Set in a surreal America where religion, government, and capitalism have become one.

Set in a surreal America where religion, government, and capitalism have become one. This series follows a group of washed-up Christian child stars as they navigate dead-end adulthood, addiction and trauma in the very system that once made them famous. The Produce Pals were once the faces of Christian children's entertainment. Starting as a humble church choir known as The Holy Trinity. Andy Apple, Benjie Banana, and Oliver Orange became overnight sensations. A record label later expanded the trio by adding the Cherry twins and Chris Carrot, transforming them into the iconic six-member cast remembered by generations of children. For years they toured the country, starred in television specials, sold albums, and became symbols of wholesome family values. Then the cameras stopped rolling. Now, twenty to thirty years later, the former stars have become dysfunctional adults sharing a trailer in a forgotten desert town whose culture is built around an extreme interpretation of Christianity. While the world has moved on, the roommates remain trapped by their past fame, fractured beliefs, and inability to adapt to ordinary life. Every episode follows an everyday problem that spirals into absurdity as each character's flaws collide, exposing the lingering effects of celebrity, religious dogma, and growing older without ever really growing up.

A chaotic TV crew keeps the broadcast going, but the real chaos is the cast.

Following the chaotic crew of a surreal TV station with a nonstop broadcast schedule, it's obvious that the gig is less about the grueling demands of the seemingly eternal job and more about the strangeness of the employees themselves. Of course, that isn't going to stop the goofy and wildly inept camera-head Momo from shining! Just another day in life for a EPIC prankfluencer!

G-Cool Break Da Rool is a surreal dark comedy about the moment when the joke stops being funny, and self-doubt starts talking back. The film follows an online prankster who has pushed things too far and is forced to confront whether the attention he has built his identity around is worth the cost.I wanted to explore the strange inner argument we have when we know we might be making the wrong choice, but keep performing anyway. Through animation, comedy, and absurdity, G-Cool turns that internal conflict into something loud, weird, and visual

I made this as a little surreal love letter to FunnyLuigiMan's (sadly unfinished but awesome) movie, The Unthinkable Escape. also if you're wondering where that "Nobody Cares For Me!" song is from (the song that freddy sings), it comes from a singing plant halloween toy that I got at an ASDA (not too far away from me, actually) a few years ago.... and if you are also wondering why the audio in this is a bit loud and shitty, it's because I decided to go back on using CamStudio (which is, btw, included in this "3dmmCapture" thing) because OBS just bugs out on after I record stuff and Debut.. free versions of that program are just trials, FUCK DEBUT! so I decided to go back with the Cam (and yes, I (still) know how to record from the speakers besides the non-functioning "Record audio from speakers" button after Gregory's Roadkill... not gonna tell you the method, I wannakeep it a little secret for now)‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ .vmmYouTube

Animation reel I did on a Godspell documentary

Last year I had the pleasure of animating on the documentary "You Had To Be There" (believe it or not that's the shortened title) directed by Nick Davis, about the 1972 Canadian musical presentation of Godspell played by little known actors like Martin Short, Gilda Radner, Eugene Levy, etc! The musical wasn't filmed, but audio exists, and the animation fills out what was missing in an often surreal style. The animation director want it to look like it was made in the 70's to reflect the time period. Here are a few sequences I did, and there's more to come. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Had_to_Be_There_(film) The documentary right now is in the festival circuit. Proof of concept for our upcoming series MOTHELL

