Conquer the Foe To all those whose truth has been silenced or forgotten.— RKS _______FOREWORD:Conquer the Foe is Roadkill Studios first ever short film. It is a hand-drawn anti-incidentalist film which pays homage to classic point-and-click Flash game culture. The film began development in March 2025, and was composed, illustrated, edited, written, and published by one amateur artist. All music and artwork was created by me, although some characters and visual elements are deliberate homages to, adaptations of, or parodies of works that influenced the film. At the centre of the film is the film theory principle of anti-incidentalism. The notion that every visible character in a film must have a defined history and identity, irrespective of whether that history is immediately apparent to the viewer. The film is therefore intended to be experienced not merely as a graphic chase scene, but as insight into fragments of a larger world beyond what the viewer sees on screen. The need for a film like this is to fulfil the duty of laying the groundwork for a comprehensive anti-incidentalist narrative long term. In some respect, the "art" of anti-incidentalism is to attempt to prepare for questions that will be asked in the future. The film was created both as an exploration of this principle and as a personal homage to the visual and artistic style of 2010s Flash games. Conquer the Foe is the first major release under Roadkill Studios, and it represents the start of a wider body of work that the studio will continue to develop over time. _______ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:Hundreds of hours were dedicated to the completion of this short film. Although entirely created by one individual, we must thank the developers whose artistic influences enabled this film to be made in the first place. We thank Chriss Martin, Yan Lepage, Mario Boutin, Jo Fortier and Josee Godbout for Desolation: The Stages of Anxiety. Their work on this project is noted for the prominent grim-minimalist art style and inspiration for many character designs in the film. Stage 1 was constructed as a tribute to Desolation.Credit: <a href="https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/webcypher?page=7</a> We thank Hyptosis for The Sagittarian and for his excellent hand-drawn style, which inspired the horde/chase elements of the film and several character designs, particularly in Stage 2.Credit: <a href="https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/">https://hyptosis.newgrounds.com/</a> We thank Mateusz Skutnik for Submachine, and for over 20 years of consistent artistic output and contribution to the point-and-click genre, the influence of which cannot go unnoticed for this film.Credit: <a href="https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://www.mateuszskutnik.com/</a> We thank Patrick Majewski for Monster Basement and its sequel. These games established an artistic vision that largely inspired Stage 2. We also thank Patrick Majewski for permission to include The Mud Vile from Monster Basement as part of this film.Credit: <a href="https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/">https://godlimations.newgrounds.com/</a> We thank Igor Stravinsky for The Rite of Spring. A composition that completely redefined modern music and paved the way for many of the film soundtracks released in the last century. From the creator:To my mentors from the conservatory — whose names have been omitted for privacy — I thank you for your knowledge and expertise in which you shared with great generosity. The role of mentor should not be undervalued, for the role they play in forming a trainee's professional (and sometimes personal) life can be profound. Their contributions both directly and indirectly have helped shape the vision of this film and will define all future Roadkill Studios productions. I remain indebted to them for their dedication, patience, and time they commit to providing guidance and mentorship. _______Stage Descriptions:<ul><li>Prelude - The point in time before any disturbance. The prelude is the calm before the storm.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 1 - The first stage is the experience of a sudden distressing event; this stage is the realisation that something has gone horribly wrong as panic sets in.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 2 - This is the stage where panic is quickly replaced by a state of blunt, numbing dissociation.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 3 - Stage three is where the density of consciousness reaches its breaking point. Sanity is erased following a flash of light, and the incomprehensible suddenly becomes known.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stage 4 - Consciousness returns hours later; the embers of the previous stages continue to burn as comprehension slowly reconsolidates. Episodes of delirium continue, with flashes of mnemonic rupture followed by further disorientation. The acute event is over but effects fluctuate over several hours.</li></ul> Support Roadkill Studios on Ko-Fi: <a href="https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://ko-fi.com/roadkillstudiosofficial</a> NOTICE: This film contains disturbing, graphic, and mature material. Unraveling

