I think it would be nice if the Street Fighter team further embraced the cultural aesthetic in a full fledged story mode, idk it's all hypotheticals and I'm just putting my feelings on paper

it's actually funny the fact that it's an early birthday post of mine

everyone, say welcome to the 2 "new" characters that're gonna be in the future episodes of Mythixical:

Carrie (she/they/ae)

Melchor (He/xe/it)

They actually ain't new,I created Melchor last year as he was originally gonna be an "evil" version of me, but I decided to turn him into just a character with different purposes. Xir outfit in the vid ain't final tho, I think I gotta take inspiration from the outfits in the new Tomodachi Life game so I can see what fits xir personality moreCarrie on the other hand's actually a classic OC of mine that I made back in 2020, ik none of y'all know this but yeh. Also Carrie themself got a couple redesigns too to fit aer aesthetic even more (she's a goth) rip wifiskeleton

After having his ship sink, RadioTube returns to Clocktopia to find it's creator.

Happy Clock Day! I wanted to use the noir setting again and I think this turned out well! I wanted to have a little more continuity between my movies so this acts as a sequel to 'OTB - Littorally the Worst' and a spiritual sequel to 'The Return'. I figure the setting is fitting as I loosely associate it with my early days in the Clock Crew. I first found the CC while I was in college in a much more urban environment than where I have lived both before and after. Likewise, I was into a number of games and shows at the time that had a similar vibe/aesthetic, such as Halo 3: ODST and The Big O. At any rate, it makes for a nice change of setting.

Butterfly - Planetronika tits out.. suck..?

So here it is. After months of work, I've managed to re-animate an ENTIRE episode of Tom and Jerry with Deltarune characters. This is based on my favorite T&J episode, "Heavenly Puss". After making Tennis Chumps last year, I dove straight into making this, and I'm happy to see it finally finished. Massive thanks to NayumiDayo for recreating the entire soundtrack in chiptune form. Really fits the Crustfuck aesthetic of the animation. (Seriously, they've cooked so hard.) Making this animation has been seriously tough so hope you enjoy it. I do hope to make more stuff like this in the future, but uh, considering my finances, that might need to take a backseat for a bit. EDIT: The "My finances are ruined" thing is not a joke, and I'm actually kinda fucked right now. What didn't help was the video was copyrighted on Youtube, so the video kinda flopped. I'm in a situation where I have no choice but to ask for help. If you liked the video, consider supporting me on Ko-Fi. You can also get a commission off of me on Ko-Fi too. I HATE that I have to resort to this, but my back is genuinely against the wall, and I need all the help I can get. -ImaSiphy

Music video for my recent release, "Forgotten Island"!

I realized that I can actually post my music videos here on Newgrounds, as well as on my YouTube channel! If it means that just a few more people might see it, it's worth trying ;) Some lore about my recent track, Forgotten Island: Last year, my grandfather invited me to remake/remix one of his old, never officially-released tracks – and of course, I couldn't say no to that :) He sent me a track called Zapomenutý ostrov (Forgotten Island in Czech), originally created way back in 1986. I was immediately inspired to turn it into a modern, synthwave-ish aesthetic while still honoring its original vibe. It wasn't an easy task, but I poured a lot of love into it and I hope you'll enjoy it. This video was made in Blender; however, I tried to work with EEVEE for the first time, which allowed me to create more scenes while keeping the render times down. Then I finished it in After Effects.

If you like my work, definitely check out some of my other stuff!

Stream the track here: https://tr.ee/S1nsIFN2Y_

ISRC: CZYSY2600001

A cool animation I decided to make using more scrapped models from Foodfight!