The Mothell is always open.Come in. Sit down.Something will come along. Okay, let me try to explain a bit of the context, even though words aren't really my thing. The concept is very simple: we're in this surreal diner/motel floating in a space/non-space, where ambiguous characters come looking for... rest? Comfort? Who knows... And where things happen. In every episode a new character is added, and there will be no time ellipses — they'll all be consecutive. All episodes together, watched in a row, will form a single short/feature film, I imagine.Nothing earth-shattering in the traditional sense, but every episode is a metaphor for something — although I won't be the one to say which ones, I'd like everyone to see what they want in it.There's a lore behind it, and what happens happens for a reason, but again, I'd like you to discover it as you go through the series. I'd like to tell you how this idea was born, but I've spent the last two weeks working so intensely day and night on this project... so many ideas, so many changes of direction, additions, modifications, that I've forgotten what the initial spark was. I think that at some point I simply said to myself "Hey, let's try to produce something, doesn't matter what." And so I started putting together some of the low poly assets I've created over the last few years, without worrying too much about the story, just to see what happened. To have that feeling again from when I was a child and played with my toys, and it was enough to just spread them out in front of me on the floor, and suddenly they came to life and anything could happen. And, just like back then, everything happened. I took my "abandoned factory" assets and built a diner out of them (if you look closely you'll notice everything is wrong — the tables are workbenches, so too high to comfortably eat at, and the counter is too low, which is why the protagonists sit in those awkward positions — and those are just two examples), I added a couple of human characters, and made up something for them to do.From there some stories started taking shape in my head, enough to start thinking about making a series out of it, and what seemed like a one-off thing now feels like one of the most interesting projects I've ever come up with. We'll see if that's true. The only rule I gave myself: I want it to be weird, to look off, to reflect my personal pursuit of the "not beautiful." I know, not much of all this happens in this first episode — the main goal here was to see if I was capable of finishing one — but I promise you, as we go on, it'll get better. Then, obviously it's all weird — or maybe I should say New Weird? I'm a huge Jeff VanderMeer fan — so I imagine you have to be into the genre a bit, but either way I'm giving it everything I've got. I'm also leaving here a photo of my paper storyboard, even if you probably won't make much sense of it, I can barely make sense of it myself haha — initially I was planning to post it only as a reel on Instagram, which is why it's in vertical format.Thank you so much for your attention and see you next time! Antisocial is a handcrafted stop-motion animated music video created over seven years.

ANTISOCIAL is a fully handmade, non-commercial stop-motion short film and animated music video created in Gera, Thuringia, Germany. Created by Studio RE-ANIMA-TRO for the German death-metal-punk band Pedagogic Torment. The entire project was produced independently by one person over the course of seven years — from designing and building puppets and miniature sets to frame-by-frame animation, photography and final post-production. No studio system. No external funding. No shortcuts. More than 6,000 individual frames were created using traditional stop-motion techniques, handcrafted puppets, practical effects and physical materials. There is no spoken dialogue and no subtitles. The film relies purely on visual storytelling, movement and music. Rough textures, handmade surfaces and visible imperfections are intentional and part of the artistic language of the film. ANTISOCIAL explores themes of isolation, resistance and absurd inner conflict through a surreal and darkly humorous story. Instead of explaining everything, the film focuses on atmosphere, movement and interpretation. The soundtrack was written and performed by Pedagogic Torment and acts as the backbone of the project — somewhere between an animated music video and a narrative short film. Since 2024, ANTISOCIAL has been screened internationally at 100+ film festivals across 32 countries and six continents, receiving 29 awards and distinctions. Selected recognition includes:- Winner – Best Story (FEEDBACK Animation Film & Screenplay Festival, USA)- Winner – Best Animated Short Film (FECIS – Salto Independent Film Festival, Uruguay)- Winner – Best Music Video (Mannheim Arts and Film Festival, Germany)- Winner – Best Stop Motion Animation (UK Film Awards)- Winner – Best Animated Film (Global INDIE Filmmaker Awards, United Kingdom)- Winner – Best International Music Video (Zepstone International Film & Music Festival, USA) This project exists because stop-motion is slow, physical and handmade — and because some stories only work when they are built one frame at a time. Exploring 4 emblematic paintings from belgium artist, Rene Magritte

Explorations is a collection of 4 emblematic works of Rene Magritte, recreated with current technology and the power of 3D modeling and animation. Starting with

Sheherazade, Rene Magritte (1947)

'Sheherezade is the name given to the pearl-woman object in memory of The Thousand and One Nights' (Magritte, quoted in D. Sylvester & S. Whitfield, René Magritte, Catalogue raisonné, vol. II, Oil paintings and objects, 1931-1948, Antwerp, 1993, p. 387). Shéhérazade appears to have been painted in May 1947 and is considered to be one of the earliest pictures to feature one of René Magritte's iconic motifs, the pearl woman. This picture shows the woman, whose mouth and eyes are shown as islands of flesh surrounded by a mysterious framework of strings of pearls, against a backdrop of a sky hewn out of monumental arches of blue. Next to her on the tabletop are two tall pyramids, a glass of water and a thick, claret-coloured curtain. This manages both to invoke the tradition of the Old Masters of Magritte's native Belgium and also to create an intimacy, a domesticity, a normality, lulling the viewer into a false sense of security that is prised apart by the mirage-like vision of the woman who so bracingly stares out from the canvas like some Orientalist incarnation of the Cheshire Cat. She is some form of apparition, perhaps conjured by the rituals of which the pyramids and water may be the paraphernalia. At the same time, she is the alluring and ornate hostess introducing the viewer to a world that has been rearranged in order to reveal its infinite wonder.