This was without a doubt the craziest thing I've ever done in my life lol. This animation is a sequel to "Shonenfication 1," which I made for the previous Madness Day.Last year, I only had a month to prepare.I was really happy with the result, but I never imagined I'd get so much supportespecially after seeing Krinkels watch my animation on a livestream.I felt compelled to outdo myself this year. So, I decided to give myself three months of prep time to really polish it this time around. You have no idea how much work went into this lol.It was three long months of non-stop work on this projectcountless sleepless nights to achieve this result. I know there are people who prepare for much longer and create much longer animations. I know it's not perfect; the animation has some issues with audio direction and music syncing Still, pulling this off entirely on my own at this level of quality was a hell of a lot of work, but every second was worth it. Words can't describe how grateful I am for this event. I might not have a huge following here on NG, but Shonenfication gave me a massive boost on other social media platforms. Thanks for watchingI gave it my all. I hope you enjoyed it, and I'll see you at Madness Day 27 ;) Youtube: PiuyNGTikTok: piuy0111Insta: piuyng Madness Combat by: Matt Jolly "Krinkels" /// Isso sem dúvida alguma foi a maior loucura que eu já fiz na minha vida até agora kkkk Essa animação é uma continuação do "Shonenfication 1" que eu fiz no Madness day anteriorAno passado eu tive apenas um mês de preparo. Day 27 ;) Youtube: PiuyNGTikTok: piuy0111Insta: piuyng Madness Combat by: Matt Jolly "Krinkels"

In the bustling present day of December 2026, Chris Chan was living his best life in the spotlight. His hit 90s-style sitcom, "Chris Chan: Electric Dreams", penned by the legendary Chuck Lorre of Mike &amp; Molly fame, was topping the charts. Better than any throwback show, it turned Chris's quirky world into laugh-out-loud gold: episodes full of Sonichu zapping trolls, awkward dates, and family moments that hit right in teh feels. Fame had finally arrived. Billboards, fan meetups, custom merch. He even won a snap election to become mayor of Ruckersville, Virginia in a landslide! His first executive order was to rename the town CWCville for real, obviously. Chris was on top of the world! As a kid, Chris had a rough start. His dang ol' dad, Bob, was a gruff handyman type, always tinkering and dropping wisdom like, "Life's full of splinters, son...watch where you step." And his mom, Barbara? To Chris, she was the most beautiful, stunning, gorgeous woman alive, an angel in human form who sewed his favorite shirts and cheered his wild ideas. Through bullies, Sega ruining the color of Sonics arms, and so, so, so many girls who were NOT boyfriend free, his parents guided him toward this moment of triumph. But one ordinary afternoon at the local Starbees, everything shifted. Sipping a Dubai Chocolate Bar Matcha Latte (Available at select Starbucks near you!), Chris spotted a familiar crew of dirty trolls in the corner: the OneyPlays gang. Cory Spazkid doodling hot ladies on a heavily used napkin, Chris (Not Chris Chan. A different Chris with an epic Youtube channel) cracking up, Lyle rizzing up some baddies, and Tomar casually munching on a delicious tree star as always, green and crunchy. "OMG, it's Chris Chan" Cory whispered. They waved him over awkwardly. Chris beamed, spilling latte while attempting to wave back. His Iconic Red stripped shirt was covered in the sticky goodness. This was it. His lowest moment. Then, his phone buzzed: breaking news. Electric Dreams canceled. Ratings crashed, critics slammed it as "too much," Chuck Lorre publicly un-alived. Fans flipped to a better show like Smiling Friends overnight. Chris froze, medallion dropping into the puddle of coffee. The cafe fell somber, fame evaporating like steam from a forgotten cup. Back home in his cluttered room, surrounded by faded dreams, Chris crumbled. Dad long gone, Mom too frail, loneliness hit hard. But a soft zap glowed from his medallion. Sonichu appeared, holographic and loyal. "C'mon buddy, let's run away to some other dimension, together." Chris hugged his old friend tight, tears falling. Fame's peak had led to the deepest valley, but in the quiet tragedy, that spark of imagination endured. The end. After dying, a cat must get used to the peculiarities of existing without a body.