I decided to do another short similar to my previous one, SUGI, for this year's Newgrounds Low Poly Day. I mentioned in the description of SUGI that I used 3D models that a friend of mine, Ziggy Cashmere, recovered from the original production of the infamously terrible animated film, Foodfight!, which he made a YouTube documentary about the insane production of. However, I never could've guessed that more models would be recovered since. Long story short, he found even more background character models, almost 100 of them, as well as some environment models from a cancelled video game adaptation of Foodfight! I had been playing around with those models for several months, but I decided to lock in and make something quick with them for this year's Low Poly Day. I spent some time fixing an environment model of Chinatown from a flying level in the cancelled game, which involved meticulously going through an old folder of textures and reapplying each of them to the correct faces of the model. Then I took two of the recently found character models, Alyssa and Gutter Girl, and made a quick mocap animation of them skating through the environment since they both had skateboards with their model. I'm admittedly more proud of the work I did restoring the Chinatown city then I am with the character animation, but I think it was worth making something quick just to show it off to the world. Also I have to give another special shoutout to Jiji, a friend of a friend, who gave me permission to use another one of his tracks, "Olliewood", as the soundtrack for this animation. His great Y2K techno beats really add to the vibe of the low-poly aesthetic I used in this short and SUGI. Give it a listen on YouTube here, and check out his other music while you're at it: https://youtube.com/@__jebbe

Skateboarding in Chinatown: A Low-Poly Animated Short

Are we victims of the system, or just comfortable cowards? My dystopian animation.

Hey everyone,I wanted to share my graduation short film, "Ghost in the Machine". It’s a dark, dystopian animation that dives into media manipulation, corporate greed, and the matrix of modern control. The Concept:The film uses a TV glitch aesthetic as a narrative device. In this world, a "glitch" isn't a technical mistake—it's a momentary fracture where the polished, corporate reality slips, exposing the raw, ugly machinery of global exploitation, manufactured crises, and mass pacification underneath. The Tech:I spent months bringing this to life using Blender's Grease Pencil. I wanted to create a raw, haunting look by mixing traditional 2D line art with 3D space and heavy glitch post-processing.A quick heads-up: The voiceover is in Hungarian, but I have embedded English subtitles directly into the video, so you won't miss any of the monologue. It ends on a pretty cynical note about collective guilt and societal apathy. I’m genuinely curious to hear what you guys think about both the visual style and the message. Is it too doomer, or is it just an accurate reflection of where we are heading?Drop your thoughts in the reviews!Created with Blender (Grease Pencil).

Pushing the boundaries of 3D combat with a 2.5D anime-inspired aesthetic. This project was an exercise in Body Mechanics and Cinematic Camera Choreography. I avoided the standard "smooth" 3D look in favor of punchy, key-pose-driven animation to capture that high-energy anime "Sakuga" feel.Technical Highlights:

Hybrid Workflow: Blending 3D volume with 2D timing and spacing.

Camera Tricks: Utilized opposing-motion parallax to enhance the weight and speed of impacts without relying on the graph editor.

Custom Assets: All character designs and the neon arena environment were built to support high-readability silhouettes.

Aiming for a mainstream production feel rather than just previz. Would love to hear your thoughts on the weight of the shield impacts!Software: Blender