The Liberator, Rene Magritte (1947)

'The Liberator' presents a mysterious scene likely intended to provoke thought and curiosity. It depicts a figure seated against a surreal backdrop of floating architectural structures, with soft clouds embedded within. The figure, shrouded in a red cloak and adorned with a straw hat, lacks a discernible face; instead, there are symbolic images such as a key, a wine glass, a bird, and a pipe on a blank canvas where the torso should be. The enigmatic character holds a peculiar wand-like object topped with a bouquet of facial features and eyes. The figure’s attire and the walking stick it holds suggest a sense of journey or pilgrimage, while the suitcase placed by its side further emphasizes this theme. The overall composition resonates with Magritte’s distinctive style, blending reality with dreamlike elements to challenge perceptions and evoke deeper interpretations.

The Rights of Man, Rene Magritte (1947)

In 1948, while musing on the purpose of the titles he assigned to his paintings, René Magritte proclaimed: “I think the best title for a picture is a poetic one. In other words, a title consistent with the more or less lively emotion we feel when we look at the picture”. Across a series of handwritten manuscripts—now preserved in the Archives of Contemporary Art in Belgium and collectively known as “On Titles”— the artist offered a collection of short statements on some of his recent work. Among these brief notes, Magritte wrote about Les droits de l’homme: "Here, man is reminded of his right to act on objects and change the world"

The Annuntiation, Rene Magritte (1930)

The Annunciation brings together many of the themes, both iconographic and philosophical, that engaged Magritte during his stay in Paris from 1927 to 1930, a period in which he was closely associated with the French Surrealists. The painting shows an unlikely combination of objects. Two large bilboquets (Magritte's term for the objects in his works, which, though imaginary, recall wooden balustrades or chess-pieces) stand next to an oddly shaped piece of paper with a decorative cut-out pattern. Behind them looms a grey metal 'curtain', hung with sleigh bells. Despite its incongruity, this collection of objects seems disconcertingly 'at home' in the rock-strewn landscape beneath the grey clouds in the blue sky. The size of the painting (it is one of the largest the artist ever executed), together with its traditional composition and subtle allusions to paintings of Old Master like Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, and Caravaggio, are signs of the ambitiousness of the work.

Red Reverend - Night at Tazerama

Experimental surreal eye- short This animation has loosely been in the works for nearly 4 years. Largely on the back burner, to pick up between other projects. In late 2022 I came up with the concept, and in 2023 did some rough draft key frame story boards. Then for practice did a 5-10 frame animated blink to get a feel for frame rate. This year was progressively working on this version. For only being 20 seconds long, it to an insane amount of time and effort. Felt like I was going mad drawing the same patch of grey 100 times, then starting back for another patch. At the start of the year I worked on the black and the eye color. The rest rest has been sculpting the face with grey. Ending with an attempt at making background music last weekend. There’s still some things that bother me, but those skills will grow with more practice I think.I’m very happy to be finishing in October- best month.Big thanks to hazyjai, for support and encouragement through the whole process.inspiration:I used to really like the art on tool album covers as a kid, the concept was vaguely inspired by Ænima. Lava lamps, inspired the movement. hiccups:about halfway through this year, my animation file got corrupted. I definitely panicked, but thankfully there was a way to recover some of it. Maybe missing the most recent few days of work, but not all lost. Both a relief and a bit discouraging in one. Definitely switching to a real animation software for the next one. Too many limitations and I don’t want to risk that happening again. When I finally felt ready to upload, ran into issues too. Some stretching and distortion. The video is smaller now, but I believe that’s fixed. I've wanted to animate for a very long time. I’m happy to finally be taking those steps.