The Amazing Story of the Phantom Cat is an animated short that I wrote, animated, and scored between December 2022 and April 2023. It was my first experience making a 2D animated short, so it was a cascade of challenges that turned into countless learning experiences.I made the animation using Krita. Hours and hours of drawing, erasing, and drawing all over again. I had already composed the music long before, but I arranged it specifically for this short, trying to understand the logic of timing and repetition in animation, using LMMS.I was lucky enough to have some great ghostly friends—José Haidar, Marcelo Cáceres, Agustina Conti, and Daniela Barrionuevo—lend their voices to the narration and characters.I hope you enjoy The Amazing Story of the Phantom Cat! Beyond the joy of bringing this project to life, this short film allowed me to connect with incredible people from the world of animation, mainly through its participation in film festivals. In October 2023, The Amazing Story of the Phantom Cat was screened at FAN – Festival Audiovisual de Neuquén (Argentina), as part of the Official Selection of National Animated Shorts. In December 2023, it was also part of the Official Selection of Animated Shorts at AnimaVerso Festival, held in Florianópolis (Brazil). In January 2024, it was screened in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia) as part of EDO 2024, and in May of the same year, it was screened at Anima Latina in Buenos Aires, Argentina.I never imagined the cat would get to visit so many places. [TRAILER] CS2 Cologne Major 2026 WATCHPARTY

Phi continues studying the Substance, but she is not alone anymore.

Life of Phi is an animated mostly faithful retelling and expansion of the original story of Phi, the toxic slime formerly known as the mascot of Phisnom's channel. Phi continues studying the Substance, but she is not alone anymore. <a href="https://youtu.be/1yy9gsRpaXI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WATCH WITH SUBTITLES ON YOUTUBE</a>Listen to the soundtrack for this part on <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1603380">Newgrounds</a> and <a href="https://youtu.be/85vK8F4FJVE" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YouTube</a> WATCH PART ONE: <a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/965552">Newgrounds</a><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD6IFY4gOLs%5C" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YouTube</a> CREDITS VOICE CASTPhi, Beacon, Toxic, Hiro &amp; Bucket - Techno DragonEcho - PennedKernel CHARACTER DESIGNStupidButterfly (Phi)Techno Dragon (Echo, Beacon &amp; Rufus)MG/Muerte_Gamer03 (Hiro)thistleswhistle (Toxic)sodalighter (Mellow)BoonBoon (Bloonie)SleepyKrakenz (Neil)Azazel/TinyPacky (Bucket) BACKGROUND SLIME PATTERN DESIGNS.D./Safe.DataqewTeaMediocreDracoRia BASED ON THE WORK OFPhisnom SPECIAL THANKSPennedKernel - Behind the scenes support and assistance SOFTWARES USEDVisuals - IbisPaint and Photoshop Elements 10Editing &amp; Effects - DaVinci ResolveAudio &amp; Mixing - ReaperSoundtrack - Dorico 5 and Reaper All sound effects (minus the walkie-talkie beep, which was a sample) were recorded by myself. ADDITIONAL COMMENTARY This part took two years to make. After I made Part One, I had begun making the switch from Photoshop to IbisPaint for animation, which is much faster and more efficient. I had also taken a break to make the music video Call Me Fancy, which also saw the switch in software. On top of that, I was also having a difficult time getting the story down, especially with major changes to Phi and Bucket's backstories coming from their respective creators. I had to take the time to consider if the story of Life of Phi would benefit from acknowledging these changes or not. Mostly I decided to go my own way with this story. Phi's retirement as Phisnom's mascot does not spell the end for this series. Now that I have access to better tools than last time, Part Three should come out sooner than two years hopefully. Despite all of the speed bumps, I was still supported by the community, and I made sure that I shared a good amount of sneak peeks and updates on its progress. Thank you all for your support!