Franklin has an idea to get more money in the shop

VOODOO VIDS EPISODE 3: THE CLAW! Well here we are with the third short! This one was a lot of fun to work on this past week. I'll go into more details below as there will be spoilers if you haven't watched it yet. But thank you so much for the support! Newgrounds saw potential in the first episode and gave it a front page position. Truly thankful for that opportunity, and i'm really happy that the short has found some fans. I've been receiving some great messages and really am enjoying meeting others in the indie animation scene. OK, on with the the details. Spoilers from this point on. THE STORYThis third short is based on true events. I was out celebrating a friends birthday and there was an arcade, a claw machine contained these capybara toys, I just really wanted to win one but the machine wouldn't hand it over. My partner decided she would make it her mission to get it for me and i'm happy to say she returned to the arcade the next day and did get it as a surprise, and i'm now a proud owner of a capybara holding a smiling pineapple. FRANKLINWe saw Franklin in the 2nd short briefly. But this time he's made his debut. Franklin is a positive happy guy that just wants to help in anyway he can.. sometimes, he makes mistakes but that's ok. I find BIG characters are a fun contrast to the smallness of Thalia. Having a range of character sizes makes for a more visually dynamic cast and I love how Franklin is essentially Frankenstiens monster wearing bowling shirts and sandals. He's a lovable dude and I can't wait to make more with him. WRITING COMEDYProbably the hardest thing to write because it's just so subjective and i'm not a super confidant writer of anything. The first two shorts required the viewer to have some external knowledge of films like Twilight and Terrifier 3 to really land as intended. So this time I wanted to make the comedy as self contained as it can be. This ones for everyone, or at least I tried my best to write it that way. Some of the greatest comedies ever written stick close to what most people can relate to, Faulty Towers with its husband & wife running a business angle, IT crowd with its office antics... THE OFFICE itself! all of those are relatable character driven sitcoms. As well as referencing popculture from time to time, I need to remember that the writing will land best if it serves what people KNOW. So going forward I hope to lean into that more. and when all else fails? slapstick... Tom the cat getting hit in the face with a frying pan never fails. THE SHOPThe Voodoo Vids building itself is somewhere I want the viewer to desire to go. it's warm, inviting, filled with interesting things. It likely smells of stale coffee and hot CRT's and plastic video cases. I've seen every inch of it because I built everything in it, but the viewers haven't, So I try to get a few establishing shots in there to show the place from different angles. Getting that feeling of "I wish I could go to a place like Voodoo Vids" across more without sapping the pace. I just love strong establishing shots, combined with a nice piece of music, it sets the tone for the rest of it. There is a lot more to see inside, but we'll get to that in a future episode. SILLY VOICESI've done voice work before but for comerical purposes. Yes... I've literally been the guy that says"BUT WAIT! There's more" and I still do that, but I've wanted to get into character work for a while, so I'm using my own project as an excuse to have fun and explore that side of things too.I promise i'll get new voices in for future episodes... i'm no Hank Azaria and i'm looking forward to working with more people. SOME TECHNICAL STUFFThe Capybara world machine was fun to make BUT it was a headache at times. Between the claw rigging, and parenting to the control box, and the fricken CORD on the claw OMG... That was a fiddly thing to get looking right. A lot of trial and error but I settled on a bezier curve and used "hook to" constraints. It does the trick and that's good enough! The Capybara toy itself is a real toy, so I used my own as reference to make the model. I drew the machine artwork in Photoshop and brought it in as an image texture. and to finish off the machines aesthetics I composed its chiptune jingle using a website called "beepbox", if you want to make cool chip tunes and muck about with it, it's a great tool!I was going to model some coins for Victor to use, but I decided it was a detail I could cut to save time, and I don't think it would impact the visual impact by not having that in there. ON great tools a friend told me about WIGGLYPAINT which is the tool I used to draw the squiggly doodles of the characters in the credits. I love how fun they are. FINAL NOTEAside from my partner doing voice work and helping me recording foley sounds I'm working on the animation alone. It's tough but seeing the end result is so satisfying. And if others are enjoying it too then that's even better! Doing this lets me take on all aspects of a production and being indies, we get to just MAKE stuff without having to pass it around a boardroom for sign off on the dirt texture on the glass of the capybara machine. Thanks for the support, thank you for watching, and I look forward to hopefully making you laugh again real soon.

The story follows a student who drifts into "The Vivid": a space where our heaviest internal burdens manifest as physical parasites. Every single shot in this teaser was done solo and frame by frame. Amity finally defeats Giyu Tomioka: the water Hashira. 💧 The scene opens with intense combat already in motion. Amity, dressed in a striking black-and-purple outfit with flowing accents that give her a magical-girl-meets-dark-sorceress vibe (heavily inspired by Winx Club's transformation aesthetics), clashes directly with Giyuu. He wields his signature Nichirin Blade and summons signature Water Breathing techniques — swirling, fluid streams and crashing waves of blue water ripple across the frame as he attacks. Amity counters with dark, shadowy magic. Tendrils of deep purple and black energy whip around her, clashing against the water in explosive bursts of contrasting color. The animation uses dramatic lighting and particle effects to emphasize the elemental opposition: cool blues and aquas versus ominous purples and inky darkness. The fight builds quickly to a climax — Amity dodges or overpowers Giyuu's water-based strikes, closes the distance, and lands a powerful finishing move. She unleashes a concentrated blast or slashing wave of shadow energy that overwhelms him completely. Giyuu is sent reeling backward (or directly defeated on-screen), with water effects dissipating as he falls or is knocked out of frame. The short clip ends on Amity standing victorious, posed confidently with her dark aura still swirling around her, exuding a triumphant "badass magical girl" energy. Overall style: fluid 2D frame-by-frame animation typical of FlipaClip, bold color contrasts, dynamic camera angles (zooms, quick pans), and a mix of elegant magical-girl flair with gritty shonen battle choreography. The piece serves as a fun, fan-inspired "what-if" crossover showcasing the creator's OC dominating a canon powerhouse character. Become the last one out of Lifeville. https://sites.google.com/view/krangnburn/home

