted over their years on here, and I don't plan on adding it all, only the new things from this point on when I'm down uploading the old stuff I want to post here. So if you want to see everything I have ever made, you're going to have to go to my Instagram, or Twitter, there might even be some REALLY old artwork if you look deep enough into my YouTube. Anyways a reminder, that I technically will do commissions for anything. 3D Art, 2D art. 3D Models, 3D Assets as well, and of course V-Tuber Models. So yeah just send me a message if you are interested in something. And also of course I work in any style, Realistic, Cartoon, Anime. Any genre. I'm not interested in being held down by any one style. "All styles are belong to me", lol. Anyways, if you read everything (even the self-promo underneath, lol) make sure to let me know in the comments below, or just say whatever you want. Though of course the likelihood of someone reading this is like .01%, lol. You can buy my stickers/ my Kyuutie Tactics Stickers/ donate to me from the links below, or go to my YouTube and become a Member as well. So this is just a Halloween Witch version of the V-Tuber model I made for AngelicGamingVT

So this is the Witching Hour version of the V-Tuber model that I made for AngelicGamingVT (find them on Twitch). Which this is kind of like your typical suggestive Halloween witch costume. Nothing too fancy here. Might add onto it later, but who knows. Not much to say other than that. Though of course this was made for October spooky season. Also just btw, there isn't even like a quarter of the stuff I've posted over their years on here, and I don't plan on adding it all, only the new things from this point on when I'm down uploading the old stuff I want to post here.