Thrill-seekers are executing crimes across the city. Can Devin & Max stop them?

Omega: Episode 4 A former rival of Devin from his powerball days is involved with a notorious crime syndicate: The Triune. Officer Max Spencer, offers Devin a position on his metahuman task force. ------------------------------------------------------------------Episode 4! And we're back...8 years later! Starting development back in the Summer of 2018, I wanted a huge episode to showcase all aspects of the series. I didn't fully comprehend how big of a task that would be. Single scenes have more frames than entire previous episodes and we've finally clocked in at 30 minutes long! All animated by one person. So many life events happened in-between creating this. It's been a journey. Sound design has always been a major blind spot with the series so I wanted to spare no expense. Kyle Bird came on board pretty early in development to make it happen. Hope this was worth the wait, enjoy! ******Let me know what you think below! Constructive criticism is always welcomed!******* Special Thanks to: Terrance (KingCrowleyVA), Dashawn, and SailorSilverStar for your incredible work! Tactical F*ck With Major Motoko Kusanagi

Hello everyone! ❤️This update brings one of the biggest gameplay additions in a while, along with a lot of optimization and visual improvements. The main highlight is a brand-new story route featuring Mary and Oliver! This update introduces new interactive scenes and, more importantly, the foundation for paired character animations. While the current animations are only the beginning and will continue to be refined (just like Lexa &amp; Jira's scenes), the core system is now fully functional and opens up many exciting possibilities for future content.Another major addition is the new Level of Detail (LOD) system for characters. Thanks to this, the game can now handle significantly more characters on screen at once, making crowded locations like the hotel feel much more alive while maintaining good performance.I also added new hairstyles for Emely and Lexa to give them a fresh look.On the technical side, I continued improving the bed deformation system. Beds now compress much more smoothly and naturally, making interactions look even better. I also optimized both Lexa's room and the player's room to improve overall performance. As always, thank you so much for supporting the project! Your support allows me to keep expanding the game with new characters, stories, and features. ❤️ P.S I'm really tired and have done a lot, so I didn't have time to announce the next character, but I'll start working on that tomorrow. I think you'll really like the next update, but I might spoil it a bit: it's a themed, seasonal update.Update build info:<ul><li>Added a new story route featuring Mary and Oliver</li><li>Added new interactive story scenes</li><li>Added the paired animation system</li><li>Added a Level of Detail (LOD) system for characters</li><li>Added a new hairstyle for Emely</li><li>Added a new hairstyle for Lexa</li><li>Fixed the sound of the bear hitting with a slapper</li><li>Improved and optimized bed deformation</li><li>Beds now compress much more smoothly</li><li>Optimized Lexa's room</li><li>Optimized the player's room</li><li>The skinning for Azura's kimono has been corrected</li><li>Oliver and Mary's genitals interact with toys again</li><li>The player's room number is again displayed in front of the door</li><li>The cheese plate is now activated by the storyline.</li><li>The distance has been corrected, the LODs are now enabled further</li><li>Oliver's anus has been corrected</li><li>Mary's dress has been corrected</li><li>Mary's panties have been corrected</li><li>Added more light to Mary's room</li><li>Lowered the collider in Mary's room</li><li>The building "Listen to Mary" is now removed from the journal after completion</li></ul> <a href="https://www.patreon.com/elera" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patreon</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/ewoera" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Twitter</a> <a href="https://discord.gg/Mkj8sFw" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Discord</a>Music licensed via Wondershare Filmora

Things Are Heating Up...