Krang N' Burn is an wacky, quirky, action-packed retro platformer featuring a destructive twist to classic gameplay and a lovingly hand-animated pixel aesthetic inspired from the nostalgic drawing style of DoodleBob and the Magic Pencil to the thick-line style of Hanna-Barbera and the UbiArt era of Rayman, warped together to bring this monstrosity to the world as it came out of the results. Pursued by Mr. X (as he wanted to annihilate the entire city of Lifeville), Krang, Nubert and BotBot (or any other character perhaps) must find their way to defeat him. Hilarity and exploration ensue. In comes this outfit of a soundtrack which is a quirky fusion of 16-bit, orchestral, and dubstep that sound like they're performed under the influence of Grant Kirkhope and Josh Mancell. Somehow, it all worked. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so stick around when Krang N' Burn releases so you would make up your own mind!

Krang N' Burn - The Trailer!

I turned my "Starting Soon" into a video game attract screen.

When you're firing up a Twitch stream it's a good idea to give the internet 10 or even 15 minutes to send out push notifications, do API handshakes, get a little coffee at the deli down the street, and whatever else the tiny gnomes inside the tubes have to do to get everything going. I decided to flesh out that period with some animation. The original clip of riding the elevator was originally inspired by playing a lot of Metal Gear Solid. It's all Aseprite work, and consists of a couple of very slowly moving sprites above and below my little vtuber mascot moving in parallax. I could probably stand to open it back up and flesh out the city/ mirror the statue of liberty which was originally drawn from memory. Still, I think it has a charm through the flaws. Giving the Statue of Liberty a giant gun and turning it into an apparent villain was a really funny bit back when I started using it as an aesthetic, but now I feel like it's hitting hard. Still good, but different reasons. I used Aseprite, Blender, and Spritemancer to pull it together. Aseprite was the heaving bulk of the work. Organizing the animation chunks and even pulling together the final animation. Spritemancer was used to generate the smoke effects in the gunshot segment, and I fully modeled that gun before rotoscoping it in Aseprite to maintain an aesthetic. I even went to the trouble of making the barrel automatically camber up just a little bit when the slide goes back. The turnarounds and final sequence with the Statue of Liberty are using freely available 3D models that were also rendered in blender and palletized in Aseprite. I feel like I stuck close to the ethos of making something like this for a DOS game without being shackled to technical limitations that only the turbo-est of nerds would ever appreciate. The soundtrack is a modified version of the intro track to "Eye of the Commando" titled "Prelude to Freedom". It was provided directly from the musician and I'm using it with full permission. Eye of the Commando is, unrelatedly, an absolute banger of a game that you're missing out on if you haven't seen yet. https://belthesar.bandcamp.com/album/eye-of-the-commando-original-soundtrackhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/3016480/Eye_of_the_Commando/http://twitch.tv/wobblypython

I created this for a university assignment, and procrastinated very hard, despite having outlined an intentionally sparse aesthetic goal. So, forgive the weird truncated pacing and general abruptness!

A solitary katana stands in a silent field, captured in black and white. This animation is inspired by the somber, timeless aesthetic of Masaki Kobayashi’s 1967 masterpiece, Samurai Rebellion. A fake trailer for a hypothetical game series. (Although not entirely true, I did have a concept of a game in development but it never was in 3D, instead being created on RPG Maker MV) This was my final year project during my time in university. I thought it'd be cool to submit something that had a low-poly video game aesthetic but I didn't have enough time to do more with what I wanted to focus on, being character animation. So having to come up with the fake trailer idea for a hypothetical game was the best to compensate into including all the character rigs I've made into my project instead of cutting them out completely. I'm not a musician but the music used is something I made in like 5 minutes because I used copyrighted music in the original.