Here's another segment of my project. This part was created between 2022 and 2023, and I'm only publishing it now. Calis is the story's main villain. He's is about to invade the protagonist's new home and will arrive the following day, which happens to be a major festival in the town. The sound effects I used are completely royalty-free. Hope you like it!

sorry yet again for not posting for a while x_xThis is a remake/remaster of my previous work involving Gertrude Lawson and my final major project for college, it serves as a trailer for a hypothetical RPG that I wish to make in the future, but for now concept art and this trailer is all I have. hoping to one day be able to post more :D the music was edited together by one of my friendssss (thank you btwww)the music in question is as listed below:<a href="https://youtu.be/BNSllfaUkvA?si=3kTtA8AAfsYXK02y" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://youtu.be/BNSllfaUkvA?si=3kTtA8AAfsYXK02y</a><a href="https://youtu.be/ksnCQEDW5BQ?si=4BG-3X-S8BCVqL3I" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://youtu.be/ksnCQEDW5BQ?si=4BG-3X-S8BCVqL3I</a><a href="https://youtu.be/2-ok_i3W3Zg?si=fBE7EFLEXKwRXhqe" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://youtu.be/2-ok_i3W3Zg?si=fBE7EFLEXKwRXhqe</a>

Maternity Leave animation

Faux, a long dead Spirit of Vengeance released from Hell and sworn to murder all the Wetigo-infested Aristocrats in the Multiverse. Yet she shows some remaining humanity when she rescues a girl. This animation was first completed in 2017. It showed all the flaws in timing and technique of someone desperate to tell a story, but only learning the software as he went along, with no budget and therefore restricted to free software only. The biggest flaw was that the music was Bear McCreary's cover of "All Along The Watchtower" by Jimmi Hendrix. I soon learned that was impolite, and took it down. Only now have I had the resources to fix some of the major flaws and add a vivid movie background generated with the aid of SUNO.

I’m sorry this took way longer than expected. People always assume that this channel is run by multiple people, but no, I am a one-man show. I was getting major burnout. Animating these scenes dragged so much these past few months. But I refuse to scrap projects that i’m dedicated to and I’ll always deliver, hopefully in a better, timely manner next time.At one point towards the end when animating the post-credit scene with Christopher and Glep, the file got corrupted and I lost a LOT of animation work. Feline Doens is a 2026 animated drama film released and distributed by Pizza Dom Studios, and produced by Harris Productions. The film was directed by Dominic Harris, and stars Jerry S. Baitshop, LilyRosey234, Owen Sipes, and Magic Mirror's Wonder (in his major film debut). The film was officially released on May 5, 2026. PlotThe film is about Frankie (Jerry S. Baitshop), Mabel (LilyRosey234), and Chester (Owen Sipes) having plans to escape the pet store after they discover a secret of the pet store. Before you watch this, reception is mixed of the movie, so it's not as good as Furball: The Movie. Also, I didn't like the movie and here's reasons. 1.) I did not had a fun time making it and it felt rush...2.) I was getting overworked with the film...3.) I didn't like Mabel.Because she is quite bossy.4.) I felt like it was not going to be a success due to no trailers made for it.5.) It's because of the idea. I didn't love the idea like what? But yes, I want it to be like The Plague Dogs, but this is not right.

An abstract short film about gender dysphoria

This is the short film I made for my final major project in college. I am super proud of it, and I thought I'd put it on here It's a film about a trans woman experiencing dysphoria-induced distortions when looking at herself in the mirror, all culminating in a breakdown. Maria's Misery

A street performer wanting to become a royal jester.

This is an animated short film i spent months working on as part of a College final major project. Plot:A long time ago, in the kingdom of WorkinDale, a young street performer named "Tanoshi" hears word of an open try out audition set up by the ruler of WorkinDale "King Hartforaleg" as a way for him to find a new royal jester in his castle. Because it was! Apologies this took too long to come out, I got hit with a wave of schoolwork and I had to do some major projects (<a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/midgetsausage/cooper-bullet-file-2-targets-i">here</a>) and (<a href="https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1025974">here</a>). But hey, the collab is finally here. It's hip, it's now, it's wow and how!