The First Internet Animation On Three-Strip Technicolor.

So….Uhh…Sonic The Hedgehog is back on my animation production after 2 years? Kinda because it actually a competition of short subjects that I created during the Late 2022-2023 Period and been rerelease (or reissue) under my film distribution “Saturn Vision Media Film Distribution” including new yet nostalgic-like title cards. but there a catch but an artistic catch to enhance my animated shorts color wise. That would be The Ol’ Three-Strip Technicolor Process from the Golden Age of Hollywood or Animation that make colors look very vibrant. Because keep in mind that I’m very fascinating on vibrant colors or the aesthetic of retro cinema for god how long. Why am I using an old technology that has now dead for 7 decades or 42 years if you count Mickey Christmas Carol being the final animated short to be produced on Three-Strip Technicolor. To revive lost aesthetic or art from the retro Hollywood. enjoy this animation competition. TinasheJK’s Sonic Animations (Late 2022-Early 2023)

a animation that i did to show the feeling that oldschool 00's survival horrors game me.

HALF OF THE VID IS MISSING AUDIO DUE TO LACK OF FEMALE VOICE ACTORS, OR VOICE ACTORS IN GENERAL. Team of Multiversal Anomalous Objects Research [TMAOR] Members: GoldenDroid [Gold], SilverDroid [Silver], LeaDroid [Lead], and RoseGoldenDroid [Rose] “Their names and color designs are purely aesthetic and do not define the members’ roles and/or personalities in reference to the ores that inspires them.” – XxNicololaxX Roles and Personalities Gold: Team leader. Has a calm yet authoritative personality. Gives orders and follows Mr. Cross’s commands to theletter. Silver: Team explorer. Cold and straightforward when it comes to following orders or holding a conversation. Lead: Assistant to the leader and second in command. Looks up to Gold and tries to be like him. Due to her young age, she’s not always taken seriously. Rose: Team strategist. Intelligent and analytical, often seeking explanations or plans for every situation. Has a sense of humor and loves to dramatize events whenever possible. BIOS [SILVER] Name: SilverDroid [Alias: Silver] Details: The only surviving member of the TMAOR, now Mr. Cross’s right-hand man. Race: Human-android Weight: 75kg Height: 1.70m Age: Presumed to have been around 13 years old before being kidnapped and stripped of his memories as a normal child, later being turned into what he is now. At least 5 years have passed since that event. Appearance: At first glance, he looks like an ordinary teenage boy. Gray, messy hair that appears dyed, a gray sweatshirt with no pockets, dark gray pants, and white shoes. The only odd detail is that his eyes are never visible. [GOLD]Name: GoldenDroid [Alias: Gold] Race: Human-android Details: The leader of the Team of Multiversal Anomalous Objects Research [TMAOR]. Or at least, he used to be... Height: 1.67m Weight: 70kg Age: Unlike Silver, an identification card was found at his kidnapping site, confirming that he was 14 years old at the time. Given how much time has passed since the event, it can be assumed that he would now be 19 years old. Appearance: Appears to be a regular young man with naturally blonde, messy hair, a golden-yellow sweatshirt with no pockets, dark gray pants, and white sneakers. His eyes are also not visible. [LEAD] Name: LeaDroid [Alias: Lead] Race: Human-android Details: Gold’s assistant and the first female member to join the TMAOR. (Quite surprising, honestly, since one might have thought Rose would’ve been the first.) She’s also the youngest of the team, though only by a small margin. Height: 1.57m Weight: 61kg Age: Presumably 16 years old. Appearance: She looks like a regular teenage girl, with messy bluish-gray hair (which doesn’t appear dyed), a sweatshirt of a matching bluish-gray tone, dark gray pants, and white sneakers. Her eyes, like the others’, are not visible. [ROSE] Name: RoseGoldenDroid [Alias: Rose] Race: Human-android Details: Gold’s younger sister and the last member to join the TMAOR. (Surprisingly, since Lead was expected to be the last, given the family connection between Gold and Rose.) Height: 1.60m Weight: 65kg Age: Presumably 17 years old, making her only a few months older than Lead. Appearance: Hair of a rose-gold hue, matching her rose-gold sweatshirt with no pockets, gray pants, and white sneakers. Like the rest of the team, her eyes are not visible. This team was dedicated to investigating anomalies that allowed travel, transportation, or communication between different dimensions, under the command of Mr. Cross. He knew that there was a smuggled interdimensional travel device hidden somewhere in Overcity (different from the one Gold uses) and sent the TMAOR to track it down and destroy it. In episode 4 of EMDN, Nico receives the coordinates of where this device is located (from a mysterious and unknown source). He, along with Minino (and later Ian), set out to find it without knowing what it truly was. They climbed a mountain, entered a cave filled with traps, narrow passages, a minecart section, and a lake, until finally reaching a chest containing the device. Unaware of what it was, Nico operated it, causing him, Minino, and Ian to be transported to Neowave, the dimension Minino originates from (something the TMAOR did not know). This triggered the TMAOR’s alarms, but also revealed the exact location of where the anomaly occurred prompting them to immediately investigate. While Nico was still unconscious from the teleportation (his first time experiencing it), Ian who was somewhat used to teleportation was awake but frightened by the unknown environment. He decided to return using the device, unintentionally revealing his location to the TMAOR once again. With that new position revealed, Gold ordered Silver to investigate the area and retrieve the device if found. His exact orders were: “Silver, go investigate that new location. If you find the device, take it at all costs, find those who traveled, send them back, and destroy the device.” When Silver encountered Ian, who was trying to figure out how to bring his friends back, he seized the device, knocked Ian out, and went looking for Nico and Minino. Upon entering Neowave, he destroyed the device as soon as he arrived accidentally setting the restaurant where Nico, Minino, Minina, and Katy were located on fire. The others escaped, but the restaurant collapsed, leaving Nico, Katy, Minino, and Minina (though the latter two weren’t seen in the scene) unconscious.Silver took advantage of their state, bringing them back using his own interdimensional travel device leaving Nico and Minino in front of their homes, and Katy at Nico’s house (since Silver had no idea where else to leave her). After the series’ cancellation, Mr. Cross began searching for power sources for the Overcrystal and sent the TMAOR to various dimensions in search of someone compatible. However, he separated Silver from the rest of the team. His role as explorer made him more efficient alone, according to Cross. For this very reason, Cross devised a plan to end up with Silver as his only subordinate and promote him to his right-hand man. What he did was simple: he cut off all forms of communication with the others and disabled their interdimensional travel devices and voilà, the TMAOR was no more. Cross was left with only Silver, whom he considered to have the greatest potential and efficiency in finding someone capable of powering the Overcrystal.

Marsh Escape

This month’s animation was… kind of a last-minute idea. Halfway through October, I decided, “Hey, I should do something for Halloween!”Which meant dropping everything else and scrambling to get a full animation done in a little over a week.I came up with the costumes, modeled them, messaged LavendersVoice (Lucy’s voice actor) to ask what Lucy’s favorite candy should be, and jumped right into the script. At this point, voice recording is a breeze — we’ve got such a good rhythm — but still, I spent two whole days just trying to get Lucy’s chest to squish just right. Priorities, right?Meanwhile, in the background, I’ve been juggling work on the 2.0 models for the upcoming Kickstarter — the big one that’ll fund the first full season of the show. The new version will have a PS2-style visual update to replace the current PS1 aesthetic. Finding someone to rig the model has been a serious challenge, though. I’ve spent thousands trying to get help, but in the end… I wound up just making the new models myself.Hopefully by Christmas there’ll be more to share on that front 🎄Now that I’ve (mostly) got a handle on animating — at least enough that the shots aren’t jarringly ugly anymore — I can finally focus on telling short stories. That means more character moments, more worldbuilding, and finally showing a bit of what’s been living in my head all this time instead of just the emotional “vibe” pieces. Thanks for sticking with me through all the chaos — every bit of support makes it possible for me to keep pushing this project forward.
